Hello, How can I download preset actions in photoshop elements 7? I bought this actions, very expensive and now I cannot downloaded them.
Somebody can Help me?

You may be having problems because there's a hidden folder in that file path. You'll have to "show hidden files and folders" in folder options to be able to follow the file path Tarun gives you in step #2.
Edit: The file path on Vista is a little different than XP which is the path Tarun gave. On Vista, it's C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\7.0\Locale\en_US\Workflow Panels\actions

Once you have show hidden files and folders turned on, just follow the file path Tarun gives.
On the mediadatabase.db3 step you can rename it something different if you feel uncomfortable deleting it. From what I understand, it might take around 10 minutes after you start Elements again to rebuild the effects palette.
I would advise you once you are done installing your new actions to go back and check "do not show hidden files and folders".

Actually, the servlet's code for download is like this :

The client can see a popup dialog box asking him to save the file on disk or open it or cancel. In case of save action, file is downloaded but I don't know when this action finished. Is there any event to catch or something else that inform about the end of downloading action ( I have to refresh the display with a new JSP ) ?

Propably to correct way would be to use HTTP-headers to indicate the length of the file, so actual application download is possible also through other clients, rather than the specific one, so you could do:
response.setHeader("Content-length",l_ByteArrayOutputStream.toByteArray().length);I'm not really sure if servlets do this automatically, they really should though, but I'm hazy on their implementation and you might want to check the HTTP specification on whether or not the length of the headers should be included in the Content-length field, as it might be required to.

How do i add a download action for dxf files. firefox assumes its a text file and just opens it with no download action dialog box

I want to add a download action for dxf files so they open in Autodesk trueview. The steps described here (http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing%20file%20types#w_adding-download-actions) say to click on a link for the filetype you want to add an action to but firefox thinks the dxf is a text file and just opens it in a new tab with no download action dialog box.

Use the right-click context menu and choose "Save Link As" or hold down the alt key and left-click the link.

But whenever the data is more than 200 kb or so it is failing and i am getting empty file. i have downloaded files of 156kb size or so...

Is possible to save the user that uses the download action in an interactive report.

Hi Eva,
As far as I know there is not an out of the box option that shows you the user that is downloading the interactive report. I guess you would have to write your own logic for that.
You can create your own logging table and a dynamic action with
1) a pl/sql procedure to insert the logging into the table, and
2) submits the page with the appropriate download format, eg. f?p=&APP_ID.:&APP_PAGE_ID.:&SESSION_ID.:CSV::::
As trigger of the dynamic action you need to use either of the download buttons, so I'd suggest the jQuery selector "#apexir_dl*"

Default download action doesn't work

Downloading files for a particular type no longer prompts me for action, but simply saves the file. The application is set to "always ask" in Options, and in desperation I have now changed all applications so that none of them are set to save a file. Can't see anything in about:config or about:plugins, and am at a loss where else to look, Incidentally, I have tried changing the action to something else without any difference in behaviour - it just seems to be ignoring the options setting.

Solved it myself by editing the MimeTypes.RFD file. For reference, I removed the tag urn:mimetype:application/force-download. Can't find any documentation for this, but took a guess that this might be the source of the problem. Seems to be a bug that this can't be changed by normal means

so it seems that struts forward in oracle have to be only text/html files
but i don't wanto to go tio another page, just download a file on the same page
after some control in my action.

Hi,
I have done everything as mentioned by various web sites to develop a pdk-struts form, my java code compiles, the jsps compiles everything compiles correctly, and the portal shows up.
I also put a HTML form in it.
When a I deploy I can see and work with the HTML form but the portal is not recogniziing the pdk-struts tags, though I made the pdk-struts-html.tld part of the WEB-INF/ yet it wont show up the pdk-struts form.
Any help regarding this will be highly appreciated.

Can't download actions in CS6

I bought action files in two differents stores and I'm enable to download them in my Photoshop CS6. When I click on the files, an old trial version of Photoshop Element 11 open. And in the load action in Photoshop, I'm enable to click on.

For a Mac, highlight one action (.atn) file in the folder.
Cmd i for the Info window
Under "Open with" choose Photoshop CS6 and click on "Change all" button right below it.
This will work for any file that you want to open with a certain program.
That said, if Photoshop CS6 opens the action, it should be there.
You can try scrolling down in the actions panel or
Use the panel menu (upper right side of the panel) and choose "Button Mode". It reduces the actions a button list and it may show up there.

Where to I place downloaded .action and .app files

Where do I place the automator action .action and .app files I download for installation. I noticed some load themselves auto into Automator whereas other need to be manually placed in a folder somewhere?

For actions, you can use Automator to install them. There is an option in it's File menu for that.
Apps saved with Automator are self contained and can be used from anywhere, as long as that meets the conditions you imposed on actions in the workflow itself. For example, if you set an action to depend on a specific location, then it would likely matter.

Call Usage download .ACTION file

I downloaded my call usage using the "Download to spreadsheet" link on the website and it downloaded the file with a .ACTION file type. Does anyone know what program you would use to open this file type?

I saved the action file, then opened it, when windows asked me what application to use I selected Excel. It opened just fine.

Installing downloaded actions.

I was wondering how to install these actions that are downloaded from the apple website. They basically are a folder on my desktop right now, is there some method of installing them or moving them to automator?
