Removing Dynamic attributes from node

Dear Experts,
  I have two nodes node1,node2,i created dynamic attributes for both the nodes.node1 attributes are displaying when the user enter into first screen.node2 table come when the user click action button.i want remove the second node attributes after user click the action.
I tried with
wdContext.<node>.getContext().reset();
But above mthod deletes total dynamic attributes.is there any method to remove the partcular node attributes.
It's urgent........
I will provide the points.
Thanks,
Santhosh

Hi,
This method is suitable to ur requirement
wdContext.node.invalidate ();
As you are invalidating the node when you are performing an action .so that after each each time you press the action this invalidate method will be called.
The data in the node if it is there it will be invalidated..
Hope it helps you.
any doubts get back to me.
Thanks & regards,
Lokesh.

  • Removing an attribute from a group by clause

    This concerns a web application developed by JDeveloper 10.1.2 (adf, uix). I have viewobject with a query, written in expert mode, that has a group by clause. I removed an attribute from the select statement that was included in the group by clause and removed it from the bindings of the page that displays the data from the view. When I test the application module the data is grouped correctly. But when I run the view the attribute is not shown on the page but the data is still grouped by the attribute. The same query works fine in SQL plus, it looks like JDeveloper 'remembers' the old group by clause somewhere. I checked the xml file of the view object and it looks ok. Where can the old group by clause be written? How comes it is still applied?

    I am trying to place a shape on an image and remove it from the photo, creating just the picture within the shape.  When I follow instructions, I get a lovely shape around my image, but the image isn't removed.  It just sits in a white-checkered background.
    How do I get rid of the white background?
    The white-checkered background is a visual reference for transparency. (It won't print.) To keep the transparency, you need to save in a format that supports transparency, PSD, TIF (with save transparency checked), PNG, or GiF. If you save in a format such as JPG that doesn't support transparency, the transparency is replaced by white.
    Edit: If you are transferring the image into another software application, you may have to save the selection along with the image. Select<Save Selection. You'd have to also check which of the formats that application accepts.

  • Removing attributes from node

    Hi,
    Im creating a node and its attributes dynamically and binding it to a table to show a table dynamically. The problem is that when i load a new item, i have to rebuild the node and table because it might have different columns. The node allways has 3 fixed columns (id, name, description) so first i have to remove all of the attributes except the id, name and description. Same for the table columns. Can anyone tell me how to remove attributes from a node or how to differently solve my problem? All i see is how to remove an element but is a data right, not the model?
    Much thanks,
    Hugo Hendriks

    Hi,
    I had a similar situation, where 2 table columns were always present, and the name and type of other columns were only available runtime.
    I simply deleted all data (invalidate()) and recreated the context from scratch after each model execution that impacts the table structure.
    Otherwise, use the API to find the right methods for deleting Nodes and Elements.

  • Removing the dynamic attributes from view context

    Hi,
    I have added an attribute dynamically using the following line of code in wdDoModifyView():
    wdThis.wdGetContext().getContext().getRootNodeInfo ().addAttribute(<attributename>, <datatype>);
    Now I want to remove the dynamically created attribute from the context.
    Pls suggest me in this regard.
    Regards,
    Ramesh.

    Hi Ramesh,
    You can use the following code to remove the attribute dynamically:
    Iterator itr = wdContext.node<NodeName>().getNodeInfo().iterateAttributes();
    <i>// If the node where you are making these attributes is a context node then just do:</i>
    // <b>wdContext.getNodeInfo().iterateAttributes()</b>, <i>for iterator</i>
    while(itr.hasNext()){
         IWDAttributeInfo attrInfo = (IWDAttributeInfo)itr.next();
         attrInfo.remove();
    This will solve your problem.

  • How to remove elements/attributes from XML using Xpath in XSLT ??

    Hello ,
    Is there anyway or method of Xpath from which I can delete the elements and attributes from XML at runtime ??
    Like I have such XML and I have to remove per attribute highlighted below
    <person per="and">
    <e:emp a="ir" b="ad" >
    </e:emp>
    </person>
    And want a result like this
    <person>
    <e:emp a="ir" b="ad" >
    </e:emp>
    </person>
    Thanks

    To achieve this you can use the bpelx:remove function: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12483_01/integrate.1013/b28981/manipdoc.htm#CIHJBJFD
    your assign will look like:
    <bpel:assign>
    <bpelx:remove>
    <target variable="person" query="/person/@per" />
    </bpelx:remove>
    </bpel:assign>

  • Dynamic Attributes from LDAP Authentication

    Is it possible to have attributes pulled directly from an LDAP V3 Directory and made available as HTTP Headers instead of from the Data Store? Reason I ask is that I have an existing 2 Million end users in an eDirectory that I can not make a schema change to accomodate a Data Store so i have Sun DS for Config. So I have created a new LDAP Auth Module anc have that working with eDirectory, however AM wants a profile. If I choose to "ignore" it in the Core Authentication module I can authenticate but get an Error 500 if I try to fetch attributes.
    The current workaround I have is to Dynamically create profile and define all the attributes I want copied in the new profile. Problem is this information is static. it never gets updated by AM id the eDirectory is updated. The only option is to delete the user profile.
    Is there a way around this? Would this entail a custom Response Provider that obtains attributes directly from the eDirectory? Would I still need a profile if I have a custom response provider?
    Thanks in advance

    I don't believe you have to add any attributes to a directory server's schema in order to use it as an LDAPv3 data store. This config works fine for me:

  • Fedlet: How to remove SPNameQualifier attribute from Authnrequest message

    Hi all,
    Hopefully someone on this forum is able to give me some hints how to proceed.
    I'm trying to understand how SAML2 works, and how (if I get it working with sample application) I can integrate it with our existing application.
    SP: Fedlet (Running on Weblogic 10.3)
    IDP: Shibboleth (Running on Weblogic 10.3)
    Both are running on the same server, but in different domains (and obviously with different ports).
    Fedlet is installed, and has the IDP meta data file loaded. When I go to the fedletsample application, I get the 3 hyperlinks (Of which "Run Identity Provider initiated Single Sign-On" is a broken link). Clicking on the "Run Fedlet (SP) initiated Single Sign-On using HTTP POST binding" brings me to the IDP login page.
    My IDP is using the embedded LDAP server from Weblogic. I enter the UID and Password, and (if details are entered correct), I'm redirected to the SP site again. Unfortunately at the SP site (The fedlet app) the message states "Single Sign On failed.".
    From reading the log file at the IDP, I understand that my user is successfully authenticated, however IDP (Shibboleth) is unable to process "SPNameQualifer"
    The log states a lot but I think the issue is related to an unknown attribute in the NameIDPolicy element:
    My NameIDPolicy in the AuthnRequest looks like this
    =====
         <samlp:NameIDPolicy
              AllowCreate="true"
              Format="urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:nameid-format:transient"
              SPNameQualifier="fedletsp"
              xmlns:samlp="urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:protocol"/>
    =====
    If I look up the details in the IDP log I see this
    ======
    - Starting to unmarshall DOM element {urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:protocol}NameIDPolicy
    - Targeted QName checking is not available for this unmarshaller, DOM Element {urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:protocol}NameIDPolicy was not verified

    - Unmarshalling child element {urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:2.0:protocol}RequestedAuthnContextwith unmarshaller org.opensaml.saml2.core.impl.RequestedAuthnContextUnmarshaller
    ======
    From topics I found using google, I understood that this attribute is not required, and that I should "suppres" it from the request.
    Now here come my question, how do you suppress this? I assume I would need to add some information to the idp-extended.xml file that indicates to exclude this attribute (SPNameQualifer) from the authrequest. But unfortunately I'm unable to find this infomation.
    Any help, tips are appreciated. I'm sure somewhere this information is stored, but I'm unable to find it.
    Many thanks

    Maybe the problem#1 can be solved with a simple pl/sql using REPLACE statement. start with the <RESPONSE and look for the end > and get the entire string and replace that with only <RESPONSE> or maybe you can achieve this using xmldom to delete the attributes as part of the element.
    PRoblem#2 can be solved in this way.
    select xmlelement("MY_RESPONSE",
    xmltype('<RESPONSE xmlns="http://testserver" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://testserver response.xsd">

  • Firefox removes href attribute from anchor tag on copy paste

    Hi Support,
    I have a text along with the image used as a hyperlink as follows.
    "Sample Text.<a href="javascript:myfunction()"><img title="sample image" src="sample.gif" /></a>"
    When i copy the above text and paste it inside a HTML Control (for e.g. iframe), the control removes the href attribute of 'anchor' tag. It happens only with firefox and safari. It is working correctly in internet explorer.
    "Sample Text.<a ><img title="sample image" src="sample.gif" /></a>"
    Is there any solution for this.? Awaiting for sooner response
    Try clicking on the below link
    http://screencast.com/t/sXq6BcZvJB

    I tested this in Gmail compose, and what I see is: regular links (href="url") are preserved during copy/paste, but javascript links (href="javascript:") are dropped/cleared.
    I don't know whether this is by design. One place to research that would be [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/].

  • Want to remove an attribute from InfoSet

    We have created a InfoSet with three info Objects, 0Account, 0Costcenter and 0COMP_CODE. 0Costcenter have an attribute retail location  0RT_LOCATIO.
    0RT_LOCATIO is an authorization relevant object. We as consultants can execute the infoset properly, but final user's with limited authorizations can not see the data because of authorization failier
    We hae several options to solve the issue, deleselect the auth. flag in the infoobject; delete the infoobject from the attributes of the cost center or create an authorization object and assign it to the final user's profile. But we don't want to go that way.
    My question is, is there any way to avoid including this attribute in the infoset definition? We are not using it in the query and we don't need it, so if we could delete it from the infoset (in the same way you add or delete infoobjects from an Infocube) without changing the cost center aster data, we will have our problem solved.
    Does anyone how to do this (if possible)?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi there,
    The best approach is still build an authorization only for that attribute and only for that InfoProvider, in your case, your infoset.
    You could even insert that authorization in the role wher you have the menu for accessing the queries for that InfoSet, so that everytime a user has access to those queries of that InfoSet he/she would always be able to access all values for that attribute.

  • How do i remove Dynamic Pricer from Safari

    I have started to be plagued with pop up adds from 'Dynamic Pricer'. Typically the adds appear by highlighting random words in green. I also get price comparison pop ups when browsing sights such as Amazon etc. I would welcome and advice as to how to get rid of this 'virus' and preventing it from returning in the future. Many thanks in anticipation !!

    It's not a virus, it's adware. Try this: http://www.thesafemac.com/art/

  • Dynamically removing context attribute

    Hi all,
    does anybody know a better way of getting rid of dynamically created attributes than using the IWDContext.reset() functionality?
    Best regards,
    Christian

    Hi,
    We had the similar requirement .We have mailed to Uwe regarding this.Please find the reply below .
    there is currently no way to remove a single attribute in NW04. There is only the possibility to reset the metadata to the state that has been declared in the design time. This can be achieved using IWDContext.reset(boolean), reachable via wdContext.getAPI(). The method removes all attributes and nodes, that have been added at run time ("dynamically"), via one of the add…Attribute or add…Child methods of IWDNode. So, if you have added the root attribute at runtime, this method will remove it, but it removes all other dynamically added attributes and nodes, too.
    NW05 will allow to remove single attributes and child nodes, but still only if they have been dynamically added before.
