Dynamic Reloading - does it work?
Hi,
has anyone succeded to get class files reloaded dynamically?
I need this feature very much, but can't get it working...
The tutorial says to put the new files at
<J2EE_HOME>/domains/domain1/applications/j2ee-modules/context_root
but the 'j2ee-modules' directory is empty!!!
Instead there is a 'backup' directory that contains another 'j2ee-modules' directory.
I have tried both these directories, also tried using the .reload files but it doesn't work...
Can anyone give me detailed instructions?

If you are, you will need to put the dot-reload file into the Location of the web app.
To verify the correct place to put the dot-reload, use the admin console.
Select your web-app in the tree control on the left-hand side.
The pane to the right has a Location field (fourth from the top). The dot-reload file needs to in the listed directory

Premiere Pro to Adobe Audition Dynamic link does not work. Cannot edit audio in Audition.
Trying to edit Audio from Premiere Pro within Audition thru the Dynamic link but it does not fire up Audition to edit. Seems like a common problem/bug. But no one has posted a solution. Please Help

-Adobe Audition CC 2014You dont understand it was all working fine in the previous Adobe versions. matter of fact you can go on youtube and see a couple of videos that shows the work flow between Premiere Pro and audition by way of Dynamic link. If you edit a video clip in Premier Pro and want to add some music or simply edit the audio that is contained in the video there was a time within Premiere Pro you can just right click "Edit in Adobe Audition" and Audition would open with the audio clip in place. Much in the same way Premiere Pro works with After Effects thru the Dynamic Link. The Dynamic Link is the bridge between applications to work with each other. For some reason Premiere Pro and Audition Dynamic Link is not working properly.

Dynamic image does not work in the template builder plug-in (Apex-BI Intgr)

I use Apex' report query tool and My query is like

the xml data is generated with an IMAGE_LOCATION tag. I load it to word template plug-in. The Url successfully displays in the report if I make it a plain-simple field.
But when it's in the image format->web->alt text as url:{IMAGE_LOCATION} no image displayed.
I need to keep this design procedure simple so a simple word user could design a report via using just template builder plug-in. I don't wish to explore the xsl-fo area...yet.
Could you tell me why I can't get this url:{IMAGE_LOCATION} to work?

when you see the URL corrently as long as you have it as a plain text field, the XML tag and the
referencing seem to be OK.
Here are two thought - the issue might be one of these ...
How did you insert the dummy image into the word document - did you do it via "insert" or
via "link to file". "Link to File" does not work - you must choose the simple "insert".
Another one: Does your BI Server have a connection to the internet - is the proxy server correctly set ..?

Dynamic versioning -- does it work
Despite dynamic versioning being poorly documented in the Java Plugin Guide, I thought I had an understanding of how it should work. However I just learned that it does not behave as I expected. Is this a bug, or did I misunderstand?
Here is my understanding of how dynamic plugin versioning works:
Syntax.
a) classid. Use the dynamic class id (as in my example below).
b) mime type. specify "version" (not "jpi-version"), and specify the 2-digit version, such as "1.2", "1.3", "1.4".
c) codebase. provide a path to download a JRE if necessary.

Behavior.

Is this correct or not? What I am seeing contradicts this. On a cleanly installed Win2k machine, I have only installed JRE 1.3.1. I use a tag like the above which should require the user to install JRE 1.4+ before running the applet. However, no download/install prompt appears, and the applet just runs in the 1.3.1 JRE.

I didn't realize that the "#Version=1,4,0,0" portion of the codebase was significant. In the examples given by Sun, I assumed it was part of the download URL. To the contrary, the JRE appears to examine this version number to determine which version to require. I had assumed that this was the purpose of the version specified in the mime type (i.e., "version=1.4"). Live and learn.

Dynamic path does not work in Css files
Hi,
I have a css file in which i have used few images, but when i try to make the path dynamic and include that css in my page the image doesn't appear but when i put the complete path in it it works.
It works when used in this way :

You can use the Web URL Map though to make urls that are easy to deposit in CSS.

All of my plugins are up to date. I have this problem on Firefox and 2 other browsers. Sending crash reports and reloading HAS NOT helped and I am very frustrated.
I had the same problem when I went to upgrade to 8 and then downgrade back to 7.7. To fix this is a little involved, but you can do it. Let me put it this way, I talked my mother through it on the phone, and she has a hard time finding the power button So no worries, I'll help you get back up and running. I am running Vista now, so I am going off of memory for Vista, so bear with me.
I would do the following:
1. Uninstall both iTunes and Quicktime by going to Control Panel-Add Remove Programs, and choosing first Quicktime then iTunes.
2. Clean your registry. Easy now, it is not that hard. To do it, go to http://www.ccleaner.com/download and download CCleaner. It is free and has NO spyware. Install it and run the registry cleaner. It will remove any trace of both programs from the registry. Now you have 2 choices.
3a. Now I would install iTunes 8. Because you already installed it once, it converted its database file that it uses to track the library and play lists up to the iTunes 8 standard.
3b. If you have no problem loosing your playlists and library settings, you can go back to iTunes 7.7. To do this, first search for "itunes.ttl". To do this, go to Start-Search Files and Folders- and type in "iTunes.ttl" Once the search finishes, it will tell you where it is located. Navigate there using Windows Explorer or My Computer and delete it. Now you can install iTunes 7.7 with out any errors. You will not loose any files! just your playlists and it will not remember what is in your library.
As far as adding your songs again, did you try to re-importing your music? If you go to the file menu-add folder to library. It will bring up a dialogue box that will allow you to browse to the folder with your music.

TS1717 I-tunes will not open even in safe mode on windows 7 32bit. A reload does not work either.
I-tunes stopped working on my Windows 7 32 bit computer. It will not open in safe mode or anything else. I even tried reinstalling and still nothing.
You're unlikely to get a reply. It's pretty much unused as far as I'm aware. You need to get a crash id outside of firefox for me to help. Press Start key + R and a dialog should open. in the textbox type %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted\
Now, open a few of the files and copy the code from each of them to this thread. I will then research your bug with the help of the Mozilla Crash Reporter. -
I have recently upgraded my iMac Intel G5 iSight (iMac5,1) to OS 10.6.8 and now the internal mic does not work with skype or facebook. I can here static when playing back clips. Do I need to update firmware or reload old system parts. I have zapped PRAM. The blue indicator in system audio panel will appear for a second as I slide the bar for internal mic but then it disappears. Is there a fix?
The sound seems very faint but can here static on playback.

Dynamic Height in Graphs does not work properly when the graph is in an list

I have an report in SQL Server 2008 (SP1) Reporting Services which uses Dynamic Height to dynamically increase the size of the graph for the data. For a single dataset this works great!
When I place this graph in a list/tablix (to display this graph on each group) things go bad... Only the first graph on every page is resized, all other graphs on the same page are equal in size of the first!
When I place a pagebreak on the lists property all graphs are drawn fine!! But then I will have a page for every question in my data (which can be a lot!)

It looks like the renderer calculates the value of the dynamic height only once on a page in stead of each graph. That's a bug in my opinion.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
The inner workings of the report are like this: The data contains anwers from a survey by question, so i have a unknown count of answers with each question; I placed a list on my report with a groupingproperty on the question asked. On this list i place a horizontal bar-graph which must grow in height when it is too small. The dynamic height should be calculated like this =70 + (CountDistinct(AnswerValue.Value)*10) & "pt".
When i place this calculation in a textbox, every item in the group is calculated correctly. Each graph is drawn, but the graphs are sized only to the size of the first graph on the page. When I place a pagebreak after each list-repeat (so i get each question on a seperate page) each graph is drawn correctly! This results however in more than 100 pages with all used for just a few centimeters (think about trees!).
I'm using SQL 2008 / SSRS2008 with SP1 by the way ( without SP1, the behaviour is the same).
Any more suggestions are appreciated.

My back and forward buttons do not work also the refresh button does not work, I have reloaded the latest version of fire fox and that did not help. After I installed mountain lion my back button frequently does not work because the prior screen does not appear iunder History. Apple tech support was not able to fix the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?
