Why does my ipad show pictures that look like a negative?

Looking for a theme that looks like the default theme.

I'm looking for a theme that looks exactly like the default theme, but that doesn't use the colours of my gnome theme. Right now I'm using a dark gnome theme that looks great, but looks horrible with firefox. Anybody got any suggestions?
Alternatively, is there another way to make firefox ignore my gtk theme?

So, yeah. Is there a way to modify the Stickies program to make it look like it does in the widget, like an actual sticky note? Sorry if this seems off topic. This was the best section of the forum I could find for it. Any help help would be much appreciated.

Also for the record I verified disk permission, fixed them and also ran the repair disk from with the normal OS as well as restarting into the utility mode.
And the volume appears regardless of the account type. I logged into another account just to see if it was only on my user and it shows up there too. When I boot into OSX it only shows up about 5-10 seconds after I get to the desktop.

They have good quality, they load quickly, But what I am most curious about is the fact that I never have problems watching them full screen.
Technical specifications and tricks would help a lot. What kind of file format is used? Dimensions, encoding, etc.

Can I make a calendar that works like the "Birthday Calendar" that updates for something like an anniversary?

I would like to have a calendar called Anniversaries that updates like Birthdays. Is there a way to do this? I like the way it shows the age of the person and would like it to show the number of anniversaries. This would be most helpful for many types of anniversaries. I have it now as a birthday but it is somewhat cumbersome and would seem to work better as a separate calendar.

Here's what I've done which may work for others. I've scrapped the idea of using the birthday reminders function. Instead, I created a new calendar (click the settings icon in the upper right of the icloud website) called "Birthdays-Non Contact". Then I entered the missing bdays as all day events (repeating every year) on this calendar. So now all my birthdays show on my main calendar....some come from the birthday field in the contacts database and the rest come from my newly created "Birthdays-Non Contact" calendar events.
Interestingly, if I choose to show only my "Birthdays-Non Contact" calendar, all my contact birthdays appear on it as well, so it gives a complete list of all my birthdays and nothing else....cool.
I should say, everything I'm talking about is what I see on the ICloud site. My husband has the phone at the moment which I presume will show the same picture.

You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden, so you need to hide the Menu bar via View > Toolbars, also accessible via Firefox > Options.<br />
If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press F10 or hold down the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily.<br />
You can place the Tab Bar on top.

Looks Like the Premiere Fora Just Got a Shakeup!

Man, teach me to go to sleep. Went to the old Pr forum, and saw a bunch of CS4 posts there. Dutifully went about pointing them to the PrPro forum, ONLY to find out that the Pr Forum (Older versions prior to PrPro.... ) is not the "Pr/Pro prior to CS5 forum." Wow, did not know that was coming, but guess I can see some of the reasons for it.
Had to go back and eat a bunch of directions, but that's life. I know that some of those posters wonder what I have been drinking.

I do hope that newer posters will take that block to heart. Many of us have done all that we can to extract necessary info, in the post, especially the initial post, but it's often not until 25 replies that we even get the version of PrPro.
Now if we can add a new sub-forum, "So, you have the trial version... ?" No - just kidding. Hey, if everyone knew of the limitation of the trial, I'd only have 50 posts and 15 points!
So far, your Fiat seems to be running nicely. Much better in fact that my old Alpha, or my XKE. Must be doing something correctly.
As for the FAQ's, Steve Grisetti MOD, and contributor to the PrE forum, has a very nice sub-forum. Unfortunately, no one ever looks there first. When working on the PrE forum, I usually have the FAQ and the Tips & Tricks sub-fora open in tabs, and just copy the links - over and over. It's rather like the old Read_Me files on installation discs. You know the ones that told the user how to actually install the programs - the one that no one ever read?
Going back to the intro of CS4, one great contributor here, Eddie Lotter, did a great job with the PrPro-Wiki, and many of us worked to keep the info flowing. I still link to it very often, but without Eddies hard work and direction, I'm not sure of its future. The biggest complaint that I had was with the Wiki was the Search function. In many cases, I find it easier to just read down the list of FAQ entries, until I find what I want.
Please keep up the good work.
BTW - can you sweep up the Lounge, and turn off the light, before you leave?

Hi! I would like to print out some manuals from the apple developer site for personal use, but I would also like to add more material to it. It would be nice to have all the pages the same style. Has someone a pages template for it?

The manual is a pdf so you can "tear off" a page or more from the pdf in Preview and drag those into Pages as a guide to copy the layout.
You may also be able to use Preview to copy and paste sample text to find the fonts etc. Can't confirm the formatting will come across as I am currently on a PC.

How to create a version that looks like the "quick preview" image?

Is there a way to easily create a version that is similar in appearance (mostly apparent as saturation)to what is seen when hitting the P key and viewing the "quick preview"? I shoot raw (Canon .cr2) and find that for many of my shots, the "quick preview" would be a nice starting point, and often a fine end-result, for saturation. Any hints welcomed. Thanks. Fred

Thanks for your comments and I certainly agree with your suggestions. I was hoping that there was something that I was overlooking that would essentially work like a "lift/stamp" and let me find settings that were embedded in the camera generated jpg. I know that you know your way around Aperture, so if you don't have a trick up your sleeve, I think it's probably not to be found.

I have a thick grey bar that has suddenly appeared at the top of my viewing screen below the navigation bar. it has a symbol that looks like the add-on tool

The symbol in the middle of the bar is a box with an arrow in it and two small round cylinders on top.
If I right click on the bar and inspect element it returns object#SCB_Bar Then if I copy inner HTML element it gives me this info.
