Do you have a "transaction" scope for multi-request views

We have and application that includes multiple tabs, which are really iframe instances. We need to maintain state for the entire time the tab is open, which may be across multiple requests.
I am not comfortable making all our backing beans "session" scope, and making them "request" forces us to do lots of work (DB access etc...) on every post-back to re-initialize the backing bean.
I have been looking at both Shale and JBoss SEAM to give me this "conversational" scope. I have looked at "process" scope, however we may have the same backing bean in use for multiple tabs, therefore would need it linked to something like the viewId.
Does ADF plan on enhancing the "process" scope functionality or is it OK to add SEAM or shale at the front-end of the ADF processing lifecycle?
Your guidance would be appreciated.

Hi,
have a look at the ADF developer documentation on OTN and read the chapters on taskflows. You can have beans in a taskflow that have their scope set to backing bean.
If a taskflow is then used multiple times in a region, the backing bean scope makes sure the two instaces are isolated
You can't mix and match Seam or Shale lifecycle with ADF Faces RC and vice versa.

The processScope functionality seems pretty crude.
I was looking to define which data elements of the backing bean need to be stored (maybe using annotations) and have them restored automatically before the APPLY_REQUEST lifecycle gets initiated. I can write this functionality, however I was looking for a more robust solution.

Since last software update, pre-paid internet does not work anymore. Get "you have not signed up for a data plan" message. Pre-paid acct is in order! What's up???

I have had an iPad 3G for more than a year now. I did not get it with a SIM card, since I expected to use almost completely at home, where we have wireless internet. Eventually, I decided it would be handy to be able to take it on the road, and signed up for pre-paid Internet with KPN (national Dutch telecommunications company). That worked fine, until the last big iPad software update. Since then, whenever I try to make a connection outside the house, I get the following message…

To my mind, with pre-paid internet I should not HAVE to set up a Mobile Data Account in the first place. I’ve checked with KPN, and my account is completely in order. I’ve checked with the local Apple store, and the geniuses say they’ve never seen this. Can anyone help me?

I updated to 3.6.4 and when I went to NetFlix to watch the next show of a series, it said
something like
Installation complete, restart your browser.
I restarted browser, same problem. Restarted comp. Same problem.
I updated Adobe Flash 10.1, still same problem.
But able to watch some vids on other sites, but full screen gave me the big blank white screen with audio only, had to click around in the dark ( so to speak) to find the minimize button.
I did a System Restore to before the Firefox and Adobe updates.
I then did not update Firefox as recommended and went to NetFlix and wellah, i can view the movies again.
And Full Screen is fine.
I then experimented and updated Firefox only, went to NetFlix and got same msg with no viewable shows.
So did a System Restore once more.
Staying at 3.6.3 for a while longer until I know I can watch my movies.
I don't own a TV, so this is my only form of an occasional escape.
I do hope this is figured out soon.
With what I have done, it seems to be Firefox, Not Flash.

With your phone plugged in, open Image Capture and see if the iPhone shows up. If not, you are having a sync problem. If it shows up in Image Capture, but not iTunes, I'd delete iTunes and reinstall it.

the appleID is you in the ios world if you have an iphone and an ipad and an Ipod touch and an appletv and a mac then you should use 1 appleID on all of them it does not mean the same data is on all of them unless you want it to be

someone else can do it for you. I recieved my MB air yesterday, and it was signed by my apartment office personnel.

To ensure you don't lose any data you don't want taken off, ensure that each Summary, Apps, Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, iTunes U, Books, & Photos have the settings you would prefer on the computer.
If anything gets changed on any of those pages, you will be prompted with that message. If they look fine, especially after adding some media like songs or videos, then you can apply the changes without fear.

Constant "you have changed the settings for the iphone" in iTunes

On my iPhone 4, I can sync my phone with no issues, and when the sync is done and I switch over to the iTunes store or my library, it always pops up with "You have changed the settings for the iphone "my iPhone". Would you like to apply these settings?"
I can hit apply, go to something different, come back, do nothing but sync my phone again, and as soon as I switch back to something else, I get the message again...
I didn't change anything, but it keeps saying I have?

From what I've gathered. There has been an increasing number of issues ever since iTunes 9 and more problems with iOS4 for the non iPhone 4 users.
It's such a shame because I used to actually comment on how iTunes worked seamlessly and so quickly. This actually feels as if I'm running a typical bloated windows software now. [And to my great surprise, an equal number of people using iTunes on MacOS have given the same kind of feedback. I originally thought it was restricted to just windows users.]

I'm getting a "some of the items in the itunes library not were not copied to the itunes phone because you have not authorized them for this computer" error message for some of my songs when I'm syncing to my iphone to my laptop. I've authorized the computer, but I still get this error messge. Any suggestions?

Were these items purchased with a different Apple ID than the one you normally use? If so, authorized the computer for that Apple ID.

We remained our domain name. No port change. No host change.
We followed the note: 338003.1 All the steps went through fine.
When we tried to login.
After entering user name and password, login page again appears. The URL contains the following error message.

The issue is resolved by
1. ADADMIN -> Compile All Menus (FORCE)
2. ICX_PARAMETERS.SESSION_COOKIE_DOMAIN -> hostaname.new_domain

No, there is no additional Fee.
An AirPort express is post-modem, it routes the Internet that you've payed an ISP (comcast, at&t, surewest, etc..) for already into a Wifi signal that users can join. It also gives you the option to stream wireless audio to any system with a 3.5mm (consumer headphone jack) from iTunes or an AirPlay compatible iOS device

You can use it on all the Macs you own. To save time downloading, after you DL it the first time,choose "Install Later". Then duplicate the "Install Mac OS X ML" in your Applications folder and save it off to disk. Then go back and double-click on "Install Mac OS X" in your Applications folder to begin the install.
