Driver SDK: nextResults()

Folks -
I've been playing around a bit with the driver sdk (cooooooool stuff).
How exactly is one meant to use the nextResults() method, anyway?
From what I can tell it indicates some sort of ability to retrieve multiple data providers -- is that true?
and if so, how exactly?!
It states:
com.businessobjects.connectionserver.datasources.ddk
Interface DBDriver
Methods:
nextResults
boolean nextResults()
                    throws CSException
    Boolean that indicates if there are more records to retrieve, for a
multi-statement execution.
    Returns:
            * True: There is remaining data to retrieve, or getUpdateCount() is
not equal to -1.
            * False: There is no remaining data to retrieve.
    Throws:
        CSException - A data source error occurs.
    See Also:
        getUpdateCount()
Does this mean I can retrieve multiple DPs in a single universe execution?!
Thanks in advance.

I tried to repair and uninstall and reinstall the SDK
but no success. However, I manage to make it working
by following these steps:<br
/>1.     Search
windows registry for odbc.ini<br
/>2.     It
is appear in 3 sections<br
/>a.     HKLM\software\odbc\odbc.ini<br
/>b.     HKLM\software\wow6432\node\odbc\odbc.ini<br
/>c.     HKEY_USERS\HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-830790631-2547209369-1782501783-1000\software\odbc\odbc.ini<br
/>3.     P6
SDK installation and drivers is installed in the
wow6432<br
/>4.     However,
it seems that Control Panel -> Administrative
Tools -> Data Sources (ODBC) -> ODBC
Data Source Administrator read the section in point
2.a above only and ignore the other 2 sections.<br
/>5.     I
copied the registry keys and data from wow6432 section
to the section mentioned in 2.a and 2.c<br
/>6.     I
opened MSQuery and P6 SDK is there showing the
tables<br
/>7.     However,
it will be great help to have the documentation of the
tables(tm) contents if it is available.<br

  • Welcome to the Adobe Drive SDK Forum

    This forum is intended for developer questions on the Adobe Drive SDK. It’s appropriate for third-party asset management vendors that have questions related to the SDK which can be used to create custom connectors for easy access to their DAM servers from the creative desktop. A custom connector can expose features such as check-in, version comments, and version retrieval. With the customized connector, Adobe Drive 2.1 offers users an easy way to connect to a DAM server and access it as a network drive on the user's file system. Users can treat remote managed assets as if they were local, browsing them with the platform file browser or through Adobe Bridge.

    CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE
    1. CTRL E has never worked and I have always edited my site via a link that my web designer has given me ,I don't get an error message just nothing happens,  any ideas?
    2. When I go through the link given to me by my web designer to edit the site the site appears but everything is smaller, font boxes etc, and not the correct size, I can edit ,however when I then exit editing and  check to see if my site has changed nothing has .
    Viewing the site outside of incontext editing all is normal, correct size etc , it is only when I'm in editing that the site appears different and not right.This is a recent problem and all  ( apart from CTRL E )  has been fine.
    Its almost like I have 2 websites one out here and one in incontext editing , any suggestions
    Many thanks

  • Adobe Drive not connecting to hello world sample launched via Eclipse

    I'm trying to get the hello world sample running with Drive SDK 5. I got:
    Adobe Drive 5.0.1

    Afterwards, I start Adobe Drive (32bit version). The UI hangs with the message "Adobe Drive is starting. Please wait.". From task manager I can see that not just Adobe Drive was started, but also AD4ServiceManager.exe. I guess, this should not happen, because Adobe Drive should discover the one launched via Eclipse.
    So what's going wrong here? How does Adobe Drive discover the one launched via Eclipse? What could block discovery?
    Here more details in case that helps debugging the problem. MANIFEST.MF:

    Here the Eclipse run configuration settings:

    Wow, this seems to help even though it is still a bit shaky. Here the steps I have to do to get it working:
    manually launch 64bit version of AD4ServiceManager.exe with parameter -launchedbydrive
    launch Eclipse project and wait till ss shows everything as registered (much faster now)
    start 64bit version of Drive -> my adapter doesn't show up
    shutdown drive
    start 64bit version of Drive again -> my adapter now shows up and works as expected
    I find a few things confusing here:
    In Eclipse, should I configure the 32bit or 64bit version of AD4ServiceManager as plugin execution environment? Currently, I'm using the 32bit version.
    Why isn't the step of manually launching AD4ServiceManager.exe not mentioned in the getting started guide?
    I will reboot my machine to see if it is still working or just some special sun radiation making it work currently :-)

  • Adobe Drive Custom Connector

    Hi,
    We have a requirement for Digital Asset Management solution and the client already has a FileNet P8 4.5.1 solution in production. They are using Adobe Creative Suite CS5 (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). We tested the CMIS connector with P8 5.0 and we found few limitation(no previews and thumbnails, no option to select the class as it always defaulted to "Document" class, version comments not stored, verison previews not available) and will appreciate if you can confirm that the following requirements can be met by developing a custom connector using Adobe Drive SDK:
    The user needs to be able to Checkin Indesign Documents with all links from Indesign or by just doing a copy/paste of the full Indesign package folder in “Finder”
    While checking in the user should have the option to select the class of the document and fill the indexes for the documents
    The user should be able to search in Adobe Bridge based on the indexes filled during checkin operation (FileNet Properties)
    Adobe Bridge should be able to show the thumbnails and preview for all added content (Indesign, illustrator, Photoshop)
    Versioning should be supported with version comments, and versions dialog should show the preview of each version.
    Thanks
    Alex

    from the perspective of Adobe Drive, I think the answers for all the above questions is Yes.
    Adobe Drive is a set of client components for asset managementss, it depends on your connector and remote DAM service to provide all the information it needs, like thumbnails, preview, seach cretirias in Bridge, version comments and etc, throught Adobe Drive SDK, if your connector follow it and is good designed, I think Adobe Drive can meet all the above requirments.
    any issue you will met in the developement, you can post here
    thanks

  • Using Adobe Drive to upload images to alfresco

    Hi all,
    I am using Adobe Drive 2.1 with InDesign CS4 to connect to Alfresco.When I got connected to my alfresco with Adobe Drive a new drive (z:) is created and I can see the alfresco folders there.
    Imagine that I have and InDesign document opened with a local image placed in it. We want (programmatically) the image to be copied to drive "z:" when we do the check in of the InDesign document (so other people can open the InDesign document with no image link lost (everybody will have a drive z: because everybody will have Adobe Drive)), but unfortunately the image is not uploaded to alfresco until we manually do a check in from the Adobe Drive contex menu  in Windows explorer, so the rest of the people have a image link lost problem.
    My quetion is,  Is there any way to upload the image programmatically to alfresco from InDesign? if not, Is there any other way to do this? perhaps using the Adobe Drive SDK?
    Thanks in advance,
    Alvaro.

    Currently, there is no direct method to upload images programmatically via Adobe Drive. Adobe Drive SDK is used to develop custom connector.
    BTW, InDesgin has a function called package(Menu:File->Package). After you open a file with linked files and click menu File->Package, you specify a folder in Adobe Drive disk(Z:), then all related files will be saved to the specified folder and checked in automatically, no matter the original linked files are checked into the server or not. The disadvantage is that it may break your current folder structure. If the package function can meet your requirement, you can refer InDesign SDK from http://www.adobe.com/devnet/indesign/sdk.html to develop a plugin/extension to do this work.

  • Guide to connect Adobe drive with Alfresco CE

    Hallo everybody!
    Since adobe remove version cue, i search for a replacement. Can somebody please write a short  guide how to configurate Alfresco CE to optimal work with adobe drive? Its drive me creasy, bljad! I think, i am not alone with this problem. Feel free to write here everethink, you found about it. Together we find a solution, i think.
    The interest were (after connect Adobe drive to Alfresco CE):
    - how configurate the space, where Alfresco CE saving the files ?
    - how to set permissions to Alfresco CE drive to chek in the files from adobe programms?
    - in bridge i cannot see the thumbnails of files (only the standart thumbs, maby it has something to do with the permission rights?)
    - how can thomebody else from anywhere connect to Alfresco Cmis that is locally on my pc, like earler in versioncue, to callobarate)
    Thanks to everybody for suggestions and help!
    Adobe drive 2.1
    Alfresco CE 3.4

    Hi Borisbritva,
    To work with Adobe Drive, you just need to install and launch Alfresco CE server. No special configuration.
    Section 'Using the CMIS Connector' in CMIS CONNECTOR FOR ADOBE DRIVE 2.1: TECHNICAL NOTE doc shows the detailed steps on how to connect Alfresco server with Adobe Drive 2.1.  Below is the link for the tech note:
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/creativesuite/cs/adobedrive/CMIS_Connector_Tech_Note.pdf
    For "how configurate the space, where Alfresco CE saving the files ?" & "how to set permissions to Alfresco CE drive to chek in the files from adobe programms?", I think you need to read Alfresco Document ( http://www.alfresco.com/resources/documentation/ ). For simply try, use admin account to connect Alfresco Server with Adobe Drive. CMIS CONNECTOR FOR ADOBE DRIVE 2.1: TECHNICAL NOTE doc gives the detail info about how to browse, check in, and check out files.
    For "in bridge i cannot see the thumbnails of files (only the standart thumbs, maby it has something to do with the permission rights?)",  Adobe Drive 2.1 with CMIS connector doesn't support it. But Adobe Drive has exposed API to retrieve thumbnails of files. If you have interest, you can download Adobe Drive SDK ( http://www.adobe.com/devnet/adobedrive/eula_21.html ) and try it.
    For "how can thomebody else from anywhere connect to Alfresco Cmis that is locally on my pc, like earler in versioncue, to callobarate)", Adobe Drive 2.1 with CMIS connector support it. Just replace 'localhost' with you external IP address in Server URL when connect to Alfresco server.
    Thanks,
    Hui

  • Not seeing a DataType.ICON request when browsing with Adobe Bridge?

    Hi All,
    I have followed the instructions in the "Customizing the UI->Displaying Thumbnails" section of the Adobe Drive SDK documents, but I have a problem. When I browse through my drive with Adobe Bridge, I am not getting the expected request for DataType.ICON for any of my items; when I call item.getDataTypes() from my
    IGetAssetsHandler, I only see the DataTypes [BASIC, ASSET_PROPERTY].
    Any ideas as to why this might be is happening?

    In your ConnectHandler implementation, add the following capability:
    capabilities.add(Capability.READ_XMP_METADATA);
    I spent a week to figure it out.

  • How to open an InDesign file from CMIS repository?

    We are using CS SDK 2.0 , looking to use CMIS to keep versionning of .indd file. The uss case as following:
    form our de4veloped InDesign pluging, user click a button

    when user clos the document , it will check it in.
    the problem there is no sufficent sample code for, even was thinking to use Adobe Drive, but there is no Adobe Drive SDK for Flex.
    i used to fuse the sdk, but

    i do not know what method in the CS SDK to open document fom active window and  how to map CMIS Document to com.adobe.indesign Document ?

    Dear Seoras
    i fixed the to return the cmis path:
    public function resolveRemotePath(file:File):String
                                  if (file.nativePath.indexOf(LOCAL_FILE_CACHE.nativePath) != 0)
                                            return null;
                                  var remoptePath:String =file.nativePath.substr(LOCAL_FILE_CACHE.nativePath.length);
                                  trace("resolveRemotePath [11] : "+ remoptePath);
                                  if(File.separator!="/") {
                                            //var pattern:RegExp = /(\/)/g;
                                            var pattern:RegExp = /(\\)/g;
                                            remoptePath =  remoptePath.replace(pattern ,"/");
                                            trace("resolveRemotePath [22] : "+ remoptePath);
                                  return remoptePath;
    i have another issue, why everytime update the generated pdf it creates new pdf file with same name in the cmis repo .. does the pdf is not updatable over the cmis service ???

  • Audigy 2 ZS Platinum

    First of all, Hi this is my first post here. I own an Audigy ZS Platinum Pro, an SB Li've, and have been a loyal Creative customer since the Soundblaster 2.0 6bit I fitted to my 386SX. I've been working in I. T. for 3 years in various roles, from C++ programming to IT Management. I'm currently certified as an eMCPA, MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCSA&MCSE+Messaging, and am about to complete a VCP and soon?a Cisco Unified Messaging cert. I'm far from uninformed, I guess that's what I'm trying to get across. Now some other facts:- Windows Vista has been available to corporate customers since November 2006.- Windows Vista has been available to retail customers since January 2007- Windows Vista SDK including Driver SDKs have been readily available since early 2006. Yes you read that right.
    Now, I like most people downloaded the Audigy 2 ZS Plat Pro drivers for XP and found they didnt work under Vista. Things like the scale of the volume controls was way off - but Surround sound was strangely enough working. I have a full surround sound system with either SPDIF or just RCA inputs. I use either, I'm not that fussed. I could not use these drivers as there were so many bugs under Vista (the XP drivers) that it wasnt workable. I then waited for well over a month. Eventually, Creative release the first beta drivers for the Audigy 2 ZS Plat Pro under Vista 32bit. I install these drivers, and find to my dismay, everything sounds absolutely terrible (I'm not sure how the quality can be so bad?) and also the rear channels won't work. No SoundBlaster applications are installed. It's like I'm using the worst onboard sound ever invented with the world's worst driver and application support. At this point I'll remind you?I paid over $450 for this card and external box. That is a massi've expense and one I only outlayed due to my previous faith in Creative. I already had my suspicions about the quality of the drivers due to the way the previous XP drivers had been bundled into 3 files then a patch and then that was changed, and it was all very seemingly mismanaged. Anyway the drivers bomb out without warning on January 2th, which I was very much less than impressed with.When I first hit the Creative site that morning, the updated drivers were NOT available. That is absolutely unacceptable. Later that day, the current drivers were posted. With massi've warning labels like "THESE ARE AN UNSUPPORTED BETA DRIVER. DO NOT USE THESE....<continues like this>" I download these and install them, and find to my dismay CMSS might be present but it's implementation is very very poor and I'm getting truly abysmal quality through the rear channel. It's like somebody ripped the DAC out and replaced it with one they bought from a 25cent bargain warehouse. I then change volume settings and attempt to use some of the features of the card and find that practically nothing that is present in the XP drivers is actually working in these drivers. There is no point using these drivers other than to hear Windows sounds. They are buggy, suffer from massi've quality problems, and do not include any of the features that I bought the card FOR and also cripple my home stereo/theater sound reproduction to the point it's not worth bothering with. So thanks, Creative, for because of your drivers alone, I'm now dual booting to XP and having to wait to actually begin using a new operating system, for absolutely no reason other than the incompetence displayed by Creative. Not anyone elses, the Video card has been working fine since Vista Beta , and every single other device in my system including USB sticks and third party disk controllers, all work great under Vista. Every single, and I mean every single, one of these other manufacturers had a software team that was worthy of the hardware. I'm afraid that I can't say the same for Creative Labs. The software is truly terrible now, you need to fix this situation. In closing, let me also remind you that it is now the 2st of February, 2007. These unsupported beta drivers have been my only option for well over a month. Prior to this drivers that were barely alpha release drivers were my only option, and prior to that - I had no option. This is completely unacceptable. Microsoft did not just spring Vista on the market; SDKs were made available 2 months in advance and even futher in advance for hardware vendors. Please stop blaming Microsoft or implying it is their fault for implementing DRM. This was documented, published, warned about in advance, and any software or hardware manufacturers caught behind the 8 ball like this should be truly ashamed, and fully expect to lose the vast majority of their Enterprise level customers, which filters down to the IT Media, which filters very quickly down tos Consumers. Once your products are recommended AGAINST, on major websites and in major IT publications, the retail customer will no longer select Creative. Do not be complacent, it will happen if nothing changes and extremely rapidly. This will take a long time for the user base to forget too, we will be suspicious and never trust Creative for many years. Neither I, nor my businesses, will ever buy a PC with a Creative component in it again, and I have written to local Computer publications stating the same. I am removing my Creative hardware from the systems, and will move to another high end manufacturer that does have current Vista drivers. Believe me people there are cards out there with better SNR and all of the features and more, with driver support. This shows a real lack of commitment to the customer base on behalf of Creative. This post is not intended to start a debate. It is a letter from myself, and my?local I. T. community, to Creative, for comment on by the community. Everyone should realise that the software development lifecycle for a modern I. T. hardware vendor needs to be tracked closely to the operating system vendors' releases and patch levels. Creative, are not behaving with any professionalism. This is not an operating system being delayed, this is a driver, the tools for which have been made readily available to Creative by Microsoft directly for over 2 months, Creative manufacture the hardware, and to add insult to injury Microsoft worked with hundreds of hardware vendors to ensure Vista compatibility. For the Creative Vista drivers to be in this state of disarray on February 2st 2007 is a terrible reflection on Creative, showing a massi've lack of planning. Pardon me for asking, but is everyone at Creative asleep?On behalf of the I. T. Community at large, I hope Creative acknowledges our disgust.?Travis RoeMessage Edited by troe on 02-20-200709:52 PM

  • Adobe bridge crashes when saving illustrator files

    Hi there,
    We are developing custom connector using Adobe Drive SDK for our DAM system, the integration with CS was working fine, we recently updated Adobe Drive to 4.2, and we are encountering bridge crashes when saving illustrator file. It didn't happen with older version(4.0.2) of Adobe Drive, not sure why. I pin point the part that causing the issue: in our custom connector, we have READ_XMP_METADATA capability which we need to display the thumbnails and previews, and in the ftp sample connector, this capablity is not included originally, so the issue does not happen, but if I add this capabilty, the crash issue happens as well. If we exclude this capablity from our connector, this crash issue doesn't happen.
    We noticed this only happens when saving illustrator file, not photoshop or indesign, and it seems that only in illustrator, when save, and the bridge has the current file folder showing, we are seeing there are twice folder refreshes, and usually it will crash after the second time. In photoshop and indesign, we don't see folder refreshes. If switch to other folder, the crash won't happen. We tested on both windows and Mac, on Mac, this seems happen less often. Another thing we noticed is in debug mode, or we have many debug logging turned on, the crash happens less often, if it is deployed with no debug logging, the crash happens almost everytime. So we are guessing it might be some synchronization problem.
    Could you please advice what's the cause of this issue?
    Thanks,
    Katherine

    Has it ever worked?
    What kind of files are they and where do you save them?
    Is a printer connected, set up and turned ON?
    Have you already tried resetting the preferences?
    Generally it's not a good idea to just save old files, because then some artwork may be automatically flattened. Illustrator will save the file to the old version file-format and if you used new features in-between, those cannot stay live in the old version file format.

  • Keep DB Connection Open

    I have an Oracle stored procedure that I need to call for a list of records in Crystal.
    What I have done is created a UFL to make the call and provide the return results.
    I call the Custom Function for each record returned however, it's taking a long time to process.
    I believe this is because the connection to the oracle database is being opened, called and closed for each record.
    Is there any way to open the connection when the reports starts running, return the results for each record and then close the connection when the report completes?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    FYI - I am using CRXI R2
    Ray

    Hi Raymond,
    The reason why CR opens/closes for each record is because you are using a UFL it's going to be processed on the second pass of the report which means because it's a formula CR will process it after the connection is closed. If CR can convert the formula into SQL then it happens server side but in your case you need to run the query for each record.
    Have you had a look at using a Command Object? It would require returning all of the data but at least the ufl function would then filter on the Command data and not hit the database. You may have to re-write your UFL functions so it doesn't go to the DB but uses the cached data in the Command object.
    Another option would be to write your own OLE DB Provider. DataDirect who we partner with for data sources, offers an SDK so you can build in security and anything else you need or would like to have.
    http://web.datadirect.com/products/custom-driver-sdk/index.html
    As for stopping CR from disconnecting that won't happen. We release the connection to free resources once we are done, keeping the connection open causes problems for all applications like Brian indicated.
    You may have to re-design your report and do the filtering client side rather than server side.
    Thank you
    Don

  • Getting started, sort of

    A couple of weeks ago I got my Mindstorm NXT and immediately installed the UI so I could play around with things and become familiar with the interface.  I can tell this will be a lot of fun.  I have heard you can go right to the firmware level and start programming the device at a less abstract level, and that is what I am interested in doing.  I found the link for the Labview toolkit for lego mindstorm over at the NI website, downloaded and tried to install, but the install immediately balks with the following message:
        LabVIEW 7.1 or greater must be installed prior to installing the LabVIEW Toolkint for LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT.
    I assumed this meant I should uninstall all the stuff that came on the Mindstorm CD (and all the updated installs I downloaded from the Lego website).  So I did that, then tried installing the LabView toolkit again; but I get the same message.
    I'm already familiar with the ARM7 in the form of the ST-2051 microcontroller from ST-Micro, so I'm not a complete stranger to ARM and thumb instructions and writing embedded firmware.  I've also worked with a couple of different ST-Micro toolchains, and the Cosmic toolchain, Rowley's toolchain, and embedded linux, so I'm at least vaguely familiar with the trouble I'm looking to get into by wanting to get right into the firmware level and do my development in C or C++ .  On the other hand, I'm an absolute beginner with this toolchain and can't get past the installer, so I know I need to raise my hand and ask for help!   I did write this up and send it to the NI support page, but I never heard back.
    So how do I install this thing?  Is there maybe a FAQ or other document for getting the toolchain installed?
    Many thanks!

    Hi zzaappp,
    The NXT Toolkit was not designed to work with the software that came with your MINDSTORMS NXT.  Instead, the toolkit is for users of LabVIEW, probably NI's most popular product.  While the MINDSTORMS software and LabVIEW have many similarities, you'll need to obtain a version of LabVIEW to use the toolkit.  A good place to get started on that is this page on our website: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/4435.
    I'm going to venture a guess, though, and assume that you're probably not very familiar with writing code in LabVIEW.  If you're more comfortable writing code in C or C++, you may be more interested in the Fantom SDK.  Fantom is the device driver used to communicate with the NXT, and our developers have published an SDK that will allow you to use the Fantom library in your own C/C++ code.  This is how many other software developers have written their own programs to communicate with the NXT.  The Fantom SDK is available from LEGO's NXT'reme website: http://mindstorms.lego.com/Overview/NXTreme.aspx.  You'll want to download the Driver SDK and the Bluetooth DK.
    Hope this helps you get started!  Let us know if you have more questions along the way.

  • Question on launching SWF's with AIR support

    I apologize in advance for my ignorance in this, but I am just getting started using Flex/Flash.
    The Adobe PDF Driver SDK recommends using Flash for the driver UI.  One of the entries in the configuration file for the driver is for specifying the path to the SWF file.  It is this SWF file that is shown when the driver UI is displayed.
    I have a need in the driver I am creating to access the File system, and so I need to build this SWF as an AIR app (so I can include flash.filesystem.*).  But the problem is that I can only specify the name of the SWF file in the configuration file, and can't tell it to run adl.exe nor specify the descriptor file.
    Is there any way to build an AIR app (as a desktop app) without it needing adl or the descriptor file?
    I am currently using a trial version of Flash Builder, but ultimately the SWFs will need to be created on the fly using the command-line compiler (amxmlc).

  • URGENT!!! Bios Bug found for P500 series BIOS v2.90. TAIS really needs to fix this!!

    Affected unit: P500-ST6844 PSPGSU-0Q2012
    I have had sleep issues with my laptop since I first purchased it back in 2010. I have made a previous post about it here: http://forums.toshiba.com/t5/Batteries-and-Power/Laptop-turns-off-instead-of-going-to-sleep/m-p/3101...
    I recently found some some helpful troubleshooting documents for windows 7 power management on the Microsoft website.  One of the utilities it suggested to use is the PWRTEST.exe included Windows driver SDK. Running PWRTEST /sleep /s:4 results in a successful Hibernate cycle, however running PWRTEST /sleep /s:3 results in:
    NO.0 Transition--TargetState: S3
    Error: Pwrtest tracing might be buffer overflow, and the data of this power is discarded.

    doing reasearch on the first error reveals that this is caused by a bug in the BIOS.
    the bug causes either one of two things two happen P500 does not enter Sleep (S3) properly, or when S3 is attempted the unit appears to enter S3 successfully, and the led sleep indicator blinks, but when trying to resume from S3, unit starts up from an off state and hangs after Toshiba bios screen is displayed. normal boot operation only occurs after forcing a power down and restarting unit.

    Anyone running windows in the same laptop can check the same issue of battery drain due to WOl being enabled by default - in the Device Manager under the network cards, opening the settings menu for the ethernet wired card the default for Wake-on-LAN on my computer was set to enabled. This can be changed to disabled, and you may need to also disable the setting for Wake on Magic Packet. Also in the Power Management tab it is possible to uncheck the settings for "Allow this device to wake the computer" and "Only allow a magic packet to wake the computer"
    In my laptop these were all set to enabled by default.

  • Using curve 8520 to upload images to facebook

    i am in love with the curve 8520 ease of uploading images to facebook without having to first save the images to pictures
    when i receive an e-mail i can simply send the photo to facebook without having to save it to pictures and when i visit a website using the browser i can simply select full image then send simply send he image to facebook.
    while researching other models with the intention to upgarde i discovered that the torch 9800 and bold 9900 do not have this feature.  what is this feature called ?  it is imperative that tis feature is available in the other models that i am considering upgarding to.  what model has this feature?
