Downloading user report data question

I am trying to download report data from the User report section however the "Time Taken" section comes out in a different format.  For example:
On the Connect server it looks like this:  00:00:23 - on the top of the section it says the format is hh:mm:ss.
But when it downloads out into a .csv file it looks like this: 23080.
I have tried a number of different formats within the excel file - if you chose different variations of time it puts everything to 12:00 AM or ######.
Another example just for kicks is: connect: 1:07:22  with the .csv file: 4041703
Any thoughts?

You'll have to convert the input to date yourself:
SELECT * FROM FLOW_COMP_REC_SUMMARY_RU
where create_date = TO_DATE(:TARGET_DATE, 'DD/MM/YYYY')
and type = 'D'
ORDER BY MESSAGE_FLOW_ID

  • Download Interactive Report data does not match on-screen data

    Hi,
    I have a page which has a process which runs a query and returns a random % of rows from a table, and saves this into a collection.
    Then, based on the random rows, I want to select data from another table, where the rows match certain columns in the collection.
    I have created a query to select the data I want, and have it displayed in an Interactive Report region.
    The data on the screen is fine, but when I go to 'Dowload' the data to csv or excel from the Interactive report, the data is different.
    I have also created a normal report region with the same query, and when I download it from here, it works fine, so I know it has nothing to do with the query.
    Any ideas?

    The process details are:
    Process Point: On Load - Before Regions
    Run Process: Once per page visit
    Then in the Interactive report query is something like:
    Select ..

    Hi,
    This is because of web caching. You should invalidate the page caching in the access tab of page properties or you just change the page url with a dummy paramater like this
    http://domain/portal/page?_pageid=6,1,6_11&_dad=<dad>&_schema=<schema>&1=1
    Here &1=1 is a dummy parameter
    This will invalidate the cache and the page will be refreshed.

    I am trying to build a simple report in SQLDeveloper, using a DATE bind variable. But it fails with the error message:
    Inconsistent datatype, expected DATE got NUMBER
    SELECT * FROM FLOW_COMP_REC_SUMMARY_RU
    where create_date = trunc(:TARGET_DATE)
    and type = 'D'
    ORDER BY MESSAGE_FLOW_ID
    Running this query in SQLDeveloper worksheet executes properly after a dialog box pops up and I enter: current_date - 1
    SELECT * FROM FLOW_COMP_REC_SUMMARY_RU
    where create_date = trunc(&TARGET_DATE)
    and type = 'D'
    ORDER BY MESSAGE_FLOW_ID
    I've searched but no clear solutions present themselves. If you have one it would be most appreciated.

    It's difficult to understand your english. Are you saying you have an iBot and you want to download the report as CSV? Why not just have the iBot email the user the results in CSV?

    Can someone please guide me how to download APEX report data in Excel and PDF format.I know this is possible through BI Publisher but that is extra Licence cost for client so i don't want to use that option.

  • Download reported data in Tunisian currency (three decimal places)

    Dear all,
    if I use the download of reported data functionalety in EC-CS (TC cx3d1) and the file format is .txt, the system can not handle the three decimal places of tunesian currency and moves the comma one digit to the left side. The values are multiplied with 10 right now.
    Do I need to change the settings somewhere or is that a known problem?

    many thanks for the quick answer. Maybe I need to specify the problem a little bit: The Tunisian currency has been set to three decimal places. The databaselist shows the values correctly, e.g. 5000,000.
    If I use transaction cx3d1 to download the values, the system converts this value into a textfile. The problem is, that the values is not 5000,00 any longer, instead of 50000. That means, everything is multiplied with 10 and the decimal places are away.
    Do you know that problem? We have it only with the tunisian dinar, but not with the Hungarian currency, which has as well three decimal places.

    Recently, I had a requirement to download the report data into a direct update DSO using an APD. I was able to perform this easily when the report was simple i.e it has few rows and columns. But I faced problems If the report is a complex one. Summing up, I would like to know how to handle the scenarios in each of the following cases:
    1.   How should I decide the key fields and data fields of the direct update DSO ? Is it that the elements in ROWS will go to the
          key fields of DSO and the remaining to the data fields? Correct me.
    2.   What if the report contains the Restricted KFs and Calculated KFs? Do I have to create separate infoobjects in the BI
          system and then include these in the DSO data fields to accommodate the extracted data ?
    3.   How do I handle the Free Characteristics and Filters ?
    4.  Moreover, I observed that if the report contains selection screen variables, then I need to create variants in the report and
         use that variant in the APD. So, if I have 10 sets of users executing the same report with different selection conditions, then
         shall I need to create 10 different variants and pass those into 10 different APDs, all created for the same report ?
    I would appreciate if someone can answer my questions clearly.

    --- Yes , you can use the elements in the ROWS in the Key fields,  but in case you get two records with same value in the ROWS element the data load will fail. So you basically need to have one value that would be different for each record.

    Yes you would need to create new Infoobjects for the CKF's and RKF's in the Report and include them in your DSO.
    3. How do I handle the Free Characteristics and Filters ?
    The default filters work in the same way as when you yourself execute the reoprt. But you cannot use the Free characterisitics in the APD. only the ROWS and cloumns element which are in default layout can be used.
    4. Moreover, I observed that if the report contains selection screen variables, then I need to create variants in the report and
    use that variant in the APD. So, if I have 10 sets of users executing the same report with different selection conditions, then

    --- Yes you would need to create 10 different APD's. Its very simple to create, you can copy an APD. but it would be for sure a maintance issue. you would have to maintain 10 APD's.

  • Lync monitoring Details reports are not getting opened, Getting SQL error like "Cannot impersonate user for data source 'CDRDB"

         Two month before, We have deployed Lync 13 set up with lync monitoring and archiving service enabled. After configuring we have the Lync monitoring and archiving services are working fine... few weeks back I have changed the Admin Password
    of the Lync Setup. After that Lync Monitoring and Archiving services are not working.
    when I try open Lync monitoring service from web UI,

    Web UI is opening but Reports home page is not Accessible , Getting error Like
    "An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
    Cannot impersonate user for data source 'CDRDB'. (rsErrorImpersonatingUser)
    Log on failed. Ensure the user name and password are correct. (rsLogonFailed)
    The user name or password is incorrect"
    Please help me to trouble shoot this problem.

  • Utilizing SQ01 SQ02 for user report generation of production data

    I am interested in utilizing sap query transactions SQ01, SQ02, and SQ03 to create and customize end user reports that will be used  by our audit team to analyze SAP data in our production environment. My objective would be to have one person with authorization to run SQ01,02,03 and have that user create all the reports that would be required for the team to use. This way there isn't a bunch of users out there using SQ01 indiscriminately or perhaps not using it at all. I currently have authorization to run SQVI but it is limited. From what I understand there is more flexibility with SQ01 because they allow you to create calculated fields and offer more formatting options. Most of these reports would be related to finance, sales, vendor, customer, etc.
    My question is this. How do I create these custom queries and allow multiple users to access and run them? Are the queries created directly in production? Are they created in DEV and then tested in QA before being transported to Prod? I understand you can map an sap query program to a transaction and then add that to a role but isn't the program name generated by SQ01 different in every instance? I would like this code to be reproducible as I have 5 different SAP instances in which these reports would be used. Same reports, different data.
    I am looking to leverage the power of SAP query to produce meaningful reports for our team without having to use programmers to develop them from scratch. What is the optimal approach to doing this without creating a lot of hassles and without creating additional security risks?
    If I create a query based on SAP tables I have access to does the general user also have to have authorization to those tables in order for the query to run for them? In theory the entire team should have authorization to the same standard SAP tables because we all have the same roles assigned but I may have some additional tables assigned to me because I am the IT auditor. Just confirming.
    I appreciate any and all suggestions. I would like to proceed with the best solution as soon as possible.

    Hi Mark,
    It is best to create queries in dev rather than doing it in prd directly.
    Query user group can be used to control the access in production.
    You can have one query administrator with access to sq01,2,3 and sqvi who will assign query user group to respective users in prd so they can run these.

    We have the requirement that whenever the user generates the report and tries downloading, the report should be downloaded into the desired format with name as report name+date of report generation automatically.

    In that case, it is correct.
    Try replacing & with &amp; before downloading xml in case you want & to appear as &amp; in web browser view.
