DMP key services guide

Hello,
My customer need a guide about all of the configurable DMP key services or counters (whith a short explanation about the command) in the DMP4310, I'm searching in cisco.com but i can't find anything.
...for example we wish that in the guide appear the command rs232.speed with the possible values of this counter and explanation of the use about the command.
Is it possible?  Exist any guide about that?
Thanks...

Hello Eduardo,
Indeed there is not a guide availble on Cisco.com describing all the available MIB parameters on DMPs.
However Cisco Partners have access to DMP APIs at the following link:
http://developer.cisco.com/web/dms/docs
You should be able to find a description how to use the relevant/configurable MIB parameters in the DMP API resources there. There is also a forum available on that page if you need additional assistance/info.
I hope this helps,
Marco

  • Looking for Service Guide for HP Envy H8-1414

My H8-1414 needs a new bluetooth/wireless card, and there is one on buy.com that I hope could work, but I can't locate a list of compatible cards for this PC.  Would a Intel Centrino 6235 IEEE 802.11n Mini PCI Express Bluetooth 4.0 - Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Combo Adapter - 300 Mbps - Internal - 6235AN.HMWWB work for this?  Thank you for any help you can give me, and if you know the link to download the service guide, that would be very helpful in the future also.

Hi, We have some employees with these laptops and a few need some work done on them. Where do I find the Aspire V5-552P Service Guide? I think this is what I need.  I'm basically looking for the Acer equivilent to a ThinkPad Hardware Mainatenance Manual.  Thanks

  • I have a G61 511WM and came across a service guide Document Part Number: 573709-001 is this genuine

Compaq Presario CQ61 Notebook PC andHP G61 Notebook PC
    Maintenance and Service Guide
    Document Part Number: 573709-001
    September 2009
I am trying to upgrade my notebook and all the specs are in here. I just don't want to invest unless I know this is the correct service guide.

You can look at this one for free and see if it does the trick for you:
    Manual
And here is a copy of the one you asked about:
    Manual
These are slightly different editions of the same thing. Just download and open with Adobe Reader and print. Don't pay for HP Manuals we can usually help you find them for free online somewhere. HP is one of the better OEMs as far as maintaining documentation, although they are far from perfect.

Keyboard replacement is not too bad but going any further into that model is hard.

Above is a link to the Manual. Click the link. See Page 5-28 for instructions on how to replace the keyboard. There is also a parts list in the Manual. You can find a keyboard on eBay for a very reasonable price.

Again click the above link...$12 keyboard. It is not a real HP part but they work. I have ordered several keyboards from that seller.

  • Key:Services, SoftKey:Exit inconsistencies are driving me nuts

I tried it on 7912, 60, 61 and 7970, with various phone loads (including the latest) on CM 4.1.x and found inconsistencies in how the phones behave to Key: Services and SoftKey:Exit. This is my code:
    - <CiscoIPPhoneExecute>
    <ExecuteItem Priority="0" URL="RTPMRx:239.0.0.80:20580" />
    <ExecuteItem Priority="0" URL="Key:Services" />
    </CiscoIPPhoneExecute>
I found that on 7912 and 7960 Key:Services stops the RTPMx created by the earlier Execute command. Whereas, it works just fine on 7961 and 7970. I tried to replace Key:Services with SoftKey:Exit, but the same issue. I want to clear the phone screen after RTPMRx command.
We would hope that by now SDKs and APIs have matured enough and the inconsistencies we saw in the earlier phone loads would have been fixed, but turns out that is not the case.

Welcome to our world. There's just one thing to be done here: open a case. It doesn't do us any good just complaining, we need to get Cisco to fix the bugs. Obviously it doesn't hurt if you go via your PM as well and mention that you are unhappy with the quality of the APIs (it's a very valid complaint.. speaking of which.. stay away from CCM 5.x if you can for now.. it is giving me a lot of grief)

  • Are all service guide processors compatible?

Just wondering if all the processors listed in the laptop service guide are compatible with the laptop? Thank you for any help...
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

There are two listed 1.8 ghz processors; an i3-3217TU and a Pentium Dual 2117U. We need to know which you have to see if it is upgradeable. 1.8 ghz is actually the fastest clock speed offered on any compatible CPU although if you can install an i7 it would likely be somewhat faster. These are all low-voltage chips and tend to run at a lower clock speed although they should be good for ordinary web surfing. The "this page cannot be displayed" problem is not the processor but likely a network issue. Are you using wireless? Do you have the Ralink wireless card? A lot of people are having trouble with that and replacing the wifi card is way easier than the processor. You would not even void the warranty.
Don't assume all computer problems are the CPU...in fact that is about the last thing on the checklist.

Not too sure... Is your installer supposed to create any keys in the registry?
Anyway, open your installer's build specification and check all the sections, I would suggest to bring specific attention to the following sections :
    - "Source Files", because here, all the "extra files you want you installer to place in specific format have to be included/referenced in the project (.lvproj)
    - "Registry", that's only if the installer is supposed to create keys in the registry
    - "Additional installers", make sure you only tick the boyes corresponding to drivers/module that are required for you application and also make sure that when building, the installer you used to install those drivers/modules on your computer are still available.
    Hope this helps

  • Missing Data Services Guides?

I want to develop an adapter for BusinessObjects, and have been reading the Integrator's Guide, where two pieces of documentation are mentioned that I cannot find anywhere.  The Data Services Management Console: Administrator Guide and the Data Services Reference Guide.
Any thoughts on where these documents might be located?  I have the Technical Manual, Designer Guide, Tutorial, and Integrators Guide, but feel like the other two aforementioned guides might be of some utility to me as well.
    Thanks

We searched log files and found no errors.
We then decided to attempt re-creating the local repository.  We checked the Show Details box.
The local repository was reported has having been successfully created.  This was the result we had before.
We then checked for canned functions and the list matched to those of our Oracle and SQL Server local repositories.
So, best guess is that something went wrong on the initial local repository creation that was either not reported or reported, but we missed.

If you did not deactivate the original installation then it is possible your two allowed activations have been used and you need to reset your activation count.  To do that you need to contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations.  If you ask for more than that they will tell you they cannot offer you any support.

  • Exchange BPA Errors (Exchange server is a virtual machine but the additional tools are not installed and The 'Services' string type value located in 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ExchangeServer\v14\Setup\Services' registry key is missing)

    Hi,
I am running BPA on My Exchange 2010 VM (Server 2008 R2 VM on Hyper-V) and get the following errors:
The 'Services' string type value located in 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ExchangeServer\v14\Setup\Services' registry key is missing or inaccessible. The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service won't start. As a result, all services that depend
on this service won't be able to start
Exchange server [Exchange Server FQDN] is a virtual machine but the additional tools are not installed. This configuration is not supported. Install Virtual Machine Additions for this guest.
Problem is that, for the first, that Key exists and the service is actually running fine. And for the second my VM tools are already installed.
Hopefully someone out there has had the same issue and can assist.
    Pete

    Hi Pete,
For the first error message, please try the following steps:
Make sure the Information Store service is in Starting status,
Automatic startup type and works well, as a test we can try to
restart the Infroamtion Store service and verify the service works well.
    Start
Registry Editor, find the registry key “Services” under “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ExchangeServer\v14\Setup”, its value is “C:\Program
files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\v14”(default install location), please check your registry, make sure the key “Services” exist and value is the Exchange Server install location and the
    location is accessible;
    Start
Registry Editor, and locate the following registry key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Exchange\Setup
    Use the
Permission option under the Security tab to check the permission setting on this key. Make sure
System is in the list with Full Control permissions if the service account is Local System. If you are not using Local System as the service account, check the existence of the corresponding account in the list and ensure that
it has Full Control permissions. Please refer to this article:
Title: Exchange Store Does Not Start: Errors 7024, 1026, 9542, and 5000
    Link:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/285116
    Start
ADSI Edit, and then browse to the following location:
    Domain.com/Configuration/Services/Microsoft Exchange/Org/Administrative Groups/AdminGroup/Servers/Server Name
    Right-click the
server name, and then click Properties.
    Click the
Security tab, make sure this own server’s server object have
full control permission on its own server.
If not or the object is missing, please modify the permission or click
Add, locate the computer account for the Exchange Server computer, add it to the Permissions list with full control.
Click OK, and then close ADSI Edit.
    Use
Active Directory Users and Computers to add the current affected
Exchange Server computer account to the Exchange Servers(previous version should be “Exchange Domain Servers”) group in the
Microsoft Exchange Security Groups( or Users) OU. Refer to this article:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/297295.
Restart the Exchange Server computer, then rerun the ExBPA.
For the second error message, Microsoft don’t recommend to install Exchange Server on virtual machine without additional tools, so the error message occurs. We can just ignore
this message, it will not affect the Exchange servers.

  • Some keys are not working on my laptop

Hello, i am new here and this is my first question. I bought  HP Laptop G4-1200TX from a local dealer 2 years ago. It worked fine till last year when i ,manually, upgrade its window from win7 home basic to win7 premuim and then to win7 ultimate. After sometime some of keys stopped working  {last row keys - "z", "x", "c", "v", "m" (the last row alphabets except "b" and "n") and the spacebar stopped working}. Its been a long time now also the laptop is out of warranty. I havedone following things :
    1) unistalled the keyboard from device manager and then reinstalled it again .
    2) cleaned the keys by slightly pulling them up (there was no dust/dirt at all )
    3) Removed the battery and hold the power button for full one minute and then reinserted the battery.
I Tried the above methods more than once but no success  . I have also read your forum for similar question and answers but they were the same as above. Its really  difficult to open on-screen keyboard everytime. Now i want it to be perfect more than ever since i had to go college where laptop is necessary. So i come to you now for some help. Early reply appreciated....
    Thanks in advance............

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using the forum, it is a great place to find answers. For you to have the best experience in the HP forum, I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide First Time Here? If you connect an external keyboard does it work properly?  If so then it is not hardware.  Have you run the The HP Support Assistant to help with updates and resolving issues?
Have you tried running Ms Fix it to assist you with  resolving this issue?
Here is a link to Notebook Keyboard Troubleshooting (Windows 7) that may also help.
If it is the keyboard that is malfunctioning, here is a link to the HP 2000 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide, please note page 18, item 2 for replacement keyboards.
