Download basket approval list problem

hello
my problem is my maintaince optimizer on solman is working fine it shows the file in download basket ,
the problem is it will not show the file of approval list  so i am not been able to approve the files selected by me.
help anyone

Normally there will not be an issue for approving  if your maintanance optimizer is configured fine with the SUSER ID which has relevant authorization. I would suggest you to go through https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/docs/DOC-11236 for the correct procedures .

    Hope this is a simple one, but how do I tell Solution Manager which (or who's) Download basket to approve.
    I've install SolMan 7.0 EhP1 and am looking for updated SP's. I've created a new Minatenance Transaction, found and selected the desired SP's and am now trying to approve the files in my download basket. But SolMan is looking at the other Basis Team members download basket.
    So my question is how do I approve the SP's in my DOwnload basket?

    Hi Ken
    You can have as many userid's as you want in AISUSER. Normally this table is filled with Userid's who will send messages to SAP via Service Desk and will use the Maintenance Optimizer.
    Secondly the S user associated with the userid should be linked to the customer ( client in your case ) number. It should have authorizations to download Software from the Marketplace. You cannot use a S userid from a consulting company with the client as it will not match with the authorizations needed.

  • Clear approval list in download basket

    Hi All,
    I have a situation in the process of up gradation
    using mopz i  had choosed wrong level of sp stack so all my files are in approval list of the download basket.
    now i dont want them any more and request a new set of sp stack in upgrade process using mopz.
    is this possible for me to delete them manually, or raise a sap note so that they would do it for me.
    if i delete them ,will those files be available for me when ever i want them in any ways.
    again put them in download basket and then download when ever i want. i.e using new transaction.

    Hi,
    you can delete from the up button "delete".
    system must alllow you to download again, whenever required with new transaction.
    Again it goes to same download basket, use MOPZ to approve it, and use Download manager to download it in your desktop

    Hi,
    - ensure that your SAP Download Manager is the newest.
    - for SAP R/3, all patches, support package or installation package downloaded from service.sap.com will be automatically appear on SAP Download Manager
    - for SAP ERP2005 (ECC) some package needs to be approved via SAP Solution Manager - Maintenance Optimizer before this package appears on SAP Download Manager.

  • How to approve my netweaver2004s SP12 - placed in the download basket

    This is a question of how customers which is running there SAP systems
    in a closed network, should deal with the fact that they cant download
    the SAP software they need, without creating a message to XX-SER-SAPSMP-
    SDM asking to approve the ordered software in the customers download
    basket.
    As we don't have a Solution Manager System which can connect to SAP, we
    cant approve our selected downloads.
    I am just looking for a procedure to approve my selected downloads, as
    i think i in the future will be annoyed if i have to send a message
    each time i need to download software.
    Do i have to install a Solution Manger System outside my closed network ?
    and if how do it setup this SOLMAN system which cannot access my other SAP systems ?

    Hi Micheal,
    Unfortunately, you will need to install Solution Manager to approve your own downloads.  You don't have to install it outside your closed network, but you will need to install SAPROUTER.
    SAPROUTER will allow you to connect to SAP securely.  It's basically a port based firewall.  Documentation on SAPROUTER can be found:

    There is a very good document which provides step by step instructions on how to setup the maitenace optimizer (which is repsonsible for downloads). http://service.sap.com/solutionmanager -> Maintenance Optimizer -> Step by step guide.

  • Application on approved list won't open

    I am running a lab using the Mac OX Server (Leopard) and have had several problems with applications being on the "approved list" but not allowing the user to open them. iPhoto is one of them and the newest is a free program called TextWrangler. Students are logging in to their own hard drive, using the applications that are on the computer. These programs work when logged in to the computer, but not the server. A message always pops up saying the program is not on the approved list to contact the person who set it up. Can anyone help, please?

    Kimberly, there are a couple of things you can try.
    In Workgroup Manager, in your group preferences, under 'Applications' where you're managing what apps they can use, you can try adding the applications in question as if they were folders.
    So by this I mean, where you see the tabs Applications|Folders, select folders and where it says "Allow applications within these folders" click the plus icon and navigate to the application in question as if it were a folder.
    An application is basically a folder (there are a bunch of files inside it) but it doesn't behave like one when you double click it (instead it launches).
    Once you have saved your preferences it would be a good idea to delete the managed preferences on the client machine before testing again.
    These are located /Library/Managed Preferences/
    (note that that is the main "Library" folder at the root of the Macintosh HD not a users Library folder.)
    You can delete the whole "Managed Preferences" folder.
    This folder temporarily stores the settings that are being sent to the client by the server so that they don't have to be downloaded each time a user logs in, and you're deleting it to be sure your new settings are being downloaded.
    I have personally found that I 'do' need to sign my applications under some circumstances. Where are you using WorkGroup Manager? Are you using it on the server or are you using it on one of the client machines? If you're using WGM on the server to add applications, have you checked that the versions of the applications on the server are the same as on the client? Have you tried logging in as admin to one of the client machines, and using Workgroup Manger, adding the application directly from the client machine?

So I downloaded the latest iTunes , problem is it has found all my songs but seems to not recognize half of the album data, half of the artists, all of the dates and all ratings data.
    I had a large part of it backed up on DVD's but it does not want to recognise them either?
    Any tips?

    There are several ways to pass the value
    1> Putting the value in sesssion
    2> passing the value as page request parameter
    3> Using the View Object attribute -- I recommend the VO as I think same AM is used for the compelte flow i.e. from checkout to review approver list

  • Where does the approver list  fro sc get populated????

    Hello everyone,
      It will be really helpful , if some one can guide me.  i am using a copied (custom)version of ws10000031 for shopping cart approvals. the standard workflow is for two level approval. there is some problem with this custom workflow now. it is not identifying the rite agents . where should i look for to find out where the approver list is getting populated. I am unable to pinpoint a place where the agents are being identified. moreover for two level approvals, i cannot see the second approver name inthe cart status.
    also even after switching on the event trace , i cannot see any event getting triggered inthe trace but i c workitems generated.is this common??
    help would be appreciated.

    Thanks for ur reply, but i had already done those steps .as i said i am using a copied version of the wf so i have assigned it to an expression &agent_0001.agent& and &agent_0002.agent&. that is what is there in the standard workflow too. my problem is i want to know where this container element is getting populated, since i am going to modify this workflow, i need to know this information. i have tried many different approaches but still cannot find it. it will be great if u can tell me whether this happens in any BADi or it happens inthe bsp code or where ???
    or is it the adhoc agent assignment where this agent assignmetn is taking place?
    because i can see the approval list inthe approval preview inthe cart status screen. i am wondering where and when this apporoval list is being generated???

    Since there are too many contents in download basket, I am getting below message on service market place:
    Gateway Timeout
    The proxy server did not receive a timely response from the upstream server.

    and while trying to approve from solution manager it is taking more than one hour to approve content in download basket, so to speed up the approval process I want to cleanup download basket.
    please suggest me the alternate way for cleanup the contents.

    Hi Gokul,
    The other alternative you can try is: Install SAP Download manager on your dekstop (if you don't have it already), then once you configure the Download manager, it will show you your download basket. here you can select the item and then select "Object" - Remove from Download basket.

  • Requisition Approvals AME errors on Approval List Rebuild When an Employee

    We're using AME for requisition approvals which contains several dynamic approver groups.
    The problem is that the approval list can be large and depending on how long it takes the requisition to be approved a person who has already approved the requisition might be terminated in Oracle. The approval list rebuilds after each subsequent approval and errors at the point where the termed person falls in the list.
    How can we work around this? Is there a way to get AME to NOT rebuild the list once the approval is in process? Or is there a way to have it not look at stages of the approval list where approval has already happened?

    Hi All,
    We have found out the Problem for the above issue.
    The PREPARER_ID in the PO_REQUISITION_HEADERS_ALL table is coming as -1 which should not be. The user is linked to HR User and in FND_USER table we can see the employee id.
    Can someone suggest on this if we have miss something.

Im running Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0 on Vista 32 bit on an AMD 64 bit 3800+ dual processor with 4 gig ram and 120 gig free space. I have tried reinstalling. Thanks.

    In my Approver list when i click on dropdown and selected completed tasks it shows the following error is comming
    Unable to perform the request try agian and the problem persists ,inform your system administrator.

    In my portal we had a tab Approver list where the employee receives tasks,alerts,notifications pending requests to approve leave etc.It is similar to UWL. Inside it we had Tasks tab in that there is a show drop down where there are to values like New and in progress Tasks and Completed Tasks.Then i have selected Completed Tasks it is there in the dropdown like Completed Tasks(2) when i have selected it then on the the top it has given the explained error.I guess the system is not able to fetch the completed tasks.
    I guess now it is clear please let me know if you find the solution for it.
