E-Recruiting - Interviews

Hi,
How are Interview assessment comments and status of the interviews maintained in E-Recruiting?

Hi,
Interview remarks can be tracked by way of creating an activity. For ex: A questionnnaire activity can be used for this purpose wherein the Recruiter assigns a questionnnaire activity to the linemanager which is a part of the support team asking feedback on the candidates performance.
The questionnnaire can be configured with the scales as required with ratings. For ex -  very much suitable, Suitable , Less suitable, rejected or with Input area for the linemenager (whoever does the interview) to enter comments on the candidates performace and complete the questionnnaire.
On completion of the questionnaire, the recruiter would be able to view the questionnnaire against the activity which he had earlier created and assigned to line manager
Hope this clarirfies..
Best Regards

  • E-recruiting : Interview feedback & Offer letter tracking

    Hi,
I am new to recruiting module and am looking for answers for the following, please provide inputs if you have worked on any of these items:
    1) I want to know details around how to track offer letters generated? How can we have a unique identifier for offer letters? Can we use offer letter serial number if so how to generate that?
    2) Is thr a way by which we can provide statuse to offer letter like offer accepted, offer withdraw, offer declined, awaiting etc?
    3) how to capture interview results/feedback? can the results of previous interview be made available for the current interviewer ? can the applicant data and thr resume be made available for the interviewer?
    4) can we restrict to have a 1 - to - 1 mapping for number of positions in a requisition versus offer letters rolled out?
    Thanks

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply and input...
I am very new to SAP world and am aware of only the defination or the concept of infogroups. Could you please shed some more light on how the requirements we have can be handled using E-recruiting infogroups?
    Thanks

    2) How do you increase morale within the project team?

    6) How did you handle the need for a resource with a specific skill set, when that resource was not available for your project?

    Ranga

    Ranganath,
The questions you have asked are asically supposed to be answered by your own real-life experinces on projects, clients or with your fellow team-members.
How can you rote-learn such questions?
Besides the experiences may differ from one individual to another.

  • How many special charcters in RSKC

    Hi Guru,s.
Could any one tell me, how many special characters  we can enter in RSKC, which have been asked in the interview.
    Regards.
    Harry

    Anyway, just a personal comment...
(Starting from my multi-years BI experience) I'm sometimes involved in some recruiting interview in my company, but, onestly, asking how many special characters you can put in RSKC transaction (instead of asking what is the purpose of this transaction) is really a stupid question (maybe good for a BW version of Who Wants To Be a Millionaire...)
All my sympathy to all BW novices !
    Bye,

  • Regarding Interview part in E-Recruitment

    Hi,
How is Interview part captured in E-Recruitment.
Say for example Interview time, date, location etc.
Where is the Interview Panel List defined. Is it captured in R/3 or is it done in Portal part?

    Hi,
e-recruiting has no time schedule functionality to list all your interviews or offer the posibility to plan ressource e.g. the number of candidates already invited to a accessment center which has a max capacy of 20.
The only current possibility is the application "my planned activities" where you can display all activities of type "Interview". If I remember correctly you can also choose the invitation date for this activity category.

  • E-recruiting activity - telephone interview

    Dear experts,
I would like to know if there is any option in E-rec. 600 for the recruiter to take notes during the telephone interview.
    Regards,
    Bharat

    Dear Bharat,
When you create an activity for the'Telephone interview" & create this activity against a candidacy, there is a tab available called "Note" where you can typein freetext regarding the candidacy/assignment.
Example : If Telephone interview is a qualifying event activity category, when this activity is created aganist a candidate, you can enter the details. The second tab is the "Note" tab.

  • Recruitment module ---interview call letter through email

    Hi Gurus
My client is implementing Recruitment module ( Not  E- Recruitment module), they asked for is there any why to send interview call letter to the candidateu2019s personal email ID through SAP.  Is it required to activate any BAdi.
Is this a customized scenario or  a standard settings?
    Please advice.
    Thank you,
    Srinvias

yes there is standard apllication for getting the mail activated viz applicant activity types/ status......
below is the part which has to be customizied in order to get the mail activated..... you choose feature PACTV for assigning the aplicant activity types to the status of the application.... based on which automatically the mail can be triggred........and feature MAILS define the activiyt type and the std text which you want to activate.... ex Below the std text used is MAIL-APP-INTERVIEW which will be called if activity is appointment for interview..... meaning of variuos variable can be found in the forum.....
    APACT Applicant activity type
    005 Appointment for interview
    IDTXT MAIL-APP-INTERVIEW
    RECV1
    RECV2 X
    RECV3 X
    SUBTY 0001
    OUTBX X
After this you have to take care of the standard text in SO10 and here you will need a abaper to put the variable name etc which you would require... to place....
if any further queries ...let me know..

  • Follow-up Activities in Recruitment...

    Hi Experts,
I have a query regarding 'Recruitment-PB60'. When I try to do 'Follow-up Activities', it is not working & giving me an error- 'Activity
type 007 not maintained (Choose another Entry) & likewise Activity Type 018 & 016 not ..............'
How would it be sorted out? Kindly explain.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Geeta Chaudhary.

    Hi,
If you are hiring the applicant after completing  the Bulk processing PBA3.
    1. In PB60 you first select the Hire date from the planned activities and click on  Follow-up activities then from the pop p screen tick the completed activity as interview inv.
In the next pop up complete activity select the activity type 016 interim reply.
    2. Next again select the hire date from the planned activity and go to edit and select created completed activity and select the activity type 014 Hiring date.
Try to execute this and see.

  • E-recruitment 6.0 - Smart Form - Text Module - Qualifying Event

    Hi all,
    Once more a question:
    E-recruitment 6.0
Smartforms with invitation letters (for example for an interview)
In the recruiter's portal we use a 'qualifying event' to 'set' an appointment' , date, time, place etc.
We use the input from this reference activity in the text module of the smartform.
The text module holds the main text of the letter.
The text from the module appears in the recruiters portal when the recruiter performs activity 'send letter' (act. type: invitation) so that he can add some text manually if he likes.
This functionality is in E-R6.0 since SP7
It goes well when the recruiter does not add anything manually. The variables load in the smartform and it works as wel wanted.
BUT when the recruiter manually changes the letter (the text module) in the recruiters portal, all variable are lost from the letter.
I hope someone can help me out.

You need to use the functionality "Changeable letter".

  • E-Recruiting - Recruiter URL works for one user and doesn't for another

    Hi
I am new to e-Recruiting, so any help will be greatly appreciated.
We are in the process of configuring the SAP e-recruiting module on  an existing HCM system.  It is only a demo system.
We started off with the IDES, with SAP sample data.
We activated the BSPs via SICF.
We generated the BSP URLs via program rcf_generate_urls.
We picked two existing employees (PERNRS) in the system and linked test IDs (USERID1, USERID2) to them in infotype 105.  Both USERID1 and USERID2 have BASIS/Superuser authorizations.
When USERID1 runs the recruiter startpage it displays the page correctly.  Pernr of USERID1 has a Candidate(NA Object) linked to it's CP object.
When USERID2 runs the recruiter start page it gives an internal error.  This Id's pernr does not have a candidate object.
Should there be a NA object for every CP object?  Does any one have some business process guides that may help us understand the relationships between the objects?
    Please advise.
    Thank you
    Amina

    Hello Amina,
not everyone should have a candidate (NA) object, every one MUST have a candidate object. No matter which role someone plays within the e-recruiting system (recruiter, manager, admin, internal candidate, external candidate, talent manager, ...) he needs a candidate to work with the system.
Assuming you have an ERP2005 (= E-Recruiting 600) you can use report RCF_USER_CREATE to create users for test purposes. For the productive environment you have to set up HR -> E-recruiting integration and can run HRALXSYNC to create candidates for existing employees.
I am not sure how much business process documentation there is in sap help. I have to admit I prefere learning from the system. Perhaps a very rough overview:
    e-rec brings the following objects:
    NA - Candidate
NB - Requisition / Application Group
    NC - Posting
    ND - Application
    NE - Candidacy
    NF - Talent Group
furthermore e-recruting uses some additional objects from the hr base and other components (P Employee, CP Central Person, US User, BP Business Partner, O OrgUnit, S Position, QK qualification group, Q qualification, VA/VB/VC Questionaire and its elements)
NA - The candidate is the central representation of everyone in e-recruiting. A Candidate is always linked to a CP which is linked to a BP and a US. If the person is an employee the CP is linked to the P object, too. (Hint: for integrated systems the user for an employee is not linked in HRP1001 but retrieved from IT0105 directly, e-recruiting uses a standard function of HR here, the hr function modules for reading object releations virtualize this assingment as hrp1001 relation).
NB - The NB object has currently 3 slightly different tasks. As requisition it is the internal view for an internal/external hiring request, it defines what you are looking for e.g. "ABAP programer, 40 hours/week, place of work London, ..". As application group it allows to accept applications for "areas" where you have currently no exact position to hire but regularely look for canditates. Application groups channalize unsolicited applications e.g. Interns, Engineers. Third usage is the requisition for succession planning - not really important.
NC - Posting is supposed to be the outside view. It contains the texts for the requisition published in the different channels. as you might to use a different text for the different media a requisition can have several postings. A posting has one or more posting instances / publications. They are not an hr object type, they define the channel with publication duration and language where you publish your posting.
ND - The application can be compared with the hardcover application. If a candidate applies he creates an application. The application is linked to the candidate of course and as the candidate applies through a certain channel the application is linked to the posting.
NE - The candidacy is the assignment to a requisition. You could say it is the task / intention to check a candidate for the requisition so it is linked to the requisition and the candidate. As the candidate applies for the job described by the requisition (application group are treated the same here) an application is always linked to at least one candidacy. If a recruiter decides based on the candidates profile that he is interesting for another open positions he can add more candidacies to the application to check the candidate for these requisitions. There is also the posibilit that you create a candidacy w/o application. Every external who applied and every employee is in the system even if he has no active application. External candidates can even register to the system w/o applying. You can check this pool for suitable candidate an assign them to a requisition. This is a candidacy w/ an application. You can later request a candidate to apply to this requisition but it is theoretical possible to process the complete hiring just with a candidacy.
NF The Talent group is used to structure the huge amount of candidates in the pool. E.g. you can form a talent group "High Potentials - Design Engineers". You can use these groups to easier find suitable known candidates if a matching requisition is opened. But they are also needed for pool development. For short applicant groups you can track them and try to stick with your company till you get the right opening for them.
The other object are linked to this core. Qualifications are linked to requisitions as requirement and linked to candidates of course. OrgUnits and Positions can be linked to requisitions to link to OM. Questionaires are assigned to candidates at all for general appraisal or to candidacies to appraise the suitability for the requisition or to track interview, assessment results.
There ore other "objects" in e-recruiting which are not represented by an OTYPE. One example is mentioned above the publication. Others are recruiting team and recruiting plan. If you need information to one of these just post another reply.
Hope that gives some basic overview about the objects.
    Best Regards

  • Webdynpro interview questions and answers

    hi friends
i need webdynpro interview questions and answers
    urgently
    thanks

    Hi Ramachandran,
There is a seperate book in sap Press for interview question but will cost a lot and i dont think it is easily available in India.
But then, if you are aware of Webdynpro for Java, you dont have to worry a lot. Since Webdynpro is a new technology, People who really want to recruit people will stick to basic questions.
I can give some examples below
    1. What is adaptive RFC and How to Use it
    2. What are the table variants and how to use each of them
    3. Can ask about tree and trees in table.
    4. What is singleton and supply function
    5. Some basic Portal Admin Question.
    6. basic customization question using HTMLB
    7. What is the diff between Adaptive rfc and adaptive web servie and who to use both.
    8. Diff between drop down by key and drop down by index.
    9. diff between Link by action and link by url and other Basic UI questions.
    10. Might ask about merge functionality of NWDI if used.
    11. Might ask about dynamic Ui and Context Generation
    12. and So on.
I have attended Few interviews and know many of those questions. I cannot put every thing here.
But Dont worry. If the interview is for Selecing people and not to show ego of how good the person who is interviewing is , will ask basic to understnd how good the candidate is in understanding basics as rest all have the document in SDN.
    Hope it helps.
