Dynamic web-client for WebService
Hi All,
I want to create a generic Web Client for various in-house webservices.
The page to prepare and submit SOAP request to the WebService should be dynamically formed according to the WSDL, so that I dont have to write new html/jsp page for each new WebService.
Can you suggest any library to achieve this?

You can find detailed presentations in the learning maps available on the SAP Service Marketplace http://service.sap.com/rkt-crm for release CRM 2006s, CRM 2007, or CRM 7.0. In case I didn't mention it before, Intent-Driven Interaction (IDI) was first introduced and is only available starting with CRM 2006s and above. In the Interaction Center area, there is a presentation called "Rule Based Automation and Guidance" which covers IDI. does anyone have experience in setting the sender interface name in the HTTP-SOAP request dynamically? I have followed the instructions in "How To Use the XI 3.0 SOAP Adapter" on page 17 (see also SAP Note 856597) which say:
"If you select Use Encoded Headers and Use Query String,
[...]The sender SOAP adapter creates the XI message header according to the
information provided in the query string. [...] In the sender SOAP adapter, you can use only some of the parameters, but the first
parameter must always be the version. For example, you send from the Web service client to the following URL: http://<host>:<j2ee-port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=<party>:<service>:<channel>&version=3.0&Interface=http%3A
%2F%2Fsap.com%2Ftest%5ETest
This will overwrite the default interface and namespace of the sender channel."
This is exactly what I need! However, what I actually get as a response following this description is a SOAP:Fault with a java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1.
Has anyone got this to work properly?

Anything wrong with that? With unchecked "Use Encoded Headers" and "Use Query String" it works fine (default interface) but as soon as I set these flags I get the SOAP-Fault response.
We are on XI 3.0 SPS18. -
Call Web Browser for WebService..
Hi all.
I have a problem.
There are a communication between SAP and WebService.
In background, SAP must call WebService periodically.
It calls the function 'CALL_BROWSER' with WebService URL in background and then raises a exception.

In P6 8.4 web client for loading Resource page takes long time
As per tested configuration of P6 EPPM 8.4 we are using IE 9 and JRE 1.7.0.67.
I had checked RAM and its utilization is Max 40%, CPU usage is also very less.
Enough disk space is also avaliable (70% avaliable).
Enteries in resources are also very few just 20 numbers.
Project page is loading normally. But for loading resource page it pause for almost 15-20 seconds.
Last week i had faced issue that application freezes while loading resource page so i had restarted application and it was working.
May i know, what will be reason to take long time to load resorce page and possible solution.I am attching java console tracer log for while loading resource page..

Re: URL to run Zimbra Web Client for Oracle Beehive?
Hi
I tried login to zimbra getting the following error.
An unknown application error has occurred. Please correct any errors and retry. If the problem persists, please contact your System Administrator. (INVALID_PDU)
I was able to login for the first time when i installed zimbra freshly in the machine.
After had to remove zimbra home for other purpose. Reinstalled again, but getting this error.
Should I need to remove any files that may be causing this prop ?

Is there a DDNS (Dynamic DNS) client for iPhone or iPad?
DynUp http://www.porcupyne.org/dynup.html used to be available in the app store (I have it installed on my non-jailbroken iPhone 4) but I can't see it in the UK store at present. In case it returns, here are my thoughts on it...
It's limited in that:
* it doesn't continually monitor your IP and update DynDNS (though I wouldn't necessarily expect this)
* it uses a standard web port to detect the current IP, so my ISP's transparent proxies get in the way when I'm using 3G. I have to visit http://myglobalip.com:4280 (I saved a link to this page in Safari on my home screen) and then copy and paste the IP returned into the "custom" tab in DynUp - which then updates the DynDNS record correctly.
* it only works with DynDNS and Widge.net (not a problem, as I use DynDNS)
Aside from that, I can only see apps in the Cydia store ... but I don't want to jailbreak my iDevices.

Web client returned different no. of records in same query
May anyone can help me ?
I am now using Web Client 9.2.0.0.196 Windows XP.
I am only an user to retrieve records using one static query thorugh Hyperiion Interactive Reporting Web Client for business purposes. The back-end database would be updated monthly.
We set the request and filter within one Dimension of the query. However, I tried the query 10 times, the number of records returned was different.
I trired to set filter with different values. Sometimes, it gave me correct number of records and sometime it could not.
My IT team reported that the Expert of Hyperion Verdor also cannot resolve my problem.As you are using the Web Client there are many parts involved in the process of your running a query.
Below is an example of a very basic path a query takes to DB
1. PC- Web Browser with Web Client
2. Web Server
3. Application Server
a. Hyperion BI Server
b, Hyperion DAS - Data Access
4. Database.
Anywhere between 1 and 4 there may be firewalls, network switches etc.
If you are getting unexpected results on you query then I would start with taking the Query/SQL being sent via the Web Client and trying it on a SQL Client Tool for that Database from your PC and see what you get.
Other Troubleshooting actions:
- Have DBA monitor the Database and see if they can capture your SQL being sent and see if they can see if there are problems on DB.
- Have Hyperion Administrator look at the Logs for the BI Server, DAS and Usage Tracking to see if there are any anomolies.
- I would see if you are experiencing the same problem from a different workstation.
- Check for Network Time Outs....How long is it taking for your Query to Run? Maybe you are dropping connection somewhere in the process.

Diff. between Mobile Web And Dev. Web Client

I have been trying to find the difference between Siebel Mobile Web Client and Siebel Developer Web Client for quiet some time now. As per my understanding below is the difference between the two:
Siebel Mobile Web Client uses the Locally stored siebel executable and it accesses the locally stored dbf. However with the Siebel Developer Web Client (also uses the same executable as Mobile web client) you can connect to the server database.
By default when you launch the Siebel Mobile Web Client you get to choose from Sample and Local dbf. But with the Siebel Developer Web Client you get to choose from Sample, Local and the Server.
Please let me know if my understanding is correct and of anyother differences if anybody is aware off.

I have an issue that for one of my User the web client for planning freezes up when he tries to save the form . He is not able to access any menus etc on the web client. i tried logging in by my user id on his machine as well and
encontered same issue. To clarify the form dosent have any business rule attached to it ...and moreover its freezes for all the forms in planning...for all the other user it works fine. what should i check to trobleshoot the issue?? i have to
go to File > Exit of internet explorer which shut down the planning instance as i m not able to log off also :(

If you have added an append to the BuilEmpSearch BOL object, than the parameters are added to the query_service automaticaly.
Here is an example of the eh_OnSearch method for the search on business partners. (B2C scenario). The principle is the same. You can add you pre-search checks here. In the class CL_BUIL_EMP (which has the superclass CL_BUIL_HEADER) you need to do a repair (changing of a standard SAP class) of method get_result_table.
What I have done is I've read the parameters that were added (automatically) to the query_service and added them to my FM to do the search.
You also need to take a copy of the BUPA_SEARCH_2 FM and add the parameters as importing parameters. Now you can add your search logic to the FM.

When the web service is deployed the WSDL can be accessed. By using this WSDL you can create your client by using tools
such as wsimport (which comes with a JDK distribution and is located in the JDK_HOME/bin directory)
wsimport -keep -d C:\YOUR_PROJECT\src http://hostname:port/context/SomeWebService?wsdlthe 'keep' option make sure the generated .java files are not thrown away.
