Distribution of users using CUA

Hello,
I have two systems SAP. I want to set Up Central User Administration.
One system will be defined as the central system and the other as a child system.
My question is: Is it possible with this setting to create users in the child system?
I need users in the child system, not created in the central system.

Hi,
You can refer to SAP document ADM102 for detail info about CUA.
The roadmap for setting up CUA is as below:

please note that system here means logical system which you should create by BD54.
For example,
Central system is PRD client 100, and child system is QAS 200 and 300.
Then, you can create users for QAS at PRD system client 100, within SU01, there will be one more tab page named "system", you can select which child system you want the CUA distribute, if you click both QAS 200 and 300, then, the user will be created both in QAS 200 and 300 (through RFC connection).

Good Day!
I have successfully configured CUA in SAP Production landscape. All
functions are working fine, except RSCCUSND (CUA: Distribution of User
Master Records).
I have created the test user in Central system and for child systems as
well with different roles, now I want to synchronize user master record
and Roles from Central system to child systems.
I executed the report RSCCUSND from the central system, selected the
required receiving System, Selected the user "test", select all the
options from Distribution list and execute it.
In SCUL I am getting "Distribution Unconfirmed" status for the said
user, as well as the user status is as it is in SU01 (both in child and
Central system)
I am using ECC6 SR3, SAP_Basis release 7.
Pls. advice how to resolve it .

In the child there should be a X un table USBAPILINK ( this will avoid creating users in the child system)
RSCCUSND you normally don't have to use: this is if you by accident loose you master and you have to send some data again

Custom code after creating a new user via CUA

Hi experts!
In our landscape we are using CUA for adding users in CRM 7.0. A new requirement is to adjust some default Web UI related settings for every new user created. There is no standard customizing setting for that, but it is possible to programmatically set prsonal settings using cl_pers_admin class' set_data method.
The question is if there is any BADI or User Exit for user creation procedure? If it is present, wouldn't it conflict with CUA routines? Many thanks in advance.

No. Not the main Library folder. Make absolutely sure you are in the Home Library folder and not the main Library folder.
Your Home Library folder is hidden in Lion. To get to it, in the Finder menu, select GO and hold the option key down. Select Library in the submenu. The Finder window will open in your Home Library. This is where your user prefs are stored.
Once there, you will see the Preferences folder. Open it up, select all items within it and move them to the trash. You will need to restart in order for the new Finder preferences to be recreated.
Once you restart, then you will be back to the default preferences to the system and all applications. And yes, it will affect all settings including your Dock, just as logging into a new user. You will have to reset everything there also.
If you wish to do a selective method, instead of deleting all preferences, try deleting the one associated with your problem. Screen saver problems should be affected by the system preferences, so try deleting this:
com.apple.systempreferences.plist
com.apple.systempreferences.plist.lockfile
Note that when you delete system file preferences, a restart will be required. For applications, just quit the application before trashing preference files.

Send smartform to multiple users using std. smartform interface

Below is the requirement : -
While doing an external send against the custom output type in transaction VF02, smartform is automatically send to the appropriate email address as pdf attachment. This email address can be sold to party/bill to party etc and it is controlled using configuration.
Now the prb is, using such configuration we can send email to single email id only. I need to send the email to multiple users using the standard smartform interface ONLY i.e by using the parameter MAIL_RECEPIENT in the std. smartform interface.
I have alredy evaluated the below workarounds for the above solution, but we need to implement the above functionality using standard smartform interface only.
1) Convert the smartform OTF data to PDF format data and then send the PDF attachment via email to multiple recipients using the standard FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1.
2) Loop at the recipients table and within the loop pass different recipient to the interface parameter MAIL_RECIPIENT of smartform. Hence in this case smartform will be called within the loop which can cause performance issues incase of multiple recipients. Also the mail will be sent individually to every recipient.
3) I have already checked by passing the distribution list the parameter MAIL_RECEIPIENT but it does not work.

How to let SAP user use SSO to access Application in DMZ?

Hi All,
Our J2EE application is running on a system in DMZ which can not be connected with LDAP. So I am wondering if it's possible to let SAP user use SSO to access our application.
After talking with my colleague I think the only way is to import SSO public key to our WebAS and create user in UME and then assign user to the corresponding public key, but anybody know where to download SSP verification file or is it allowed to download and import into another system at all?

Take a look at this example, it uses property nodes to select tha
active plot and then changes the color of that plot.
If you want to make the number of plots dynamic you could use a for
loop and an array of color boxes.

I found these is no directory "%HYPERION_HOME%\common\CSS\9.2.0\bin;" exists but "%HYPERION_HOME%\common\CSS\9.2.1\bin;"
I configured PATH by setting to above, and tried CSSExport again, still failed.
Than I disabled the NTLM is HSS, tried CSSExport again. It was successful.
So I am convinced that the problem caused by NTLM or PATH environment variable or some files associated.
Does anybody know the solution ?

I recommend you upgrade at least to 10.1.0.5. 10.1.0.2 comes with the very first version of csalter.plb, which has not the current implementation. From and to which character set do you try to migrate?

Not really. You should not be sharing an Aperture library over a network. It's not designed for that and you'll likely corrupt your library at some point.

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

You need to create a user account for your wife (or yourself depending on who has the current user account). When syncing, each of you should sign in as a separate user, login to iTunes and then sync. I had this problem when my sister got an iPhone. When we did her initial sync, everything on my iPhone showed up on hers. Apple gave me this solution.

They can, but not at the same time.
If one user left iTunes running, and another user tries to use iTunes from a different Windows user ID, that second user will get an error message. If they really want to use iTunes, they either have to beg the first user to log in and close iTunes, or else they have to restart the computer.
If you are asking the technical reason why, it is something about context switching.

Error while Creating user using Custome form

I created a custom form same as create user form
updated in xlDefaultAdmin.properties,xlWebAdmin_en_US.properties,struts-config.xml
on this custom every thing is working fine but when on submit(Create User) it gives me below error
in Admin Console : You do not have permissions to perform this operation.
in App server log: maoRejections:You do not have permission to insert this object.

My response is based on the following assumptions:
Your custom form is similar to that of CreateUser form in all manners. The logic at the back-end has been written by you as well. As soon as you get all the values you call the createUser API of OIM to create the user. You have wriiten your custom action classes as well.
The insert error may be due to the reason that the user which you are using to create the user doesn't have sufficient permissions. In other words, if this is done through Java code then while instaniating the API, the user used must be missing these permissions.
If the error is due to this permission for users then we can give these additional permissions to individual users, if in case its not and you have some other scenario then just give me more details, probably I can help you for it.

i am in need of knowing the list of users used transcation in last 2 days
can any one help me . how to find out the list of users and used trancation in detail or step by step
thanks in advance .i know that i can see in st03 but i dont find any user list or trancations .
apart from that so we have any other transcation to see the user in sap abap box

This info has been posted before but here you go (this is an alternative way to Bernhards):
ST03N, make sure you are in Expert Mode (not Service Engineer)
Expand Workload
Expand Total
Double Click on the day you want to analyse
You can see transaction details under Transaction Profile -> Standard
You can see what tx a user has started under User & Settlement Statistics -> User Profile
If you are not seeing any data then speak to your Basis administrator about what they are doing with the log files.

Is it possible to add a user using the RESTful Web Services SDK

Others have asked before about user management features in the RESTful Web Services SDK. However I can find no answers or links which provide an answer to the question 'Is it possible to add a user using the BI 4.1 SP2 RESTful Web Services SDK'?
Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, not possible. The BI RESTful can only get "stuff" that is already there. I suppose this would fall under some sort of "Object Creation" API and that is not there. Yet. Rumors abound, but nothing firm. Just as a BTW.; the Business Intelligence platform RESTful Web Service Developer Guide 4.1 is here:
