Does the plug-in Know the classpath?
I have an aplication using classes which are not in the jdk (1.3.1_01). These classes are in a jar file in a directory and this directory is pointed by the classpath. Of course the application works fine.
If I convert this program to a JApplet, the plug-in doesn't find my classes, as I'm told from the Java Console.
So, where should I put my jar file in order to be seen by the plug-in?

ok. Thanks. Now I still have a little problem. I installed the plug-in, but it seems that the "SYSTEM" is not informed about it, so when I try to execute the first applet, someone tries to install again the plug-in and we get two plug-ins installed with different names. As the two plug-ins were installed in the same place you only can unistall one.
How can I tell the SYSTEM that the plug-in is already installed?

When I want to build an application there is a "!" mark before the application and for the Installer, in the Project Explorer under Build Specification.
When I ask for "explain warning" I got the message "The plug-in for the selected item is not installed on your system"
Previously it worked well, whats happend?? (during my holyday's )
Thanks for help, HuubWell, something obviously changed. Install any software and/or hardware recently? Using any hardware in your LabVIEW project? Could be the drivers for that hardware got corrupted. Try identifying what you're using and reinstall the drivers.

How does find my iPad know the location?
My iPad only has wifi. At my home, find my iPad will not find the location. At my son's house, find my iPad works. my son says it is because find my iPad uses the ip address to find the location; his cable provider supplies the location of the ip address while mine does not.
is he correct?
Further, iPad maps works at my house. It looks to met at iPad maps uses GPS, wifi, and a compass to fine the location. Why doesn't find my iPad use similar technology?

A lot of people wonder where the name "Apple Computer" came from, as it is a rather unusal name for a computer company.
Steve Jobs came up with the name in early 1976. At the time, he was often visiting and working on a small farm friends of his owned. It was a hippie commune where Steve spent a few months of the year.
When he returned from one of those stays, he told Steve Wozniak about his idea. Jobs probably was working on apple plantages. Or he just wanted their startup to be in front of Atari in the phone book. Or it was a tribute to Apple Records, the music label of the Beatles.
Whatever the true origin of the name was, Woz knew instantly that they were going to be in trouble with Apple Records sooner or later. But as they were unable find a name that sounded better than Apple Computer, the name was chosen.
Woz's worries turned out to be justified. Apple Computer, Inc. was sued by Apple Records over trademark violations in 1989. (for more on this see below)
The Apple logo
The first Apple logo was designed by Ron Wayne, co-founder of Apple Computer. It was rather a picture than a logo. It showed Sir Isaac Newton sitting beneath the famous Apple tree thinking about gravity.
It was only used for the Apple I. Steve Jobs felt that it was too intellectual and it was almost impossible to put on computers as one could only recognize the details of the drawing when it was large enough.
Therefore, in 1977 Jobs asked the art designer Rob Janoff to design the new Apple logo. The new logo had a simple shape of an Apple, bitten into, with the colors of the rainbow in the wrong order. The bite symbolized knowlegde (in the bible the apple was the fruit of the tree of knowledge) and the bite could also be pronounced "byte", a reference to computer technology.
When Jean Louis Gassée was asked about his thoughts to the Apple logo he answered: "One of the deep mysteries to me is our logo, the symbol of **** and knowledge, bitten into, all crossed with the colors of the rainbow in the wrong order. You couldn't dream of a more appropriate logo: ****, knowledge, hope, and anarchy."
In 1997, Steve Jobs decided to drop the multi-colored Apple logo and replace it by a solid-colored logo. The first Apple computers to feature the new logo were the new PowerBook G3s in 1998 (although they still featured both types of logos).

You have the display set in Extended Desktop mode with the MacBook as the main screen. The Menu Bar and Dock will be on the MacBook display and your background screen on the TV but you can move the cursor onto the TV screen.
In System Preferences>Display on the MacBook screen there should be an Arrangement tab when you have the MacBook hooked up to the TV and both screens working. When you click the Arrangement tab do you see two monitors side by side? One of them will have a Menu Bar at the top. Just click on the Menu Bar and drag it to the second monitor. That will make the second monitor your main screen.
The TV will now have the Dock and Menu Bar and windows will open on it. But you can move the cursor to the MacBook screen and move windows from the TV over to the MacBook screen.
You can now use your MacBook in Clamshell Mode with a wired or Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3131 When you disconnect from the TV your Menu Bar will automatically change back to the MacBook.
Or if you want to work on the MacBook screen while showing it on a TV you can check the Mirror Display box on the lower left hand side of the Arrangement tab under the two monitors box. That will give you the same screen at the same resolution on both the MacBook and the external monitor. -
The older version with the vulnerability warning is listed under the plug-in update tool along with the newest version. The warning directs me to the Java site for installing the latest version. Which I did, and made sure (both using the Windows XP sp3 "add or remove programs," and the java.com "uninstall older versions" tool). Yet. the older "vulnerable" version still remains in the plugins list. I even tried "disabling" the older version, but it simply disabled both versions. Is the newest version (7 U25), actually safe, even if I can get rid of the older version? The thing is, I don't know for sure if some of the sites that I need to visit have to use Java or not. Like banking. And if I have to completely uninstall Firefox, how do I retain all my settings, passwords, bookmarks, and so forth?

cor-el to the rescue. You wouldn't be related to the renowned Kryptonian "Jor-el" would you (Superman's father)? Being as how your answer was super fast, and like a "hammer of steel," hit the evil nail right on the head.
Anyway, the link you supplied led to a quick and easy solution. The answer being in the "Manually uninstalling a plugin" section. Which allowed me to quick and easily find the offending ".dll" file, and put it behind bars where it belonged. Or, more precisely, place an "x" in front of the .dll name for the outdated java version, and now it no longer appears in the plug-in list. The new version is now correctly the only one reported.

Earlier when I went to access my truecrypt password encrypted volume, it showed that it was empty, and it contained 0 files. I never deleted the files and I am the only person with the password.
I suspect it may be because (1) I tried making a password protected folder on disk utility or (2) tried to setup time machine and didn't quite work.
My question is: is it possible to recover the files, if so, how can I recover the files. I've tried manually powering the computer off, restarting the computer, reinstalling truecrpt.

So there is now known way to archive your Goal.
I can imaging that you can archive this Goal with a Powershelgl Script, but would be not this easy

my phone is locked, I tried to hard boot, nothing is working. I have the i tunes logo on the screen with the plug showing, but I can not get away from the screen, what do I do?
Same thing happened to me last week had to update than said some sort of error so it told me to restore I did that and it said restore couldnt be completed !! So I called my service provider and I had to press the circle button and the power button and hold for 15 seconds while still plugged in to the comp , than to try and restore and than update !! And it worked !! Hope that helps!!

right, which is a column... so no, I don't think you can get the table name from that... Maybe from ResultSet itself... I'd have to look at the API docs to be sure, and I'm sure you can do that just as easily.
But as I said, you have a ResultSet, that must've come from a query, which must've had the table name(s) in it... -

I have an hp dv2940se. I installed windows 7 but I have no sound. There's the red "x" on the volume
