2)installed oracle 10g oracleasinfra(10.1.2.0.2)
3) installed oracle 10g oracleasmidtier(10.1.2.0.2)
4) installed oracle AS adpter(10.1.2.0.2)
Now i need to download files for siebel... i dont have access to metalink so i went edelivery.oracle.com website

  • How to Integrate Oracle Access Manager 11g with Siebel Call Center 7.8

    I need to change the DB authentication to SSO for Siebel Call Center 7.8. I just found a document about integrationg OAM 10g with Siebel 7 (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28196_01/idmanage.1014/b25347/siebel.htm#Siebel). However, because it's mandatory to use OAM 11g, I don't know whether this doc is suitable for Siebel 7.8. In addition, is it the right way to configure Siebel SSO? I know, in this way, I need to install WebGate. Please give me some expertise. Thanks.

    This should work as long as your web server and operating system support 11g. There may be some differences in how to set up OAM and the WebGate in 11g versus 10g (that is not my area of expertise), but from the Siebel side the integration is the same. You would pass in the user's Siebel ID (pulled from the LDAP directory) as an HTTP header. Then you just need to tweak a few of the parameters in Siebel:
    For the Security Adapter Profile (LDAPSecAdpt most likely) you are using, set:
    SingleSignOn = True
    TrustToken = HELLO (or whatever value you choose)
    In eapps.cfg or eapps_sia.cfg in the virtual directory section for the specific application object manager (e.g. [sales_enu]) set:
    UserSpec = SIEBEL_USER (or whatever HTTP header name you set up in OAM)
    UserSpecSource = HEADER
    SingleSignOn = TRUE
    TrustToken = HELLO (or whatever value you selected for the Security Adapter profile TrustToken parameter)
    ProtectedVirtualDirectory = /sales_enu
    The protected virtual directory will normally be the same as the virtual directory (in this example /sales_enu) unless you are using customer facing applications with anonymous browsing capabilities (for example a catalog that goes to a shopping cart at some point in the process).
    Also in the [SWE] section of the eapps.cfg file the IntegratedDomainAuth parameter should be set to False.
    Hope this information is helpful.
    Best regards,
    Stevan

  • Oracle Applications Adapter responds with error in the API call

    Hi,
    I am using SOA suite 10.1.3.5.
    I have configured the Oracle Applications Adapter to call the payable open import interface (APXIIMPT) concurrent program.
    I am passing two mandatory parameters Source and BatchName to it.
    Before that i have also correctly inserted data into AP_INVOICES_INTERFACE and AP_LINES_INVOICE_INTERFACE tables.
    The invoice is getting created from the oracle apps 11i instance if i try from the front end but my BPEL OA adapter is responding with
    following error :-
    <REQUEST_ID>0
    </REQUEST_ID>
    <RETURN_CODE>2
    </RETURN_CODE>
    <RETURN_MESSAGE>
    Cannot find application information for short name
    Cannot find rows while selecting for application short name .
    Check if the application short name is valid. Contact your System Administrator.
    </RETURN_MESSAGE>
    Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.
    With Regards,
    Harshwardhan Ghugare

    You are getting customized error as a SOAP Fault from PeopleSoft application.
    Regarding 3 responses, your send port might have retry count = 3 set in your send port. Hence you are getting 3 faults on each request you are making.
    Now coming to the actual issue, when something goes wrong and you got fault message response, you need to deal with it. Means your orchestration send port will have "Response" and "Fault" response and you will deal with these messages respectively.
    You need to assign MessageTypes for Response and Fault accordingly.
    If you have done all above and still getting an error, check this
    hotfix 978156 which is applicable in case of 2k6R2 and 2009 biztalk versions and happens while dealing with cross object conversion (datetime)

  • Oracle Access Manager integration with Siebel issue

    Currently facing a technical issue with integrating OAM with Siebel. Attached below are some details.
    1. Trying to protect the .html file through OAM.
    2. Created Application Domain, User identity store as AD
    3. Enabled the 10gWebgate Agent as OAM agent
    4.Created Host Identifier
    5.Created own Authentication Scheme for AD
    6.Created Protected Resource Policy and configured Authentication Scheme.
    We are unable to protect the resource : ResOpNotProtected error is seen.
    Thanks in Advance

    Have you provided all the hostname and port combinations in the Host Identifier?
    What have you configured as Preferred Host in webgate configuration? What is configured in the Host Identifier?

  • Oracle SFTP adapter Configuration for BPEL  process (11.1.1.3 )

    Hi All,
    Can someone tell me how to configure the FTP adapter for window's server.
    We already have a bpel process with FTP adapter but it is set up for unix server , we want to change the location to window's server.
    Can any one provide me with what changes need to be made at the ftp adapter level in jdeveloper and also on the weblogic console for the existing bpel process .
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks a lot!
    Will follow the steps as mentioned in the link: SOA / BPM on Oracle Fusion Middleware: SOA Suite 11g - FTP Adapter
    I am confused about the path mentioned while configuring the adapter in jdev Physical path for windows  should be the ftp server path provided by client and it should begin with  \winserver\local    and not like \\winserver\local  ???
    +
    The configuration needs to be done on the weblogic console also as mentioned in the above link so for this FTP server - login details - host ,username /password , serverType is required.

  • Oracle OVD: adapter configuration - restrict bind by memberOf

    Hi, thanks for reading!
    I'm getting started with an Identity Management project whose first phase will involve OVD. One of the project's identity sources is ActiveDirectory. I've experimented with creating an adapter in OVD which connects to an AD source and uses the changeUserRDN plugin to convert an input of a sAMAccountName to the CN. I can authenticate to MSAD through this adapter with an ldap client - great stuff.
    I'd like to refine this a bit so a bind is only possible if an authenticating user is a memberof a certain group. Here's a little more detail - when I search the MSAD using an ldapsearch like:
    [me@localhost ~]# ldapsearch -x -h adhost -p -389 -b "OU=Domain Users,DC=TEST_DC" -D "CN=privuser\,,OU=Domain Users,DC=TEST_DC" -w [password] "memberOf=CN=Rec Center,CN=Users,DC=TEST_DC"ldapsearch will return entries from members of the Rec Center group (memberOf: CN=Rec Center,CN=Users,DC=TEST_DC). What I'd like is to send a bind request to OVD at a Base DN that this adapter recognizes and have binds succeed only for users who are a member of the Rec Center group.
    Is there an adapter mapping, plugin, filter, or other configuration that I should use to make that bind operation happen only for members of a specific group?
    Thanks!

    Hey friend,
    You are absolutely right. The issue is with DNS.
    Without specifying DNS in the entry, it is able to validate the Active Directory.
    Now, how can i resolve DNS issue in my system. Can you help me to sort out in solving this issue.
    Thanks in Advance,

  • JDBC Sender/Receiver Adapter Configuration with key fields in SAP XI

    Hi All,
    Good evening.
    Please let me know, what are the settings required for key fields when configuring both sender and receiver Adapter?
    In My IDOC-XI-File Scenario, when i am sending an IDOC from R/3, I got Mapping Runtime exception error? So, How to send the same IDOC after correcting the error?
    Thanks to all in advance.
    Regards,
    Nagarjuna.

    HI Nagarjuna,
    If my understanding is correct, When you trigger the Idoc from R/3 it thrown the error in XI.
    If  you want to send the same Idoc then go to WE19 in R/3 system enter the same Idoc number and execute the scenaio. It send the Idoc to XI system, but the message number will change.

  • DB Adapter configuration with Informix DB

    Hello everyone,
    I have setup a Informix datasource on Weblogic 10.3.6 by selecting weblogic's informix XA driver. I've a BPEL which invokes DB adapter with a pure SQL query (a little complicated query). But its throwing following exception while testing:
    Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'getDetailsFromDB' failed due to: DBWriteInteractionSpec Execute Failed Exception.
    unknown failed. Descriptor name: [unknown].
    Caused by java.sql.SQLException: Cannot call Connection.commit in distributed transaction.  Transaction Manager will commit the resource manager when the distributed transaction is committed..
    Please see the logs for the full DBAdapter logging output prior to this exception.  This exception is considered retriable, likely due to a communication failure.  To classify it as non-retriable instead add property nonRetriableErrorCodes with value "0" to your deployment descriptor (i.e. weblogic-ra.xml).  To auto retry a retriable fault set these composite.xml properties for this invoke".
    I've also made sure to have platformClassName as 'org.eclipse.persistence.platform.database.InformixPlatform' under the settings for javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory  in DbAdapter under deployments.
    Can anyone throw some light as to what is going wrong here?
    Thanks
    Jahangir

    Actually, it was my mistake. I created XA data source but i provided the name in non XA data source field in the JNDI.
    Thanks

  • Sender Mail adapter configuration with attachment

    Hi,
    I read the below blog regarding the mail adapter
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/12/18/xi-sender-mail-adapter--payloadswapbean--step-by-step
    I have the same requirement but the attachment file is not an XML, it is CSV file so in the module tab if I change like below is it enough?
    TRANSFORM    swap.keyValue  attachment; filename=u201DMailAttachment-1.csvu201D     (I think MailAttachment-1 is the file name, am I correct?)
    If I change like above is it ok? or any other thing is required, Could you please give me the inputs
    Thanks
    Ramesh

    I have the same requirement but the attachment file is not an XML, it is CSV file so in the module tab if I change like below is
    it enough?
    PayloadSwapBean will ensure that the input to the mapping is from the attachment.....in the blog the attachment is in XML format and hence there was no need for any conversion.....yours is however a CSV file so you need to convert it to XML first and then do the further processing.....you can either use the MessageTransformationBean as shown in this blog:
    /people/gabrielsagayaselvam.panneerselvam/blog/2009/08/31/solve-key-field-problem-using-structplain2xml-in-messagetransformationbean
    Or write your own module code for the conversion.

    Hi,
    Did you follow the how-to guide available at SAP Marketplace to deploy the JMS Adapter. If so, i believe the information given in that guide is incomplete.
    Once you have installed the JMS Driver, you must deploy the Java libraries on the J2EE server so that the JMS adapter can access the required Java classes at runtime.
    If you use MQSeries 53x.xxx, you must enter the following JAR files in aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda.
    com.ibm.mq.jar
    com.ibm.mqbind.jar
    com.ibm.mqjms.jar
    connector.jar (use the JAR file from the J2EE client directory)
    and if ur question is, "Where do I get the Java Library from "
    The required Java libraries are product-specific and can be obtained from either the product vendor or other providers.
    And i guess the 4 jar files should be enough. Just remember to add these 4 jar files to 'provider.xml' file inbetween the <jars>..</jars> tag.
    Follow the instructions as per the guide,
    https://websmp205.sap-ag.de/~sapdownload/011000358700003994312004E/HowTo_ConfigExtAdapters.pdf
    But just remember to have all the 4 jar files in aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda

    I have created a data-source(jdbc/testds) and connection pool which connects to apps schema in Weblogic console.

In the Outbound Connection Pools table i expand "javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory" and then click New and select "javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory", click Next and give JNDI name "eis/apps/testds"
    But when i try to execute my BPEL process that has a reference eis/apps/testds it throws a JCA binding error. Can someone please guide me on how to create a Apps adapter connection. Also i would like to know how to refresh the connection pool(we used to have this facility in Oracle Application Server).
    Thanks,

    Can you once check the OA adapter check box in deployments and click update?
