Dynamic reskilling from supervisor desktop

Hello.
I saw in a document that it can do dynamic reskilling by administrator or supervisor. Can i asign dynamically the skills to agents from the supervisor desktop and how?
Thanks
Jose Luis Arango Carvajal

Hi
Are you talking UCCX or UCCE?
In UCCX there is no ability to change skills from the Supervisor Desktop, but you can log into AppAdmin as the Supervisor and get a restricted view of AppAdmin which allows you to change skills (as long as you have set the 'Supervisor access to teams' system parameter to allow it).

  • Agent disappearing from Supervisor Desktop

    Greetings -
    Can someone help find a solution to my below problem..
    Environment:
    Cisco Unified CCX premium
    9.0.2 SU2 version
    Agent desktop: 9.0(2) (Premium); Build: 9.0.2.2021
    Problem:
    We have three agents out ten who regularly disappear from supervisor desktop.  I opened a TAC case with Cisco but could not figure out what is causing the problem.  The agent desktop is installed on Win7 64bit, Kaspersky antivirus and no firewall between UCCX and agent.  Between UCCX and agent, we have a Cisco 4500 connecting 6500.  I also opened a case with Cisco switching team to check if switches have any role in agent disappearing, but nothing was found on the switches.  It is interesting that only three users are affected out of all.  The affected users' logs on to CAD without any issues in the beginning of the shift, however, after couple of hours i.e. around 11 am agents start to disappear from the supervisor desktop.  After the agent disappears, the CAD chat windows appears like below and the <Unavailable> status in the chat windows changes constantly every 10 seconds to <Initializing>
    The UCCX capture shows the following:
    <AGENT_DESKTOP_user11>.  The application will be logged out.
    2014-08-20 03:09:46:249 WARN FCCS3008 Network communication error <COMM_FAILURE> sending message to application <AGENT_DESKTOP_mwoods>.  The application will be logged out.
    2014-08-20 03:09:50:021 WARN FCCS3008 Network communication error <COMM_FAILURE> sending message to application
    The agent logs shows that the heart beat is sent to the UCCX but UCCX dose not receive anything.  While all these are happening, the user can still receive and answer calls, the supervisor though cannot see the user, the reports she runs displays user metrics.  However, after few hours, the agent will appears again on supervisor desktop or re logging will make the user appear again.
    Has anyone experienced this strange issue?
    Thank you in advance.

    Thank you for prompt response.
    What I did few weeks ago was, created a new account, assigned queues to that new account and then asked the used to use that account just to check if the issue is specific to user account.  Even then, the agent (newly created account) was disappearing.
    I am sure if I ask the user to use the working agent account, will not have a problem.  I will have to check with the supervisor if they want to try this out.  I will update you momentarily.

  • Not able to remove User from supervisor desktop

    Im not able to remove an user that is not longer with the company from the queue, its on the agent queue and its shows at log out.
    I already remove the user form CUCM, also deleted from the inactive user at the ccx admin, also Synchronize Directory Services and nothing..
    the only thing I would like to do is
    restart the Cisco Desktop Sync Service. but I dont know if I can do that during production without affecting other agents.
    UCCX
    Cisco Unified CCX Administration
    System version: 8.5.1.11003-32
    thanks

    Hi Alberto,
    Do you see this User ID in the Team which is managed by this supervisor, please de-associate it from the Team incase if it still appearing in the Team's associated list.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to reset numbers in real time display in Cisco Supervisor Desktop?

    Hi all,
    I wonder about numbers in real time display in Cisco Supervisor Desktop. There are many statistic number for example : Call Handled, Max Talking, Avg Talking, Max Ready, Total Ready, Call abandoned, etc. Is there any way to reset those numbers back to zero? Please let me know.
    Thank you.

    Joe,
    I haven't tried that, but I'm very skeptical. The CAD Agent gets stats from two places - CTIOS and RASS. RASS keeps the call log information in a SQL Desktop Engine database.
    Stats derived from CTIOS reset at midnight. Obviously, restarting the RASS service has no effect on those. Call log information is being kept in a database so it seems to me that a restart of RASS should also have no effect.
    I guess I will have to try for myself.

  • Cisco Agent Desktop / Supervisor Desktop Issue with Full Disk Encryption

    Has anyone had any issues related to running Cisco Agent Desktop or Cisco Supervisor Desktop on a machine running full disk encryption?  Our desktop team installed full disk encryption software from Check Point, and it seams to be causing some issues with call monitoring, screen pops via workflow and connectivity to the UCCX server.  It's not effecting every machine (that we know of), but the fix for us right now is to provide a desktop without the encryption software.  I'm just wondering if this is related to us, or if there is any supporting documentation out there?
    Any help is apprecicated.

    CAD for IPCCX v4 does not support windows 7. See compatibility matrix:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_compatibility/matrix/crscomtx.pdf
    In my experience if you already have CAD installed and you upgrade the OS (without a fresh rebuild) CAD will work - but it is NOT supported. You should test this though.
    You will not be able to install the older version of CAD on windows 7, the installer will give you errors.

  • No teams visible in Supervisor Desktop software

    Hi All,
    All of our UCCX supervisors can use the supervisor desktop software without any problems, but one particular user just sees a blank screen and the teams drop-down menu is blank. I made sure she is a member of the proper team and has Supervisor privileges.
    I'm stumped. Any help would be much appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Gary

    Hi Gary
    No teams in the list means either:
    1) That Supervisor is assigned sup rights, but not assigned to any teams in Subsystems/RmCm/Teams. Go into the teams the user should see, and assign the user as a secondary sup
    2) Sometimes you may have assigned the user to the teams, but it doesn't sync to the 'desktop' services. If you are sure the user is assigned to the teams, you can go into Desktop Administrator (the new web based one in 7.x) and do a forced resync, or just restart the 'Desktop Sync' service from Control Panel in AppAdmin.

  • Historical reports not matching supervisor desktop "Calls Presented" totals.

    Have UCCX 9.X version of Supervisor Desktop.  When viewing the “Agents – Team Summary” from within Supervisor Desktop the “Calls Presented” and “Calls Handed” totals seem to be cumulative from more than the past day.  The Supervisor Desktop User’s guide states that the totals should be from 12:00 AM thru the current day.  I’ve looked through Supervisor Desktop “Preferences” and could not find anything to change to give the past days totals only.   When a supervisor runs a Historical Report for the day the totals are correct. When they’re in Supervisor Desktop the totals for each agent are hundreds more than what the Historical Report states.   Is there a parameter I’m missing somewhere to allow Supervisor Desktop to give the current days totals only?
    Thanks!

    We started having this problem with some of the reps after migrating from the old CAD servers to new CAD servers. Since the new system didn’t have the updated RASCAL DB, I thought the reports have the stale data. I was under the impression that it gets cleared after a day(once CSD has a fresh data) but seems like that’s not the case. I didn’t get time to look into this further and have requested TAC to help me on this.

  • Supervisor Desktop Agent View

    Hi,
    I'm currently running UCCX 8 and have strange issue in Supervisor Desktop with the name display for one of the agents!
    For all the other agents the information keyed into end user (on CUCM8) for the last name, first name fields is showing correctly in desktop. However i have one agent where it is showing a completely different name to what is entered in the end user entry!
    Has anyone any ideas as to where else it could be pulling this information from or why it is displaying incorrecly for one agent yet the other 30 are correct?!
    Thanks

    The other thing to do is to download a free ldap browser (almost everyone uses the same one - version 2.8.2 of Jarek Gawor's application) and connect to the Calabrio LDAP - use port = 38983 and set the BASEDN to  o=Spanlink Communications. It will look like this for an anonymous connection:
    Have a browse through the LDAP until you find your agent. Check what is there - this is the source, and sync will just populate the source from the SQL database. This may shed some light on the problem - why it is not being updated to match the SQL DB.
    For anyone who plays with CAD at a big site, the LDAP browser is essential.

  • UCCX 9.0 Agent is appeaaring and Disappearing from Supervisor

    We have installed anew setup and the issue is Agent is appeaaring and Disappearing from Supervisor. As per observations, this is happening every 20 second. Is there a timer in config or something?
    we have checked no firewall and antivirus in between.
    Any suggestions please

    Hi Hina,
    This always happens due to one of the following:
    ++ Different versions of CAD or CSD other than the server - check the version of CAD or CSD and check the compatibility matrix to verify if that is the same for the UCCX version you are running
    ++ Anti Virus - A big culprit sometimes. Recommended test would be from a PC without these settings.
    ++ Firewall - Connectivity to the Cisco Desktop Call Chat Service.
    Check for the following ports for the UCCX Server:
    3001 - Call Chat Service.
    3002 - Call Chat Service for Clients over VPN.
    These need to be accessible or open for the server from both the CAD and the CSD.
    ++ Citrix or Thin Client.
    If your clients are on thin client such as Citrix or MTS, then check the Port Utilization guide for the ephemeral ports to be open.
    Also check the Post install.exe file to have the parameter Thin Client Environment set to Yes.

  • Supervisor desktop:- Display current skill

    Hi All,
    In supervisor desktop application, i would like to know, when an agent is in talking mode, the current skill to which he is actually mapped to.
    a sample code for the same would be of great appreciation.
    Regards
    Suhas

    I'm making the assumption here that you want to display the Skillgroup and Skill name of the Agent.
    You should be able to pull out the Skillgroup object from the agent using the "GetSkillGroups" method.
    This method will return an argument array,
              Agent a = null;
                Arguments s;
                String SGout;
                Arg RA;
                CilRefArg CilRA;
                CtiOsObject ob;
                SkillGroup SG;
                int SkillGroup_Number;
                s = a.GetSkillGroups(); // Gets the Skill groups Associated with the Agent
                for ( int i =0; i<= s.NumElements();i++) / / loop through each element in case agent has more that one skill group.
                     s.GetElementKey(i, out SGout);
                     s.GetValue(SGout, out RA);
                    CilRA = (CilRefArg) RA;
                    CilRA.GetValue(out ob);
                    SG = (SkillGroup)ob;  // End result is the Skill Group Object for this element. From here you can get all the data about the specific agent's SKill Group
    This is a very rough example, the best place to get this information is in the  CTIOS development Guide
    Hope this helps a little

  • Supervisor desktop mismatch

    Have a strange issue - downloaded the supervisor desktop from the server and installed it.  During startup when it does the update check, I get an error that says:
    Please update your Application:  Version on server: 8.5.1.111, Version on desktop 8.5.1.150
    And then exits and won't run.
    How can the version I downloaded from the server be newer???
    Ran the CAD client configuration tool several times now and it finished just fine.   Uninstalled and re-installed the supvervisor desktop and several pc's and always the same error.  This is standard only, so we don't have agent desktops.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

    answering my own question in case anyone else runs into this -
    it's a bug documented here:
    http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCts46895
    has to do with the ciscouccx.851SU1RecMonFixes.cop file not installing correctly.

  • Cisco Supervisor Desktop show "Agent Logs - call" and "Agent Logs - state" in N/A ::: UCCX 8.5.1

    Hi team.
    The Cisco Supervisor Desktop don't show any logs in the "Agent Logs - State" and "Agent Logs - Call" in some agents.
    I restarted the Cisco Desktop Services in CCX Serviceability but the issue continue.
    I appreciate any help respect this case.
    Thanks a lot.
    ErnestoG

    Hi Ernesto,
    Did you click or selct the Specific Agent\Inbound call which is currently being handled by the Agent. From the Screenshot you have attached (first one) doesn't look like the call has been selected.
    Please select or click on that Specific Agent\Inbound call from CSD and check these values.
    Hope this helps.

  • Supervisor desktop login issues

    Able to login to agent desktop but with same credentials it is failing to login to supervisor deskrop.
    Steps taken to resolve but it didn't work
    1) enabled checkbox under supervisor but it didnot work
    2) change password
    3) deassociated user from agent team list   and re associated
    what next needs to be doen pls suggest

    Hi Bala,
    You should use the same credentials what you have used to login for Agent in Supervisor desktop as well. If it works for Agent login, then it should work for Supervisor as well with same credentials. Agent Team list doesn't matter here.
    Hope this helps.

  • Supervisor Desktop - Call Stat Question

    This issue appears to be effecting all of our queues. Anyone know what would be the main cause for
    1. Total calls today doesnt = Call presented
    2. Abandoned calls doesnt = difference between calls presented and calls handeled
    This is assuming all agents that were logged in at the start of the day are still logged in when I look at the stats.

    Alex,
    For your first point, total calls is sum total of the following values: Calls Handled (answered by an agent), Calls Abandoned (dropped before an agent was available), Calls Dequeued (typically via script action) and Calls In Queue (waiting to speak to an agent).
    We can check the numbers from your screenshot:
    Total Calls (300) = Calls Handled (286) + Calls Abandoned (13) + Calls Dequeued (0) + Calls In Queue (1) = 300; that checks out.
    Regarding yoursecond point, why doesn't Calls Presented - Calls Handled = Calls Abandoned? Consider the following scenario:
    Caller is in queue, and waits for an agent to become available. The call rings at the agent but the agent doesn't answer in time.
    The number of calls presented to that agent has gone up by +1, the calls handled remained the same. +0
    When the agent goes available, the call is again presented to the agent, this time they answer the call successfully. Calls presented goes up again by +1, calls handled for the agent also goes up +1.
    It is for this reason that you are not seeing calls handled + calls presented = abandon. They rarely match up. You can confirm this by checking agent state records and looking for Ring no answer for the reason code.
    When looking for metrics it is important to understand how they are generated, and in the case of Cisco Supervisor Desktop, where to look for the information you need.
    CSQ statistics do not generally match up with Agent Statistics.
    HTH.

    Hi,
    I installed new uccx 8.5.1. After all configuration I tried install supervisor desktop. But If it tried this on my PC xp sp3, I receive this error message:
    Error 1335.The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.

    if I tried install suppervisor desktop on windows 7, I receive error message: Error 2902.operation ixoFileCopy called out of sequence.
    Agent desktop and desktop administrator are ok, and I'm able made correct installation.
    Do you have some idea, how to solve it?
    Best regards.

    Hello,
    I solved my trouble. Problem was in SplkWinPcap.dll file.  I don't know why was this file wrong. I used second metod for  generation msi files and all is ok.
    MSI file has correct splkwinpcap.dll and instalation is now  working. - (regeneration from web interface uccx didn't help, but second  metod helped.)
