Dear Experts,
When i do settlement reverse via CJ88, i got the below mentioned error.
"Document balance cannot be distributed when settlement is reversed"
My current system has implemented already the below notes
"Note 891709 - Settlement reversal to fixed asset: Error msgs AW751, AW753" but the satus of implementation is " Cannot be implemented" which the SAP Note does not contain any correction instructions that you can implement in your system. No action is required.
other SAP note related to this error is Note 190402 - Settlement to an asset: AW751, AW753 with reversal which is for the SAP system up to 4.6C version.
My current system is ECC 6.0.
Can any one give me a hint what could be the cause for this error other than above mentioned?

Hi Vetrivelan,
The solution lies in note 891709 itself. May be you have missed the correction part given in the note. This note has two correction options for separate versions. Check it once again.
Also check the prerequisite as stated in the note. It can guide you about the relevence of this note to your system.

When you try to open Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional, the application returns the error "Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional cannot be launched at this time. You must launch at least one other suite component (such as Adobe Photoshop) before launching Acrobat 8 Professional."
Please try to do one of the following solutions:
* Open another Creative Suite 3 application first.
*Open any other Creative Suite 3 application and follow the on-screen instructions to enter a serial number and activate your software. Then open Acrobat 8 Professional.
But if you have MAC OS - Move the Acrobat, Adobe PCD, and Adobe PDF folders.
Quit any Adobe applications that are open.
In the Finder, navigate to /Library/Application Support/Adobe.
Note: This folder path refers to the Library folder at the root level of the startup disk, not the Library folder that is inside a user's Home folder.
Move the following folders to your Documents folder or another safe location:
Acrobat
Adobe PCD
Adobe PDF
Important: Do not delete these folders.

In regarding of the issue, I need more information:
Which Office and operation system do you use?
Does the other Office suits encounter the issue?
Does the issue occur in some special documents or every documents (even a new blank Word document)?
Do you get some error message? Please upload some images about it if you can.
Let's try some methods, check if they are helpful:
a) Delete the Word Data registry subkey.
1.Exit all Office programs.
2.In Windows 8 or Windows 8.1, swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. (If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Search.) Type regedit in the search box, tap
or click Apps, and then tap or click Run.
Or, in Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
3.Locate the following registry subkey, as appropriate for the version of Word that you are running:

CJ88 Cannot proceed with FUL settlement to Final asset

We have a PO with WBS as account assignment. Users posted a down payment to this PO in 12/2010 and when they ran the settlement Type 1 (Automatic) it posted a DP posting to the AUC transaction type 180.
In Standard SAP transaction, this will get reversed if the users post the invoice and executes CJ88 again.
Now, our problem is that, the invoice was not posted until now, and the DP is still open in the AUC. THey want to do settlement to the final asset but is getting an error CJ88 type 3 (FULL)
*ORIGINAL Error:* You cannot post comp. retirement for asset 102000121 0 with this trans.type
Message no. AA341
Diagnosis
A down payment was posted to asset 102000121 0. In depreciation area 01, if not elsewhere, all down payments were not cleared.
Procedure
Before posting a complete retirement on this asset, you have to first clear the down payment in all depreciation areas.
FY 2010 is now closed in asset. I tried posting an ofsetting entry for the DP on FY2011. I used ttype 181. I tried to re-setlle type 3 (FULL) but now, the error message refers to Area 32
*AFTER POSTING TTYPE 181:*You cannot post comp.retirement for asset 102000121 0 with this trans.type

Our Dep area 32 is configured to take values from 01 but reflect it in USD and it is set to AREA NOT POST.
Does anyone have any thoughts why the system is checking area 32 if its deriving values from 01?
Additionally, how can i clear the DP in 2010, with a posting in 2011 and be able to execute the settlement to final asset.

Please review the note 35309.
As the long text of the error suggests, the cause for this error is most likely down to downpayments which are not yet settled.
In general the settled down-payments and their clearings should be balanced to ZERO in the settlements.
In investment measures with summary settlement you will always get the error AA341, if the down-payment balance is not zero.

hello, I am trying to close Purchase Orders using DTW. When I import the files I get the following error :
Document rows Cannot be closed concurrently with the other document modifications you have made (POR1.linestatus).
These are item Purchase Orders, with 1 item in the contents of the PO.
the client is on SAP Business One 2007 A (8.00.232) SP: 01 PL: 07 and
DTW Version 2005.0.28 , API Version 8.0.181
When I use the same templates for Service Purchase orders I have no problem closing it with DTW.

Check if this PO has target document or not. If a partial GRPO based on the PO, you need to close it manually.

The document "anything" cannot be opened

So a few years ago I bought iWork and moved all of my life's work into Pages. Then I took a break for a while, came back, and Pages no longer will open any files. Every attempt gives me "The document 'whatever' cannot be opened". These are all files I created WITH Pages and worked on IN Pages.
I've read some of the similar posts - this isn't a version problem. I only have the one version of iWork and only the one original version of Pages: Pages 1.0.2.
When I go to the File menu and select "New" I get "The template "Blank.template" could not be opened". What is going on?
I did move from my original computer to a new Mac Pro and did the auto-transfer thing. Maybe it botched up the transfer.
Apple software on an Apple computer running Apple OS. I'm not impressed.

I don't own the first version of Pages so I can't check.
I wouldn't be sure that this old version is compatible with 10.6.3.
This operating system requires the very last version for Pages v3 : 3.0.3
and for Pages v4 : 4.0.3
Pages v1 and v2 didn't got an update for 10.6.3.
It may be why you can't open your files with it.
Try to download the iWork free trial version.
It's a 30 days one and after the 30 days, it becomes a reader only application.

If someone can help me on this: When I am using foll. code in the field on the RTF template (in field properties --> Add Help Text-->Help Key (F1) window):

I am getting foll. error : "Caused by: oracle.xdo.parser.v2.XMLParseException: Cannot transform child 'when' in 'choose'.".
But if I put it directly on the page (not as a field), it works fine. I can't put it directly as I can't align it the way I want (right top) as it default comes bottom left.
Let me know if this code is fine, or what can be the IF version of it?

Hi,
I had a similar issue about a year or so ago and raised an SR. Unfortunately it's dropped off my SR list since it is fairly old but I think the reason given was that you can't have more than one 'when' statement in a single line.
If it works outside of a from field then I would put your code in a template and then call that from a form field eg:
<?template:t_choose?>
choose statements
<?end template?>
(Note this template can be put anywhere in your document)
Then in your table just use <?call:t_choose?> in your form field to reference it.

i'm facing a simillar issue with dbadapter while trying to insert a record.
The issue that I'm facing is: (BINDING.JCA-12563)
Exception occured when binding was invoked. Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'insert' failed due to: DBWriteInteractionSpec Execute Failed Exception. insert failed. Descriptor name: http://InsertEmployee.TestEmp. Caused by java.sql.SQLException: Cannot call rollback when using distributed transactions. ". The invoked JCA adapter raised a resource exception. Please examine the above error message carefully to determine a resolution.
I faced the same issues that have been posted in this thread before but this is a new one I'm seeing.
Following are the configurations that I'm using.

following is the settings for dataSourceName property
dataSourceName java.lang.String jdbc/SOADataSource
I have kept the value for xADataSourceName as blank as giving the same value of 'jdbc/SOADataSource' throws error.
The JNDI value that I'm using while creating the database adapter from Jdev is eis/DB/10gXE_DBCon where 10gXE_DBCon is the database connection name.
Can you please tell me what is the issue and where I'm going wrong.

Now i am using SAP BUSINESS ONE 2007 B PATCH LEVEL 19.
problem is that previously i was using patch level 4.
when i was using patch level 4 , i used to punch sales order.
now when i upgraded to patch level 19 .SAP is not allowing to update the so which was punched in patch level 4.
SCENARIO
1.so is raised of 10 pcs in patch level 4.
2.delivery was punched of 5 pcs.
3.now sap upgraded to patch level 19.
4.now m modifying that so.
5.particular so which was of 10 pcs , m reducing that 10 pcs to 5 pcs.
5.now that particular is closed .
6. when i add remaining 5 pcs below that row and update.it is throwing me an error "Documents rows cannot be closed concurrently with the other document modifications you have made"

Error "Document splitting cannot find a distribution for currency type 00"

Hi All,
We are using ECC 6.0 version nAfter uploading a MT940 bank statement thru FF_5 we usually go to FEBA and check if there are any unposted items and we post them manually. And while doing so I am getting an error as "document splitting cannot find a distribution for currency type 00". But when i simulated the same scenario in my QA system the document is getting posting of without any issue. If any one has come across this situation, let me know how to over come the same.
