  • Interactive Scripts History Issue

    Hi ,
I got a issue in Interactive Script using winclient. I have created a flow in interactive script editor and is working well in the CICO screen. My issue is I am not able to view the history of the answers for that question displayed on that script. How to store the history of scripts for a particular Business Partner.
    Regards
    Raj.

    Hello Raj,
Not sure in which version you are in , The answers are not recorded in CRM but they can be exported to BI, if a BI system is connected. To enable BI recording in the script IMG activity "Define Script Profiles" (tx. CRMC_IC_SCRIPT) you need to set the History flag for your script profile to "Record script data to BW".
Earlier, this information used to store in Tables CRMD_TM_SCR_HIST and CRMD_TM_SCR_HEAD  in CRM 3.0. But these are no longer used to store the script history from version CRM 4.0
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks

  • Lync 2013 client not processing history spooler folder (conversation history)

We have been using Lync 2013 fully patched up to latest & greatest, along with Exchange 2013 for about 6 months now & everything is working
great. (I did a AD migration from our old parent company in the UK as well as migrated exchange from 2010 to 2013, all that without a hitch for the most part.)
the issue that seems to be popping up intermittently is conversation history. I manged to work around some of them for the most part & getting
them to process; with the exception of 1 user.
If he logs into another PC his conversation history works fine.
However on his PC it does not seem to want to process the history spooler folder in "C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\[email protected]m",
there are 737 files in there (all of his convo history)
Now what i did & it seems to sort of work is,Signed out of Lync, I deleted the users Sip folder after backing up the history spooler folder, logged
back into Lync which recreated the sip_user folder; logged back out of Lync , copied the History Spooler folder back to the SIP folder, & signed into Lync.
This took 10 files out of the history spooler folder, & then appeared in the convo history; both on Lync client & Outlook; but did not bring
all of them in. I did some testing and if you log out, then back in, it processes a few more. but not all.
EWS & MAPI settings & all other Lync configuration information settings match a users with no convo history issues.
    So now the questions.
1)What could possibly cause what ever mechanism that processes the History spooler folder to stop/only process a few items during sign in? Also what
    is the mechanism?
2)Is there any way through powershell to force the synchronization of the history spooler folder?
    Thank you

so in some more testing i had check the history spooler folder, & there were about 700+ files.
as a note* (Upon deleting the users sip folder & logging back in thus re-creating the folder new convo's where saving. So i did "fix" the issue with no new convo's during my initial work prior to opening this thread.)
I then removed a good chunk of the *.hist files & only left convo's from this month. signed out then back in, 10 files processed. then did it again, another 10. did it again, & it did 4 then stopped. I noticed there were some files over 1 mb. &
remember coming across this post (Lync
not processing files over 1mb) so i removed the 1mb files & then logged out then back in. processed 10 more.
i then added all the files to the history spooler file with the exception of the files over 1 mb, & logged in & out about 70 times to process the whole folder. Now all of the convos are in Lync & outlook as well as new convo's being saved. However
i have a folder now with 130 files that are over 1mb that will not process at all..
so now i am trying to find some validity on the statement in the link above
"We did open a case with Microsoft and they confirmed it is a bug in the Exchange EWS HTTP stack. It
is supposedly under review by the Dev team, but my guess is that it won't be fix soon. The magic size is exactly 1MB or 1048576 bytes."
If that is actually true it sucks & is some B.S as it is nearly 2 months later & this is obviously
a major problem & not even a CU or PU has been released to address the issue.

  • Where does Firefox 3.6.10 store tab and history?

I am running Firefox 3.6.10 under Windows XP, the latter fully updated. However, I keep my Firefox profile on a D: drive, so that it is unaffected by an operating system reinstall or other modification affecting the C: drive.
I have recently suffered several Firefox crashes, most seemingly caused by Firefox or add-on updates (I have now disabled automatic updates for everything). But the most recent crash was caused by my laptop's battery expiring. In all these cases restarting Firefox produced a "welcome" startup screen (my personal settings in Options specify a blank screen), and the loss of both saved tabs and history.
After trying various ideas to recover the lost data, to no avail, I resorted to restoring the whole of my C: drive (using 3rd party software, not Windows's lousy backup facility). On then starting Firefox, lo and behold! the tabs and history were restored to the situation at the latest backup date.
My understanding is that tabs and history data used to be stored in the Profiles\sessionstore.js and Profiles\places.sqlite locations respectively. Interestingly, while it is asserted that Profiles\places.sqlite contains both history and bookmarks data, although I lose the history, I do not lose the bookmarks!
When I end a Firefox session, saving the modified tabs configuration, and any modifiied bookmarks, I find that the sizes and dates of the Profiles\sessionstore.js and Profiles\places.sqlite are unchanged. Yet when I restart Firefox the updated tabs and history are recovered!
From all of the above, I conclude that, at least for me, Firefox has stopped saving tabs and history data in the Profile folder, and instead has started saving it somewhere else on the C: drive. This is, of course, most unsatisfactory, as my whole purpose in putting the Profile folder on the D: drive was to prevent it from being corrupted by the vagaries of Windows. So, can anybody enlighten me as to what may be happening in my case, and how I might be able to recover the lost information without the drastic remedy of restoration of the whole C: drive from a backup facility (which is too disk space-consuming to deploy more than monthly)?
(By the way, I am aware of the facility to save the tabs under Bookmarks, but that is not a satisfactory solution; and anyway, the history issue remains unresolved.)
Hoping some wise person can help,
    Brian Binder

You can use this to find the location of the Firefox Profile Folder
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
The size of place.sqlite doesn't change if items are added or removed unless there is no empty space to add new items.<br />
The size of sessionstore.js should change, but you may not notice it if you only see a size in KB and not in bytes.
If places.sqlite is missing then Firefox will try to restore the bookmarks from a .JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.

  • Losing indata history

    Hi,
I've experienced that after having viewed a PDF document from spool (SP01), I lose the history of what I have typed.
The catalog for history, C:\Users\<uname>\AppData\Roaming\SAP\SAP GUI\History, seems to be intact.
    I run GUI version 720, patchlevel 9, OS win 7, 64 bit.
Any idea what might be wrong?

    Hello Ole,
Can you run a Local DB trace while recreating the issue and if errors are captured, upload them to the reply.
The note below has been known to solve history issues.

  • Combining Equipment history

I hope one of you experts can suggest a solution for us.
Our company operates with several mining sites that swap equipment back and forth from time to time. When we switched one plant over to SAP we inadvertently input a piece of equipment from another site into the system as new. Now we have two histories for these multi million dollar pieces of equipment.
Is there a way to combine the two separate histories for these? Are there other options you can suggest?
    Thanks for your time.

    Hello Joel,
I have some clarity issues in your post.  The line 'When we switched one plant over to SAP' indicates that one mining site among your several such, has been recently implemented SAP. If it is true, then the line 'Combining two separate histories' indicates a requirement of importing the Equipment History from the Legacy system to SAP system. This is a natural requirement during SAP implementations. SAP has tools such as LSMW or ABAP to develop BDC program for such data migration. If this is the case exactly, then for future implementations (SAP in other mining sites) you should better opt for a single maintenance plant, having these sites as Functional locations. In such case this Equipment can be easily dismantled from one place and put in other without any history issues.
On the other side, if your case is like, already having SAP implemented in several mining sites (plants) and you have created New equipment for the same physical entity in other plants, then see this thread to know how to transfer Equipment between two maint plants:Move equipment from one plant to another. This will continue the same history of the equipments. If this case is true, you can take help of the tools mentioned above for combining the histories created separately for few days so far. In this process obviously you need to discard few new equipments created.
    Hope this helps

  • IMac not keeping track of browsing history.

Hi,  Please help with browsing history issue on iMac.  It seemed to have frozen so I pushed 'clear history' which it did but now it's not keeping track of any history at all.
    Thanks.

If it is I don't know how it got like that.  Up until a few days ago it was not in private browsing and I did nothing knowingly to put it there.  In trying to solve this problem I learned that there is such a thing as "private browsing' and I tried to see if it got set inadvertently, but I can't even find how to get to it.

  • What should I do? Has other people's Support been this bad?

My name is Mile Marjanovich and I am an unhappy Verizon Wireless customer.
I have been a customer since October 2004 and finally after 7 years I think it's time to call it quits with this company. Their network may have been one of the most reliable in the past compared to the competition but in the end it was the customer service and the literal lies that their employees have told me which made me call it quits.
And here's how it ended keep in mind none of the details have been exaggerated nor embellished this is the actual situation and times in which this has transpired.
On September 7th 2011 at 2130 me and the wife bought 2 Motorola Droid Bionics using our last "New Every Two" sale, we purchased 2 Bionics, 1 Lapdock, 1 Car Dock, 1 Bluetooth Earpiece, 1 Car charger, roughly totalling $1200 in purchases, with our rep telling us there would be $100 rebate for the lapdock and that our existing Droid 1 & Droid 2 could be turned in for even more credit to offset the cost. Expecting these phones to live up to the standards of quality that motorola had given us with both the Droid 1 (2 purchased December 2009) and the Droid 2 (1 purchased in June 2010) we were excited. We were not new to the Android family nor to Motorola products before purchasing these so it's not a first time bad experience situation.
On September 12th 2011 at 1200 the phones arrived, to start with they wouldn't activate, through 2 calls of technical support and excuses along the longs of "its such a popular phone right now our activation servers are busy so just keep trying" we finally got them activated in about an hour and a half later.
On September 15th (our billing cycle date) we noticed that the $100 credit for the lapdock had still not been applied nor had we received a $100 Verizon gift card yet.
On September 22nd I called Verizon opting to finally use the 14 day no worries hassle free guarantee and return the phones which in the first 9 days experienced, 3g/4g service interupts, applications uninstalling themselves, missed calls, dropped calls, extraordinarily short bettery lifes (under 4 hours with little to moderate usage). We I talked to Verizon they informed me that it was past the 14 day mark and we could not exchange, as it started from the time we ordered the phones not the time we received the phones. So the 5 days it took to get the phones was part of our "Testing time".
In late September 2011, I had finally received the boxes and prepaid shipping labels to send the Droid 1 & Droid 2 into Verizon for the credit program and sent them the phones.
In October 15th, 2011 (Billing cycle date) we had still not received and credit for the lapdock, the droid 1 or the droid 2, and our phones were replaced the first time after my wife's Bionic developped a strange clicking noise in the speakers anytime any audio was played and my Bionic had began to drop calls regularlly.
In late October 2011, the first Bionic that arrived to replace the wife's was faulty, the Power Switch wouldn't depress and you couldn't turn the phone on.
A couple days later in October 2011 another bionic arrived and besides the 3g/4g data issues at least turned on.
Throughout November 2011 our phones were replaced for the following reasons, 1 the external speaker didn't work, 1 the sim card slot didn't work, 1 had a charge that lasted only 22 minutes from full to shutdown, 1 constantly crashed no matter which google app you tried to use, 1 the gps didn't work, 1 the Wifi/Bluetooth/LTE services didn't work, 1 arrived with a metal sliver sticking outta the bezel in the upper left hand corner of the phone which actually cut my finger open when I went to turn the unit on once, 1 only had 3g functuality and the Verizon rep said that the database on their end showed it as a "Unknown Device" and thus he couldn't fix it. During all of these repairs, returns, etc each "Factory Certified Like New Device" showed up with glitches, errors and other non-working features and with an average of 60 minutes a call to tech support each day for Activation issues and troubleshooting, Verizon kept telling me that when Motorola would release "The Patch" it would all fix itself.
November 15th (Billing Cycle) still no rebate/credit for lapdock, or traded in phones, after a couple calls and them "Researching the problems" they figured out that the $100 lapdock rebate was only from September 8th-October 15th, and although the Verizon website on the 7th of September showed the deal and the Verizon rep that sold me the phones told me about the offer I was not elligible since I ordered the phones 2 1/2 hours early. Through a pile of additional calls they finally said sorry and credited me $100 for the lapdock. So issue #1 of 5 had been solved (3 rebates, 2 broke phone) 20% progress.
    December 15th, 2011 - Received a $70 credit on my account (Droid 1?)
Continuing into December of 2011, we continued to replace phones and battle customer service, even went to far as to actually post a review of the phone on Verizon's websites with the issues we've had and awarded the phone a single star (The review was deleted) as well as an additional 2 bad reviews (always deleted after being posted to their website) and then one day things changed...
On December 16th around 1800, I spoke with Mark (Technical Support Supervisor) for Verizon and he made me and my wife and offer, he looked at the notes and the logs and the troubles we had been having with the phones and offered to replace the device with a comparable model. My only request was ANYTHING but another Motorola phone. He offered the HTC Rezound and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I told Mark, since I have only ever had Motorola Droid Products I don't know which one of those were better and asked him, what HE would get as he was going to know Verizon's product line better than myself. He said the Nexus, he hadn't received any calls on it, it was a new phone, great reviews, etc. I agreed to the offer, he told me that since it was going to be a warranty replacement the phones would be certified like new and that the most difficult part in getting used phones is usually locating the batteries and the battery backs. After another 10 minutes or so of him looking things up he told me the phones had been ordered and we would be receiving 3 boxes from fedex, 2 boxes would each contain one Nexus and one box would have the batteries and the backs. I asked Mark how to ship the phones and what should I do with the incompatible accessories (1 Bionic Lapdock & 1 Bionic Car Dock) seeing as verizon does not accept accessories for trade in credit. He advised me to sell the parts on Ebay or Craigslist or something to buy the new parts for the Nexus.
On December 17th (Saturday) I managed to sell the parts for enough to get the Nexus Dock.
On December 19th (Monday) I received 4 packages from Fedex, 3 Bionics, and one box containing 2 Samsung Galaxy Nexus Batteries, and 2 Samsung Galaxy Nexus Battery Backdoors. I called Verizon to figure out where the Nexus's are and why I had a 3rd bonus bionic here and was informed that Mark never actually ordered it and they were confused as to why he would offer it when there is no used inventory. The double checked the notes on their system and verified he did actually offer it and Alice (an amazing CS rep) said that she would check inventory every tuesday and thursday and send me a text message with the inventory status (and to this day she still does, like she promised).
On December 20th (Tuesday) Mark called me to appologize and say he cannot order the phone as there is no inventory and sorry for making the offer. He said he was shipping me 2 Motorola Droid Razr's that would be here on Wednesday, and that these were great phones, no issues, never have to be replaced, etc. After I got off the phone with him I immediatly called Customer Service back and tried to figure out how my one request had been ignored again and why they couldn't fufill the offer. Michelle (another very nice rep) said sorry, she doesn't know why he offered and then retracted but told me to "Just give the Motorola Razr's a chance" there great phones and seriously no issues.
On December 21st (Wednesday) 1400, I received 2 Motorola Droid Razr's, as my wife was working I didn't want to try and activate her's while she was at work and mess with her service I went through the invoices and grabbed the one attached to my line and tried to activate it. The Razr sent to me had a couple issues, #1 It kept getting a "Sim Card Authorization Error, please contact customer service" #2 Wifi wouldn't work #3 LTE service wouldn't work #4 the phone would randomly restart itself every couple of hours, #5 it fluctuated between no service for literally hours at a time to "Unknown Carrier" messages. I made 6 calls over the 24 hours I had the phone and the issues were still not resolved, and remember this was "The phone with no issues, trust us, you'll love it, just give it a chance". My wife's line on the other hand after 30 minutes of customer service and resetting the IMEI in the database and the reinputting the SIM card on verizon's end they finally got her's working and what do ya know it's great... Mine on the other hand was still not functional.
On December 22nd (Thursday) I contacted the West Region Executive Management team, and technical support explained 3 months of history, issues, number of replacements etc, and my rep said they were sending out a HTC Rezound, finally listening to my "Anything but a Motorola" request and that I would receive it on Friday (Dec 23rd)
On December 23rd (Friday) I spoke with Liz, West Region Executive Management Team representative, who after looking at my account for last couple months, looked into the HTC Rezound I was going to receive later today and said good news, it looks like it was a unit returned after just one day, so it wasnt a defective unit or anything, should be great... feeling reassured that Verizon had finally sent me a good working unit I waited. At 1800 hours I received my fedex shipment and opened the box to find... a Motorola Razr, I have had the Razr now for 3 hours and 7 minutes... it will not activate, it keeps failing, it has been reset twice, i have swapped SIM cards, still not activating...
... at least my wife is working... too bad for me apparently 12 Motorola Droid Bionics, and 3 Motorola Droid Razr's are just the beginning of this game...

Unfortunately, most of my advice is in the "hindsight is 20-20" category.
First off, I would never have purchased the peripheral accessories until the 14 day return period had expired. Second, you learned the hard way what the "14 days" really means.
Too bad you didn't do any homework, reading this and other forums and tech sites. Even word of mouth from others. That, more than anything could have steered you towards different phone choices from the get-go and I will leave that there with no further comment other than to say most of the issues you described have been discussed in this forum, ad nauseam.
Once you got into the refurbished phone exchanges, that is where things really went haywire. What someone tells you over the phone is a sketchy proposition, and when it comes down to it, it's your word against theirs.
I think Verizon tried to make it right, though. Remember, they don't make the phones. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
You stated yourself you were a satisfied Verizon customer before this. Had the first two phones performed as they should, you would still be a satisfied Verizon customer.
Doubt any of that will make you any happier, but after you went through the effort of writing such a long post, I thought I'd try.

  • One old problem causing 2 new ones

Before you get into the meat of this post let me say that part of my job involves some pretty high security and I also am always on call. I have skype accounts with just 1 contact in them specifically for when I do not want to be found in my off time. That should make the rest of this post and why I am mad as H-- about all this a bit more understandable.
A month ago I got my first smartphone, a Galaxy s4 and my primary reason for this is because I have family in Australia and friends in London. I don't have the time to game or use a phone for much other than using it as a phone and 98% of the apps it came with I will never have a use for so I didnt need a big powerful phone with all the toys and software. For the first few days everything was fine.  I had heard about some of the problems others have had with smartphones and now everything that made me wait to get a smartphone is happening to me.
The history started piling up. Now on my pc's I'm one of these that removes history every day sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. I have no use for it and do not want it on any of my devices and see no purpose for saving it. THAT's WHY IT's History. Over, done with old news.
So I follow all the links in here and have the same issues everyone else is having. So I decide to uninstall it permanently. NOW I show up online constantly as If i am logged in somewhere and nothing I do seems to make any difference. I cant even clear it up by logging into any of my pc's So I reinstall the app, theres no place to log out. Theres also no way to log out and sign in with a different account, it only wants to ADD another account. I DO NOT WANT ONE ACCOUNT INFORMATION SHARED WITH THE OTHER.
I had this same problem with twitter and facebook and some other social sites and google as well.  I have social pages that are work related and i have ones for my personal life and I also have a few others for some of the games I run. Everything in this phone (and windows 8 as well) wants to share everything these days and the problem is it creates account issues and other problems. Sharing anything should be an option not a must do.
So far 97% of the things I bought this phone for I cannot use because of sharing and history issues.
I shouldnt have to have one phone for work, one phone for my personal life.. As for skype it seems ever since microsoft got involved with skype its been an endless mess of problems one after another.  I am having the same sharing issues with windows 8, which is why I went back to windows 7. And google is just as bad.
There should be a history button. There should be a logout/login function. Skype SHOULD have the same functionality that it has on a pc device. and no I dont want to share my contacts from account to account or social media to social media all for the same reasons. Work is work, and home time is hometime. merging everything into the same app creates setting and login issues and it completely killed my twitter account and merged it with my work account. Besides I have 5 skype accounts specifically for this reason. To keep work separate from personal time.
There is a such thing as too much sharing. But the droid version of skype is a disater. I had really hoped for something better for all i pay for this but I am ready to go back to a normal phone and everyone will just have to wait til i get home on my PC to be able to do things in a normal way. Becauee of my job I cannot take the security risks of even accidently merging my work account with my personal ones. A user should be able to manage software on any device as needed not the other way around. I own the device, it does not own me and i should be able to run it as i need to.
This is also the same complaints I hear from other people as well. Small wonder apple is breaking sales records.
Anyway how do I get my account back to normal so that if im logged in its green and if im not its white like normal? YELLOW AWAY MODE IS NOT AN OPTION BECAUSE OF MY WORK! and how can i actually "log out" and still use the rest of this phone? how do i permantently remove history without having to hold each contact down and why don't it have a checkbox to not save history at all?
I'll be waiting for answers and thanks. I really hope some devs read this. this app is un-useable for me the way it is.
Edit: oh yeah and while I am at it before someone askes, yes I did try a full system restore to defaults on my phone .....3 times to be exact.
    Nothing makes any difference.
Another edit: it would make a lot more sense, not only in skype but several other apps and social media as well to have a button to "save this conversation to a file" and have it not save anything by default unless you checkd a box to do so all the time. but then again that would be normal logic, which is something that seems to be elusive to software manufacturers these days.

you CANNOT delete your chat history (some weeks worth are held automatically server-side and they are deleted automatically as they age) -- so don't leave yourself signed in if you are worried about prying eyes, and don't set Skype to sign in automatically
also, see the Settings section labeled Contacts to see how Skype can interact with the contact list of your phone . . . or not
    note:
I do not work for Skype and I am not defending the way it is either, so please don't get your back up at me
    Regards,
    Neil

  • ST02 shows multiple servers after heterogenous system copy

We're facing a strange behaviour in ST02 after a system copy using MaxDB backup/restore with SWPM (backup was from our production system). When we click on history, no data is shown:
We have to click on "-> Server", then the data is shown:
Does anyone know how to make history work?

    Hello Alwina,
    Thanks for the help.
Mine is EHP7 NW 7.4, standard system, cent serv instance(Mes Serv & Enqueue server), primary app server (Dia Bg Up Spo) runs on the single host along with Oracle DB 11.2.0.4.
In my rest of the systems also I have the same notations, server name its in upper case and hostname is in lower case (ofcourse they are of other netweaver release) for SM51.
    niping results
    Hostname/Nodeaddr verification:
    ===============================
Hostname of local computer: EUSAPADHR01                      (NiMyHostName)
FQHN of local computer: EUSAPADHR01.dfs                      (NiGetOwnFQDN)
    Lookup of hostname: EUSAPADHR01                              (NiHostToAddr)
        --> IP-Addr.: 10.170.83.88
    Lookup of IP-Addr.: 10.170.83.88                             (NiAddrToHost)
        --> Hostname: eusapadhr01.abc
    Lookup of hostname: EUSAPADHR01                              (NiHostToAddr)
        --> IP-Addr.: 10.170.83.88
    Lookup of IP-Addr.: 10.170.83.88                             (NiAddrToHost)
        --> Hostname: eusapadhr01.abc
Yes initially it gives 8 characters in the text.
But in the actual values it is like eusapadh_HRP_40..
    Hope you understand my case.
Ok so implementing the note would fix this ST02 history issue - confirm?
