Does Apex 4.1 / 4.2 supports Oracle BI PublisherDesktop version 11.1.1.6 ?

Hi Apex Experts,
Does Apex 4.2 release (apex.oraclecorp.com) is compatible with Oracle BI PublisherDesktop to version :11.1.1.6 ?
Old version of Oracle BI PublisherDesktop (it was 10.some thing) was working fine till last week, but currently its showing a macro settings error after a recent windows security update and this issue was not solvable with removal of *.EXD files, which was discussed in some BI forums.
Could anybody points me which is the exact Oracle BI PublisherDesktop publisher, is recommended with Apex 4.2 ?

Thanks!

Hi,
As far as I know, the version of BI Publisher on apex servers is 10.1.3.4. So if you are using BI Publisher 11g desktop to create the report templates, make sure that you check the "Backward Compatible" option in BI Publisher -> Options -> Build.
Thanks,

  • Does EM 12.1.0.3 support Oracle DB 12c as managed target and repository database?

    Oracle released EM cloud control 12.1.0.3 last week.  The certification matrix on My Oracle Support does not list Oracle database 12c as a supported managed target or repository database.  Is the cert matrix wrong, or does Oracle have no version of cloud control that supports the 12c database?
    Thanks

    Oracle database 12c is supported as a managed target - but not as repository. MOS is being updated to reflect this shortly.

  • Is OAM 10.1.4.2  not support oracle db server version 10.2.0.1 ?

    Identity and Common Administration Guide tell me about that
    But in my company project I must use OAM 10.1.4.2 and oracle db server version 10.2.0.1 for store auditing
    Is there any patch or solution to solve my problem ?
    Please let me know.

    Hi Vinod,
    Thanks for the infromation.
    This patch 5957301 is only showing the release details. Where to download the web component.
    Also I have one doubt can I directly run the below patch to upgrade, as I have installed OAM 10.1.4.0.1 for Web component(webpass,webgate and policy manager). or only upgrade the webgate OAM 10.1.4.2. Identity and Access Server installed version 10.1.4.3.
    Below are web component which I have downloaded.
    Oracle_Access_Manager10_1_4_2_0_BP11_Patch_linux_OHS2_WebPass
    Oracle_Access_Manager10_1_4_2_0_BP11_Patch_linux_OHS2_WebGate
    Oracle_Access_Manager10_1_4_2_0_BP11_Patch_linux_OHS2_PolicyManager
    Or before that I have to installed the OAM 10.1.4.2 and after that I will run the above patches.
    Please suggest me how to proceed

  • PI 7.0 SP 11 support oracle cursor ?

    Hi
    Does PI 7.0 SP 11 support oracle cursor ? Because i need to send multiple rows data to oracle store procedure.
    Where do i have to search about the information how to call oracle store procedure with ref cursor input
    Regards
    Fernand

    Thank you Raj,
    I manage to calling store procedure with normal input (single), but then still got problem to supply data to store proc with input CURSOR.
    Base on link that you send me, i get this line out
    "CURSOR (output; only in conjunction with the Oracle JDBC driver)." is it meaning that JDBC adapter does not support CURSOR for input ? even SP 11 ?
    This is my sample oracle store procedure :
    CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE DB2_PAYSLIP IS
    CURSOR c_details IS SELECT '' in_nogaji
              , '' in_jenis
              , '' in_no
              , '' in_deskripsi
              , '' in_jumlah
         FROM DUAL;
    TYPE ct_details  IS REF CURSOR RETURN c_details%ROWTYPE;
    END;
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE proc_ins_payslip(in_cur IN OUT db2_payslip.ct_details) IS
    v_in db2_payslip.c_details%ROWTYPE;
    BEGIN
          LOOP
                FETCH in_cur INTO v_in;
               INSERT INTO PAYSLIP_DETAIL VALUES(v_in.in_nogaji,v_in.in_jenis,v_in.in_no,v_in.in_deskripsi,v_in.in_jumlah);
               EXIT WHEN in_cur%NOTFOUND;
          END LOOP;
          CLOSE in_cur;
          COMMIT;
    END;

  • Does Nokia Pc Suite 6.8 support N07 mini

    Does Nokia Pc Suite 6.8 support N07 mini

    The new version has updated the Music Manager but has changed some important features like being able to see how big the selected music files are. This is definately needed.
    Better support for automatically converting MP3's to AAC which is a space saver for memory.
    One problem I am having is that once you initially connect the phone it installs both pc suite support and sms support to the handset, however, this only happens on the initial connection. Any idea of they will make these support sis files separate if one wants to use more than one handset with PC Suite?

  • Does the oracle golden gate version 11.1.1.1.2 support oracle 12C database ?

    Hi experts,
    Currently in our environment we are having Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.5.0 - 64bit DB which is replicated via oracle golden gate version 11.1.1.1.2. As per the application team requirement we need to migrate this database to 12C.
    Can any one help me on the below queries
    Does the oracle golden gate version 11.1.1.1.2 support oracle 12c database ?
    Are there any syntax changes in oracle goldengate versions which needs to be taken care in extract or replicat parameter files ?
    Thanks,
    Mushraff Shaik

    Hi,
    >>Does the oracle golden gate version 11.1.1.1.2 support oracle 12c database ?
    Why do you think it will not support 12c database ?
    From a Golden Gate perspective you need to create schema and use that.  As you are moving to 12c database, ideally you should think of upgrading Golden Gate 11.1 to 12c so you can use new feature such as Multi Threaded replicate etc..

  • SQL Developer does not support Oracle 8i

    Hi,
    I was waiting a tool from Oracle like SQL Developer for a long time, finally it came, but I am a little disapointed, so Why SQL Developer does not support Oracle 8i? Other free tools like SQUIRREL can do it. I also have worked in previous projects using PL/SQL Developer and it works fine...Why a native Oracle tool can not do it?
    I am in a project where we have to upgrade the Oracle database to a newer version, but I cannot have access to the old one...
    I know there are some threads in this forum, and some people can work with 8i with no issues. Can anyone who works with SQL Developer and Oracle 8i please tell me how to do it?
    Thanks,

    That's what I thought, the issue is more commercial ($$$) than technical. Anyway...I downloaded the version 1.1 but now I am getting an ORA-02248: invalid option for ALTER SESSION error. 00604. 00000 "error occurred at recursive SQL level %s".
    Thanks,

  • Does NFS support Oracle RAC with TAF ?

    Hi,
    Does NFS support Oracle RAC with TAF feature. ?
    If yes, please point to some valid document to prove the same.
    Regards
    Sumit

    TAF has nothing to do with the underlying storage architecture and is therefore 'supported' with your choice of asm, raw devices, cluster file system and NFS. NFS is supported on some platforms. For more details, check the certify tab in metalink. Some information can also be found here
    TAF will be available on any rac installation, but not all drivers support it (jdbc-thin for example)

    Yes, you have to specify it as java.sql.Types.OTHER and use the

  • Does Oracle Lite support Oracle Spatial

    Does anybody know whether Oracle Lite or Personal Oracle supports the Oracle Spatial plug-in. Also, for extra credit does anybody know what the difference between Personal Oracle and Oracle Lite is?
    We will be needing to provide some attribute and spatial data from our Oracle Enterprise database to several laptops for field personnel using an electronic map we developed. We would like to use a portable version of Oracle that supports Oracle Spatial objects.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Dan

    oh, I didn't realize it was so limited. No, that won't do. We're looking for a "mini" version of the real production database including stored code, triggers etc. Should be scaled down enough to allow rapid syncing of data and schema changes from the production (or really QA) database, but full enough to include the objects necessary to allow the developers to test their code changes to the front end applicaiton on their own environment.

  • How many sessions does apex supports?

    Greetings !
    I had an requirement of creating web portal for a university having round about 100,000 students.
    Does apex supports 100,000 sessions or users to create and connecting almost the same time ?

    100,000 students won't do a request (leading to a database session) all at exactly the same time - although you will have peak hours.
    And APEX doesn't support the sessions, it is your webserver that should handle the number of requests. That's a matter of sizing/parametrizing your server.
    And the number of requests can be influenced by the way your APEX pages are build. For instance, a lot of Ajax features leads to more requests...
    And your database should be able to handle the number of sessions : a matter of sizing and setting parameters to the right level (and having physical enough memory).
    And the number of sessions a database can handle can be influenced by the way your program your SQL and PL/SQL. "Wrong" (as in : bad performing) code will be more noticable when more users execute that shitty piece of code.
    FYI : http://campusit.net/ uses APEX for a similar number of students. (Not affiliated in any way with CampusIT)
