DTR Conflict while upgrading CRM ISA 5.0 to SP19 - Missing stylesheet

Hi All,
I am working on CRM ISA 5.0 upgrade from SP11 to SP19 in a new track. I have resolved all conflicts except one file stylesheet_ff.css.
It was present in earlier SP version in this path - DCs/sap.com/crm/tc/web/appbase/_comp/src/packages/mimes/stylesheet_ff.css.
As it not present in the SP19 components now, I am not able to resolve it.
After we saw that application was working fine in Development system, we thought of sending everything to Quality environment. Basis people were able to consolidate all changes but got errors while trying to assemble all components.
Here is the log of failed assembly of SHRWEB component -

In order to resolve this conflict, I created stylesheet_ff.css file at path crm/tc/web/appbase/_comp/src/packages/mimes/stylesheet_ff.css. It didn't resolve our issue because for newly created stylesheet_ff.css file's current version is the first version. Hence I am not able to see any conflict in its version graph from NWDS.
I have raised an SAP OSS message asking why was this stylesheet remove and got a response as mentioned here
The reason for this is the changed CSS determination to support more
browsers (see also note 881967). How the CSS determination works now is
described in note 1427396.
In general the content of stylesheet_ff.css has been moved to
base_stylesheet.css. It is the base for all browsers, because at the
time of the change, Firefox was the only big browser really adhared to
the W3C standard.
All other style sheets are only the delta. They are included after the
base_stylesheet and the entries in the delta style sheet are overwritingthe entries in the base_stylesheet. This is also the reason why the ie9
style sheet is so small.
I can understand SAP's response, however because of this unresolved conflict we are facing issues in assembly.
Please help.
Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    I'm upgrading initscripts first, as mentioned in another posting relating to the same problem. But this gives those errors (files already existing)

    hwids: /usr/share/hwdata/usb.ids existiert im Dateisystem
    Upgrading hwids alone still creates the same error. So what to do?

    Seems the proper thing to do would be to upgrade everything at once with pacman -Syu

  • How to create new field while upgrading from CRM 4.0 to 7.0

    Hi ,
    How do we create new field on UI and store data into existing field in database?
    Is there any option in AET to skip the creation of new field in the database table ?
    Custom field is already created in GUI and database table while using CRM 4.0
    Now, after upgrading to 7.0 EHP3 , I need to bring this field on the UI .
    Using AET may create new field again in the database table.Please suggest.
    New filed needed to be created in Marketing Campaign Element Header data.
    Thanks
    Jayasri

    Hi Jayasri,
    As a custom fields are already there in crm 4.0. You don't need to use AET again to add field.
    These enhancements still exist after the upgrade. Dependent on the enhancement object and type some manual steps are necessary.
    For example regarding a single field enhancement for the BP the whole framework is enhanced after the upgrade. There is only one manual step to bring the field on the relevant view(s) via the UI Configuration Tool. For whole BP tables some more manual steps are necessary, these steps are described in the note 1069791 - CRM WebClient UI for EEW enhancements (reference to more notes regarding the EEW after the upgrade).
    For set types, we need to generate UI With the help of the UI configuration tool the settypes could become visible in the Web UI.
    I didn't understood your scenario, can add little more information why you want to add field by AET if available in DB?

    Hi Janos,
    Copy files from another Oracle Software is not a wise idea. Even if this would work, it is an unsupported way. No one could predict what would happen later on.
    I said to rsync the file systems not to copy specific files, If you rsync the file system (Oracle_home) it syncs all the binaries without any difference between source and target. It doesn't require uninstallation and re-installation of Oracle.
    Deinstalling and reinstalling the Oracle Software is the most easiest and quickest supported way
    I did this rsync even on new systems where Oracle was not installed, it worked all the times without any issue.
    Never mind - It is just another solution to resolve the issue and not to challenge

  • Row size of Structure in CRM ISA

    Hi Guys,
    I want to iterate a Structure on Java side of CRM ISA but I don't know the row size of that structure. Could you please tell me how to get the row size or length of that structure so that I can iterate the structure. Or if there is any other method to iterate or get the multiple values from the structure please tell me.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sunil Patidar

    Are you trying to iterate through the fields of the structure?  If so there appears to be a .fields() method on the structure object that gives you a JCO.Iterator.  You can try something like this:
    JCO.FieldIterator fields = sapStructure.fields();
    while (fields.hasNextFields()) {
              JCO.Field fld = fields.nextField();
              String fieldName = fld.getName();
              String fieldVal = recordField.getValue();
    I've never tried this before so I don't know if its what you need.

  • How to upgrade custom ISA 6.0 applications to 7.0 Ehp2

    Hi All,
    I have some doubts regarding CRM E-commerce (ISA and ICSS) upgrade from 6.0 to 7.0 ehp2 and setting up track for upgrade.
    Let me expalin our current scenario below;
    currently we are running on CRM 6.0 and ISA 6.0 sp17. We have almost 9 separate ISA aaplications for different countries since different type of custom changes are for each countries. Unfortunately we don't have track infrastructure as of now and all our 9 applications are local EAR projects and we are doing changes using NWDS and deploying each applications directly to DEV, QAS, PROD systems.
    We understood Its high time for us to move to Track based development. Currently Basis is upgrading our systems to CRM 7.0 Ehp2.
    Now we have task in front of us; one is creating track in new upgraded landscape and Upgrading our ISA e-commerce application components to CRM 7.0 Ehp2
    Please answer my questions below.
    1. Can I import my Local Projects in to Track ; if so how?. Is there any easy method to convert my local projects to DC(Since only DC's we can put to track)?  Can I import all my 9 applications in to one track or do I have to create separate track for each application?
    2. If I create one track for custom application(6.0+ my custom changes) and one track for standard 7.0 ehp2, can I merge these 2 tracks together for upgrading to 7.02 . Will it replace all standard changes in 6.0 with 7.02 automatically?
    3. Last but most worrying question is;
    If we create an SCA file from our custom Application(6.0 verson)  and then import into a new TRACK, then the TRACK will have our Custom Application.
    Then if we do an upgrade by importing the latest version of the standard SCA file, will NWDI merging/collission identification process works well? I mean will it identify our SCA and do the replacement and adjustments on the standard code part?
    Please help us on this as this is a very urgent requirement
    Thanking you in advance

  • I am getting old values after changind the data in CRM ISA B2B.

    Hi,
    I am modifying Standard CRM ISA B2B application. Under "My Account" section. there are two options 1) Password change and 2) Address Change.
    I changed "addresschange.jsp" for Look and feel. I also changed Telephone and Fax input filed by braking them into three input field and made Standard telephone and fax field to hidden. Through Java script I am taking value from Standard file and braking them into 3 part and then display in appropriate field also while saving the record I am taking value from three input fields and assigned to standard field before saving the changes.
    When  I click on Submit button after making changes to name, phone or any field I am getting success  message that your record has been updated successfully but when I revisit it I am getting the old values.
    pl. guide me How  I can resolve this issue?
    Thanks.
    Ashish Patel.

    Hi Gareth
    My understanding is that you want to store some extra attribute for items in your CRM catalog and want to display that extra attribute in the list page ei ProductISA.jsp. If this is all you need to do, then good thing is you dont need to make any changes to any business object class.
    Define a custom attribute in CRM catalog and assign its value. You may need to republish the catalog once you've done this.
    On the Java side to access this extra attribute you can use the following code.
    WebCatItem item = (WebCatItem) lstItems.get(nCount);
    String strOrderCD = item.getAttribute("ZORDERCODE");
    getAttribute() method reads the value of any custom parameter you may define in your CRM catalog. In case you want to send some extra data to CRM, you'll need to use the addExtensionData() method and would need to handle this extra info in the corresponding BADI.
    Cheers

  • CRM - ISA customization

    Hi
    I am new to this CRM- Internet Sales Application.  My client requiremnt is to modify the existing ISA Application.  Client installed NWDI-NWDS successfully.  They have created the track in the NWDI and imported into the NWDS.
    Here , I am not understand how can we figure-out which component we need to modify for the customization.
    For example , which java file , par file ...
    If anybody having idea on the CRM-ISA applications please share it with me.
    Sure.. points will be rewareded
    Thanks
    Ravi

    Hi Fredrik,
    the configuration files are kept outside of the application folder and even after upgrading it the configuration will not get lost - that is the main idea behind the XCM tool.
    If you deploy a new ear (or even the already deploy one) you have two possible answer:
    - re-configure the new application
    - or use the old configuration
    To reconfigure the application you can just start the XCM took and proceed as you did with the first application.
    If you want to use the same (old) configuration you can just change one line in the WEB.XML file of the new one and the new application will be pointed to use the configuration files of the old one. I hope that this was lear enough.
    In other words, after you deploy the first application a new folder will be created and this folder will contain three XML files with all the application configuration: please check the following path <j2ee instance>sys/global/xcm/crm.b2b in case you deploy the standard b2b application.
    If you deploy the next application (named b2b_fredrik) another folder will be generated: sys/global/xcm/crm.fredrik - this folder will contain the configuration of the newly deployed application. But as I said if you want to use the old b2b configuration please open the web.xml file of both application and check how are these sys/global/xcm paths maintained - just make sure that the customer.* parameter contains the same path as in the B2B web.xml.
    After you restart the application you can use it.
    cheers

  • XCM Settings for CRM ISA 4.0 SP10

    Hi !
    We are currently upgrading a CRM 4.0 ISA application from SP5 to SP10. The XCM settings for the vanilla 'b2c' webshop has been completed and the vanilla 'b2c' application  has been extended to a new b2c application using the old extended application files with the new 'buildtool'. However, when we try to run the extended b2c project, after successfully deploying the new .ear file, we get an error that the XCM settings couldn't be found. The vanilla 'b2c' application runs perfectly though.
    Could anyone with experience in CRM 4.0 ISA application SP10 list any unique steps to get the extended XCM data for the extended application correctly in the 'web.xml' file ?
    Cheers,
    Ashok.

    Hi Amit,
    The config path for "%sys.global.dir%/xcm/${com.sap.dc_name}" should normally point to the standard XCM settings and ideally it should be outside the folder structure of the application (ie) not within either <Inst-Dir>:\usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\crm.b2c\servlet_jsp\b2c\root\WEB-INF
    or <Inst-Dir>:\usr\sap\SID\SYS\global\xcm\crm.b2c. Prior to CRM ISA 4.0 SP6, context parameters would determine this path during each deployment. This would ensure that an extended application would always point back to the standard XCM settings rather than having to maintain multiple XCM settings for each extended application. The reply from SAP OSS suggests that post CRM ISA 4.0 SP6, XCM settings would have to be maintained for each extended application (something that SAP supports) or the value of the config path of "%sys.global.dir%/xcm/${com.sap.dc_name}" should be changed individually for each extended application using the visual administrator to point to the standard XCM settings (something that SAP suggests as a work around but doesn't support).
    Again, this problem is mainly caused by the fact that the context parameter of the XCM settings during deployment of any application has been removed from the SDM post CRM ISA 4.0 SP5. Removal of this context parameter from the SDM means that one would have to adopt either approach as suggested by SAP as above.
    I hope this helps others out there who are migrating from a pre CRM ISA 4.0 SP6 to a post CRM ISA 4.0 SP6.
    Cheers,
    Ashok.

  • Challenges while Upgrading from OBIEE 10g to 11g

    Hi Gurus,
    This is Kiran again. This time I am back with the upgradation issues. We have a client which is currently on OBIEE 10g. All components are already configured in OBIEE 10g with client on RPD, Catalog and implemented all security levels for those.
    Now the challenge is to upgrade all activities which we have configured in OBIEE 10g. I have seen lot of stuff online and understood how to upgrade from OBIEE 10g to OBIEE 11g by simply clicking on ua.bat file. But I am unable to understand the process how it is upgrading the securities and environments.
    Can anyone help me out by providing necessary stuff I need to take care of before taking the decision to upgrade from OBIEE 10g to 11g.
    And also please clear me whether we will have any challenges in upgrading process. If yes, then what kind of challenges we will face and what kind of necessary steps we need to implement to resolve it.
    What kind of Architecture we need to follow?
    How Schedulers will get upgraded?
    Please help me out with your real experiences (Not the online websites). Your response will be highly appreciated and it will help lot of OBIEE professionals who are in the process of upgradation.
    Thanks in Advance to all OBIEE GURUS.

    Job Name is : RDDCP4TB
    please help how can i proceed further ..
    regards
    sachin

    Hi sachin,
    Need to check couple of things here.
    1.check for the back ground work process.
    2.check the free space in /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global .if there is no free space to write the job log then backgorund job will not run.
    3.Also check for the free space in archive log directory
    paste the log for this particular phase so that we can analyze further.
    Thanks and Regards,
    -Bijesh.

  • Error while upgrading the patch from RMS 13.1.1.1 to RMS 13.1.1.2

    Hi,
    While upgrading the rms dbschema from 13.1.1.1 to RMS 13.1.1.2 we are getting the following error update ALC_FREIGHT_COST table or view doesnt exist.
    We have checked the data model of rms 13.1.1 and rms 13.1.2 and we couldnt find the table "ALC_FREIGHT_COST."
    So anybody could give suggestions on this.
    Appreciate your help
    Thanks,
    Suresh

    I'd ignore the error for the moment and file an SR with OracleSupport to make them aware of the issue and release a better script - all of this assuming that your 13.1.1 starting point is valid and correctly installed.
    Additionally you can locate the SQL upgrade script that is actually trying to do something on the mentioned table, and grasp what it is trying to achieve and how relevant that is for you.
    The table exists in our 13.0.3 setup. The release notes of 13.1.0 mention a rework of cost component functionality, so seems like it was deprecated in that release.
    Best regards,
    Erik
