DVDs for 7.01 after EHP upgrade

Hi Every one,
We have upgraded our systems from NW 7.00 to NW7.01 by EHP upgrades in all releases (Ecc,XI,SM,EP) individually. and we have been using SR3 dvds installation dvds(sapinst,uc,oclient, java etc etc) for system copies and other installation stuff. but as we have moved to NW 701 will we get any newer version DVDs for the same release.I have been searching in market place but their is no such NW 7.01 .So is this means do we still need to use same old dvds which we used for NW 7.00.
Please confirm me.
Thank yu.

  • MSSQL 2008 - Database size getting smaller after EHP upgrade??

    Hi All,
Did anyone observe the DB size of MSSQL 2008 after EHP upgrade?
In my two system, after upgraded to EHP5 and EHP2 respectively, the database is getting smaller compare to before upgrade, estimated 5-10gb.
EHP upgrade is unlike DBEXPORT, it shouldn't have any reorganization features and so do MSSQL.
    Any idea?
    Cheers,
    Nicholas Chang

    > Right after upgrade is smaller and after sgen, db size is bigger than source.
    So it's ok.
    > As system was upgrade from ECC6 to EHP5 with Central Application, HCM and Finance .... the after upgrade size should bigger than the source even before SGEN. Your kind input is mostly welcome.
If the source system was compiled completely (using SGEN) then you need to compare the sizes of the target system also, otherwise you compare apple with pies.
Another reason may be that index compression was activated:
Note 1459005 - Enabling index compression for SQL Server
You could now upgrade to SQL Server 2008 R2 and apply
Note 1488135 - Database compression for SQL Server
    this will save additional space (30 - 50 %).

  • Database history growth not updating after EHP upgrade

    Hi All,
We are using SAP ECC 6.0 (731 - SP09 )  & DB2 Fix pack 5 version.Database history growth not updating after EHP upgrade. I have check  collector job running fin and DB tab > Configuration > Data Collection Framework > Configuration Collector are in green status.
Please help me to resolve this issue.
    Regards,
    MK

    Hi MK,
    You can try few things:
    1. Check to collector standard job like SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR should be running succesfully.
2.If you can check to data collector collection interval column , you will find it to be Not Schedule.
    Try with Repair all collector.
To make it work properly you have to perform
    Data Collection Full
    Data Collection Incremental
    Hope it helps

  • IW31/32/33 screen size reduced/shrinked after EHP upgrade

    Hi!
After an ECC6 EHP upgrade our maintenance order screen's size has been reduced, for some unknown reason.
Is there a way (customizing, setting, etc) to increase it's size back to the old size? At the moment the users have to scroll down to see the technical location or the equipment.
Changing the screen's resolution or resizing the window help a bit, but not much...
At the moment it seem like this (I highlighted with yellow the empty places, which was not empty before the upgrade):
    Thank you
    Tamas

    Check this SAP note.

  • Can I get a DVD for the Lightroom 4.3 upgrade  Harry Abrams

    Can I get a dvd for lightroom4.3?

Probably not.  Lightroom 4.3 is an update for the original release of Lightroom 4.  Adobe doesn't create new installation disks for each update.  But you could download 4.3 can create your own disk.  Why do you need the DVD?

  • Acrobat 9 (from CS4) asking for serial again after OS-upgrade to Yosemite. New installation not possible

Hi all, I feel quite desperate at the moment.
My old CS4 ran perfectly. Now I upgraded my system to Mac OS Yosemite and the trouble began.
First, Acrobat no longer ran properly and asked me to start e.g. Photoshop. What I did. Photoshop and all other CS4 applications no more worked beause of some license issues. I finally fixed this by means of Adobe's tool. I had to re-enter the CS4-Serial and Photoshop, Indesign etc. worked again. Not did Acrobat Pro 9. This application asked me to re-enter the serial. What I did. The serial was not accepted. I tried a thousand times. Then I uninstalled Acrobad Pro 9 and tried to re-install this application from the original CD. This does not work: The setup screen of my CS4 "Design Premium" stopped three times with the grey screen reading "Preparing to install". Other attempts ended up in error messages about JAVA etc. - The DVD simply does not work anymore with the new OS.
Can anyone tell me what to do? My search over Adobe's support pages never led me to a valid contact form or anything of use for this problem.
    Thank you in Advance

A point worth pointing out is that, although CS versions may have included installers for Acrobat they were not for direct use; often (who can remember CS4?) you MUST use the CS installer, which uses the Acrobat installer in a special way; CS licensing is not like Acrobat licensing and Acrobat does not take a CS number. Nevertheless, I'd still advise a restore and not upgrading your OS without being prepared to upgrade everything else. (And it's still very early, this is a very brave/risky thing even for CC licensees).

  • External hard drive for maintaining Mavericks after Yosemite upgrade

    Hey guys,
Here's my situation. I have some software that won't be compatible with Yosemite in the fall but I want to be able to continue to use it as I do with Mavericks. Can I get an external hard drive like G aluminum 1T model and run OSX 10.9.4 and this software on it and still upgrade my mid 2010 macbook pro to Yosemite?
    Thanks,
    Mike

After you get the external drive, attach and open Disk Utility.  Choose the new drive from the left sidebar, then in the main panel choose Partition and set the number of partitions you want...you can use the default of 1 if that is what you want.  Then Name the drive so you can spot it on the desktop.  Format should be Mac OS X Extended (Journaled), and partition table GUID.  Apply and confirm you want to erase the drive.  Close Disk Utility.
Now, you can use a program like Carbon Copy Cloner (now costs $40 but you can use if for free for 30-days) to make a bootable clone of your current drive on the external drive.  That way you have everything from the internal and you can boot your current Mac OS X if you want to or Yosemite after that comes out.
    You will then have options

  • Safari quits unexpectedly for one user after Mavericks upgrade

2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 15" Macbook Pro circa mid-2009
    OS X 10.9.4
    Safari 7.0.5
After the Mavericks upgrade Safari will always stay open for about 30 seconds before crashing and saying "Safari quit unexpectedly". Furthermore, unless I am looking in the wrong place it is not generating a crash log - I have looked in ~/Library/Logs. I have reset Safari and uninstalled all extensions (had ClickToFlash and Adblock). Using a different account on the same machine Safari runs fine. I have done some googling around but have been unable to resolve this.
    Thanks for any help,

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Step 1
For this step, the title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
              View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter the name of the crashed application or process. For example, if iTunes crashed, you would enter "iTunes" (without the quotes.)
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
☞ The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
☞ Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
    Step 2
    In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ User Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of crash reports. The name of each report starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report related to the process in question. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful.

  • CD/DVD Reader Stopped Working After Yosemite Upgrade

My partner and I both have Mac Mini's (late 2012) versions.  They came loaded with Mavericks.  He recently upgraded to Yosemite and I did not.  I have heard there are "Wi-Fi" issues and "don't want to fix something that ain't broke"!!  He connects directly to our ATC, so he doesn't need to be concerned about those issues, however; he came home from getting an Xray yesterday and wanted to copy the CD they gave him.  He's never done that before, so I said: "Sure, give me a blank and I'll burn a copy for you.  Loaded up the Xray CD on his Mac and it started to read then just quit.  The drive did not show up in the sidebar of Finder, like it does in Mavericks.....OK, so let me take the disc into my office and see if I can read.  No problems, the disc loaded right up.  I copied the files into my "Burn Folder"; loaded up the blank and burned all the files to it; just like it's supposed to.  This morning I thought maybe his drive might be bad.  We both have the same external USB 3.0 CD/DVD burners.  Brought the drive and his cable into my office, plugged it in and it took off working like it was supposed to.  So that eliminates the drive and cable.  Took it back into his office and plugged it into a "known" good port on his machine, same thing, no work and had to eject the disc with a paper clip in the eject hole.  Although his machine seems to address the drive (it will start and spin the disc), nothing shows up in his sidebar or desktop.  Help...What's the problem???

This might help. If you haven't done so yet, try installing Apple's SuperDrive Firmware Update 3.0, which is on Apple's support site at http://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201953 to see if that resolves it. Although it's not specifically for that problem, the firmware update seems to be important for making external SuperDrives work in Yosemite, and it is one step I used to get my SuperDrive to work in a USB external case when plugged into my MacBook Pro.
Please let us know either way, whether the firmware update helps or not in your situation.

  • My fix for slow boot after Leopard Upgrade

I was having the same issue as a lot of others in posts about extremely slow boot up times after upgrading from Tiger to Leopard. I spent a lot of time on the phone with Apple Support but in the end I stumbled across a fix for my situation.
After power up and getting to the login screen (about 5-6 seconds), it would take about 3 minutes to fully populate the desktop after entering my password. Most of that time just sitting at the login screen. Extremely painful.
My MacBook connects to a Windows Active Directory network. I was able to fix my slowness by disabling the Active Directory service. I was concerned at first but my bound volumes still work. I don't use a lot of AD services from my Mac so I at this point I have not found any issue with this fix.
To disable, go to Directory Utility, select services and if you have Active Directory enabled, disable it.
My boot time increased from 3 minutes to less than 15 seconds. Better than Tiger.
Tech Support is aware of this issue and has reported it the OS team for a fix.

    Hi-
Do you have a Tiger volume to test your machine with?
Do you still have video in Tiger?
If you don't have a Tiger volume to test on, I would consider such as an important troubleshooting step
So now I am wondering if it is the PCI slot that suddenly stopped working after the OS upgrade. Does anyone know if this is a documented issue and if there is a fix for it?
There are no issues with the AGP slot in relation to an OS version.

  • "Update not available for this id" after Yosemite upgrade

    Hello,
    I have a MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2010) 2,53 GHz Intel Core i5.
I upgraded O/S from Maverick to Yosemite. Now I try to perform latest update, and iMovie, Numbers, Keynote, Pages are listed in the Update list.
However each time I try to update them, AppStore refused with the error "Update is not available for this id..."
I did not change Apple Id since a long time, and performed latest update on Maverick before doing the upgrade.  I checked the "Purchases" tab, these applications are not listed, not sure they were listed before the upgrade. I tried to sign out / sign in with my apple id, still same issue.
Anyone encountered same trouble ? What is the solution to fix this ?
    Thanks,

My previous post should read...Could this be because my iPhone is now linked to the Mac and is recognising that ID?

  • Including SPAU for subsequent systems after the upgrade

    Hello All,
We are upgrading our landscape from 4.7 to ECC6.0 EHP4. We have completed the ugrade of DEV, but forgot to include the SPAU adjustments in the the Postprocessing phase and have completed the Finalization phase. Once the upgrade was completed we have made the SPAU adjustments and included it in a request. We want to include the request in the upgrade of the subsequent systems. We have gone through the note 68678 and have a few queries.
    1. Do we release the task, then choose the transport in SPAU with "Select for transport"  and then carry out the steps in the note
    or
    2. Release the request in DEV and then do the steps in the note 68678.
If there is any other method to follow please suggest
    Any suggestion is highy appreciated.
    Thanks & Regards
    Deepak

    Hey Cheng,
Follow the below steps to select the transport for the subsequent steps
    1. Release all the tasks but not the request.
    2. Go to your upgrade directory in DEV system /usr/sap/DEV/upg/abap/bin.
    3. It will prompt for your root directory. Enter the path /usr/sap/DEV/upg/abap
    4. Use the command in the note
    ./SAPup export TA=C11K904711 TYPE=SPAU LOG=EXP.LOG REL=701
Then if you check the umpdauto.lst the request will be in the list.
Regarding the 2 requests, I think you should ask your development team to combine it into 1 as I am not so sure if 2 requests can be included in SPAU.
Let me know if you have any issues
    Regards
    Deepak

  • Which Disk for Disk Utility after Leopard upgrade?

    Greetings,
If I need to run Disk Utility from the DVD, which disk should I use? The original disk that came with my iMac when I purchased it, or the Leopard install disk that I upgraded to a little over a month ago?
    Thanks in advance - Scrags

If the earlier Disk Utility didn't try to "repair" anything. then the Leopard Disk Utility should still work.
If the older Disk Utility tried to repair a Time Machine volume, it might remove folder hard links. The Leopard Disk Utility would have no way of fixing that.
