  • CC Manager & Installation Errors

    I just bought CC full suite, barely managed to download Photoshop off the CC Manager. It took like an hour to download. Really slow - slower than dial up speeds. I've disabled firewalls, anti-virus software, etc. No dice. Now when I try to download any other programs, mostly Acrobat XI and Lightroom, they get to around 42-87% and then give me an installation error.
    I used to be able to click on "More Information" for the installation errors, but now it won't load that either. It just pops up a window that says: "Installation failed. Errors occurred during installation.(7)."
    I have a less-than-year old Vaio Ultrabook. My internet connection is great for everything else. Super frustrating. I hope I don't have to do some weird technical work to get around this. I'd think in this day and age it'd be a simple download and simple access to the apps.

    Moookers I would recommend reviewing the installation logs to determine why the installations are failing.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret the installation log files at Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html.  You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

  • Solution Manager Installation Error "SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.0 EHP 1"

    I am new to SAP and currently trying to install SOLMAN 7.0 EHP 1 on Windows Server 2008 R2. I have read the documentation also. For JDK I have used "j2sdkfb-1_4_2_24-rev-b06-windows-amd64.exe" which looks to be working fine.
    The installation process runs fine until it hits "Start Instance" the message on the bottom says "Starting instance xxx/DVEBMGSOO" (where xxx is my sid) and then its times out after 10 minute. After timing out I get the following error on the window.
    An error occurred while processing option SAP Solution Manager 7.0 EhP1 > SAP Systems > Oracle > Central System > Central System( Last error reported by the step: ABAP processes of instance ORC/DVEBMGS00 ABAP: UNKNOWN did not start after 10:00 minutes. Giving up.). You can now:
    Choose Retry to repeat the current step.
    Choose Log Files to get more information about the error.
    Stop the option and continue with it later.
    Log files are written to C:\Program Files/sapinst_instdir/SOLMAN/SYSTEM/ORA/CENTRAL/AS.
    Though the installation steps are not fully completed but I do see SAP management Console and when I open it I see two process running "msg_server.exe" & "igswd.exe" The process dispwork.EXE starts in the beginning and then stops and stays stopped. I tried restarting all the process again but only tow of them starts and the process "dispwork.EXE" starts but then stops again. I also did a NEW installation considering a file could have been corrupted or something else but the installation process stops and the same place. I am sure ppl have installed SOLMAN on windows 2008 R2 and this error seems common to me. Please assist. Any tips would be nice.

    Hi,
    Please check the below
    1) ip/host entries should be in /etc/hosts
    2) patch the latest kernel for 2008 R2
    and re run installation

  • Satellite P30-128: Power Management installation error code: 0x7E

    Hello, I formatted my notebook yesterday, and I couldn't install Power Management software correctly. When installation is complete, i get "Irrecoverable error. Program will be closed. Code: 0x7E"
    Can anyone help me please?

    Hi Simone
    In this forum you will find many topics about this power saver error. Try to use the advanced search.
    Generally this error occurs it the user doesn't use the Toshiba recovery CD but only the original Microsoft OS.
    But According to other topics there is no explicit solution.
    It's very important that you will install the Toshiba drivers in the right order.
    Check the installation instruction on the Toshiba driver page.

  • Campus Manager Installation Error

    Hi Everyone,
    I have issues with my campus manager and it seems that some files has been corrupted, so I uninstall campus manager and re-install it. However, during the installation of campus manager 5.2 I am getting these error message (please see attachment). I already stop daemon manager and other services but I am still getting the same problem. Do you have any suggestion on how to resolve this problem.
    Thanks.

    if you have let the installation pause in this state, do the following:
    open the Task Manager from windows and go to the "Process" tab;
    look for any sm_xxxx process  (e.g. sm_server.exe, sm_authority) right-click on the process and kill it;
    then go back to the installation screen and click on retry; the installation should proceed;

  • Identity Management Installation Error

    I have installed the following components on a Windows 2003 Server:
    RCU: ofm_rcu_win_11.1.1.2.0_disk1_1of1.zip (ran and installed ODS and OIF schemas)

    IDM: ofm_idm_win_11.1.1.2.0_32_disk1_1of1.zip

  • Content Management Installation Error

    Hello All,
    We have installed SAP EP 6.0 on WebAS 6.40 on windows server 2003. Now I am trying to install content mangement and collaboration. However it gives me the following error in step 1 of the process
    ERROR 2005-08-31 14:35:30
    MUT-03011  Execution of the command "C:\usr\sap/<sapsid>/JC00/j2ee/os_libs/jcmon.exe 'pf=C:\usr\sap\<sapsid>\SYS\profile/<sapsid>_JC00_<hostname>'" finished with return code 128. Output: snipped
    Can anyone help me out with this?
    Thanks

    Hi vijay,
    The error means the java instance is not up.
    Here are few things you could try.
    1. Manually startup the java instance to see whether instance is up.
    2. If not, check the following:
    a. whether you have installed TREX successfully
    b. increase the java heap size to 2G and restart installation.
    Don't forget the reward point if you find this helpful.
    Best Regards,

  • Download Manager Authentication Error

    I get this error message (no number).
    Is the authentication issue on my computer or on the download server?
    How do I fix this?
    Thanks.

    I am sorry thesoulartist but I don't understand the response provided for #1 and 2.  You can initiate a direct download of our software though by using the directions listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369.

  • Migrated Package/Deployment - Downloaded Package - Installation Error 1625

    Hello there
    We have kind of a weird problem after migration of Packages and Advertisements from SCCM 2007 to SCCM 2012 R2. If packages are configured like this:
    and Deployments have the following settings:
    If we have a couple of programs within a chaining and use different installation contexts within this chaining (SYSTEM an User) the installation will fail with Error 1625 on the user installation part.
    The error status message is:
    The program for deployment "A012015A" failed ("B0000C36" - "Program Name"). A failure exit code of 1625 was returned. User context: Domain\User
    For test purposes we changed the permissions  on the ccmcache to and gave the user read permissions. After this the installation finished with no error. Did anybody else encounter this problem? We have about 150 similar programs of this kind so this
    is a real issue for us. We don't want to execute programs from distributio point and we don't want to give a permanent read permission to users.
    Thank you!

    Hi,
    Have you checked the local computer policy? The link below might be helpful.

  • Download and Installation Error

    Everytime I try to download Adobe Reader it gets to 93% and then says Can't retrieve essential parameter (15229.305.1023)... what could the problem be? Thanks!

    A quick Google suggests that this only occurs for version 9 for Windows. As this forum is not about that version, I'd suggest trying the forum for Windows (and Mac) versions (link in a fairly recent off topic post) or simply do the Google search, which gave me a plausible solution in the first 10 hits.

  • Adobe Download Manager Empty

    Hi!
    As I try to install Flash Player, the Adobe Download Manager installs properly but when it launches itself, its empty. The only option is to close the download manager. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it but still does not work.
    This problem is with FF 3.6.10.
    With IE Flash works fine.
    Thanks in advance!
    -E

    Don't use the download manager, use the executable installer http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe (for Firefox).

  • CS4 and the EVIL Akamai Download Manager

    Hi, I purchased CS4 and am now unable to download the product!
    Can anybody help me? .....pleeeeeeeez
    I was able to download all the downloads except the 3.7GB main download.
    I have tried in Firefox 3, IE 6, IE 7, Opera.
    I have tried on 2 different computers.
    I have downloaded the latest Active X components and latest Java platforms for both IE and Firefox.
    I have enabled cookies, javascript, popus, ads.
    I have disabled all firefox plugins, firewalls and antivirus.
    I have checked with my ISP that I can in fact download such big files.
    I have successfully managed to download CS3 in the past.
    I have plenty of disk space and RAM.
    The error message I receive in Firefox reads as follows:
    Download Manager Fatal Error
    Could not find the requested file on the server.
    Contact the author of the page that contains the link. This download will be canceled.
    I have wasted so many hours this trying to get this to work. Also spent a long time on the online chat to support with no success. Trying to contact Adobe over the phone is impossible - whether I try in the morning or evening - the response is "office hours are 9am - 5pm" ...whenever that is!? Clearly its not referring to GMT or the USA time zone. Technical support via the website - well, will see if they ever respond to the case I opened there.
    Right now I'm really really hating this Akamai download manager. Anybody know how to get a NORMAL link to download so I can use my normal download manager?

    dont worry any more with cs5  its realy easy and realy high speeeeeeeed downloading and you can use your own download manager
    just visit
    https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop
    just click download
    or just put this two  link to you download manager or browser
    http://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/PHSP/12/win32/Photoshop_12_LS1.exe
    http://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/PHSP/12/win32/Photoshop_12_LS1.7z
    dont worry any more

  • Akamai Download Manager deleted...

    I deleted Akamai Download Manager after installing Premiere Elements 8. This has proved to be a big mistake! Later, when I tried to download the additional content, the download just hung. It appears that the Download Manager won't reload for whatever reason. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Direct HTTP download links are also now available in your store download area as "Alternate Download Method" right below the download manager links.
    This is enabled for the Flex version of the store and will be enable shortly for the HTML version of the store (for those users that don't have the latest Flash Player installed).
    If you want to clean out you download manager installation and start over, here are the cleanup steps depending on what browser you were using:
    Firefox Java applet version cleanup
    On Windows, Java applets are cached by JRE and are accessible through the Java or Java Plug-In Control Panel. To clear the cache and remove the Akamai Download Manager, do the following:
    Open the Java or Java Plug-In Control Panel.
    In the General or Cache tab, click View.
    (General tab only) In the Show: Combo box, select Resources.
    Delete files with the format dlm-java-****.jar.
    Clear history of any partially downloaded files:
    Delete the contents of folder below using the command prompt
    C:\Documents and Settings\<user profile>\Application Data\Download Manager
    Internet Explorer ActiveX version cleanup
    1. Delete all these files from "c:\windows\Downloaded Program files\
    DownloadManagerV2.inf, DownloadManagerV2.ocx, Manager.exe
    (please do this via command line available via the Start menu then Run, type 'cmd'
    2. Delete all the contents of this folder: C:\Documents and Settings\<user profile>\Application Data\Download Manager
    3. Clear out the browser cache and history

  • Error in creating Java Users during Solution Manager installation

    Hi gurus,
    First time trying to install SAP.
    Red Hat Linux 4
    Oracle
    jdk 1.4.2_11
    While installing the Solution Manager, it errored when it was creating Java Users, SAPJSF, J2EE_ADMIN and J2EE_GUEST.
    The error description read "jco$exception: rfc_error_system_failure: invalid request".
    I want to create these users manually and continue with the rest of process.
    I searched lots of entries, notes, etc., but somehow, my "old" pair of eyes (and brains, too) failed to come up with something I could understand.
    So, gurus, please help, help, help!!
    There are no GUI version of anything installed, no Virtual Admin, no nothing like that. I have to rely on good old unix (Linux) command to do (add users) this.
    Can you please, please post the instructions (step-by-step)? Please have a pity on me since this is my very first time dealing with SAP.
    Thanks and regards.

    Creating users manually is not the intension of the SAP Installation tool. There are other solutions available
    A good starting point is to check if SELinux is enabled or disabled. I've seen lots of broken installations on Red Hat because SELinux does not allow the installer to create users. Check if in /etc/selinux/config  the setting
    SELINUX=disabled
    is set.
    I see, that you are using JDK 1.4.2_11. Is this the Sun JDK? In case you are on x86_64 you have to use the IBM JDK instead. You can download it from <a href="https://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/iwm/web/reg/download.do?source=lxdk&S_PKG=amd64142sr7&S_TACT=105AGX05&S_CMP=JDK&lang=en_US&cp=UTF-">here</a> .
    Also a new SAPINST may help. The current Installation Master CD can you download here:
    http.//service.sap.com/swdc
    -> Download
    -> Installations and Upgrades
    -> Entry by Application Group
    -> SAP Technology Components
    -> SAP SOLUTION MANAGER
    -> SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 3.2/4.0
    -> Installation and Upgrade
    -> LINUX
    -> ORACLE
