Jazn.xml DTD not available (broken URL)

In OC4J 9.0.2 production and 9.0.3 preview the file j2ee/home/config/jazn.xml has the following DOCTYPE tag:
<!DOCTYPE jazn PUBLIC "JAZN Config" "http://xmlns.oracle.com/ias/dtds/jazn.dtd">
Presently--May 16, 2002--the URL http://xmlns.oracle.com/ias/dtds/jazn.dtd does not exist on Oracle's website. I don't know if it was there before or not, but you better put it there soon!

Scott,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We'll put it up shortly.

  • DTD not available during deployment

    Hello
We had a problem that during the deployment of our ear, some dtd's of struts where not accessible on the internet. It seems that xml files are validated, during deployment, so the application was not deployed properly.
Is there a way to either :
    - configure the container that no validatio should be done when deploying the ear
    - put the dtd in the application itself, so we don't depend on the struts site wether we can deploy or not
    grtz
    Chris.

The problem is I am trying to use JavaMail in an EJB and it gives me the error if I create a javax.mail.Session. If I comment out the Session, deployment is fine. I am thinking that maybe the problem is I am using 8i version 8.1.5 and it only supports java 1.1.8.

  • Xml files not available for import

Is there a way to open xml files from fcp 7 in fcp x without purchasing the 3rd party ap 7 to x? I read that some of the past updates were supposed to resolve this issue but it has yet to work for me. I am runnin fcp x 10.0.7 on OS X 10.7.5. The files that I saved to my desktop are not selectable in the import xml option in fcp x. Please help!!

Is there a way to open xml files from fcp 7 in fcp x without purchasing the 3rd party ap 7 to x?
No. FCPX uses a quite different XML structure. You need 7toX.

  • XSQL XML demos not finding relative URLs

I finally have the XML demos running under OAS 4.0.8.1 (while waiting for IAS on NT) but none of the relative URL references in the demo files work unless I map a virtual path to every directory.
Mapping /demo to e:\xsql\demo allows me to bring up the demo page listing all demos but none will work.
If I then map /airport to e:\xsql\demo\airport the airport demo will work form the demo page.
What is the proper set of virtual paths to map.

IAS 1.0 has Apache 1.3.x + Jserv 1.1, you could download this version for Windows NT from Apache Web Site. There aren't differences from IAS to Apache on windows NT except for Oracle iCache.

  • Size limitation for system-jazn.xml

    Hi helping hands,
In sytem-jazn-data.xml and users-properties.xml , I want to include 1 lakh users. When I tried 1 lakh users, the bpel engine is not getting restarted.
However I tried with 50k list of users, it works very fine.
Is there any file size limitations are there for those 2 files.
Could you suggest me an idea.
    Regards
    Viki

    Hi,
I had to lookup what 1 lakh means and it appears to be 100.000? You should not put that many users in the system-jazn.xml file, not even 1000. It results in poor performance. You definitly should switch to OID or any other third party ldap server if you have that many users.
    Kind Regards,
    Andre

You give two feed URLs: in neither case is there a file present on the server. You say you changed the feed: did you place the 'itunes:new-feed-url' tag in the old feed to redirect iTunes? In any case since there is no file present in either case the Store would be unable to read the feed and your podcast appears to have been removed from the Store as a consequence.
You will now need to start again from scratch: once you have a working feed you will have to submit it as an entirely new podcast. You will need to change the title slightly or you will be told it has already been submitted.
Before submitting you should check that your feed works by subscribing to it manually in iTunes, from the File menu in v11 or the Advanced menu in earlier versions.

  • How to paste DTD in XML file. (not reference to .dtd file)

    Hello!
I create XML file using DOM. How can I create DTD on the top of the file?
I need the DTD, not a reference to it. So the next method won't work.
transformer.setOutputProperty(OutputKeys.DOCTYPE_SYSTEM, "Resources\\Settings\\projectFile.dtd") since it is paste a reference to .dtd file. It means that if user moves XML file to other place he need to move .dtd file also, and I don't want this method. I want paste next DTD
    <!DOCTYPE project [
                        <!ELEMENT project (component*) >
                        <!ELEMENT component ANY >
                        <!ATTLIST component id  ID  #REQUIRED >
]>from the .dtd file on the top of my XML file. How can I do this?
    Thank you.

I've found that by opening a inputstream to the XML file and wrapping it to filter the DTD out altogether and passing that inputstream to JAXB does the trick.
this seems actually faster, since it doesn't go off on the net to look for the dtd!
is this not catered for already somewhere??
    thanks,

Downloaded a movie on the iPad, played it once. Now get error message the "url not available on this server".  How do I fix?

Where did you rent them from?
iTunes?  If so are they downloaded enough that they can be played?
If from another App, its best to contact the App developer.

  • XML-RPC Service is not available

I'm experiencing a problem where CF 8.01 will not start. the log shows the message "The XML-RPC service is not available. This exception is usually caused by service startup failure. Check your server configuration."
I traced this to a corrupted /lib/neo-xmlrpc.xml file; the structures being generated when I consume a local web service are malformed. If I reinitialize this file to its form as created when CF is installed, CF will start.
Below is an example of the corrupted structure:
    <wddxPacket version='1.0'><header/><data><array length='3'><struct type='coldfusion.server.ConfigMap'><var name='http:// 123.123.123.2<char code='0d'/><char code='0d'/><char code='0a'/>        /common/verifyUser.cfc?wsdl'><string>http:// 123.123.123.2<char code='0d'/><char code='0d'/><char code='0a'/>        /common/verifyUser.cfc?wsdl</string></var></struct><struct type='coldfusion.server.ConfigMap'><var name='http:// 123.123.123.2<char code='0d'/><char code='0d'/><char code='0a'/>        /common/verifyUser.cfc?wsdl'><string></string></var></struct><struct type='coldfusion.server.ConfigMap'><var name='http:// 123.123.123.2<char code='0d'/><char code='0d'/><char code='0a'/>        /common/verifyUser.cfc?wsdl'><string></string></var></struct></array></data></wddxPacket>
The corruption is occurring on my developer installation on a windows xp machine. If I execute the same code on my standard server edition running on Windows Server, the structure for the same verifyUser web service looks like this:
    <var name='http://123.123.123.1/common/verifyUser.cfc?wsdl'><string></string></var>
On both machines I'm running CF version 8,0,1,195765 with updates chf8010003.jar and hf801-1875.jar.
Has anyone else seen this or have any ideas on how to correct?

You're right. Here's what was happening:
My cfinvoke included webservice="http://#APPLICATION.server_ip_address#/common/verifyUser.cfc?wsdl".  I was using the same code to extract the IP address, but different operating systems. So when I populated APPLICATION.server_ip_address without trimming, I was getting extraneous trailing garbage on the XP server version.
    Thanks.

I just upgraded to Yosemite. Iphoto is now broken.  Upon upgrade receiving error "This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled."

Perform the following, stopping with the first one which works:
    1. Open the Mac App Store's Purchases tab. If you're prompted to accept iPhoto into your Apple ID, do so.
    2. Move it out of the Applications folder(it may need to be put into the Trash temporarily), and then see if you can download it for free from its individual product page.
    3. Click here and contact Apple.

    If I put this in:

    However when I put

    I get this error:

    John

Well here is something really weird. If I change it to:
            <servlet-name>Milwaukee Travel Times</servlet-name>
            <url-pattern>/test/traveltimes.do</url-pattern>and go to http://localhost/testLINK/test/traveltimes.do

Any ideas on where I can go from here?

Is there any way to make the document model NOT attempt to read the DTD ???

setValidating(false) has no effect on checking against the DTD.
create your own EntityResolver rather than using new XMLResolver(): in this resolver divert the call to the DTD on an empty XML document.
i have shown how to do so in another thread, just run a search on this forum (this hint is valid for any question btw)

Anybody know what's up with the menu.xml.files not being available for DW after installing on a new comp?

Usually that error can be cleared up by renaming the personal config folder. Turn on your OS's hidden files and then go to...
    C: > Users > your username > AppData > Roaming > Dreamweaver (version) > your language > configuration
Rename the configuration folder configuration-old and start DW up. That should create an entirely new configuration folder and correct the menu.xml file.
