Does firefox 6.02 support Norton Indentity safe?

Does Firefox 6.02 support Norton Indentity safe?
This is a part of Norton Internet Security 2012.
I do not want to update as the last time I updated Firefox it was not compatible with the new version. From 3.5 to 4.0

Norton has a compatibility patch for Firefox 6.

  • Does Firefox 6.0 support Norton Identity Safe?

I am running FF 5.0 and have been asked to update to 6.0. Does FF 6.0 support Norton Identity Safe?
If it does not, I will not update.

Listing the actual LINK to the patch, instead of the topic being discussed would be extremely helpful, since finding that LINK for the patch is impossible!

  • Why does Firefox 4 not support Norton Passcards?

Downloaded Firefox 4 and find this does not support Norton status bar. This means I cannot use Norton Passcards whereas these always worked with previous version. If I revert to version 3 will the Passcards work again? If not I will have to uninstall Firefox and revert to Internet Explorer.

Symantec have made an update for their add-ons to work in Firefox 4, but they only listed them as compatible with Firefox 4.0, they need to update them to let them work in Firefox 4.0.1. • Will Firefox 6.0 support Norton Identity Safe now? If not now, when?

I lost Norton Identity Safe when I upgraded to Firefox 5.0. I don't want to upgrade to 6.0 until I know it will support this plug-in. I DO NOT like Last Pass plug-in; every time I use it I get the error message that I am not on line and I know I am.

If identity safe, part of Norton 360, doesn't work with the new version I do not want to waste my time with it.

  • Does Firefox for mobile support xul?

Does Firefox for mobile support xul file? If not, can I build Firefox to support this on mobile? Where is the build instruction?

Firefox mobile uses XUL and you can use that along with CSS and JavaScript to create extensions. However since Firefox 4 you cannot load XUL from a website. https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Using_Remote_XUL

  • Does Firefox 7.0 support Symantec (Norton) Identity Safe?

The Firefox 6.X does not support the Norton Identity Safe, does the new 7.0 support it? In order to keep using Firefox I reverted back to an earlier version - I use Identity Safe all of the time so it is absolutely needed.

A Norton compatibility patch for Firefox 7.0 is available as of 09-27-2011. <br />

  • Upgraded to Firefox 4.0, and Norton Identity Safe quit working. How do I fix?

Norton Identity Safe won't work with Firefox 4.0

I just got off chat with Norton Tech support. A hot fix by the end of the week or early next week is on the way! It will be in the auto update. I went back to the previous version just because of this topic.

  • Does Firefox 26.0 support Chromecast in lieu of Chrome?

I'd prefer not to install Google Chrome for use with Chromecast. Is there a plug-in that supports Chromecast functions for Firefox on Win7?

    @moborisn
"[...] but not one word about [...]"
It does and it doesn't. Look for "Mirror Your Full Desktop". That's another way to say "screen your whole desktop", the first part of your quoted text, and that includes "and use Firefox". What the feature doesn't exactly allow is "instead of Chrome".
You still need to install Chrome, at present. There's no way around that until someone develops an extension/plugin/whatever for Firefox. But once you start Chrome and mirror the whole screen, you can use Firefox for all your "real work" -- no need to use Chrome for anything other than starting the screen casting.
(This website <http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17967442/convert-google-chrome-extension-to-firefox> says that a conversion should be possible for a programmer. A website called extensionfactory has been touted in places, but its conversion pages seem to be gone when I checked just now. It inspired me to look for other efforts, but I haven't found any.)

  • Does Firefox Mobile even support user styles?

    Hi there,
I am desperately trying to find a solution for this.
I want to create a user style for a website because it looks like a mess on mobile browsers. I've already done this on my desktop browser, then uploaded it to userstyles.org.
Now I tried to install Stylish on my mobile Firefox (10.0.5 and the new Beta Firefox 14.0b6 I think). While this already didn't work perfectly (probably not supported, but I thought mobile and desktop FF's are starting to merge?), I managed to install it somehow. Now I still can't install a userstyle because it won't detect the addon (I changed the user agent to something desktop-ish). I also tried it with a greasemonkey script, but I'm also stuck there.
    ..Help?

    Hey tibi,
Unfortunately, there isn't currently a Stylish add-on available for Firefox for Mobile, and the Stylish add-on for Firefox for Desktop won't work with Mobile.
In future, though, there may be an add-on, and you should occasionally check out the [https://addons.mozilla.org/mobile/ Mobile Add-ons site] to see if there is one. However, doing a quick search I found a forum thread from this time last year, with the author of the Stylish add-on stating that making a mobile version was "not at the top" of his list of things to do. [http://forum.userstyles.org/discussion/27145/stylish-for-firefox-mobile/p1 Here's the forum thread, if you're interested.]
So, to answer your question, currently, no, Firefox for Mobile doesn't support user styles. (As far as I'm aware, if anyone wants to correct me on this please go ahead :)

  • Does Firefox disable my current Norton Internet Security?

If Firefox is the security software for Google Chrome, what happened to my current security software, Norton Internet Security 2011, for my Windows default browser, Bing? How do I enable Norton Internet Security 2011 for Google Chrome?

One other note. Firefox allows two situations in which some or all toolbars may be hidden:
    * Full Screen Mode. The F11 key switches between normal view and full screen view.
    * Script-generated windows. Sometimes when you click a link you launch a window that does not have all of the features of a normal window. This allows sites to present a simplified display, more like a dialog box. If this happens, pressing Ctrl+n should always open a normal window with the full complement of controls.

  • Does Firefox 3.5 support only some ICC profiles (AdobeRGB, sRGB, e.g.) or all ICC profiles in color management?

I put one image embedded with a ICC profile with D65 as white point, and the same image embedded with another ICC profile but with D50 as white point (the 'chad' matrix in the profile is different as well, given different white point for two profiles). When these two images (of same RGB values) but with different ICC profiles embedded are displayed side-by-side in Firefox, difference in color should be noticed between two images if color management is available in Firefox (color management is turned on in about:config). However, I did not see any difference.
I tried using the same image but embedded one with sRGB profile, and the other with AdobeRGB profile. Now I can see the difference.
So my question is whether Firefox can only recognize a certain number of ICC profiles but not all of them.
    Thanks.

<blockquote>Caveats: The new QCMS color management system introduced in Firefox 3.5 currently only supports ICC version 2 color profiles, not version 4.
