Document alert me not available

The Alert Me menu on a documents page is not behaving as I understood it. When I select it, it correctly has the option "Set alert on this library", which works as expected.. However, when I check a single documents and select
the icon, it does not contain the option "Set alert on this document".
any suggestions to use this feature?

up everyone: I found that the option does not appear when the document is selected from a list, which I had seen in a video clip I had seen.
But when I viewed the properties of a the document, there Alert me option does permit tagging that document for alerts.

I am using the method "get_spreadsheet_interface" from class "i_oi_document_proxy" to get the interface from an 2007 Excel File with multiple worksheets. I have successfully opened the file using "open_document" but when I execute the "get_spreadsheet_interface" I got the error "Standard Document Interface is not available". My gui is 710 and the patch level is 21. I would like to ask is there any additional plugin which I have to install?

Add Document Link is not available

Hi ,
I have a site in which am having Read Access.
I am creating a document library and a folder inside that document library(I am having Contribute access for that folder alone).
Inside that folder i am unable to find ADD Document Link.I could upload document thorugh upload link in ribbon and not the usual way of using ADD Document.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening so?

I think, this is default behavior and i have tested from my side too. If you give only read permission to library and break the permission at folder level and give contribute access on folder, then user will not see add documents link. As per my research,
you have to give contribute right at library level to view the add documents link OR use ribbon.

Recurring Marketing Documents not available

Although SBO contains recurring AP and AR documents, they are not available for most country localisations. This is a very common requirement in Australia

there are 2 ways with which to achieve recurring marketing documents:
1.) Use the 'Duplicate' functionality.
2.) Use the 'Document Draft' functionality.
Both can be used to easily work with recurring marketing documents.

Now there are hundreds stacked up on my desktop.
I cannot find the answer anywhere. You need to give answers to how to fix these errors because when I "search" "error code" or the number there is NOTHING. NOTHING! Yet you give us these stupid error codes
then you do not give us ANYTHING on how to fix these. These error codes make me so mad it makes me hate outlook, and hate the developers and hate microsoft. How in the world can you give us ERROR codes without the explanation of what
to do or how to fix it. You need to add each error code number in your "search" then explain what it is and how to fix it. I am not a tech. I am a lawyer. I have googled the entire string of error code and nothing is clear.
So, for the last several years, I get these error codes. Also, there is another error code that won't go away--it is the password error code that asks if I want to store the password. Yes, so I say YES. but it pops back. I am sick of this. This is the reason

I understand how frustrated you are when facing such an issue, maybe I can provide some suggestions on the problem.
Based on the description, you should be using an IMAP account setup in Outlook. As for the error message, usually it's caused by a corrupted message on the Server. I suggest you logon the Webmail site, check if sending/receiving emails works well.
If you find any unusual emails that cannot be read or sent, try deleting them to try again.
I also suggest you create a new profile to setup the IMAP account:

Contact your Email Service Provider to get the correct and latest account settings, since you have been using Outlook for years, some settings may have been changed while you haven't been informed.

I write the some asp code to save the word file from client machine to server machine , and convert it into the html file.
it working fine when i debug the code into the visual studio but when i deploy code on iis it give me a error 'This command is not available because no document is open' , while i try to save file into html format.
lot of time i try this give all the security full access to iis user and other things .
can any one help me. i fully frustrated from this problem.
my need only upload the word document from client to server machine and convert it into the word document.
only IIS give me the problem, suggest me what setting i need to do in iis

Web service not available in F4 help of document template

Hi ,
I have created a web service using tool WS_DESIGN_TOOL. Its active and status is productive. Now when I am creating document template , I am not able to see this web service in F4. Hence not able to create document template with my web service.
I also tried by copying standard web service and then using it but even that web service is not available in F4.
Do we need to any additional steps so that web service appears in F4 help of document template.

Status of Document (Release) not available

"Release Status" is not available in the document which is created/changed using CV01N/CV02N transactions.
I have the below customising settings for the document type.

Hi Ravi,
If you have a predecessor status for 'Released' status, then this status will appear only if you reach the predecessor status in the DIR.
If you are using standard 'DRW' document type, then PR-Checked & AR-Archived are the predecessor statuses for 'Released'.
Check the status graphics on the top right of the second screenshot for details on the status flow.

From what I can see, unless you're doing things with old versions of Xcode on a Mac (in which case, the solution seems to be to upgrade to the latest version), this seems to e an iTunes issue.
Accepting that it works fine with another iPad, I suggest trying the following:
1. Restart the non-working iPad
2. If that doesn't work, reinstall iTunes. If you're on a Windows PC, I suggest using Control Panel to uninstall all the Apple apps, restarting the PC, and doing a fresh install. If you're using a Mac, a repair permissions might help too.
iTunes 10.3 is now available, and that may make a difference.

Dear SRM Experts,
We are on SRM7.0 with SAP 4.6 C as backend SAP R/3 system (Classic Deployment).
When we try to create an invoice in SRM wrt a PO ( with item category B ... created from a limit SC with invoice only option), we get an error :
Line 1: Preceding document required for the invoice is not available
We are not sure ..why this error is coming and what preceding document system is checking ?
As the PO is with item category B.. the GR is not required
Any inputs will be highly appreciated..

This error usually comes up when the PO has the flag GR_BASEDIV set. Please check your PO and verify if it is flagged.

Whenever I launch Word 2013, the error message "This command is not available because no document is open" appears. This causes an issue that prevents a program called SNAP used for education from working properly. I've been able
to work around the error message itself by disabling the start screen for Word 2013, so it opens straight into a blank document, but SNAP still does not work.
I've not been able to make any headway researching the issue. It seems most people run into this error scripting or coding, and it's usually that they try to save a document or something before they actually make the document.
I don't know that it's relevant, but this is occuring on a 32-bit Windows 7 box.

It seems the PO has GR Based Invoice Verification indicator active. IN that case system will look for the confirmations/GRs for this PO in order for you to post an invoice for this PO.
