Document update date

Hi Experts,
How can I find out when a document e.g. Production is last updated from the system?
Just wonder if there is a way to find out the metadata from the system that when a field get changed.
There is a status field on Production Order Header that will change from "released" to "closed". I wnat to find out when the field is changed so that I can compare the time different using "datediff" and compare with getdate() to send out an alert.

Unlike marketing document, there is no Change Log for Production Order.
You may query CloseDate field to see if that is you looking for.

How can I update data fields in a merged document ?

Hi,
I'm looking for a way to update the values of data fields in a merged document with a script just as you can do with the user interface.
I don't find any method like "updateDataFields ()" in the DataMerge object.
Si I try to invoke the menu action "Update Data Fields", but it fails. The script error message is: "Error 53762, the script is not active." On the contrary, the action works if I use the interface.
Can anyone help me?

Help with Updating Data Fields in Merged Document

I'm working in InDesign CS5 v7
I have a multipage report, all using one master page for about 80 seperate records. Each page has their own linked graphs/images.
We now have need to alter the source data, and while these alterations can be seen in 'Preview mode' on the Master Page, they are not carrying through into the pages themselves. No amount of 'Update Data Source' clinking changes this, and the 'Update Content Data Fields' remains greyed out...
I really don't want to have to remerge the whole document, as I will loose all of the linked graphs and images.
Can anyone help?

after some searching I've discovered that once I'm creating next line for accounting document it is not working properly.
When I debug the BAPI in SE37 after inserting new line it is asking for GL account input, however if I run it using VBA and delete the account from the code, the return message is not giving me any error that GL account is missing.

Need to automatically display update date and user in update form field

Hi all,
Hopefully someone can help me with this... I am using dreamweaver cs4 and php/mysql. I have a database table that will be updated by 1-5 different people at random times. I have everything set up and working, as far as the update function, delete function, add new, etc. In my update form the last two fields are Last Updated and Last Updated By. There are fields in the table called 'last_updated' (formatted in PHPmyadmin as timestamp) and 'last_updated_by'. But how do I get them to update on their own? Right now it is showing the first entry into the field which I did in the PHPmyadmin table, but it is not updating automatically. It would be a nice field to have so that we know who has worked on the table and when it was last updated, without the user manually typing that in, which I am sure they would forget to do. By the way, users will login to this with a username and password before editing the records.
This is the code for the last row in the update form with those two fields. It is pulling the fields from the database table, but they do not update automatically...

Error while updating data using session and call transaction method

Hi all,
    i have to update data using MM01 transaction from flat file to database.i have used both session method and call transaction method to do that.in both the methods data has been transferred from internal tables to screens but while updating the data that is by clicking the ok-code at the end of the transaction iam getting a dialogue box stating
   SAP EXPRESS DOCUMENT "UPDATE WAS TERMINATED" RECEIVED FROM AUTHOR "SAP".
please tell whether the problem lies and solution for that.

Express Document "update was terminated" received from author in MIGO

Hi All,
We are getting the below error message at the time of goods receipt at receving plant for STO OBD delivery, when user trying to post the GR, then GR number created and when they try to open the number , then they get this error message.

When we went in to SM13 and saw that everything is fine , there was no message in red.
Erro details showing the s032 update error with Internal session terminated with a runtime error DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR.
Short text
SQL error "-413" when accessing table "S032".
What happened?
Error Text of the Database: "SQL0413N Overflow occurred during numeric data type conversion. SQLSTATE=22003 row=1"
Please help to solve this issue ASAP.

This is probably an overflow of a field on the infostructure S032.
Please check this table for this material and plant combination and observe if there is any field with a high value.
As a workaround, you may deactivate the updating of S032 via OMO9 to "no updating" to avoid the dump.

FMBBC Express document " Update was terminated error"

while saving data FMBBC i am getting saved message , after that if i come out of the Tcode i am getting message as
Express document " update was terminated".I was debugging the standard code found that the error comes from SXOP table entry, This table is get filled from FM SO_EXPRESS_FLAG_SET. But this FM is called from background I think. There is no job also created.After displaying the message automatically the SXOP table entry is get deleted. I want to debug this FM or wht is the reason for displaying message.

1. GO to SM13 transaction.
2. Check your update request.

Extracting updated data from SAP R/3 to BOBJ DS

Hi all,
I have a doubt reg extracting updated data from SAP to BOBJ DS. For example i am extracting 50000 records from SAP table to BOBJ DS say its taking half an hour, after extracting data 10 more records have added in the same table. Do we need extract the whole record again or do we have some other way to extract only those 10 records from table.
Please help me. I have searched in forums but cudnt find the exact solution fyi.

Apart from stepd 1,2, you need to create a Target Data store and a table to load your MARA data.
3. Now the MARA data will be available in data store(DS_ERP), say table name as BO_MARA
Why do you want to change the table name? Are you planning to stage the data anywhere?
4. Create a dataflow source as BO_MARA, query transform and destination as a table
Data transport object is required if you are using R/3 Data Flow.
This would suffice just for a full load, if all your transformations can be incorporated inside the Query transform.
5. Do Transformation.
6. Transformed data will be available in target table.
Only after executing the job that the transformed "data" will be available in the target.
The above part mentions only about a Source, Query transform, Source Data Store and table.
Apart from these
You would require a Script object to write the condition, to SELECT the MAX timestamps. You would require Variables to be created in your job to redirect your job path and to restrict the data extracted.
Use your DataFlow in a Conditional object. If load type is first, in the then part use the dataflow which you might have already designed. Else part will have a replicated Data Flow with the above mentioned WHERE condtion in Query transform.
Suggest you to refer Desiger document and DI supplement for SAP as well. Inform if you are stuck.

How to get new and updated data into LO Excel in Xcelsius

Dear Experts,
I have created dashboard on top of webi report by using Live-Office connection. Latest data of webi report is imported into excel and mapped data with components and generated SWF file and exported into server.
To day my webi report has latest instance with new and updated data. But until unless by clicking "Refresh All Objects" i am not getting updated data into excel.
When i am trying to open dashboard in BI Launch Pad/CMC it is showing data whatever exist in excel(i.e yesterday data). But here we need to show data of latest instance of webi report.(i.e New and updated data as of now).
I have selected option "Latest instance: From latest instance scheduled by" in "refresh options".
My Question & Doubts:
1) Is it mandatory to open dashboard every day and need to click on "Refresh All Objects" to get updated data into excel or dashboard.
2) Is there any option to automate this process.

Hi,
Schedule the webi report to get the latest data from the source. To answer your query no is doesn't require to open the dashboard every time to refresh the excel to get the latest data.
Please use the Refresh Before Components are Loaded: Select this option to refresh the data each time the model loads and to use that data as the initial data for the model (using a Reset Button component, it will reset the data to the values from the last time the model was loaded).
You are using the Live Office so here automatic refresh is not possible without touch the swf file, you need to use the refresh but to get the latest data. If you are using QAAWS, Web Service & XML then automatic refresh is possible.

BADI for MIGO update - Data not getting saved in table sometimes

This is regarding automatic update of material document number to our Z Table for Gate entry in MM.
Steps for Generating GR throu2019 MIGO:-
1) the user has to key in the gate entry number and plant,
2) then after giving i/p values the user has to click the save button,
3) MIGO number is generated by the system which is updated in gate entry header table.
For updating the MIGO number BADI is used . But some time the system is not updating the GR number in gate entry header table.
Can we use COMMIT WORK statement in BADI? Hope its not advisable to use it.
What else can we do if data is not getting stored in table while updating throu2019 BADI?

This is regarding automatic update of material document number to our Z Table for Gate entry in MM.
Steps for Generating GR throu2019 MIGO:-
1) the user has to key in the gate entry number and plant,
2) then after giving i/p values the user has to click the save button,
3) MIGO number is generated by the system which is updated in gate entry header table.
For updating the MIGO number BADI is used . But some time the system is not updating the GR number in gate entry header table.
Can we use COMMIT WORK statement in BADI? Hope its not advisable to use it.
What else can we do if data is not getting stored in table while updating throu2019 BADI?
Inside the Method : IF_EX_MB_MIGO_BADI~POST_DOCUMENT the below code is written,

Reset documents and data in yosemite

How does one reset data & documents in iCloud under Yosemite? I've used this support document (https://support.apple.com/kb/PH14669?)viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US) under Mavericks, and the directions worked. But under Yosemite, all I see is a dialog box that says (paraphrasing) "click here to sign out of iCloud on all browsers." The button to "reset" is gone.
Any help appreciated.

That is what is supposed to happen when you reset documents and data, it indicates that there is some difference between the two sets of contacts.

Getting "Express Document Update was terminated" while creating BP..

HI All
I am creating Business Partner using HR Pernr using following BAPI's.
1. BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA - To create BP.
2. BUPA_ADDRESS_ADD - To create address..
3. BUPA_ROLE_ADD_2 - To create role.
4. BUPR_RELATIONSHIP_CREATE - To create relationship.
5. BUPA_BANKDETAIL_ADD - To create acounts.
6. BUPA_STATUS_ADD - To create status.
BP is creating fine...along with I am getting the Error like "Express Document update was terminated received from author ......" . Error descriptin looks like below.
Error Info... CD 328: DUPREC:POS&BUPA_ADR&DP00243572.
I have verified in SM13 T code...It is showing in BUPA_ADR_WRITE_DOCUMENT.
Please suggest me how we can resolve this issue...

Hi Rama Krishna,
This can also happen when your number ranges are incorrectly defined.
Try checking number range assignment for BP and check in table if number already exist.
We faced similar problem when migrated data from prod server and someone change the number ranges for PO.

Why is my "Documents and Data" section taking up so much space on my iPhone?

Before I updated my iPhone to iOS7, my "Other" section was giant, taking up over 4 GB! After I updated, the section split into "Other" and "Documents and Data". My "Other" section is under control now, but my "Documents and Data" section has over 3 GB, and I can't figure out why. I deleted many, many texts and it hardly changed the usage in this section. I've searched all over Google and Apple and can't seem to find a solution.
I don't even know what this space is used for. What falls under the usage of "Documents and Data"?
And how can I minimize this usage?!

According to Apple at the time to the iOS launch, it was confirmed that the iOS 8 in iPhone 6 will consume maximum 3GB of space.
So its actually the iOS 8 and the system files that has been categorized in the OTHER section using 2.83GB of space.

REMOVE Documents and Data... HOW!?

No, seriously... HOW.
I have tried every **** thing I could find via a google search, and I've read countless threads with countless "well, it worked for me" stories. Nothing is fixing it. I have done everything except a master reset. I have gone to icloud.com and reset D&D, I have done it through my Mac system preferences, I have managed icloud settings via my iphone, I've erased all texts and emails. Heck I deleted an email account on my phone! Nothing changed. NOTHING.
I still have 2.7GB being taken up by D&D. My iPhone4 is only 16GB, and the majority of my space (~8 or 9GB) goes to music. According to my icloud usage, I have 5GB of 5GB. I've turned off icloud and deleted the account off my phone, and deleted apps where I could. It's gotten really frustrating that I can't take a photo or update my phone with out deleting photos or music first, (I know, I know... first world problems). I only have about 30 photos on my phone, too. No videos. No voice memos, no voice mails... I just don't want to do a master reset and lose everything since I read somewhere that if you do a backup, it'll just slap the D&D right back on there. It would just be really sweet to get those 2.7GB back, but I feel like it is a lost cause since there is no real answer. I know apple support just posted a how to about a week ago for this, but I tried both methods. I tried restarting my phone. I tried backing it up again. I tried syncing it. Nothing.
Is anyone just as frustrated as I am?! And is there ANYONE that has a solid answer?

Documents & Data contains... well, documents and data that are being stored/used by the apps on your phone. The only way to get rid of it is to delete the documents/data from the apps that are storing it there or delete the apps that are doing so entirely.
If you go to Settings>General>Usage, you can see exactly how much space each app on your phone is using. If you tap on the individual app you will see details of how much each is using in documents & data.
