E-Recruiting EEO/General employement ?

Hello,
I am implementing e-Recruiting 3.0 and we need to add and EEO/General Employement questions to the Cadidate profile container.  I am having a problem with it, everytime i add an element "Application Wizard: Questionnaire"  when i go to candidate profile its giving me internal error.  What am i doing wrong, or is this a wrong element all together.
Please help many points for this answer or pointing to right direction.

Hello Alex,
you cannot assign the questionnaire container sequence to sequences 0001 and 0003. It's just possible to assign them to application wizard sequences. Do you really want to assign the questionnaire as part of the "candidate's profile" or as part of an application?

  • Web dynpro ABAP E-recruiting

    Hi all,
I would like to know the forms integration and supportability  for web dynpro ABAP, i.e. should we use smart forms or adobe forms(what does SAP provide) for E-recruiting.

It depends when it comes to ABAP what you wanna use.
I dont remember specific to e-recruiting. for general ABAP check this link -

  • Technical Interview Questions

Had a technical interview recently over the phone for a J2EE postion. The rules of the game were that I would be asked each question only twice. I then had to come out with an answer. Here are the questions, hopefully I have them right. Some are easy, some are not easy.
Curious as to what the answers are for a), b), d)(especially d), and f).
    a) What is the worst case time to find a non null object in an array (or arraylist not sure if it was array or arraylist)?
    b) What is the best case time to find a non null object in a hashmap?
    c) Name three Servlet classes that are used to manipulate session information.
    d) Before calling the wait, notifyall methods on a thread , what do you need to do to the thread?
    e) Name three classes used to create a JDBC connection to a database.
    f) In a message driven bean , on the onmessage() event, is it possible to send a synchronous message?

The potential employer didn't decide to progress with my application.
So, that could mean two things:
    a) I didn't answer most of the questions right.
    or
    b) I wasn't communicating clearly to the recruiter of the employer. The recruiter(she wasn't a technical person) had all the questions pre written down and was reading them to me over the phone. She was simply writing my responses down. Weird setup if you ask me.
Problem with me is that I am pretty good in Java, pretty good in C sharp, pretty good in VB, pretty good in SQL Server, etc. I am the 'pretty good' person.
Time for me to become an expert in some field. Enough of being 'pretty good'.
Time to decide on a field. Field is definitely not going to be Java or DOT net. Developers have to work to hard and don't get any respect(plus everything is being outsourced, especially developer work), and to get a job one has to be an expert. Time to move on to hopefully bigger things.....

  • EEO Questionnaire -- SAP E-Recruiting

How you restrict the HM and recruiting from accessing the candidates responses to the EEO questionnaire.  The EEO questionnaire is included in the application wizard

    Hi Raja,
If you are using e-Recruiting: ehp4 - in Requirements tab, there are 3 blocks.
    1.Education Requirements
    2.Qualifications
    3.Questionnaires.
In Questionnaires block you can attach a Questionnaire to the Requisition.
    Hope this helps.

  • Changing values for EEO Questionnaire Information Fields in E-Recruiting

We are implementing E-Recruiting 6.0.  I have changed entries for EEO values for Race Category via the IMG SAP E-Recruiting>Recruitment>Applicant Tracking>Questionnaires>Equal Employment Opportunities-->Assign Values to Information Fields.  When I attempt to create an EEO questionnaire using the new values, the old values are retained.  I have been able to determine that when an EEO questionnaire is created entries are created in the T77RCF_MBO_ATTR table linking the values with a VC object, but I haven't been able to figure out if there is a way to clear out/fix the entries in that table.
Any assistance with this problem would be appreciated.

    Hello Cornelia, Hello Roman,
first of all: thank you for your very fast reply. I tried to delete the cache as mentioned above and invested some hours in investigation. Your answers gave me some new searchwords and it looks like I found the solution.
I found note 830251 where SAP said, that there is a difference between old and new way of implementing Corporate Desing to BSP-Applications.
The old method is the one I mentioned above, but this works only as long as SAP_BW 3.5 SP04 is not in the system. After SAP_BW 3.5 SP04  is used, there is a new way to change the design of BSP-Applications.
Here is the link to the note:
    https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/830251
I will try it and - for the case somebody else will ever have the same problem - post the results.
Once again thank you for your great help
    Kind regards
    Michael

  • EEO Data -- Race & Gender ( E-Recruiting)

My customer want to collect Race and Gender on a couple of screens in E-Recruiting (Rather than just in EEO Questionnaire)
Where is Race and Gender stored for candidates (internal / external) in E-Recruiting.

    Hi Vishal,
There is no standard field available but this requirement can be handled through an enhancement in the specific BSP page. In your requirement it will be personal details tab in candidate profile wizard and it would also necessiate to enhance infotype HRP5102 - candidate information with this field.
You can also refer the blog below contributed by Hemendra Singh Manral to understand how to go about doing this enhancement in the BSP.

  • E-Recruiting problem with EEO Questionnaire

    Hello,
I am having a problem getting a new EEO questionnaire to attach to a Process Template.  When I create a Process Template and add an Application Entry process, I then select Activity "Questionnaire in Application Form".  When I search for the questionnaire, only the job related questionnaires that I created show up.  I've read a few other posts relating to this, and can confirm that the Application Wizard container does include the "Application Wizard: Questionnaire" element, and the questions and questionnaire have a status of "released".  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
We are running 3.0 SP 12 in a stand-alone environment.
    Thank you,

  • E Recruiting : Race/Gender (EEO Questionnaire) link to candidate profile

    Hi All,
When a candidate (external/internal) fills out the EEO questionnaire (Race/Gender) for the first time it should get stored/linked to his profile so that it should not ask him again when he is filling out another job application
Currently there is no such linkage. When the existing candidate comes back to fill another job application the EEO questionnaire comes up blank again for him to fill.
This should not happen, it should show him the existing selections he made earlier and he should be able to change them if required.
Any clue as to how this could be achieved. Appreciate any kind of input.
    Thanks.

    Well,
the only feasible is a workflow or periodical service which sends out the e-mail.
Adding to the profile is not that easy. The questionnaire step in the application wizard is connected to the process template or questionnaire step in the requisition. So there is some place where you can define the questionnaire for the wizard.
For the profile there is nothing like a process template. So what you would have to do is programming a custom roadmap step which reads the specific EEO questionnaire from a customizing table or a simple application where you define the "profile specific EEO questionnaire".
So that's some kind of requirement which is not just an easy to do out of the box option. It is possible, but a little bit of effort!
The customizing table or application for assigning the EEO template for profile maintenance is needed as well, if you just do the workflow
    Best regards

  • E-Recruiting-  Sign on correspondance

    Hi
Signature on Correspondence.  Users don’t want to sign on each document. What is the best method, are you using, a digital signature or note on the doc that 'SAP generated document and no sign is required.

    Hi Robin,
I have to admit that i spite of the various projects I did on my own or got in contact with this is a new requirement. So far I found the following attempts to the topic.
    1) Some companies no longer communicate by hardcopy letters with the applicant anymore. If someone sends its resume via letter or via email the application is not entered into the system. there is a person (probably an intern) printing a standard word letter and sending the document to the applicant to inform him that he shall apply online. Usually noone in the project cares if the intern likes signing the letter or not - that's life :o).
Only contracts are send as hardcopy and they have to be signed by hand anyways.
    2) Very often recruitment comes from a nearly 100% hardcopy process when they switch to e-recruiting. Some companies had online tools before but the process itself / the communication with the applicant was hardcopy. So they change from singning 100% of the correspondence to perhaps 10% as the rest is handled via email. So usually they have 90% less work - so why complain?
Perhaps some HR people get to mind that if the new IT system automates parts of the process they have probably really less to do and if they focus on the topic someone else might really think of it and find out that more productive system leads to less recruiters necessary - so they try to avoid this topic.
    3) From my former HR time I know that it usually helps to bundle the work. Instead of running to the printer every 5 minutes and sign a single letter we printed all not urgent letters overnight and in the morning someone was responsible for taking all letters and distributing them to the different recruiters / admins. Then they signed their 50-100 lettern in 5 Minutes and they were put on a pile so the intern could send them away. This makes things much more efficient and accepted by the recruiting team. I know one of our customers printing e-recruiting letters over night too.
In general you could write an "automated letter"- info on the letter. It is surely also possible to add the pictures of signitures to sap and put it in the smartform. As I usually implelemt a recruiter info table for tel. numbers, signature title and stuff, I would add a column there to store the name of the picture. Only restriction might be the restrictions on picture resolution in smartforms. But signing letters by hand is in my opinion a way you express your appriciation to the applicant. Even if you print an image you can always see it.
I have a customer being always among the top companies in employer branding and applicant rankings. The correct and individual way of communication with the applicant is there seen as an important element to build and keep this rank. If the recruiters would complain about signing the letters the project lead might force them to write the whole letters by hand again to show what is really much effort :o). At last e-recruiting is for treating applicants well first and recruiter come in second place.

  • E-Recruitment  and EHS - tables are missing ECC 6.0

    Hello All,
We have recently noticed that we have tables missing in our  SAP HCM and our EHS(Employe Health and Safety) Development Box.  I am attaching the list of tables for review by all.  Can someone tell me, please, if they know what these tables are for and if they are part of a note or submodule running off main modules for E-Recruitment and EHS.  I checked notes in OSS but cannot find the tables for the EHS or E-RC modules.
We cannot find these tables listed anywhere.  We are using ECC 6.0 and the BB installlment was for N. America.
    <b>EH&S Tables</b>
CCRCC_CHCK_ON - EHS: Online Checks for Regulation/Scenario/Scenario Category
CCRCC_DET - EHS: Data Determination Modules per Regulation/Scenario
    CCRCC_DETDOCTYPE - EHS: Modules for Regulation/Scenario/Scenario Category
CCRCC_EXCHG - EHS: Data Transfer from and to EH&S
    CCRCC_FILTER - EHS: Data Filtering
CCRCC_LIMITG - EHS: General Quantity Restriction
CCRCC_LIMITS - EHS: Relative Quantity Restriction
    CCRCC_MON - EHS: Monitoring Settings
    CCRCC_PERIOD - EHS: Period Definition
    CCRCC_SCENTYPE - EHS: Scenario-to-Scenario-Category Assignment
    <b>ERECRUIT - PA-ER - E-Recruiting</b>
T77RCF_INCL2FORM - Assignment of Text Element to Smart Form Template
    T77RCF_WL - Worklist
T77RCF_WLA_IDXGR - Index Group for Worklists
T77RCF_WL_ACT_P - Action Profile of Worklists
    T77RCF_WL_OUT_P - Output Profile
T77RCF_WL_SEL_P - Selection Profile for Worklists
T77RCF_WL_SEL_PV - Values for Selection Profiles in Worklists
    Points awarded!!

    Hello Brenda,
I cannot speak for the EHS stuff but the tables you mentioned for E-Recruiting are part of the functional enhancements for e-recruiting 600 delivered with e-recruiting servie pack 7.
E-recruiting delivered 2 service packs which implmented new functioons. These were the e-recruiting packs 5 and 7. Futere enhancements will be delivered with the standard EhP (enhancement package) szenario - first of them is EhP3 for e-recruiting awaylable today if i remémber the schedules correctly..
You are probably missing these tables as you do not have installed the packages yet - so check your sp level. I strongly recommend you to upgrade to the newest service pack 11 for e-recruiting especially if you use / plan to use the webdynpro candidate frontend. But also for other implementation szenarios the sps are very urgent.
    For the table in detail:
T77RCF_INCL2FORM - is a tablke for the new letter / correspondence change functionality using a dedicated changable text area in the smartform whixh has the advantage towards the old solution that changed correspondence can be printed propperly.
All other tables are part of the so called dashboard functionality.
You can find additional information on these functional enhancements in the software download centered of the sapnet under "Installations and Upgrades" -> "SAP Application Components" -> "SAP ERP" -> "SAP ERP 2005" -> "Documentation".

  • E-Recruiting 6.0: Search Profile & Search Template

    Hi Experts,
I am trying to enhance and configure the Search function (which can be triggered in Talent Management or Candidate Selection Search) in  E-Recruiting 6.0
Can anyone tell me the difference in config/purpose between the config:IMG->SAP E-Recruiting->Recruitment->Talent Warehouse->Candidate->Candidate Search, Search Profile and Search Template?
I read the online help and it only describe about Search Template and not Search Profile.  I also check the standard system and it only displays what is configured for Search Template and NOT Search Profile.
Is the Search Profile still in use and what is the purpose if I have already configured the Search Template?
    Thanks in advance.

Edited by: William Toh on Mar 24, 2008 6:11 AM

    Hello Bill,
unfortunately the information that an internal candidate has left (or will leave - in this case the is_inactive flag will be set at the leave date via a periodical service processing table t77rcf_p_stat) can be easily seen on the databese but not in the e-recruiter applications.
I am not really sure if the employee id should disappear in candidacy table or not (customers see this different according to their attitute to rehiring people) but in general sap did not implement alot of functionalities to differ between internal and external candidates. Ok there is something for correspondence but it is not even possible to have different questionaires in the application wizard for external iand internal applicants.
In my opinion I'd assume that an employee applying on an internal position and leaving in the process is a 1 of 1000 case, as long as the process does not take eternities so I personally would not invest much effort into it. You cannot handle every special case in a system (or at leat noone pays for it) and from my experience in companies up to perhaps 2k employees, everyone in HR knows who leaves.
If you really have a strong business need in this issue, e.g. positions are published internally and once someone leaves has imedeately taken of the position you could use the the e-recruiting BAdI which is available in the BAdI implementation delivered by SAP to handle the candidate creation and stuff. You could add functionality into it that it tracks if there is a leave and the candidate has open applications and send the recruiter of the requisition an email. Other solution might be a periodical service or any other background job which checks this and destributes the information so the recruiter can take the necessary actions.
