DTD not available during deployment

Hello
We had a problem that during the deployment of our ear, some dtd's of struts where not accessible on the internet. It seems that xml files are validated, during deployment, so the application was not deployed properly.
Is there a way to either :
- configure the container that no validatio should be done when deploying the ear
- put the dtd in the application itself, so we don't depend on the struts site wether we can deploy or not
grtz
Chris.

The problem is I am trying to use JavaMail in an EJB and it gives me the error if I create a javax.mail.Session. If I comment out the Session, deployment is fine. I am thinking that maybe the problem is I am using 8i version 8.1.5 and it only supports java 1.1.8.

  • Content Selector is not loading during deployment

    Hi Alll,
I am using weblogic portal 10.2 and MySQL 5.0.
I have created content selector during developement using workshop.
and deployed the same EAR in Staging server.
But content selector is not loaded after deployment.
I got confirmation after checking adminconsole ->> Content Selectors(Which will be displayed in home page of admin console after login)
And i can see that , other changes ,,JSP Changes...are reflected as part of deployment.
Please let me know what might be the poblem, for not loading content selector??
Is there any number of restrictions on number of content selectors for an environment??
    Srinivas

    hi
production mode does have the behavior you see, and there are good reasons why this must be so.
You mean to say, we need to propagate Content selectors from STAGING to PRODUCTION??Yes you need to propagate from an environment which has all the data you want correctly to your production environment. You can scope the propagation to only Content Selectors (if you want, the documentation has data how you can do this) and you can run this via GUI or via ANT.

  • [SOLVED] LVM physical volume not available during early boot

    Note to self:
Of course it's not available - it's in an encrypted LVM container!
    Hi,
I'm trying to get myself a working hibernate but I'm stuck on resume hook not seeing my swap partition.
The swap partition is on an LVM logical volume (LV) which is on one physical volume PV created on a different harddrive than the root partition is. During the bootup I get something similar to "ERROR: hibernation partition '/dev/mapper/volgrp-swap' not found".
Further debugging gave out that for some reason the early userspace has no access to LVM physical volume. I managed to run a shell using break=premount boot parameter. From there I found out that "lvm pvscan" shows no physical volumes at all. I suspect that mkinitcpio does not give a damn about non-root harddrive though I was unable to confirm that and neither was I able to find any other reason for this behaviour.
    Relevant lines from mkinitcpio.conf:
    MODULES="dm_mod btrfs"
HOOKS="base udev block lvm2 autodetect keyboard encrypt resume filesystems fsck"
Any help would be appreciated, including any tips on where to get more debug data.
    cheers,

Yes I have root=/dev/mapper/hdgroup0-volroot, and its in fstab (not that fstab is even being read)
root delay wouldn't help at all because after it drops me to a busybox shell I can't do a manual mount.

  • OVM 3.3.1:  NFS storage is not available during repository creation

Hi, I have OVM Manager  running on a separate machines managing 3 servers running OVM server  in a server pool. One of the server also exports a NFS share that all other machines are able to mount and read/write to. I want to use this NFS share to create a OVM repository but so far unable to get it to work.
From this first screen shot we can see that the NFS file system was successfully added under storage tab and refreshed.

Actually, OVM, as is with all virtualization servers, is usually only the head on a comprehensive infrastructure. OVM seems  quite easy from the start, but I'd suggest, that you at least skim trough the admin manual, to get some understanding of the conecpts behind it.  OVS thus usually only provides the CPU horse power, but not the storage, unless you only want to setup a single-server setup. If you plan on having a real multi-server setup, then you will need shared storage.
The shared storage for the server pool, as well as the storage repository can be served from the same NFS server without issues. If you want to have a little testbed, then NFS is for you. It lacks some features that OCFS2 benefits from, like thin provisioning, reflinks and sparse files.
If you want to remove the NFS storage, then you'll need to remove any remainders of any OVM object, like storage repositories or server pool filesystems. Unpresent and storage repo and delete it afterwards… Also, I hope that you didn't  create the NFS export directly on the root of the drive, since OVM wants to remove any file on the NFS export and on any root of ony volume there's the lost-found folder, which OVM, naturally, can't remove. Getting rid of such a storage repo can be a bit daunting…

There are two things I observer here.
              1. The ResourceAdapter class does not seem to be found by Weblogic. It's part of the javax.resource.spi package.
I checked the weblogic.jar archive in the WL-HOME/server/lib folder. It does not seem to have the class. Why ?
              2. It complains about the ManagedConnectionFactory not being found. Am assuming that if the RA was deployed
in the first place, I would not have seen this error (coz, the ManagedConnectionFactory would have been
deployed in the previous step). Right ?
I did observe that WL 7.0 supports only JCA 1.0. In JCA 1.0's (public) API, there is no mention of the
javax.resource.spi.ResourceAdapter class, though the spec talks about it. ??
Note: I had designed and implemented my RA as per JCA 1.5 (but nothing 1.5-specific, I guess).
              Any ideas ?
              thanks,
              raghu

I figured it out. Darn simple.
My ManagedConnectionFactory implementation referenced ResourceAdapter as
it has to implement the ManagedConnnectionFactory interface of JCA 1.5.
In JCA 1.0 (which is supported by WL 7.0 & 8.1), the ResourceAdapater
is undefined. Hence, the classloading problem.
              Sorry for any confusion.

  • Rulebases not available when deploying OPA 10.2 on Weblogic

    Hi,
Before upgrading to version 10.2 of determinations-server.war I was running 10.1 deployed to WLS 10.3. I used the java option -Ddeterminations.server.rulebase.dir to point out where rulebases should be loaded from. After switching to 10.2 thiss setting doesn't work.
When using the documented settings for classpath loading in application.properties I set up
    load.rulebase.from.claspath=true
    rulebase.path=rulebases
As I understand it the directory rulebases is seached for in CLASSPATH of WLS so I added the directory C:\bea\user_projects\domains\windomain to CLASSPATH of WLS. windomain contains a directory "rulebases" containing my working rulebases.
When listing rulebases nothing is available.
The war is deployed unexploded and this is the way the customer wants it. I wish to just modify application.properties so classpath loading works and have the rulebases on the file system.
Similar post hinting this should work: Error installing web-determinations 10.1.0.27 on WLS 10.3.3

C:\bea\user_projects\domains\windomain is located in CLASSPATH. (which I see in startup log)
C:\bea\user_projects\domains\windomain\rulebases contains my zipfiles which are working if i deploy exploded war.
My war file is located in C:\bea\user_projects\domains\windomain\autodeploy
    application.properties is set according to
    load.rulebase.from.claspath=true
    rulebase.path=rulebases
I have also tried setting CLASSPATH to C:\bea\user_projects\domains\windomain\rulebases without any positive result.
At least one more colleague has tried the same approach with trying to load rulebases from CLASSPATH (WLS), but with no success. We have tried Windows, Solaris and Linux without success.
The log shows the following, which it also does if I deploy exploded.

  • Drop Ship across OUs - Operating Unit not available during Requisition Import

    Hi,
I am trying to execute Drop Shipment across OUs on Vision Instance R12.1.1.
    1)      Responsibility - Order Management Super User, Vision Operations (USA)
Create SO in Vision Operations. In Others tab selected Warehouse as D1 ( Singapore Distribution Centre ). Line Item Source Type is External.
Order Booked. Order line status is 'Awaiting Receipt'.
    2)      Responsibility - Purchasing Super User.
             Request - Requisition Import.
Issue - The Operating Unit LOV for Requisition Import is listing only 'Vision Operation'. The OU 'Singapore Distribution Centre' is not listed.
The responsibility Purchasing Super User has access to Org D1.
Please refer to attached screenshots for details.
Kindly help me with this process.

We are on Oracle EBS 11.5.10 and the requirement is that the US OU wants to drop ship a SO from our supplier in Japan(not part of Oracle installation) directly to our OU in Canada. (part of same Oracle installation). As per as per Oracle Order management users guide 11i; pg 1-7 drop ship across OU's and SOB's is possible. (Introduction chapter.) However when I read metalink note 225434.1, this is not possible. This looks to be a drawback with Oracle EBS since it is a very common requirement with most business going global these days. However, I may be wrong and the flow might very well be supported. If anybody has an idea, and provide some insights if this is supported in oracle or if there is a workaround available it would be appreciated.
*****Update******** I could create a Drop Ship So with Receiving Warehouse in another operating unit; I could also create the Internal Requistion and PO in the shipping OU. Also, the Payables Invoices to Selling OU was created. AR invoice against the Drop SO billed to Shipping OU was created. However I am still stuck as to the generation of Intercompany AR invoice. Also, I am wondering why is there a need for Intercompany AR invoice when the AR invoice is issued against the Drop SO?
Edited by: user12214874 on Feb 16, 2012 12:34 PMMy question is why would US OU want to drop ship to Canada OU...why can't canada OU directly raise a PO to a supplier in Japan??

  • CLASSPATH not taken during deployment

I created an ejb and while deploying I get error.
    Following are the steps done
    - did "ejbc" of the class files and created a jar(jar A) file.
    (for an jb).
    - The utility classes are wrapped into another (jarB).
    - The jarA is deployed in "C:\iPlanet\ias6\ias\JAR"
while jarB is in a different directory.
When the jarA is opened using the deployment tool, i get an error
"The following entries are incorrectly packaged or have external

When I try to deploy it the tool spits out errors saying that the
utility files in jarB could not be found.
I updated the CLASSPATH in the registry under SOFTWARE\iPlanet\6.0\Java.

    Hi,
On the Windows platform you will have to add the JAR files to the
IAS_CLASSPATH in deploytool.bat. This is one way. Another way is to open up
deploytool and go to Edit>Preferences and set the complete path for your Jar
file. Click on apply and it will include the classes in the Jar file into
    its classpath.
    Rgds,
    Irfan.

  • PLANT NOT AVAILABLE DURING MIGO PURCHASE ORDER

    Hello,
When selecting a PO during MIGO

Hello, for your information, if PO line items with GR-based-IV indicator ON (EKPO-WEBRE) the MSEG-LFBNR field will be updated with the GR document number.
For PO line items without the GR-based-IV indicator, the MSEG-LFBNR field will remain blank.
    Thats the standard behavior!
    Cheers!

  • Turnkey option not available during install

I'm attempting to install ES on my laptop. However during the install process I specify that I'm installing on Windows and it goes straight to the PDF Generator configuration screen. It never prompts me to perform the turnkey installation. Any idea why?

Have you installed a older version by any chance?
If you did, make sure to delete the content of the C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Universal\Adobe.
That should take care of it.
