Downloading a specified no. of rows using ExportCollectionActionListener.

Hi All,
We are using ExportCollectionActionListener to download the rows rendered on the UI Table to an excel.
Now, what we want to do is to limit the user to download only first 1000 or 500 rows rather than all the rows from the UI Table's VO.
How should we implement this?
Should't this be out of the box?

Don't you think that for export, restricting the row count is a required featureObviously Oracle did not think that, since it is not in the feature set.
The way for you to get an Enhancement Request filed is through https://support.oracle.com and filing an SR.

You have the latest version (CC 2014.1 or 2014.1.1) in which the interface condenses Design View with Live View buttons in normal layouts. See screenshot.
However, in FGLayouts, Live View is the only option which poses some editing problems and has been highly criticized.
Is there any way to display the Design View in fluid grid pages?

You can disable this restriction by adding an X to the FGLayout CSS.

A table is just a 2D array of strings. Keep it in a shift register and use "replace array element" to modify the desired entry programmatically.
If you want to modify it manually and directly from the front panel, make it into a control and type directly into the desired element. (In this case your program would need to write to it using a local variable).
Atttached is a simple example in LabVIEW 7.0 that shows both possibilities.

To load that file with BULK INSERT, use this format file:

Note that the format file defines four fields while the fileonly seems to have three. The format file defines an empty field before the first quote.
Or, since you already have a .NET program, use a stored procedure with table-valued parameter instead. I have an example of how to do this here:

I am trying to configure BI APPS 11.1.1.7.1 and i faced a issue in ODI restart step for which i had to cancel the installation.
when i am trying to run the installer once again it throws me a error "INST-07525 specified domain cannot be used to configure a BIAPPS system"
specify a domain which is not already configured.
how can i resume my configuration or restart the configuration.
Please help me

Thanks for the support link to download 1589540.1. I followed the steps in Question 3 to remove BI Domain and BI Instances. Also, I droped MDS and BI PLATFORM schemas. Deleted some managed servers that were part of the instance. However, when I go to section 3.3.5 Configuring Oracle Business Intelligence in Oracle Fusion Middleware installation guide (sorry unable to paste the link my old vm), the process fails on following error:
oracle.as.provisioning.exception.ASProvWorkflowException: The system cannot find the path specified.
I verified that PATH name doesn't contain any spaces as that's the issue with java portion of these installations. I also verified that every element in PATH also resolves to valid directory. Do you know if you have received this error? Second, did you drop only MDS and BI_PLATFORM schema or did you drop other schemas such as DEV_DW, etc.

It is marked as an audiobook in Options | Media Kind. It is also marked to Remeber Position, but it does not do that. How do I get it to show up under Audiobooks and remember the position? Are you trying to print through the airport express wirelessly or the built in wireless of the lexmark? If you want to use the airport express, there is no need to mess with the wireless printing on the lexmark at all. The airport express will be easy to set up, all the wireless setups through the printers are a pain.

I quit the installation, uninstalled iTunes and rebooted my computer. I now receive a similar message with a slight difference:

I did not leave anything out from the error message. It doesn't point to a specific file, it just ends with "(x86)..." Every time I boot up my computer, this error message pops up on my desktop.
How do I repair this issue? I have found multiple suggested solutions but am unsure which one is the best, and I don't want to try a bunch of different things for fear I may make the problem worse. I would like to try and fix this myself if possible but I need to know if that is really possible or if I need to take my computer to someone for repairs. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

This was so annoying!! It took me a good couple of hours but i figured it out, you need to do the following: Go to the folder where you saved the download (in my case i saved it in My Downloads) -> click on 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 12' -> click on 'PSE 12' -> click on 'Setup' (select the icon which is a box with a shield) -> follow instructions and....voila! You will need to restart when it suggests so save anything else first, then when it reboots you should see the icon on your desktop....hpe this helps!

That wasn't something that I was aware of, but looking at this http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627 I'm not sure that there is much you can do about the device itself. I'm also not sure whether it only affects downloading directly on the device itself or whether you can connect the iPad to your computer and sync content across to it from your account that way - or even whether restoring back to factory defaults on the iPad will bypass the 90 days

There are some Apps you can use, but be careful they will only download these videos inside the App, so you won't ba able to play them in your video app or share them.
Most popular is the app called "Video Download" but there are a lot of alternatives for free and even with more quality which you can pay for.

I'm able to color a row using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY, I tried the same way to color a row at the item level using 'REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY' but I'm not able to get the row color, please let me know how to acheive this.

you need to do 4 things.
1. Add a field in your final internal table which ur going to display.
2.Name the field as----
> color_line(4)   TYPE c,
            begin of itab,
                          matnr            type mara-matnr,
                          ernam          type mara-ernam,
                       color_line(4)   TYPE c,
           end of itab.
3.declare layout ....................> data : it_layout   TYPE lvc_s_layo.
4. After filled your fieldcat and before display your ALV
        loop at itab assigning to <itab>.
                      if <itab>-ernam eq 'XYZ'.
                      <itab>-color_line = 'C600'.
       end loop.
it_layout-info_fname = 'COLOR_LINE'.
CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY'
exporting
    IS_LAYOUT                      = it_layout
    IT_FIELDCAT                    = your_fieldcat
and pass ur ITAB.
