Duplicate Records error when processing transaction file....BPC 7.0

Hi All,
I have a situation. I am using BPC NW 7.0 and I have updated my dimension files. When I try to validate my transaction file every single record is validated successfully. But when I try to import the flat file into my application, I am getting a lot of dupplication records error and these are my questions.
1. Will we get duplicate records in transaction files?
2. Even if there are duplication, since it is a cube it should summarize not display that as a error and reject records?
3. Is there something I can do to accept duplicates (I have checked the Replace option in the data package, to overwrite the simillar records, but it is only for account, category and entity only.
5. In mycase I see identical values in all my dimension and the $value is the only difference. Why is it not summing up.

I have the same problem.
In my case the file that I want to upload has different row that differ for the nature column. In the conversion file I map different nature to one internal nature.
ES: cost1 --> cost
cost2 --> cost
cost3 --> cost
In my desire was that in BPC the nature cost assume the result cost = cost1 + cost2 + cost3.
The result is that only the first record is uploaded and all other recorda are rejected as duplicate.
Any suggestion?

Is it that WCF-NET TCP adapter only processes Xml file? I am trying to send x12 message through Send port wth Passthrough Pipeline and Net-Tcp configuration, but fails for invalid root node error: (below)
Send Port is subscribing to a Receive Port which has pass through on receive with File adapter ( I don't want to do EDI receive when receiving this file - just to convert it to Xml)
A message sent to adapter "WCF-NetTcp" on send port "port......._InputPassThru_snd" with URI "net.tcp://localhost:808/totemp" is suspended.
Error details: System.Xml.XmlException: Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1.

The thing is, if you're using the WCF Net-TCP adapter, the receive is expecting a SOAP formatted message over TCP. The Net-TCP binding is 'binary' because there is no encoding layer, but the message is still SOAP.
If you really need to send binary data over TCP, you would use the BizTalk TCP/IP Adapter from CodePlex:

Classic duplicate key error when processing dimensions

I have a dimension attribute that has a list of values below
atlanta
atlanta
Atlanta
Atlanta
Atlanta
ATLANTA
it has caused the duplicate key errors. I've checked the colloation property of AS server and it's set to Latin1_general with case-sensitive UNCHECKED.... I wonder why I still get this type of errors?

You would need to use a case-sensitive collation for these not to be considered duplicates and even then, on closer inspection, I still see duplicates in your data. There are only three distinct case-sensitive values out of the six examples you've
provided: atlanta, Atlanta, and ATLANTA.

This option will be available only for Master Data and not for Transactional Data. You could control the Duplicate Records for Transactional Data in ODS, there is an option in the ODS Settings.

From BW 3.0 you can determine for DataSources for master data attributes and texts whether the extractor transfers more than one data record in a request for a value belonging to time-independent master data.
Independently of the extractor settings (the extractor potentially delivers duplicate data records) you can use this indicator to tell the BW whether or not you want it to handle any duplicate records.
This is useful if the setting telling the extractor how to handle duplicate records is not active, but the system is told from another party that duplicate records are being transferred (for example, when data is loaded from flat files).

I realize this is a rather old discussion, but I wonder if you know whether running transaction SGEN to generate the loads for either all web dynpros or just a particular transport containing a custom web dynpro would resolve the slow response time and timeout. After a customer message with SAP, this was their suggestion, however our Basis team is skeptical that this will have the desired effect. We noticed the issue when moving from development to QA so we won't know if this is the solution until we try it in production upon go-live.

Connection Specific Error When Processing Device Address Book

Hi,
I am using Desktop Manager 4.5 and am getting a "connection Specific Error" on an 8310 when synchronizing a Device Address Book with the desktop. I get this error when processing record 43 of the 374 record of the address book. Is there a way to edit/remove the record on the device to work around the problem versus losing all the records and starting over. I have already cleared the file on the device and restored from the desk top, but apparently the backup also contains a copy of the corrupt record. This must be a common problem. Can any one refer me to a help file that will walk me through a solution?

we are implementing SMI scenario with SNC 5.1, we have created in SNC Web UI a Replenishment Order and we have published it now Iu2019m trying to create an ASN releted to that RO but I have another strange error with ASN, could you please have a look and tell me your opinion?
From RO details I click on u201CCreate ASN for Itemsu201D, I insert all the information needed and all checks are successifully passed, but when I try to publish it the following error screen appears me.
This error appears also when I try to save a draft of the ASN.

Hi,
You need to Publish the services in a proper sequence, then only it will get activated.
Also switch between SAP GUI for windows and SAP gui for HTML, because if you are accessing the system through network, problem may arise.
Try switching between these launchpads, might help you.
Publish the WEBGUI first, SHUFFLER then, and dont forget to publish completely, else it wont work.

Duplicate record error

I am using a ODS as source to update the master data infoobject with flexible update. The issue is in spit of using option ONLY PSA ( Update subsequently in data target ) in the infopackage with error handling enabled, I am getting Duplicate record error. This happens only when I am updating through process chain. If I run it manually, the error doesn't comes. Plz let me know the reason.

As we r loading from ODS to info object we dont get the option "don't update duplicate records if exists"
first did u checked any duplicate records found in PSA?? if so delete them from PSA.
or one option is enable error handling in infopackage.
or
check any incosistencies for infoobject in RSRV and if found repair it and load again. check the inconsistencies for P,X,Y tables and for the complete object also.

URL error when processing request ITS 6.40

Hi all
I have a problem at customers site and below is a description of the case. All input in this issue is appreciated of course since I am running out of ideas.
Problem:
When accessing transaction WW20 via internet explorer (http://server.domain:8000/sap/bc/gui/its/ww20?sap-client=100) I got an error when processing request.
It basicly says: Communcatione failure. However ST22 and SM21 does not say anything about this.
The errorcode on the webpage returns:
Error code: ICF-IE-http -c: 100 -u: IAMWEB -I: E -s: KAY -i: ksnoka_70_KAY_01 -w: 0 -d: 20080702 -t: 153240 -v: IMC_CANCEL_TX -e:
note: KAY is SID for the system and ksnoka is the hostname of the windows server.
OBS: Calling transaction WW20 in sapgui localy works fine but not via ITS. Webgui works fine and I have checked follwoing:
- Paramteres in RZ10 - should be ok!
- SICM up and running
- run report RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES in SE38 successfully
- W3_publish_services in SE38 ticked all in package S_webgui and S_ITSP.
Note the WEBGUI service works well;
Also when I run a test link: "http://ksnoka70.corp.kagroupad.com:8000/sap/public/ping" It gives me a message "Server reached successfully" - so I assume it's all ok with the web serwer.
The customer has set up this WW20 transaction as a service in SICF.

BI 7.0 - Duplicate Record Error while loading master data

I am working on BI 7.0 and I am trying to load master data to an info object.
I created an Infopackage and loaded into PSA.
I created transformation and DTP and I get an error after I execute the DTP about duplicate records.
I have read all previous threads about duplicate record error while loading master data and most of the them suggested to check 'Ignore duplicate records' option in the infopackage. But in 7.0, I can only load to PSA with infopackage and it doesn't have any option for me to ignore duplicate records.
My data is getting loaded to PSA fine and I get this error while loading to info object using DTP.
I would appreciate your help to resolve this issue.

Hi All,
I have an issue .. I have done 1:n mapping successfully and would like to place the Send step in loop instead of a Block .. The reason being I have the count of how many times the Send step should executed for multiline.. I need to receive an Acknowledgement for each send step.. If I dont receive the required number of Acknowledgements then .. I need to revert back some Creations which is a business requirement ..
So .. I have initialized a container operation variable i to '0' .. Then the loop condition is i < count .. Send the multi-container .. Receive the Response .. If dont receive the desired response for any one of the multi-line then I need to do a cancellation process in a loop again .. So .. now I am getting an Exception "Error when processing node '0000000065' (ParForEach index 000000)
Message no. SWP088" in the loop step ..
It is fine if somebody can suggest alternate logic can be applied as well but first preference to use a loop which consumes lesser system resources ..

if you use a loop step, you will send one message per time. ussing block step you have parallel processing ussing ParForEach. now is for X reason the item cannot be created, do a roll back in the target system. the problem here you will do the rollback once the last message reach.
the other posibility is to handle application ack in the sender step. it will let you know it the message was processed success and this ack could be the end condition of your block step. but you cannot use this with loop step.

Dear all.
I create a sales order in tcode va01 and input a wbs element E-000009.1 in the field of WBS Element at Account assignment tab of one item detail.When save the sales order,sap pop up a message box with text "Sales order has no CO object".The detail message content was pasted at bottom.When confirm the first message box,sap pop up the second message box with text "Error when processing Network".The detail message content was pasted at bottom.
So I need the experts give me some useful advice and reference to resolve the problem.

1. Check which requirements type in entered in the relevant sales order item
Display sales order
2. Check the settings for this requirements type in Customizing
(See Control sales order-related production).

1.I have checked the sales order and the requ. type was KMNP.In tran OVZH the requ. type KMNP use the ReqCl 202.In tran OVZG I checked the ReqCl 202 and the "Acct.assig.cat." was Q and the Consumption was P.
2.In tran cj20n I checked the wbs element.Its operative indicator was billing elements.
3.In tran mm03 I try to found the field of "req type / strategy".But I could not this field.Could you tell me the "req type / strategy" field was in which view?

Soap response Error when processing XML CF.

Hello,
I have problems with soap response and wondered if you could give some advice.
Every time I send my message via soap I get the following error:
com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP 500 Error when processing XML CF.
Is it possible that the communication is aborted and my response message mapping is never started?
(Additional info: I tried to create an integration process and am not able to evaluate the response.)

did you check logs in visual admin ?
