Does DBMS_CHANGE_NOTIFICATION package needs additional cost/charge?
We have a Oracle licence, it would probably a enterprise licence, in such case, does DBMS_CHANGE_NOTIFICATION package needs additional cost/charge?
I don't think you need a separate license for this. You can always check from bellow link if your feature (option) needs to be licensed separately.

My screen cracked, does apple care or warrant cover the costs?
Yes, unless the damage occurred due to an accident. In other words the warranty is applicable only if the crack occurred due to a manufacturing defect.

How does SCCM download the packages in the CCMCACHE area?
What is the default behavior for SCCM downloading packages into the SCCM ccmcache area?
Here's what we're seeing when installing a package on a "clean" test machine:
A subfolder is created in the ccmcache area (typically named 1, 2, 3, ... a, b, c, etc.)
A temp subfolder is created in the ccmcache area as well. Named the same as the package cache folder created above with .tmp added. Now I have a, and a.tmp folders for example.
The package starts to download into the "a" subfolder, but not how I would expect.
First, all of the folder structure in the package is created in the ccmcache area. The foldernames are correct. There are no files yet. This can take 10-15 minutes. All I have is a directory structure.
Next filenames start showing up in the subfolders. However, they are all zero sized files, and they have temp filenames, not the real filenames. Again this takes 10-15 minutes.
Next the zero sized files begin to download content. This is the actual downloading of the files. They still have temp filenames. (The package I'm working with is 4.3 Gig).
After the file content has completed the download, all of the temp filenames are renamed to their original file names. Again this takes about 10-15 minutes.
After all this, the software installation actually starts. The SW installs in 17-19 minutes.
Is this the expected behavior? Why not just DL everything in a typical method like you'd see with a copy, xcopy, or robocopy type command?
Any help is away appreciated.
Background:
I only work on creating the SW packages, not on administration of the SCCM tool itself, so I'm not familiar with how the SCCM delivery method is actually setup.
SCCM 2012
Working on a development server, so the package is not available to all yet.
Test machine is a typcial Win7 x64 VM.
The package is primarily a drag and drop application. 4.3 Gig in size.
The files in the package are not compressed.
Virus scanning is disabled for the ccmcache directory.
I just switched to packaging w/ the SCCM tool, so please forgive my ignorance with the tool at this time. The major reason for asking is that the download of the actual file content doesn't start until 30 minutes have passed. 30 minutes to create a directory structure with zero size tmp files is an excessive amount of time. Once the files have been
downloaded, it takes another 15 minutes to rename the files. Again, this is an excessive amount of time.
I almost think it would be faster to exclude the files altogether from the package, and just have the package include a simple install script that robocopies the files from the network. I'd just need to test whether the network copy would be slower
than the additional 45 minutes the BITS download is taking.
I'm just one of the packaging folks, so I'm not familiar with how many distribution servers we have or where they're located. I package engineering tools which can be in the 4 to 12+ Gig range.
I'm done testing the package, so for now, we'll just tell the users to install the software right before they leave for the day; it'll be there when they get in the next day.
Thank you for your replies.

Error while doing MR11 as enter Profitability segmet as Cost object
Hi All,
While doing MR11, we noticed a error message (ZC - 001) as "Enter Profitability segment as Cost object for Revenue and COGS posting".
The specified Material account is created as Cost element (CE Category 11) and in OKB9 configuration this cost element is choosed (ticked) with the option "profitability segment". Also there is no substitution rule to derive profitability segment in OBBH substitutions.
However there is a validation (GGB0), where the above specified Material account is included in the range of accounts in the Prerequisite, and Check as "Profitability segment is > (greater than) 0000000001 and with the message maintained as "Enter Profitability segment as Cost object for Revenue and COGS posting".
Can any please help why this error has come at the earliest.
Thanks & Regards
KarunHi Eli,
Thank you very much for reply.
I hope the note 184987 is not applicable in our case as the Field status of specified Material account does not have required entry for Profitability segment.
Can you please let me know if we have entry in OKB9 and existance of entry in Validation creates the problem and throws the above error message?
With regard to other note 134484 which you have specified on "error in Account assignment check in MM transactions" says "A detailed default account assignment (for example profitability segment) was defined in Transaction OKB9. However, the profitability segment is not set up correctly for goods movements: the characteristics material, plant, business area are missing. A later check of the profitability segments against material, plant and business area then generates an error message since the profitability segment is inconsistent".
Is there any way to confirm whether this situation is leading to our error before implementing this note.
Thanks & Regards

Why does InDesign sometimes NOT package fonts?
Hi. I'm using the latest version of InDesign and lately, when I package files, I've noticed that the 'document fonts' folder is not always created in the finished packaged folder. There seems to be no pattern to when it does or does not include them. For instance, on one job it did include them, then on the same job when the artwork had been updated, it did not. Same typefaces etc. Any ideas?
Okay. So you do not have the latest version but you do have the most recent patch for CS5. I know there were some issues with Type 1 fonts but I’ve heard nothing about issues with Opentype or TrueType especially on Windows.
Sorry, but I really don’t what to tell you.

[RESOLVED] How does pacman handle empty package directories?
I started to ask this question after noticing that on a fresh arch64 install, I can't mount usb, because /media does not exist. This directory belongs to core/filesystem. After running pacman -Qk, it also turned out that extra/hicolor-icon-theme lacks some empty dirs:

warning: ca-certificates: /etc/ca-certificates/update.d/ (No such file or directory)
ca-certificates: 163 total files, 2 missing file(s)
Notice, that the two sets of missing dirs in hicolor-icon-theme are different between two installations. The problem is that on the first installation ca-certificates is OK So, it appears that pacman randomly ignores empty directories in packages.
There was a timely thread at pacman-dev (http://mailman.archlinux.org/pipermail/ … 12554.html), where a similar issue was reported, but without any conclusion...
Any ideas? Thanks

Several folk had the same problem after upgrading to KDE 4.6; no one seemed sure precisely what the culprit is. I'm gonna try and reproduce this and check for/file a bug report. You may have maimed two birds with one stone, Leonid.I
If you mean hal, then at some point, it creates a data file /media/.hal-mtab, which on old installations (that went through a lot of ext media mounts), saves the dir, even if hal is removed. Of course, a separate question is why does hal contain /media. But otherwise, Allan is right: there is no natural good way of fixing this pacman behavior.

I looked on the apple store and all it showed was new iPhone 4 and iPhone 3gs 8GB, not 16 or 32.. how much does iPhone 3g and 3gs cost for the 16 gigabite version?
Apple no longer sells the iPhone 3G, and the 3GS is only available new in 8GB.

[4.0 EA2] - Shift + F4 does not open the package specifications
Hi,
I tried opening the package specifications by clicking on the package name in a worksheet and then doing a Shift+F4 but it did not work.
This used to work on 4.0.0.12.27. Is this a bug?

Captive runtime -target bundle does not create the package fails after creating a .tmp folder
Hi Adobe Team, Experts,
I cannot create a captive runtime package successfully on windows.
This is the command I am using to create a captive runtime package for windows
adt -package -keystore CodeSigning.pfx -storetype pkcs12 -storepass password -target bundle TestPackage Test-app.xml Test.swf
The issue is the above command creates a .tmp directory "adt5072057577475387637.tmp" but does not create a directory by name "TestPackage" .
Another observation is the above command works in-consistently it seems to create the directory sometimes but fails for the most.
Funny enough !! It worked when I was creating a POC but now when I am trying to release it stops working on me.
It is the same machine I did POC on.
The application descriptor has
<supportedProfiles>desktop extendedDesktop</supportedProfiles>
I have also tried
adt -package -keystore CodeSigning.pfx -storetype pkcs12 -storepass password -target bundle TestPackage.exe Test-app.xml Test.swf
as mentioned here - http://www.riaspace.com/2011/08/bundling-air-3-runtime-in-air-desktop-applications/
Flex SDK version - 4.6.0
AIR SDK version - 3.1
JDK version - jdk1.6.0_18
Please advise as to how to fix this issue.
Thanks,

did you ever find a solution to this? I'm running into the same problem with no apparent solution.

JD3 Compiler does not report invalid package import
Hi
JD3
JDK 1.2.2
When compiling this class:
import java.util_error.*;
public class ImportBug extends Object {
public ImportBug() {
Vector v=new Vector();
I get this compiler error:
Class Vector not found in class ImportBug
While a more appropriate message will be to report that the
import package does not exists (or empty) and point to the wrong
import line.
But even more important then that is in case the import line is
correct but the package is not in the classpath (a very common
problem) the error you get is that "Vector" is not found while
you need to get that the "java.util.*" not found.

Restart deployment (.ear) does not load optional package
Hello everybody,
In our 10.3.5 WLS domains, we are using optional packages for sharing libraries between applications see [http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24329_01/web.1211/e24368/libraries.htm|Creating Shared Java EE Libraries and Optional Packages]
The problem is that if I redeploy the library I have to redeploy the deployment. This issue only happens with the applications packaged as *.ear*. If the application has been deployed as a .war, with restarting the deployment is enough.
Would be possible to load the referenced library from an *.ear* just restarting the deployment?
Thanks in advance,
