Hi Jay,
You can keep 0CURRENCY characterstic in columns or free characteristics and drilldown when required. This will give you as subtotals. Summing up of differnt currencies will always give you *.

  • How do I sum selected entries (currency) in one column based on criteria (specific text) set from a different column?

Disclaimer:  I'm not a computer guy but I can be taught!
I am tracking a checking account for a church ministry.  I have one table that holds the line items and the amounts budgeted for each item.  I want to add a column to that table that shows the actual amount spent for that line item.  The reference will come from the second table that contains that actual data.  I have a column that has a dropdown list to select the budget line item and a column that holds the actual amount spent for that transaction.  I want to auto sum the selected currency values based on the selection criteria of the certain budget line item and display it in the first table.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi wcanerday,
Thanks for the green tick and your feedback. Yes, the SUMIF function is powerful!
When you adapt the Personal Budget template, make sure that the items in the Category Column (A) on the Budget sheet exactly match the items in the Pop-Up Menus in Column C of the Transactions sheet.
Editing a Pop-Up Menu in Numbers 3 is easy. Please call back if you need more help.

  • Displaying different currency(different from sales area data) in Web shop

    Hi
I have a B2B scenario where only one sales area is maintained for the sold to party. And the currency is maintained for the sold to party is USD.
the requirement is to show a different display currency(EUR) for contact persons of the sold to party ordering through webshop.
I have tried changing the Product catalog variant currency, also added the currency 2 field in the product catalog variant.
But the currency is still being picked from the Sold to party sales area master data. I am not able to figure out any usage of currency 2.
Is there any other workaround available to display a different currency? (I am ruling out the option of Creation of new sale area as thats not possible in this scenario)
    regards
    Subhasis

    Subhasis,
I think you have to maintain the different currencies in customer master data.
If it is not possible  you can do the following method.
Create a custom field to show different currencies after selecting the currencies convert that into the currency which is maintained in the customer master data.
    Thanks and Regards

  • Print Layout Designer - Different Variable No for Different Currencies

    Hi Experts,
I will need your support once again.I just noticed that the Withholding tax field on the Invoice print layout displays only when the transaction is in Local currency, while trying to trouble shoot this issue, I discovered that the Variable Number for the withholding Tax field for transactions in Local currency differ from that of USD transactions.
I need this field to display irrespective of the currency, how can I achieve this? Can I get a comon variable number for that field ?
Any info will be highly appreciated.
    Kind Regards

    Hi Chike,
The answer is no.  You can not change them because they hold different values. If you want to use one PLD to print both LC and FC, you have to use many formula fields to do so.
    Thanks,

  • How to handle different currency PO value summation in start rountine of Up

We've got two ODSs, ODS1 for PO records and ODS2 for contract records. We feed data from ODS1 to ODS2. Multiple PO records in ODS1 could contain one same contract number which is the key in ODS2. In the update rule we select Overwrite as update mode for a key figure PO order value and our purpose is to sum all the values of this key figure up for the same contract number which is the key in ODS2 and place total summation value into the corresonding contract number record in ODS2.  In the start rountine of the update rule from ODS1 to ODS2, we've already generated the code to realize the above and the result is correct!  But you know the summation result is only correct for one unique doc currency, we are worried if both currencies of USD and CAD exist for the multiple PO records with the same contract number, then the summation would not be right.  Anyway in the code to handle this different currency thing?
    Thanks

    hi Ajay,
The link you provided only says the following:
"Creating a Routine for Currency Translation:
If you want to translate currencies in the update even though the currency translation is not available for one of the above reasons, you can create a routine. Choose Routine, set the Unit Calculation in the Routine and choose  Create Routine. In the routine editor you get the additional return parameter UNIT, the value of which is used to determine the target currency.".
I follow the above SAP help, but can't get an additional return parameter UNIT, also it doesn't tell the details on how to do the convertion.
    Thanks anyway!

  • KE30 report display in company cod currency

    Hi,
    We have two company code:
    1. In China, currency:CNY, controlling area:A  operatiing concern:C,   Operating concern currency is :CNY
    2. In HK: currency:HKD, controlling area:B  operating concern:C
So two company codes having different currency, two controlling area, but same operating concern.
Now for HK company code, every COPA posting, have two lines in CE1R***, one with currency:CNY with currency type:01 operating concern currency, one with currency:HKD with company code currency.
My question is for KE30 report, for HK company code, how to directly show in HKD? If using currency translation, the number will not show correctly.
    Thanks.

    HI,
the report creation/definition must be made for operating concern currency (CNY) and comp. code currency, this allows to select the currency type (10 or B0) during report execution.  Zhis happens when you are executing KE31 to create a new report and cannot be changed if the report is already created.
If your report was only created for operating concern currency you cannot display comp. code currency values.
    Best regards, Christian

  • Different currency apperance in report

    Hi all,
when the currency has to appear different in the report what could be an easy or best way to handle it?
The currency in the ERP is for each country available for example for company codes from Hungary, Malaysia, Japan, China is local currency available (there is also a currency type column available with the type 10, that means it is local currency). This data is loaded into the BW.
In the report the credit control area has to have the currency which is global in Dollar.
The thing is that the local currencies should appear in the local currency and the credit control area in the Dollar.
Could this be handled/ displayed in a report?
    Thank you for your help!

    Hi,
I want to have for each row the local currencies and specific rows corporate currency.
For example (1111 (this is the company code)) and 0010 (this is the corporate currency):
    1111  1000,00USD
    2222  2000,00JPY
    3333  3000,00RMB
0010 1234,00Euro (1234,00 as example conversion in corporate currency)
So I have rows with local currency which are transfered all into the BW and displayed in the report.
And I need particular rows where the conversion should be displayed.
I know the transaction RSCUR but don´t know how to handle the different currency appearance in the report.

  • 2 invoices in different currencies

    HI
for my export sales my client requirement is that they should have 2 invoices
    1 proforma in indian currency
1 commercial invoice in export country currency
i am getting the customer currency in commercila invoice
but how to get proforma invoice in indian currency
    regards

    Hi Rithvika,
I don't think your requiremetn will be possible. The invoice currency will picked from customer master,at sales order level you have the option for change this currency in document currency field. But at a time you can't maintain two different currencies for both the invoices.Normally the accounting document will have this facility to convert the exchange rates automatically and will display the local currency.

  • Currency conversion with different currency and company code

    Hi all,
how could it be done if in the report different currencies have to be managed / displayed?
The InfoObject 0Comp_Code has to be handled for example with different currencies. There are different company codes available and their currency should be converted in the query. But for example we have different currencies like dollar, yen and euro. So the currency should be dedicated correctly.
And the credit control area (the highest level in organisation) has only Euro.
The data (currency) of credit control area and company code in the cube is available only in Euro at the moment.
I thought it would be more flexible when the conversion is done at query level then at transformation level. We have filters in the query and the query is very fast. Is it also possible to include a currency for selection in filter?
Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi,
Yes, it is possible to have a filter for selection of target currency if multiple currencies are involved. However, you would need to define a currency translation first in RSCUR. Here, you can specify EUR to be the fixed source currency & a variable in case of target currency which will be used as a filter for user input when the query is executed. You also need to have a reference date (exchange rate date) & a exchange rate type (avg. mthly rate, daily buying rate etc.) associated with the currency translation.
