Drop down menu problem - not allowed when below page!!!!

When my drop down menus start in say page 1 and run into page 2 I am not allowed too choose anything in the menu below page 1. HELP!!

I am not quite sure why items in drop down list that is located on page 1 would display on page 2. I can not replicate that. Can you put your form up on a server somewhere where I can see it?

I want to be able to print a blank form for the older clients who cannot use a computer. Form has a few drop-down menus and they only appear on the print out if an option is selected. The form was created on FormCentral. Can anybody help?

I am using the trial version of Adobe Acrobat and am using the provided FormCentral software to create the form. I find it very limited, but easier to learn. I am creating a financial needs analyser.
The section of the drop down menu is a selection from 1-5 (rating of importance for financial goals). I want to print out the questions and the empty boxes for people to fill them in by hand (e.g write 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5). When I leave a blank choice, no box is printed out. I write the questions in formatted text and leave the text/caption for the drop-down as blank, as it is difficult to set the margins correctly so various elements align (I pretty much have to estimate).
As said before, I may have been missing a massive part of the software, but I haven't used any training - just going by instinct so far.
Do you know if I can do anything about it?

The bookmarks in my drop-down menu do not appear when I try to "organize bookmarks". When I try to bookmark a page, the folders in the drop-down menu do not appear as choices.

The trouble started when I transferred applications from my old computer. When I click "bookmarks", all my bookmarks are there. When I try to "Organize Bookmarks", it acts like I have no bookmarks. When I try to "Bookmark this page", it does not show all the folders that are in the drop-down menu. There are a number of bookmark files in the appdata\mozilla\firefox\profiles area, none of which are complete. I tried a backup and restore in the organize menu and a backup was created, but I don't know what was backed up. I suspect nothing was backed up. When I clicked a restore, nothing happened.

I'm not familiar with Windows 7, but... is it possible there is a permissions problem with your profile folder, or read-only set on any database files?

For future reference... if you have the trial version installed and plan to buy it after trying it out, there is no need to uninstall it. It can be activted to full use with the serial number from your purchase.

Navigation Drop Down Menu Does Not Appear Correctly with Internet Explorer.

I want to embed a pdf in a webpage, where the drop-down menu needs to be displayed on the top of the pdf. I am using iframe to embed the pdf.

It is usually best to attach a minimal test case to the bug report.<br />
In that case the code doesn't get lost if the page is removed from the server.

Drop down menu problem IE7

I have a small problem, don't know if you can help at all. I have have upgraded to the latest version of spry and created my spry menu in Dreamweaver CS3. It works great in firefox, but in IE7 the drop down menu jumps up to the top of the browser window, instead of below the menu bar.
When I check using the browser compatibility function in CS3, I get a message "Expanding Box Problem" with the following lines of code highlighted:

Serial resourse name drop down menu problem in built versions of software.

Hi,
I have developed Labview programs to test new PCBs as they come off the production line, by stimulating the PCBs via RS232 serial. These programs work well on my development PC, and have been built as appilcations with installer ready to be transferred to the test PC, so our production department can use them. The problem is that when I install the built applications onto the production PC, the serial resource name selection drop down menu is grayed out and disabled. This stops anyone from being able to select the correct serial port.
I am using Labview 6.1, Windows XP.

My first guess is that you have not installed VISA on the target machine.

I am trying to use a drop down menu inone of my dialogs. The emnu is showing, but i cannot select it.

I was really trying hard not to advertise, but rather to advocate the correct way to use ScriptUI.
However once it was brought up let me just say a word. Most apps that automatically create dialogs will use co-ordinates and bounds, overriding the default layout manager. In that Rapid ScriptUI is different, since it shows you how to manipulate position of elements without using layout manager.
The $2 script, while still existing, is a really old version of the library, however the professional version is extremely capable and outputs code which is really easy to understand and edit if necessary.

Drop down menu to left instead of below

HI, I have created a drop down menu in Dreamweaver 8 (since I can't install my CS4).
Anyways everything looks fine and works fine on IE, FireFox and safari when I look at the site but when I sent the link to my client to review the site the drop down for one of the headings pops up to the left on the screen.
I cannot see the problem when looking at the code and I have 2 computers and a laptop and I don't see the problem. But apparently all of their employees see the drop down to the left for the "Education" heading.
Can someone have a look or let me know why this is happening?

The dropdown works for me correctly in FFs and IE7. However, when I put the page through the validator you get quite a few errors:

On looking at the code however, I see the javascript for the MM menus right at the top of the document, which is why the validator is throwing the first error..... this is throwing the page into quirks mode and very likely causing the problem with your clients viewing the page.
That js code should be in the head of the document, not above the doctype line.... did you move the js into the document at any time?

Drop Down Menu does not appear

We're working on EP7 for CRM 5.0... from a particular user (let's say user :ab), while creating a <b>new</b> : Account, Lead, Activity etc. the <b>drop down menu under the button New does not appear</b>..instead it throws an explorer error (error in line 126...access denied etc.)
rest of the users with the same role (in the back-end & front-end) are working perfectly. we have tried re-assigning the role and also changing the buffer parameter but still the drop down list does not appear... kindly suggest me a solution.

no it does not depend on that
i have found out the "solution" to the problem, i had changed the default value of the date from (DD.MM.YYYY to Islamic date ) field in SU01 for that user , now when i revert the changes back to the default value, it works fine...and he's able to see the values in the drop-down now.
the customer still needs the Islamic dates.... so half the prob. is solved, the other half remains unanswered ..... kindly advise
any idea why would the date change cause the menu not to populate?

Fireworks drop down menu problem in explorer 7 help

I created a fireworks drop down menu for my website which
usually shows the 'up' label, in this case January, February etc
once activated, but now this only shows when the mouse moves over
it and then the 'down' state shows correctly. Has anyone
experienced this problem and if so can you offer a solution? The

when I attempt to use these programs, and I choose a drop down menu from the top title bar, a lot of the options on the menus are in gray, and they do not work. Does this mean the only give you the preview of the program?
No Debbie you have the full version. However, if these options and commands are not available (are gray) then it means that the objects the operate on are not selected. So, in iPhoto for instance, under the File menu, I cannot ‘Edit a Smart Album’ unless I have selected a Smart Album first. I cannot create an Event unless I have selected a photo to make that Event with, and so on.

CS3 FW drop down menu files not eporting correctly

Drop down menu files are not exporting correctly.
Here's what happened:
1. I did a file save as to the PNG file (from subban11.png to
subban12.png)
2. Made changes to the drop down menu
3. Eported the file with the new name subban12
The result:
1. The html file was named correctly as subban12.html
2. All the supporting .gif files still had the old file name
(subban11... )
3. A new subban12.css file appeared that had never appeared
before when exporting
4. A new mm_css_menu.js file also appeared
Is there fix for this problem or has my .png file corrupted?
I did export a different .png drop down menu file and
everything worked properly.

installed
on it. From memory, choose File > HTML Setup. Under
General, check Use
CSS for Pop-up menus, and Write CSS to an External file.

Google account drop-down menu is not working

When I go to click my google account name in the top right of gmail, the drop-down menu that lists all of my accounts is not showing up when I click, this is a problem because I cannot access my school gmail.

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Then delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
