Displaying dynamic attributes of a sku

Hi,
I have added dynamic attributes(key) for a sku and these attributes have further options example:
colour(key)-red, green
size(key)-small, large
I want to display these in my jsp in a similar way based on key.
Can somebody help me with this.

Why you want to go with this dynamic attributes approach ? why dont you go for traditional approach like extending the definition file .

I have created a bid with dynamic attributes and have weighted the options with fixed values. I publish the Rfx (bid) and all is ok. The problem is that the fixed values are not displaying when doing a bid response.

No. Not yet. I think it is a bug. You should create an OSS message to SAP and ask them to pay special attention to the following code block:
Class: /SAPSRM/CL_CH_WD_DODM_DYNATTR
Method: /SAPSRM/IF_CLL_MAPPER~REFRESH
At the end of the method, look for code context:
IF lv_object_type = c_qte.
*Set the Fixed Values Table to Invisible
lv_visible = abap_false.

Removing Dynamic attributes from node

Dear Experts,
I have two nodes node1,node2,i created dynamic attributes for both the nodes.node1 attributes are displaying when the user enter into first screen.node2 table come when the user click action button.i want remove the second node attributes after user click the action.
I tried with
wdContext.<node>.getContext().reset();
But above mthod deletes total dynamic attributes.is there any method to remove the partcular node attributes.
It's urgent........

Hi,
This method is suitable to ur requirement
wdContext.node.invalidate ();
As you are invalidating the node when you are performing an action .so that after each each time you press the action this invalidate method will be called.
The data in the node if it is there it will be invalidated..

Dynamic attributes in Bid

Hi friends,
I need to know / confirm dyanamic attributes manual evaluation process.
1. A purchaser creates a bid invitation with dynamic attribute for "text". Evaluation
 for this attribute is "Manual"
2. Bidder puts his comments against this attribute & submit bid
3. Purchaser opens vendor bid and has to give weighings to the bidder comments.
 Purchaser clicks on "change" mode
4. Purchaser goes to "weighing" tab
5. Under valuation column, I am able to put valuation figure, but there is no option
 to save the same.. because of which i am not able to consider this attribute for
 bid evaluation analuysis.
Please let me know if this is the right way of doing manual valuation of dynamic attributes or there is some other way. If its the right way, how can I save the valuation figures?

Dynamic attribute in FIM

We have an Identity picker control in User form in FIM which needs to be displayed dynamically based on the role.
<my:Control my:Name="Control1" my:TypeName="UocListView" my:ExpandArea="true" my:Caption="Groups" my:RightsLevel="{Binding Source=rights, Path=testAttribute}">
I am trying to display the control dynamically based on the user rights
1. Created a custom attribute "testAttribute" which is of reference type.
2. Binded the attribute to User obejct .
3. Created an MPR to provide read permission only set of users as specific requestor set and All users as target request set and boolean attribute as selected specific attributes.This is created mainly for visibility of tab.
5. In RCDC, we added the property as {Binding Source=rights, Path=testAttribute} in grouping section and IISRESET .
The control is getting displayed for all the users irrespective of the rights.
Could you please let me know if I am missing anything else?

Hi,
RightsLevel property is only for showing values of a attribute (or not) depending on the permissions to give to users. The control will be displayed anyway.
There is a attribute on the RCDC called my:visible which is from type boolean, but it can not depend on an attribute value.
So what you are trying to archive is not possible.

Rendering Dynamic Attribute in PDF

Hi,
      I need to render a PDF dynamically.
If I have a context node in java web dynpro with 3 attributes
Ex: Employee - Node
      - empId - Attr1
      - empName - Attr2
      - city - Attr3
But I can add an attribute(country) dynamically and this attribute has to be displayed in the dynamic Form as a Label/Text View pair. Is this possible? Do I need to write a Javascript for this using the form designer.
   Actually we need to add dynamic configuration. Here for all those attributes that are available at Design time. I can drag-drop in the form Designer and create a TextView/Label for these attributes. I can write a Javascript in the form to make the attributes(Lable/TextView) as visible or invisble based on the selection of the corresponding attributes in the web dynpro side.
   But I need to know how to do the same for a dynamic attribute that is created in Web dynpro at Run-time?

And as Krish wrote your form must be dynamic for this functionality.

How to display dynamic column added by vo.addDynamicAttribute in jspx?

I met problem when programmatically add cloumn and display it on screen. Here are my steps:
0. define a ViewObject using xml. Define a transient column Addtion2. later will add a dynamic column Addtion3, but not defined here.
1. Implement Application Module, adding a method init() and expose it to client.
2. In init() method, get target VO and use vo.addDynamicAttribute("Addition3"). Then iterate it use row.setAttribute("Addition3", Math.random()). Add init() to page binding and invoke it.( it's invoked )
3. In jspx, use dynamic table. But Addition3 never shows up.
This is my last question: Re: How to display dynamic column added by vo.addDynamicAttribute in jspx? People say I should use dynamic table.

jspx: when it runs, only 5 columns are shown. Column Addition2's values are set as expected. but Column Addition3 never shows up. And #{bindings.CountryView1.attributeCount} shows 5.

it's quite weird for me. The vo.getAttributeCount() is 6, but #{bindings.CountryView1.attributeCount} shows 5. And column Addtion3 never shows up.

Hi,
Can you check the tree binding (CountryView1 - in the pagedef) and see it has the 5 attributes hardcoded in it. If yes, try removing everything and then run the page to see if it works fine.

Displaying the Attribute of a Char

Hi All,
I have to display a CHAR in the report. But that CHAR is an attribute of another CHAR. I am unable to display the attribute with out displaying the main CHAR means I have to display only the attribute and not the main CHAR i.e
for ex: If I have to display the prod. hierarchy code which is an attribute of the CHAR Material, I have to display the Product Hierarchy with out displaying the Material.

Access dynamic attributes BPM; error while activating the process in sxi

hi everybody,
I have to access dynamic attributs in a BPM condition. I thought I could achive this when I click the radiobutton "contextobject" in the condition editor.
When using the value-help button on the contextobject a huge list of objects is shown for selection.
Strange to me is that also the radionbutton "interface-variable" is checked. I can not uncheck this radiobutton. But this makes the error while activating:
"Containerelement 'IDOC_'MyContainerelement'{XSDSIMPLE::xsd:string;SHeaderSUBJECT:ht' does not exist".
Has anybody expirience using the dynamic attributes/contextobjekts in BPM?

Create a dynamic attribute for each user

Hi All,
I request you all to let me know how to give an approach to the following requirement.
REQUIREMENT: I have to create a dynamic attribute in UME for each user and the read the attribute on lead selection of a table having list of Users.
 On lead selection, the dynamic attribute value should be either true or false. Based on this value the rest of the application specific operations wil be taken care.
 If a particular User does not have the dynamic attribute associated to it, then we need to create the same.
Looking forwarrd for your help.

Hi Rosalia,
You can only display attributes from the current entity and the entity or entities that it is contained by (the parent entities).
So if you had the following data model
Global
..the person
...the income
the person is contained by global.
the income is contained by the person (which is contained by global).
If you want to create a person-level question screen, you can display global attributes on that screen by using subsitution like %global_field_1%. You cannot, however, input global attributes on that screen (ONLY attributes belonging to the person)
If you want to create an income-level question screen, you can display attributes from the person such as "tell us about %person_name%'s income..." as well as global attributes. Again, you cannot input person or global attributes on that screen (ONLY attributes belonging to the income)
However it only works from child-to-parent containment relationships! You cannot have a global question screen which loops through the person instances and displays attributes from the person, or from the income out-of-the-box.
We have managed to implement this using custom controls.
You can map individual attributes back up to the parent level, and then display them,
such as
the first person's name = InstanceValueIf(the people, the person's name, the person's id = 1)
the first person's name is now a global attribute and can be displayed on global question screens.

But in RWB comm. channel monitoring I can see in Audit log but not in SOAP document.

We are planning send message to different receivers through XI adapter by using Dynamic Configuration.
Can anyone please tell me what are the dynamic attributes used for XI adapter.
In my scenario, I want to pass the Service Number and Path prefix of XI adpater dynamically by using sender ID from Idoc payload.
I know how to use the dynamic configuration UDF in message mapping. But I don't know the dynamic attributes which we can pass to Service Number and Path prefix of XI adpater.

We will use XI adapter only while sending the data directly from IE without using any feautures of AE (like adapters, modules etc). It is like directly sending data from ABAP stack without using J2EE stack. That is the reason we can't use any Modules in XI adpater and it is in disabled by default.

Dynamic Attributes with UDF - NullPointerException

I want to set the file name of an file receiver by means of setting dynamic attributes in an UDF.
I use the following code and map the output to the root node of the target message (one input variable is var1)

Could the reason be, that setting dynamic attributes does not work when testing a mapping as the mapping has to be called by the IE runtime or is there any other reason?

I can understand, but that is how it is designed because the filename paramter can be picked up only during the runtime. But if you use other parameters like interface, sender name etc you can test it in mapping. Please go to test tab and click on parameters tab. There you see few parameters for runtime also. You can put some value there and then you can test the mapping and you will not receive that error. You dont have filename there, so thats the reason why you are getting error. Hope in next release SAP would come up with this option.
