Display tasks for activities created in Win CIC
Hi! Currently the CIC is showing the transactions under Interaction Info tab. However, we have 2 issues here:
1. Tasks are not shown.
2. Tasks created under activities are not shown. I can see the activities but not the tasks.
I notice that under the Find field, tasks is not included in the list. Is this standard?
Is there anyway to configure and shown the above (either way)?
For 1, I think may be we can create a FM with our own logic to extract the tasks on top of activites, etc and assign to the 'Define Search in Locator' config?
Appreciate any help on the above!
Thanks!

Unable to create a subtask within a task for cProjects
Hi All,
I am unable to create a subtask within a task using BAPI_BUS2175_CREATE. When I pass the GUID of the project definition and fill the corresponding task structures to the BAPI, a task gets created at the phase level. But when I pass the GUID of the task along with the task
information, subtask does not get created. The BAPI returns the following error message:
DPR_SHARED 051: You cannot create Task for (Task Name).
Steps for recreating the error message are:
1. GUID is found out using function module CONVERSION_EXIT_DPRCE_INPUT.
2. GUID and task information is passed to BAPI_BUS2175_CREATE.
3. Task is created if project definition GUID is passed, but if task GUID is passed, there is no subtask created. An error message is displayed:
DPR_SHARED 051: You cannot create Task for (Task Name).
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Does my above configuration is correct ..?verify the following settings:
1. mapping of ECC plant and storage location and logical system number with the appropriate availability group code since this links the stock types in EWM to ECC org elements (SPRO -> EWM -> Interfaces -> ERP Integration -> Goods movement)
2. ensure the availability group configuration is correct (SPRO -> EWM -> GR Process -> Configure availability group for putaway) - check all applicable nodes in this configuration since the availability group code is assigned in the pertinent storage types -
Tecra S5 - no display support for 1680x1050 in Win XP
Hello,
I have a Tecra S5 with NVIDIA Quadro NVS 130M, 512MB. The driver version is 6.14.11.5692.
And en external monitor Samsung SyncMaster 2232BW.
Using Win Vista as OS, I can set the resolution 1680x1050 to the external monitor.
But I switch on Win XP and now I don't have the option of choosing the resolution 1680x1050 to the Samsung monitor.
Can you help me on this?Have you installed the newest display driver for Windows XP?
On the Toshiba website version 6.14.11.5692 for Windows XP is the newest (same as Vista).
http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com
Is the external monitor recognized as Plug & Play monitor?
You can also test drivers from the manufacture. There is a driver available for Windows XP. -
Create Multiple tasks for Single Item in List using state machine workflow in sharepoint
Hi,
I want to create multiple create tasks for Single Item in List based on Assigned to column using state machine Workflow through visual studio
Here Assigned to column allows multiple users. so i have to create task for every user based on column .
I'm trying for this but i didn't got any solution
Please provide solution for this.Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to allow multiple users to approve.
There are some articles about creating parallel tasks in state machine workflow, you can have a look at them.

Activity Monitor: activites created before upgrade not displayed
Hi experts,
After upgrade from CRM4 to CRM7, the activity monitor (tcode S_AE2_89000019) is not working proprely. After several tests and analysis, we came to the conclusion that the logical database CRMLDB_ACT_MON used by the SAP Query of the Activity monitor is not fetching all results.
It seems that activities created after upgrade are well fetched. Old activities are not fetched
Has someone experimented the same problem?
Is there a specific action to perform on logical databases after upgrade?
Thanks in advance for your helpHi Manfred,
Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately we haven't upgraded to Web UI yet..
I found the solution, I'm posting it just in case someone else is facing the same problem: CRMD_ORDER_INDEX is a table that consolidate orders data in order to make reports faster in CRM. This table is not updated after Upgrade, you need to run the program CRM_INDEX_REBUILD to have this table updated.
Many reports us this table. This report update data in new and obsolete tables as well (BUT021 and BUT021_FS) -
Workflow creating task for user in Outlook
Is it possible to create a task in outlook for a specific user via workflow? My Boss want to have every user informed via mail that there is a new element in a list (that works fine) and one User should have a task (even better a complete to do list) in
his outlook task tab.Hi Elite,
Based on your description, my understanding is that you want to create the tasks for users in Outlook with workflow.
I recommend to use workflow to create tasks in a task list in SharePoint and then sync the task list with outlook by clicking the button Connect to Outlook in the ribbon of the task list.
After that, the tasks created in the task list will be automatically synced to Outlook.
Please refer to the link below for detailed steps:

Access Denied Error For Shared Folder with Win Server 2008R2 Task Manager Scheduled Task
Hi,
I have scheduled a Task with the Task scheduler. It invokes an .EXE file after every 5 min.
The application is supposed to access some files lying on a different Server's shared path, process them and move them across folders on the Shared path only.
Problem: When the .EXE gets executed from the Task scheduler, I am getting "Access Denied to the Shared path" error. I have already given Full Control to Everyone as well as to the Account with which the Task has been configured with.
Another important point to note is, if I run the .EXE manually, the solution is able is able to do everything intended; I don't get any Access Denied error.
Kindly help me with what needs to be done in order that this issue is resolved. This is really urgent for me.
Thanks a lot in advance..
ACHello Alex,
first of all, make sure your task was correctly create: How to Create Advanced Tasks with the Task
Scheduler.
Please, read these:
TechNet Library Task Security Context
TechNet Forums post How
does "Run with the highest privileges" really work in Task Scheduler ? - Look at the answer "...When you want to run a program with admin rights from a standard user account, you have to select "run whether the user is logged
on or not" and select a user which is member of the admingroup."
TechNet Forums post
Log on as batch job right (written on previous post)
serverfault Task Scheduler is not executing the program
serverfault
unable to schedule a task (access denied)
UAC: Do you receive the User Account Control "Windows need your permission to continue" message to approve the scheduled application ?
If yes, maybe "Run with highest privileges" option will not take precedence of the UAC. While the Admin Approval Mode for built-in Administrator account is enabled, UAC will still ask for approval according to the settings on the Behavior
of elevation to prompt for the administrators. Check whether the "User Account Control: Admin Approval Mode for built-in Administrator account" is enabled. If yes, disable it or change the setting on "User Account Control: Behavior
of elevation to prompt for the administrators" to elevate without prompting.

Create a Task, for use in "Deferred Task"
I am in the processing of creating Deferred Tasks for my Update-User workflow.
I know how to create these easily. My problem is : the actual "Task" itself, which will be called upon from the Workflow.
I don't know the proper syntax for it.
For instance, below is the code I am using for my "Send Email Task". This task is supposed to send an automatic email notification.

Ant tasks for creating ADF Library
Created an ADF declarative component, exported it as an ADF library and got it working fine. The ADF Library jar was created within JDeveloper by setting up a Deployment profile. The created ADF Library file has the TLD file and TagHandler / Component class files created on the fly and packaged.
Not sure of how We could get the same ADF library created by an Ant task. Are there Ant tasks for creating ADF library available? http://www.connotea.org/user/jdeveloper/tag/ant has some details on the JDeveloper based ant tasks but doesn't have details on creating ADF library. You can use the ojdeply executable to create and deploy your ADF Library from the commandline:

Creating a Mass Task for an Account Hierarchy
Hi All,
I am trying to create a mass task for an Account Hierarchy in Web UI.
But what's happening is, the Task gets assigned only to the Activity Partner under the Parties Involved assignment block. It does not go to other Accounts pulled up in the Parties Involved assignment block by the Action mentioned in the Scheduled Actions assignment block.
My question is, why is the Task not getting assigned to all the Accounts in the account hierarchy for the Activity Partner?
Please suggest some solution.
Thanks,
AbhinavI was able to do this through actions.

Actions creating task for multiple partner functions
Hello Masters,
Need help in below scenario.
We are using actions in quotations. Different actions gets triggered as per status of quotation.
ex: Status: manger approval request: Task to be create with action for manager
Status: Manger approved: Task to be created with action for Sales employee.
I have configured action profile. My actions are partner function dependent.
Partner functions are different for manager and sales employee.
But when action is getting triggered it is creating task for both partner functions.
How can I avoid this? Does though we say action is pertner function dependent is it true or it is actually partner function catagory dependant. In my case partner function category is same for manager and sales employee. The partner function category is "Employee"

Thanks
KushalHi Kushal,
The partner function category is same - employee and hence it is triggering actions at the same time.
You may have to see if you can assign a separate partner function category to meet your requirement.
Hope this will be useful
Thanks and Regards

Creating a Custom Task for an external application
Hi
I want to create a custom task for our records management system, that just opens a particular file people use from within Incident Management every day.
The file is of extension .tr5 (which is our records management tool). I can open the file on my desktop. When I create the custom task, using the same file - I get a message ' The specified executable is not a valid Win32 application'
I can open the application fine using the custom task, but not the file.
Could it because there is no relationship from SCSM to the file type?
Any suggestions are appreciated. Are you using the executable exe file and the filename as a parameter in the custom task?

Create Tasks for target group.
Hi guys.
I want craete Tasks for target group.
But, I don`t see "Employee Responsible" in "Create Business Transactions for Target Group Members".
How can I set Employee Responsible for Tasks?
Thanks.
Sergey.Hi Sergey,
What i observed while creating Task from TG is we dont have fileds from where we can assign Emp responsible, as in Task Partner detemination(Standard) Access sequence we use for Emp responsible is User, and when we create Task from TG sytem takes User's Id as a Emp reponsible i.e. using which user u r creating Task from TG.
