Dom search words

Hi need help gettin a target passed as a parameter with an attribute named 'matchword' who's value must be the target and must be added to each matching work.
For example if target is 'tion' matching="tion" should be added to to the entry of a word called position and transition.
So basically i need a java dom to take a paramater target from the command line and then need it need to serialize the tree as xml and output it to standard output in java.
Could someone help me please?

ok, I try first approach in print4.vi, but Labview return an error (view jpg); if I cut From, To controls, the VI print all pages. The same things happen also if I trasform I32 in Variant.
I don't try second approach, because at this time I have only one report
I try also with VB macro: this is better (print3.vi) but.....if I use:
Sub Print_Pages_From_To()
ActiveDocument.ActiveWindow.PrintOut Range:=wdPrintFromTo, From:="2", To:="3"

is ok; print the pages selected; if I use:
Sub PrintPages()

Searching word docs with verity - strange problem

I am searching word documents using cfsearch. These documents
are basically forms.
Some of the fields such as name etc. are with back fill
enable for user input. So if I search the names in this field with
back fill I get 0 records.
If it's a plain text it's can be searched.
Can anyone please help!

How to highlight searched words in pdf file opens from web??

Hello fellows
I need to create a web page that holds couple controls include "search" button .When client clicks on the button the programm will search pdf file, open it in client reader with highlight on searched words ..
Is that any posibility to do it using javascript on a client or c# ,vb.net on the server ??
I'm very novice in PDF developing so any ideas or conclusions would be very usefull!

When I use adobe Ifilter for moss and set in querystring #search="searchword" I get highlights, but only in a browser.
But if a reader was configured to open client application this feature wasn't work.
Any suggestion ???

How to Search word in PDF?

I am developing windows application, which will accept PDF file path as input.
Users are allowed to search for the specific word in the PDF and replace with new word.
I don't have any idea on this. So can any one help me to start with.
how can i search word in PDF and edit the PDF file.

PDF is a not a format that enables replacement of textual content, since it doesn't reflow. You need to discuss with the person that gave you the job how difficult/impossible that it is.

Is this normal? I really don't remember it taking so long when I bought it, but it has been this way for awhile. I have closed all open apps many times to no avail. I just reset all settings and still 5 seconds. I don't have a lot on my iPad with plenty of free space available. Also, I have to click twice on many things that typically take one click. Like it highlights it with first click, then second click completes the action that normally would be done in one click, like Facebook like button. Like will underline with click one, then will change to like on second click. Do I need to try to restore from my computer?

Ive tried that but when Im logged in I dont have all the permmisions I should have so it just runs the test for my usernames own little virtual world. Ive been using macs for over a decade now and I have never had my computer do anything like this. while sitting in front of my screen I watched the mouse go to some personal files and change the permissions and then covered their tracks by changing the timestamp on the file dates back. I watched it happpen while all internet conections were off. I had my identity stolen, my facebook password changed, my email accounts closed out. and my firmware password changed all within two weeks of the origninal boot date

How to tell web host no meta tags or search words please?

Meta tags are placed in the HTML. Your webhost has nothing to do with the content that you place on their servers, other than making it available to the world.
Look in files you created with Dreamweaver and see if you added any meta information, it would look something like this:
<meta name="typeOfMetaTagHere" content="The Actual meta info here">
If you don't see anything that starts with <meta... then you don't have any meta information on the page.

does not work.
SY-SUBRC = 4 and
SY-FDPOS = 0.
even if the provided string is 'abc.123'.
Is there an alternative way to search for a DOT '.' ?

Hi,
Use FIND statement,
or if you want to replace '.' then Use statement REPLACE ALL OCCURANCES OF .
If you want to split at '.' then use SPLIT statement.

Report for Searched words

Hi,
I've a requirement where in I need to create a report displaying all the words/phrases end-users searched while visiting our Portal site (using Portal's standard Search Portlet). Can anyone please point me to the table/view where this information is stored in Portal. I am using Portal 3.0.9.8.2.

Thanks for the reply. I looked into that table (WWSBR_USER_SEARCHES) but there's nothing in there. I need to create report for the frequently searched words/phrases.

Highlight Search Words in Interactive Report

I have been searching and searching for days for a solution to highlight the search words in the IR. I was thinking to grab the search field value and do a global replace in the report region, but it looks like the search report is generated by javascripts. I really appreciate if anyone can help me out..thanks

Next create 2 x dynamic actions:
1. Before Region Refresh run JS

I type my search words, hit enter and then the search words get deleted so no search is performed what to do?

I open Firefox and then put in the words I wanted to search for. I hit enter and the search words disappeared. I repeated it several times using a variety of search words. Same thing. Restarted the computer, reset Firefox. Still not performing searches.

hello StewartFloyd, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...

Can safari highlight a Google search word?

I am trying to find out if Safari can assist me when I am directed to a website by Google to find the search words in the content of the webpage. Some webpages are very long and I cannot find where on the page the item I am searching for is.

You could use Apple+F keyboard shortcut.... then enter the text you're looking for. Use Apple+G to find the next instance.
You could click on 'cached' just below the page description on google's results list - This will usually bring you a 'snapshot' of the page from when google found it, with your search terms highlighted.
I imagine that there are Safari 'add-ons' or 'plug-ins' that may also do what you want.

Need suggestion for searching words in a document

Is there any option to search the words in a document, where I want to make a user designed words or phrases saved itself in a PDF docment. For e.g I need to search the data with words like Salary, Compensation, Remuneration, etc in an annual report (PDF Version). For which I need to type these words hundreds of times everyday. So if I have a option to upload these words in the adobe reader itself it will save most of my time. please help me with ur opinions and suggestions.

Create PDF in Word, cannot search word document thereafter.

v9.3.1 of Adobe Acrobat.
System: Win2k8 SP2
CPU: x86
When I convert a Word document to a .pdf file with the Adobe Acrobat Office add-in function "Create PDF" I can not search the Word document thereafter. In order to be able to search I will have to close and open the document again.
- Updating is not an option.
- This is verified to be an issue for several users
Does anyone have experience with this.

FYI - the transparent PNG is 300 dpi and sized at 45% in the Word doc.
