DMR with pending UD lot

Hi,  I need your help to advise
The case is I using the DMR with "for usage decision".  The sample of DMR is 3-5-1.
For the first 3 lots has been accepted then the next lot will come as skip lot (Quality level 200)
If my skip lot keep counting until lot number 7 (skip 1, skip 2, skip 3, skip4) and the next coming lot is pending for UD.  In the meantime, my receiving do receive the new lot which is should be re-inspect (Quality level 300).
But due to one pending UD, then the new receiving is also count as skip lot instead of re-inspection lot.  Then the skip lot will be 6 not 5 as DMR setting
What I need to know any block or alert message from SAP, could help on this.  MY needed is need to have the lot follow DMR 3-5-1.  Thank you for your help in advance.

Dear Craig,
I am concerned about the sample size calculation here.
Yes I have defined three seperate severities for those sampling procedures.
Each sampling procedure has many inspection severities assigned to it and I am defining the default inspection severity in the additional tab of sampling procedure so that where ever i use the sampling procedure automatically the default inspection severity will be considered for calculating sample sizing,
For example:
I have assigned normal, reduced, tightened and loose inspection severity to SAMP1 sampling procedure, then here I will default the inspection severity for the sampling procedure as reduced inspection. In this case where ever I use SAMP1 sampling procedure automatically reduced inspection severity will be considered for sampling sizing.
Similarly, I have assigned normal, reduced, tightened and loose inspection severity to SAMP2 sampling procedure, then here I will default the inspection severity for the sampling procedure as loose inspection. In this case where ever I use SAMP2 sampling procedure automatically loose inspection severity will be considered for sampling sizing.
The procedure which I have given above is standard practice in SAP, but here I want to assign DMR at inspection lot level.
DMR: If 1 lot is created then 3 lots should be skipped. Here inspection severity should not play any role.
Inspection severities should be picked from the sampling procedure assigned to the inspection plan and sample size should be calculated as per the default inspection severities assigned to the respective sampling procedure for an MIC.
Thank you.

I dont think any standard solution for this,
    few suggestions are
Go for a manual lot, client can track manual lot generation based on a report. report can be ABAP deveoped based on the client requirements. So every day client can run report and know which all materials are to be inspected on that day. I feel this as best.
DMR may have an issue as unnecessarily lot will get generated throughout the year in system. Its OK, we can do auto UD and all, but think do we really need these data go into system for rest 364 days for that one day inspection. If you ask me, I will say no to it.
Calibration lots can be generated only for equipments. Its only fixed time based inspection lot. But here material need to be maintained as equipment. i dont think, this is acceptable. Try first one which worked out well for me. Jus a report for tracking.

  • Is there any Demo to create a DMR with DP91?

    Hi All,
Do you have any Demo to create a DMR with DP91? The Demo begins from Create a Sales Order. if you have some, please kindly help me. it is really trouble me a lot!!!

    Hi Friend,
So, you are working on resource related billing and you are asking about the screen-shots if I am not wrong. If yes then I can provide you that but how that I don’t know. First of all I don’t think that a SD consultant is supposed to work on that.
However if you are able to work on that then better tell me what problem you are facing???
Resource related billing allows the user to raise a bill based on actual expenditure posted to the account. The first step in this process is to review expenditure on the account, decide which transactions are to be included on the current bill, and create a resource related billing request.
Here's a basic explanation of how DP91 works:
    1. you run DP91 for a particular sales document line item. SAP goes to this document line and looks for the DIP Profile in the Item > Sales B tab. Usually the DIP Profile is assigned to the Item Category in config, and defaults automatically into the source SD document.
    2. The DIP profile tells you:
    a) If RRB is used to create Billing Docs/RA or Quotations/Sales Pricing
    b) What type of SD document will be created
    c) The (non-SD) source table being read from
    d) Which characteristics on the source table are relevant
    e) How to bill each source line as a material on a SD doc
    f) How quantities and costs are transferred to the SD doc (which condition type)
    3. All config is handled under SD > Sales > Sales Documents > Customer Service > Service Quotation/Resource Related Billing
In fact the creation of a billing request is the first step in the automated billing process for sponsored projects.
There are several steps in this process that occur after this transaction, including
    (1) V.23 Release sales orders for billing, and
    (2) VF01 Create billing document.
This transaction is executed during the month-end period closing process after F&A (Overhead) transactions and cost sharing (settlement) transaction(s) are posted. It is anticipated that this transaction would be executed centrally by the Controller’s Office since it is critical that the timing is correct in the month-end closing process. At this point the invoice can still be rejected or modified.
It is anticipated that the individual campus billing offices will complete the billing process from this point.
if not very clear please come with your issue.

Photoshop CS6 keeps crashing. I am using a brand new IMAC, I have 16GB RAM recently updated as it was running slow with 8GB and lots of hardrive space. When it crashes, i lose all my presents and it changes my preferences, it also fails to save or produce a recovered file despite settings asking it to do so every 5 mins now. When i try to report the problem, it says it has found an issue and gives me a link to a solution....but wont let me click on the link.... PLEASE HELP! It's killing my productivity.

If the crash started right after you added RAM, it could be a bad Ram dimm. You can try this - change the amount of RAM in Photoshop to 4G, this should stop Photoshop from using the higher ram. If it doesn't crash, it's probably the ram. Or run a diagnostic app. You don't say when it crashes, what you're doing when it crashes - it there a pattern? Did it ever work on this computer? Did it work on your previous computer? Without a lot of data, it could be related to the new computer... What OS version? Did you recently update it? Have you updated Photoshop to the most recent update?
Do you have any plug-ins loaded? Try restarting Photoshop, and immediately press & hold the shfit key to turn off plug-ins.

  • How to set the 'Lot' field in Batch Pending (Product) Lots as 'Optional'

We are now Upgrading FROM 11.5.10.2 To r12.1.3.
The 'Lot' field under Batch material Details -> Pending Product Lots is mandatory, Which is very bad for us.
Our Current (11i) business process for creating Product lots, is to 1st allocate the 'Lot', and later on allocate and complete the 'Sublots' within this lot.
The equivalent process in r12 should be: 1st allocate the 'Parent Lot', and later on allocate and complete the 'lots' within this Parent lot.
Question: Is there any way to set the 'Lot' field to be optional?
    Thanks,
    Eran.

    Hi
No this is not possible, since Parent lot is a subset of Lot in R12. Once you choose your item as LOT, then it is not possible to make as Optional.
Try to raise an SR for this, Oracle may provide some workaround for the same.

    Thank you.
    Bill Wagman

It's ok to have 11g agent and 12c agents up and running simultaneously and we do it all the time during migration from one to the other since they have to run on different ports (12c checks this at install ONLY IF the 11g agent it up and running when the 12c agent is being pushed out to the host).
Also, if EMDIAG is the only place you see 1830 port being reported, it may be becuase its doing a search for any agents currently installed on the server. So if you still have both the 11g agent and 12c agent installed, this should not be an issue that it it reporting that URL/port with 1830 for the 11g agent. Since you can't upgrade 11g agents to 12c, (its required to do a new install of 12c agent) you have to do a complete uninstall of the 11g agent first from the OEM 11g gui console, then at the inventory level where the inital 11g agent was installed, than you may still need to manually remove that 11g directory if your runInstaller did not remove it once its "uninstalled".

I HOPE THIS HELPS people to see what I'm getting on the top level only:  Here are 2 images -- a before and after:  I have a very plain empty folder called "Test Folder 1 May 2015" in the first one (along with some other folders) and then in the second one you can see I duplicated that folder -- but it now has a progress bar and and "x" showing!  (Just the "duplicated" file - the one with copy in the name).  This is a screen shot (using "Totalfinder" if anyone is wondering).  Same with my daughter's new MacBook (and she has essentially nothing on it, is not using TotalFinder - but the same problem.  Hey, maybe it's not a problem, maybe it's a "feature" of Yosemite or just the way it treats root level folders now--- but I sure would like to get rid of this weirdness if possible without breaking the system!

  • DMR configuration for skip lot inspection

    Hi QM experts,
My client needs to configure DMR for skip inspection lot.
    Scenario Requires following steps:
    1.     Maintain PPAP approved status
    2.     After PPAP approval inspection of next 10 consecutive lots.
    3.     If all lots OK, system skip 1 in 2 lots.
    4.     Then system again checks next 6 consecutive lots, if there is any rejection again repeat step 2 else skip 1 in 3 lots.
    5.     Same cycle will repeat for skip 1 in 5, then skip 1 in 10, skip 1 in 20 and so onu2026

  • DMR with skip lots & without inspection severity

    Hi,
I have a requirement where my user needs the DMR at lot level where they do not need the inspection severity to be picked from DMR because the inspection plan has got different sampling procedures for respective MIC's.
    Example:
Create a inspection  plan with 3 MIC's for a material as shown below which is having active inspection type as 01: Inspection lot against GR
    MIC
    Sampling procedure
    Inspection severity for sampling procedure
    Temperature
    SAMP1
SEV1 (for 100 lot size, sample size =5)
    Length
    SAMP2
    SEV2 (for 100 lot size, sample size = 8)
    Width
    SAMP3
    SEV3 (for 100 lot size, sample size = 2)
DMR at lot level is assigned to the inspection plan
DMR is defined as given below:
    Stage
    Insp severity
    Skip
    Initial
    No. of OK inspections
    New stage if OK
    No. of not ok insp's
    New stage if not OK
    1
    sev1
    yes
    2
    1
    2
    yes
    1
    1
When a inspection lot is created against a GR for 100 lot quantity for this material then system will show the sample size in the results recording screen by considering the DMR inspection severity for all MIC's as shown below.
    MIC
    To inspect
    Inspected
    Result
    Temperature
    5
    Length
    5
    Width
    5
My requirement is system should propose me the sampling size as per the sampling procedures assigned to the MIC's in theinspection plan as shown below:
    MIC
    To inspect
    Inspected
    Result
    Temperature
    5
    Length
    8
    Width

  • Auto allocation for a move order with an expired lot doesn't work

    Hello everyone,
We are facing a major problem regarding the use of move orders for issuing expired lots.
    Scenario:
    1. Create a move order. Fill in: Item, Qty, Source Subinv and Lot. Lot is expired.
    2. Approve move order.
    3. Run "Move Order Pick Slip" with "Autoallocate Unallocated lines".
    4. Open Transact Move Order Form. Try to transact.
    Result:
    No allocations were created.
If we check row and push "allocate" button result is still "None".
Only way to finish the process is to open "View/Update Allocations" and pick a locator manually.
We work with a lot of expired lots, and doing that manually is a lousy workaround.
Does anyone know if that is standard functionality? Because documentation does not refer this issue.
    Thanks,
