Residual order plan not calculated, in Object Currency for report 12KST1C

Hello everybody,
I have a question related to PS report painter Costs reports.
I have created a form by copying the 12KST1C standard form, and I needed to create it, in order to change it and display the data (Costs, actual, commitment and so on) in <b>Object currency</b>, instead of CO Area Currency.
The CO Area currency is USD and I need the reports in ARS (Argentinean Pesos)since the project objects (WBS elements, activities, etc) are in ARS too and I do not want to make a currency convertion to a specific date.
So I created the Z12KST1C and change the ratios of the columns to Object Currency.
The problem is that the Remaining order plan or Residual Order plan column, which is calculated at the runtime of the report is not showing any amount, while when I run the report in CO Area currency it shows the amount OK.
I would like to know if that column (Residual Order plan) is only calculated in CO Area currency, or If I have to make adjustements to my form. Any ideas???
I have read several SAP notes like 668240 (2 F) but I still do not see that amount calculated in Object currency.
Thanks in advance
Kind regards
Pablo

It really worked fine. Thanks a lot for your response to this issue.
Kind regards

  • MTO Sales order is NOT a COST OBJECT

    Hi All,
I'm working on MTO process and i have some question.i would like to clarify MTO process.
If we are using Valuated MTO process and Sales order is NOT a COST OBJECT
1.Are we going to run material cost estimate for MTO materials?
2.How can i configure or make Sales order is NOT a Cost Object?
3.If Saleso order is not a cost object, how production order process will work from controlling point of you?are we going calculate WIP on production order and WIP is settled to sales order or FI/PCA?
4.Once production order is complete,Goods Receipt will post to Inventory or Sales order stock?
5.Once production order is complete,we are going to calculate variance on production orders?
    Any help is appreciated...
    Thanks,
    Anusha

    Hi,
When the MTO is created from sales end it will create the Planned order then it will convert to Production or Process order.
Once the production do GR or confirm Produced QTY the stock will go to Sales stock not to inventory stock. From there the sales can do PGI to customer.once PGI has done the account entry for the customer account will take place automatically.
Once the production completed the Production order need to calculate for the variance & the Settlement need to be done for the production order against the Material which you produced & sale to customer. The difference & variane amount will post to Price difference & moved to Product cost of the material automatically & COPA entry will be done automatically.
The MTO Material need to run for the Cost estimate also.
The WIP can be calculated & difference can be posted against the production order & the material which you produce.
The Process is same as the Make TO Stock scenario.Only the difference is the Production will get generate automatically when the MTO order get created & the stock will post to sales stock automatically.Rest the CO part is same as MTS scenario.

  • Cost center planning data-Plan Variable Costs in Object Currency

    Dear All:
I have copied a standard planning layout and for the field, 'Planned Fixed Cost' and 'Planned Variable Cost', I have selected 'Plan Variable Costs in Object Currency' and 'Plan Fixed Costs in Object Currency' as the Key Figure.
I am doing this because our Controlling Area currency is TWD and the other company will upload the planning data in RMB .
However when I do the above settings and try to save, I am getting the following errors.
The column 'Plan Fixed Costs in Object Currency' can input correctly but the column 'Plan Variable Costs in Object Currency' canu2019t be update in KP06 .
    ex.
    Planner profile: SAPALL
    layout :1-101
I can't update the column "Plan Variable Costs "
I copy the layout 1-101 and change the column to  'Plan Fixed Costs in Object Currency' and it  still can't input variable cost
    BR,
    Carol

    Hi Carol
I have done this many times and never faced this issue
Just delete the copied layout and Copy it again from 1-101....
May be delete the existing columns of the layout and choose the desired key figure of object currency
Then assign the layout to Planner Profile

  • Master data object - Available for reporting related

    Hi Colleagues,
I want to load some 'duplicates' to info Object X. Meaning I have all values same but differ in one attribute. (Key is same). I do not want to use compounding for few reasons. I have not explored on functinality masterdata for reporting (Flexible update, not sure i used correct word) Can you please extend help in understanding the following..
    Questions 1:
I understand that I can make available for reporting the existing master data object.
    2) Can I add some code to allow duplicates there?
    3) Can still the infoobjet navigational attributes has the same functionality - meaning they can be reported from reports of this newly extended masterdata?
    Thanks for your time.
    Best Regards,
    Hari

    Hi Arun,
    Thanks for your time..
Infoobject alread exists with out the attribute below at the monet. It is also available in the cubes for my reporting on cubes..I would like to add the following attribute for my phase 2 for my new reporting needs..
    Data:
    <u>Infoobject  - Attribute,</u>
    SKU1  - GRP1
    SKU1  - GRP2
    SKU2  - GRP2
The issue is with the 1st 2 records.. As I do not have the componding.. My Cube already have Infoobject with lots of data... I do not want to add attribute componding as it demands for the presence in the cubes also. So I have to double the current data base size.. Ahh I do not want this..
Coming to reporting on the cube
I would like to report on both the things.. Like..
    Including attribute
    SKU1 GRP1 abcd
    SKU1 GRP2 abcd
    SKU2 GRP3 xyz
    excluding attribute
    SKU1 abcd
    SKU2 xyd
We do not have any keyfigures..none is related with time..
    Hope I am clear..

  • LabView Exe Application file not launch Excel application for report generation

    Dear All,
I created one LabVIEW application file for report generation (using Excel Template).
While I run the program in programming mode it works well and create the report file in the specified path.
After creation of the application file(exe), it gives the correct path of where the excel template is placed. The same path is given to New Report.vi, but it gives the error 'File Not Found'.
Tell me, is any other configuration required for generating Excel reports? (During exe application mode)
    Give me the solution.
    Thank You
    Jegan.

    Hello,
Most likely you are encountering a problem of stripping and/or building paths.  Probably the easiest thing to do is put a couple indicators on your front panel for the path or paths you care about, build your exe, and make sure you are really using the path you'd like.  If you always put the report at some deterministic place relative to the exe (that is, even it the exe is moved, it will go with the exe and remain in the same relative path location, then you can use the Current VIs Path funtion found in the ... File I/O -> File Constants palette as a start path (where you will want to strip at least the exe name off of course).
I think this will bring some clarity to the issue!

  • Purchase order no not getting displayed in FBL3N for doucment type RE

    Dear all,
We have done a settings in FBL3N t.code. We have added BSEG-EBELN in the special fields and saved the layout. The purpose is to make the purchase order number to display when we are executing line item display for GR/IR clearing and Cenvat clearing gl account. Purchase order number is correctly getting displayed in Gr/ir clearing account. But in cenvat clearing gl account the transactions that are related to doucment type SA(that is J1IEX transaction), the purchase order number is getting displayed, but in the transactions that are related to document type RE(MIRO transactions), the purcahse order number is not getting displayed.
We have checked the BSEG table for the gl account. The purchase order number is not getting updated for the MIRO transactions in the cenvat clearing gl account.
Please suggest us so that the above issue can be solved.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Anand

    Hi,
Could you please add field BSEG-EBELN as a special field in FBL3N (from menu path Settings -> Special fields). Then, select the Purchase order field again from "Change Layout" (Ctrl+F8). Now this field is available for display variants, it has the technical name 1-U_EBELN and the description 'Purchase Document'. The other field has the same description but as technical name
'1-EBELN'. When you create a display variant be aware that you select 1-U_EBELN and not 1-EBELN.
Please also refer to note 215798.

  • Null values not allowed in object-parameter for esb proxy invocation

When I create a proxy service for my esb webservice and try to invoke this service from my ADF Application I was always getting the exception 'unexpected null value for literal data'.
I've figured out what went wrong through debugging the proxy-classes of the esb-service.
You need to define an input-value for each attribute of which your object is constituted. After I've initialized each variable in the object, which is the input-parameter of my esb proxy, everything works fine.

  • Memory full & request could not be submitted to process for Reports

    Hi.
I am encountering crystal report error. I have a database that store around 19k records some with and without pictures.
I am a newbie and I customized my own report. When trying to generate report for the whole database, the pictures does not appear. However, when I try to generate report with lesser records, the pictures do appear. It seems to be the picture size that may affect this. But I cannot imagine myself going to each and every record to resize the image file. May I know if it is possible to resize all the image file size at one go using SQL?
FYI, I'm using Crystal Report XI R2 ver 11.5.12.1838 and 64 bit windows 7.
Also, I opened the report through another software which is in 32 bit mode.
On top of that, I have difficulty saving the report or printing the report to PDF. Whenever I print to PDF, it print several pages and then it keeps saying memory full or this request could not be submitted for processing. As it is urgent for me to come up with this report, what I've been doing is to print the report in many PDF files and then combine all into one PDF which is super time-consuming. Please help. Thank You.

    Hi Teo
    This appears to be a report design issue in CR XI R2 (e.g.; it does not work there - worry about runtime later...). Now there are a few things to consider;
    1) CR XI R2 is out of support so you can not create a support incident. In order for you to be able to do that, you'd have to upgrade to CR 2013. Eval of 2013 is here:
SME Free Trials | SME Software | SAP
Phone incidents can be created here:
Crystal Single Case Technical Support - SAP Business Objects US Online Store | SAP Online Store
    2) CR is not a good archiving or graphics utility. E.g.; I am not sure how many pictures / records you are retrieving when the report fails, but see the following:
KBA: 1964141 - Supported image format in Crystal Reports
Error resizing images in CR2008 "background processing"
    3) It's never a good idea to create a report in version Y of CR and then try to run that report in a .NET app that is using runtime of version Y - z (at minimum be on the same version both in the app and the designer.

  • Why is Refresh Sheet not showing me the parameters for report?

I have a really large amount of data showing up in my report. It is taking forever (times out after 30 minutes) for my data to display. In the past, I have cancelled and then used the refresh sheet to constrict my report parameters and then rerun the report. However, today, after I select cancel, and then Refresh Sheet, the report just kicks off again and times out again without showing me my parameter list and without allowing me to specify my running parameters?
Why is this happening and how can I get my Refresh Sheet to allow me to specify values for my execution parameters.
    Thanks,
    Cherie Machler

    Hi Cherie,
Is this problem happening in Viewer?
If yes, I had a SR open with oracle for this problem. It was recently closed without resolution. It is a problem that they are not willing to fix. My scenario is that I open a report with multiple worksheets that are long running and with multiple input parameters. I run the report with the default parameters. Realize I didn't input the correct thing, so I cancel the report. If I cancel at 3 seconds or less, my session hangs and I have to start a new internet session. If I cancel beyond 13 seconds, the cancel takes me back to the select worksheets screen but only allows me to run the report - no changing of parameters allowed.
    Message I received from Oracle:
"I have received a response on Bug 5576575 - CANNOT CHANGE THE PARAMETER VALUES AFTER CANCELLING A
REPORT IN VIEWER and internal enhancement request Bug 6007588 - NEED TO CHANGE THE PARAMETER
VALUES AFTER CANCELLING A REPORT IN VIEWER.
The bug applies to 10.1.2.54.25 also. Regarding allowing the parameters to be changed bug 6007588 the
response " in order to fix this,it would need a change in architecture on how we capture and save state
    information. This is unlikely ".
It will not be possible at this time to change the parameters when cancelling a query in Viewer."
NOTE: If you read the bugs, they were logged against versions prior to 10.1.2.54 which means they should also apply to 10.1.2.50.

  • Attributes not appearing in an Infoset for reporting

    Hello Gurus,
I have an infoobject sold-to-party. When i use this infobject in an query which directly accesses the ODS , i m able to get the attributes like country etc in reporting. Now the same is not the case when i create a report from a Infoset. When i right click on sold-to-party the attributes are not available.
has anyone encountered similar problems. pls guide.
    thanks in advance

    Hallo
this is the standard. if you want the attribute of country then add the Masterdata Country to the Infoset and then flag the attribute. you need to join the COuntry from ODS to COuntry table with inner join or left/right join.
Then you will be able to use the attribute when  you build the query.
Standard process with Infoset. you do not get the attributes like ODS or Infocube.
    Mike.

  • File name field not generating dynamic file name for report printing

    Hello Folks,
I have a report region on a page and have enabled report printing. I would like to have the file name generated dynamically. So, I add the substitution string, say "&P1_CUSTOMER_NAME." (no quotes). The output file I get is literally named "&P1_CUSTOMER_NAME..pdf" (no quotes).
I have seen several posts suggesting the file name field should accept this syntax but, I cannot get it to work.
We are running Application Express 3.2.0.00.27 and BI Publisher.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks for your help.

I was finally able to make it work using a page process and the APEX_UTIL.DOWNLOAD_PRINT_DOCUMENT with a submit button.

  • Remaining Order Plan.....No SAP Notes Please....

    Hi Everyone,
I want someone who really understands Remaining Order Plan to validate if my understanding of it is correct or not. If it is not correct, I would like someone to explain it. I am not finding satisfactory answers from any SAP PS consultant yet, on Remaining Order Plan. Whenever, I ask this question, they say, they will get back with the answer and the next thing you know is that they have disappeared into Aladdin's Magic Lamp.
        I understand that,
Assigned = Actual Costs + Commitment + Remaining Order Plan.
I believe that Remaining Order Plan, basically is the value, that is deduced when we assign activities to WBS elements, and arrive at a certain figure called Planned Costs. At this point, All WBS elements have the status CRTD, .i.e., created.
So at this stage (CRTD Status), I believe that, Assigned = Planned Costs, or we can also say that,
Rem Ord Plan = Planned Costs.
Now, Once we have released the WBS Elements, Actual Costs are going to be incurred, and we are gonna have additional commitments, apart from planned commitments, (realizing that we missed some commitments we had to assign while creating the plan during CRTD Status).
So, Now during (REL Status), i.e., Released Status, the formula for Assigned would look like this.
Assigned = Actual Costs + Commitments + Remaining Ord Plan.
Now, Referring to the  Assigned Formula, in both the CRTD and REL status, lets analyze how Remaining Order Plan behaves.
In the Released Status, if Actual Costs = 0 &
                                              Commitment =  0 &
                                              then,
                                              Assigned = 0 + 0 + RemOrdPlan.
                                      ==>  RemOrdPlan = Plan Costs
                                   Hence, Assigned = Planned Costs.
As real costs are incurred (i.e., Actual & Commitments), values move from RemOrdPlan to Actual & Commitments Columns, or say they are apportioned appropriately to these two columns, and what is still remaining of the Planned Costs we would term that Remaining Order Plan.
Suppose, Actual + Commitment  = Planned Costs, at some stage in the project, It means, we havae reached the threshold value of the Planned Costs, and the combination of both Actual + Commitment, can cross the planned costs. ( not in all cases, but maybe in some cases, as no one can plan a project ideally anyhow ).
Once the threshold value of Planned Costs has reached, it would mean that RemOrdPlan is completely apportioned appropriately to both Actual and Commitment Columns. Hence, the Assigned column would look like this...
            Assigned = Actual ( % of Rem Ord Plan) + Commitment ( Remaining % of Rem Ord Plan ) + 0.
Here, 0 means, zero value in Remaining Order Plan, as it has distributed its values to Actual and Commitment in a certain percentage depending on how the project was executed.
Now, During one of the projects, I have noticed that,
if Planned costs was 100,000 during CRTD stage, they were distributed, in a certain percentage like say,
10 % to Actual & 25% to Commitment. Hence, 65 % is still left with RemOrdPlan Column.
               Hence , Assigned = 100%,
The problem is that, When you see, the System status, it shows, ISBD, Insufficient Budgeting, even if there is the same 65% amount available in the RemOrdPlan column. My argument, is that, when RemOrdPlan is something still consumable, how can the system show insufficient budgeting, ISBD status, when there is still 65% in Rem Ord Plan, and that same amount available in WBS element, (via budgeting transactions).
Moreover, the Available Column should show the same amount as RemOrdPlan, that is 65% of the amount, but it does not. Because, in reality, RemOrdPlan is what is available, and still left to be consumed, until it becomes zero. I think, this concept is confusing all the project engineers who are SAP PS, users.
Please, can anyone throw more light on the above arguments.
    Regards,
    Owais.....

    Dear Owais,
Let me try to explain my understanding about availability control and residual order plan =) hope it'll help
Status ISBD is set for any activity which is relevant for availability control which increase the assigned value not actual value.
If you include the activity group 02 (Orders for project) in your availability control setting then any increase you make in order plan value will trigger the availability control ergo it will set the ISBD status if the value exceeds the tolerance limit even it's still a plan value, not an actual value yet
IMO, if the system shows the 65% of the amount in Available column, user will assume that that amount is free to use while in fact the value is already 'reserved' only for material/activity which has been planned, user can't post any cost outside what has been planned
Please correct me if I'm wrong =)
    Regards,
