  • E Recruiting- application wizard link on the Registration page

    Hi
    On the Candidate registration screen there is an u2018application wizard linku2019, which facilitates registered candidates to log-on and apply for the vacancy.
    The standard screen (HRRCF_A_CANDIDATE_REGISTRATION) doesnu2019t display this link. This is a web dynpro component, is it possible to populate the above link on this page or is it a development. We are using EP5 version.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
    If I understand you clearly, login is done by configuring application hrrcf_a_startpage_ext_cand This application will require a user to login automatically when you click it on it. hrrcf_a_candidate_registration will be used to register i.e. get a username and password. once you have them you can then login through hrrcf_a_startpage_ext_cand i.e. for external candidates. For internal candidates, they use hrrcf_a_startpage_int_cand and normally if you have portal, they will automatically be logged in using SSO. When testing for external candidates just make sure you have closed other sessions because the system might not request password and directly log you through SSO as well.

  • E-Recruiting EhP4 -- App Wizard

    Is it possible to track any updates the candidate (candidacy) makes to the application. My customer want to track dates of update also.

    Hello,
    Once the application is submitted, the application cannot be edited. The candidate may however edit their profile - like education  and work experience. In case you need to see these, can you look at for example standard workflow WS51900011. In the standard system, if any of the activities there are created there is a step called 'Add Resume to Audit Trail'. Through that, the system will capture what the application of the candidate has at that time. When the next activity is created another trail is captured. Through the Administrator role, there is a WD application ERC_A_ADMIN_ATRL. When the trail us captured you can execute this application to display all the application for the candidate if it was captured. You can then be able to see if changes were done to the application in between the activities.You may then build your logic based on the classes called here to add the trail whenever candidate changes for example.

  • E-Recruiting 6.0: Search Profile & Search Template

    Hi Experts,
    I am trying to enhance and configure the Search function (which can be triggered in Talent Management or Candidate Selection Search) in  E-Recruiting 6.0
    Can anyone tell me the difference in config/purpose between the config:IMG->SAP E-Recruiting->Recruitment->Talent Warehouse->Candidate->Candidate Search, Search Profile and Search Template?
    I read the online help and it only describe about Search Template and not Search Profile.  I also check the standard system and it only displays what is configured for Search Template and NOT Search Profile.
    Is the Search Profile still in use and what is the purpose if I have already configured the Search Template?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Bill,
    unfortunately the information that an internal candidate has left (or will leave - in this case the is_inactive flag will be set at the leave date via a periodical service processing table t77rcf_p_stat) can be easily seen on the databese but not in the e-recruiter applications.
    I am not really sure if the employee id should disappear in candidacy table or not (customers see this different according to their attitute to rehiring people) but in general sap did not implement alot of functionalities to differ between internal and external candidates. Ok there is something for correspondence but it is not even possible to have different questionaires in the application wizard for external iand internal applicants.
    In my opinion I'd assume that an employee applying on an internal position and leaving in the process is a 1 of 1000 case, as long as the process does not take eternities so I personally would not invest much effort into it. You cannot handle every special case in a system (or at leat noone pays for it) and from my experience in companies up to perhaps 2k employees, everyone in HR knows who leaves.
    If you really have a strong business need in this issue, e.g. positions are published internally and once someone leaves has imedeately taken of the position you could use the the e-recruiting BAdI which is available in the BAdI implementation delivered by SAP to handle the candidate creation and stuff. You could add functionality into it that it tracks if there is a leave and the candidate has open applications and send the recruiter of the requisition an email. Other solution might be a periodical service or any other background job which checks this and destributes the information so the recruiter can take the necessary actions.

  • ERecruitment:  Unregistered Application Wizard (hrrcf_a_reg_applwzd_unreg)

    We have an issue where if you provide URL of application group to candidate, adn you have not registered, you get logon after filling in personal information (First, Last, Email Address x 2).  The candidate record is created, but the application wizard never presents, but instead you get a logon prompt.  Only logon that works for that is an internal candidate and then app wizard presents.
    Note: If you take App Group URL and are already registered in the Talent Warehouse, you can click Application Wizard hyperlink, instead of completing personal information, and complete application wizard that way.
    My user assigned to the SICF service hrrcf_a_reg_applwzd_unreg is a "service" user.   Help is appreciated.  Did I miss another service?  I don't think so, but maybe.

    Hi Justin,
    when E-Recruiting was released this whole application scenario was very buggy. Took quite a while to get fixed all bugs. If you are lower than SP11 for E-Recruiting 600 please check if you can upgrade to this support package to exclude the posiibility that these bugs cause the error, e.g. the standard roles for 2 server web dynpro scenario were wrong.
    If you are on a current support package level this described error usually results from a misconfiguration / wrong customer roles which prevent the candidate from being created properly. When the candidate including the user can not be created the system cannot change from the service user to the candidate and so it cannot enter the application wizard and requires a login.
    I think the system gives some information in application log on the error. Check SLG1 for messages. If you are not familiar with the meaning just post the message here. I think someone will be able to help.

  • Number of Tab Strips in BSP pages of E-Recruitment

    Hello,
    We have a problem with number of tab strips visible per page in Job Interest Wizard page of E-Recruitment.
    The default number of tabs are 5 per page.
    In our case we put a large text in each tab (as per our business requirement), so these tabs extending beyond the page width and thus a horizontal scroll is appearing.
    We do not want this horizontal scroll as some of the inputs fields with asteric () , the asteric () is not visible to the user unless he scroll the page to the right.
    We wanted to either display only 4 tabs page or wrap the text if these tabs, so that all 5 tabs exactly fit in the screen.
    I have no clue on which BSP application is handling these tabstrips for Job Interest Wizard.
    Any suggestions is rewarded
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards
    Raghu Kolukuluri

    Someone provided this answer to me with regards to number of tabs visible on a wizard;
    The class that needs to be changed is CL_HRRCF_BSP_EXT_CONTAINERSEQ.
    To modify the number of tabs shown (in addition to other parameters) you
    can go to method GET_CS_ITEM and change the call to the factory method.
    The code looks like this:
      lo_cs ?= cl_phtmlb_containersequence=>factory(
        collapsed             = 'false'
        collapsible           = 'false'
        design                = 'transparent'
        hascontentconnector   = 'false'
        hastitle              = 'true'
        id                    =  lv_id
        maxvisibleitems       = '5'
        scrollableitems       = 'true'
        selectedindex         = controller->selected_index
        showstepnumber        = 'true'
        titleselected         = 'false'
        items                 = lt_items ).
    Maxvisibleitems is the number of tabs show at once. Showstepnumber
    determines if the tabs are numbered. Setting this to false may save some
    space.
    Hope this helps

  • Recruiting problem with the candidate search by trex with questionnaires

    Hi Gurus,
    I am trying to search candidates using trex in recruiting by candidate_questionnaires but the trex does not show any result. How can I solve it?
    When candidates register theirselves on internet, they complete questionnaires that I have added in the apllication wizard.
    But the problem starts when I want to search candidates by the answers that they have complete in this questionnaire. So I select the criteria search candidate questionnaire, then I select the questionnaire and then the answer and I run the searh. I know that the results shown are always about others requisitions and not the one that I am doing the search. But in my case candidates are assigned in other requisition with the same process template so I do not know where is the problem, because other sort of search works fine. This is the only one that it does not work.
    In addition, I have run the report RCF_CHECK_SEARCH_SETTINGS but the result is that all the parameters are fine except that I have not implement the badi HRAHAP00_FOLLOW_UP_SES. May I have to implement?
    Moreover I have seen that when I select the answer to search, any operator (element of selection mask) is assigned but I have read that it is correct because I am using the search profile "int_cand" with the category "candidate_document" that it use in the mask search candidate_questionnaire.
    In conclusion, I don't know how I can solve this problem with trex? Any idea?
    Thanks in advance,
    Juanjo Garcin.

    I've already done it.
    Do you think this will help?
    I doubt that Apple will listen to us. Users with a problem that occurs quite a lot.

    What did I do wrong?
    Thanks for any help.

    I see some possible problems with the query.  Does it return expected results when executed in the Query window in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)?
    1.  You will want to specify fields explicitly in the select list, rather than using "*"
    2.  You will want to add r3 and r4 aliases in the subqueries, because OrderTravOutput r2 and r3 are definitely in scope there, and specifying an unqualified "OrderID" in the join condition would be ambiguous.
    3.  Add an ORDER BY clause to the second subquery, because otherwise TOP 1 OrderSkillSet is meaningless.
    4.  The intersection of these two subqueries may exclude records you want to see.  For example, you might have 20 records for a particular combination of OrderID and TravelerID.  But if one of those records has
    the MAX(CompleteDate) and a different record has the TOP 1 OrderSkillSet, the query will return zero records for this OrderID and TravelerID, because there is no single record that satisfies both conditions.  Is this what you intend?  Running the
    query first in SSMS helps to clarify whether it is returning the expected results.
    Anyway, you could start with something like this version of the query:
    SELECT DISTINCT r2.TravelerID,
    r2.FirstName,
    r2.LastName,
    r2.Email
    FROM OrderTravOutput r2
    JOIN OrderTravOutput r3 ON r2.OrderID = r3.OrderID
    AND r2.CompleteDate = (SELECT MAX(CompleteDate)
    FROM OrderTravOutput r3
    WHERE r3.OrderID = r2.OrderID
    AND r3.TravelerID = r2.TravelerID)
    AND r2.OrderSkillSet = (SELECT TOP 1 OrderSkillSet
    FROM OrderTravOutput r4
    WHERE r4.OrderID = r2.OrderID
    AND r4.TravelerID = r2.TravelerID
    ORDER BY r4.OrderSkillSet)

  • SAP e-Recruiting - WebDynPro - Flexibilization

    Hi,
    I want to configure a custom roadmap for the WebDynPro-based Candidate Portal. I also want my Candidate Portal to refer to a custom build Search screen, instead of the SAP Standard search screen.
    I have maintained the follwing customizing in the IMG:
    SAP E-Recruiting - Technical Settings - User Interfaces - Web DynPro ABAP - Flexibilization - Backend
    In the section "Start Pages" I have defined:
    a structuring element for first level called "Employment Opportunities".
    a structuring element for second level called "Job Search". This is referring to my custom made search screen.
    I also defined a new start page for external candidates (0001) with configuration ID Z_WDCONF_EXT_CAND. The first and second level are the same as in SAP Standard, except that it refers to the custom made "Job Search" instead of the SAP Standard one.
    In the section "RoadMap Pattern" I have defined:
    "Create Roadmap Pattern": For the startpage of the external candidate, also with configuration ID Z_WDCONF_EXT_CAND I customized that some of the steps are in different sequence ("Attachments" should be the second step).
    My question is: how do you call this configuration? I guess you need to specify somewhere that configuration ID Z_WDCONF_EXT_CAND should be used. I tried to add it as an URL-parameter(&sap-wd-configId=Z_WDCONF_EXT_CAND), but that didn't do the trick. Also, the BaDI  HRRCF00_DETERMINE_APPL_CONFIG is only relevant voor the Application Wizard, not for the startpage of the external candidate.
    Thanks for the help. Points will be awarded!

    Dries,
    Please check - WDA Component/Application Configuration for Logo - HRRCF_C_STARTPAGE
    You can find the way to call your URL.

  • E-Recruitment EHP4 Ext Cand Pages Logo and theme

    Hi,
    I am running e-Recruitment EHP4 SP4 and I want to change both the logo on the applicant cockpit page and also the colours and fonts (theme). Has anyone done this before, or can anyone suggest how this is done?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers
    Tom

    Hello,
    Please check SAP Note 1017866. It explains what is required to apply your own themes and logos for SAP e-Recruiting WebDynpro for ABAP candidate scenarios - i have pasted the relevant sections below for you:
    Themes
    To start Web Dynpro applications concerning a certain theme, you can use "sap-ep-themeroot" URL parameter. Enter the encoded path to the location of the theme as the value of the parameter. Certain Web Dynpro applications are called using a redirect handler. In this case, you do not have to enter the theme as URL parameter. It is sufficient to define the path for the parameter THEME_URL in the back-end system in the Customizing activity "Defining URL parameter for applications with Web Dynpro ABAP".
    Logos
    By implementing Note 1091733, you have the option to integrate logos above the application title using a specific configuration. The note enables you to integrate logos in the following areas:
    .> Unregistered search
    > Apply Using Reference Code
    > Application wizard
    > Registration
    You must create an application configuration and a component configuration for the relevant application. As part of the component configuration, there is a configuration controller with the node 'LOGO' for the following Web Dynpro components:
    > HRRCF_C_SEARCH_UI: Unregistered search
    > HRRCF_C_REFCODE_SRCH_UI: Apply Using Reference Code
    > HRRCF_C_UNREG_APPLWZD_UI: Registration page for the application wizard
    > HRRCF_C_REG_APPLWZD_UI: Application wizard
    > HRRCF_C_REGISTER_UI: Registration
    This configuration controller has the following attributes:
    > VISIBLE: The logo is visible
    > URL: URL of the logo picture
    > HEIGHT: Height of the picture
    > WIDTH: Width of the picture
    In contrast to the abovementioned applications, you do not call the application wizard explicitly but only indirectly (for example as a search result). Here, you can only define the application configurations that you want to use by implementing the BAdI 'HRRCF00_DETERMINE_APPL_CONFIG' (enhancement spot HRRCF_APPLICATION_WIZARD).

    Hi All,
        I'm having a problem with the E-Recruitment Login.After I login it goes to APplication wizard rather than the profile of the user.Please let me know why?And how can I fix it.
    Regards,
    Ramindra

    I think it is related to accessibility in the portal which is intended to assist SAP users who have disabilities, and require information about accessibility features in the SAP. It addresses users who utilize assistive technologies, and those who do not, but do require full keyboard access.
    The check box is put in the 'Welcome to User Registration' window so that as the user you can use 'Activate Accessibility Features'.
    Please see topic Accessibility in the following:

  • E-Recruitment: Process Templates

    Hi All
    I have a query regarding E-Recruitment module.
    I am not clear with the concept of Process templates and Activity types in E-Recruitment.
    According to what i understood..
    Process templates, Processes  and Activities are created by Recruiter once the system is in use.
    There are Standard proccesses and activity types already available.
    1) Then what is the job of a Functional consultant with respect to process templates, proccess, activity types and activities while configuring the system?
    2) Pls Correct me if m wrong..
        The one who is configuring the system, only has to define activity types and make them available for the recruiter to design    his own process templates and processes?
    (If yes then this would simply increase recruiters job)
        ---Activites he will be creating to assign in Processes, will be the instances of Activity Types configured by us.
    Is my understanding correct?
    if no pls explain the correct scenario
    3) What are the restrictions while using process templates by recruiters?
         ---Meaning does the recruiter has to complete activity A compulsorily before going to activity B ?
         ---Can this be controlled by configuration specific to activities and processes based on client's requirments?
    Please help me in understanding the concept clearly
    Regards

    hello asha,
    questionaires are a posibility to flexible gather information from candidates or feedback of people involved in the hiring process.
    There are differen scenarios where questionairs can be used. In the application wizard to gather information not available in standard or only nbeeded from certain target groups / for certain requisitions. You can send a questionaire to a candidate to get additional information of interesting candidates. This way you can keep the application wizard short so not half of the candidates gets tired and leaves the website before reaching the end. You use questionaires for the manegers feedback to an application or to document interview results in the system. Furthermore you can use it for an additinal tagging of candidates in the pool. Instead of only mark them A, B, C you can add a questionaire IT Specialist with 10 questions for skill areas to track OS know how, methology know how, programming language know how, ...
    As consultant you have to help the customer to find where he needs additional data. Then you have to evaluate if the questionaire is the right solution. For a general guideline: questionaires are flexible but horrible to evaluate in mass or used in automated processing. Depending on your skill set a tech guy usually needed here, too.
    Example:
    SAP does not support the nationality in the candidate profile. Many customers here need this information due to early starting processes for getting work permits when hiring a candidate who are no EU resident. You can gather this information with a questionaire or enhance the profile.
    If the customer only wants to have the information to check by hand when planning a hiring, it's ok to use a questionaire. Even if there are different questionaires for the application wizard the recruiter can always look at the one used. If he wants to run statistics on this information or wants to display the information in the data overview questionairs are no good idea. As every new questionaire means changing the data overview and statistics about the HRHAP tables are just horrible.
    When you know where to use questionaires the exact design of the content is of course also your part. The creation of questionaires in the system is in my opinion a customer task as they are usually changing over the time (= replaced by new ones as used questionaires cannot be changed). That's why training them how to maintain questionaires should be you task.

  • E-Recruiting error in SLG1 Log after modification to Container Sequence

    Hello there,
    We are running E-Recruiting 3.0, and I have made a change to the Container Sequence for the Applicaiton Wizard (both employee and external candidate).  My HR group wanted to remove the tab that was for candidates to type in a cover letter, and instead have them attach it (Word doc etc.) on the attachment tab.  After doing this, I did regenerate the URL's using RCF_GENERATE_URLS.
    Now, when I am logged in as a recruiter, if I go into "Candidate Selection" and then drill into the "Application" for any of the candidates, I'm getting an error message in the SLG1 log (I am able to look at the application, only noticable issue is in the SLG1 log).  It is within the Application, and not the Candidate Profile that the text from the "cover letter" tab was showing up.
    The error message is:
    No candidate could be found for US SUPPORT
    The error occurred in program CL_HRRCF_CANDIDATE===========CM003 line 345
    Further details include:
    Error ID:  D66242F98A2D11449DAF9AF0F1EC7982
    Error class:  CX_HRRCF_MAINTAIN_OBJECT
    Error context:  CX_HRRCF_MAINTAIN_OBJECT
    Any guidance that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Leeanna Travis

    Deepak,
    Thank you for the quick response, but It doesn't look like this information helps me.  Service hrrcf_cand_reg does have service user RCF_CAND_UNR assigned to it, along with the eight other services that you listed.
    A user for the candiate does exist, as it was created when they registered on our E-Recruiting site.  The external candidates user ID is a dialog user, and is assigned the authorization given to the reference user RCF_CAND_EXT.
    Basically, I was not getting this error message in the SLG1 log until I removed the "Cover Letter" element from the Application Wizard Container Sequence.  This was done after we went live, and some candidates actually entered information ito the "Cover Letter" tab within the Application Wizard.  I can still see that information now, which I would like to, for the people who actually entered something.  I just want to know how to stop the error messages when I view the application (not the Candidate information).
    Thank you,
    Leeanna

  • Applicationwizard in SAP e-Recruiting

    Dear guru's
    Does the SAP e-Recruiting module provide the flexibility to make use of different customized applicationwizards for different applications or different targetgroups?
    If so. It would be very helpfull if someone is able to point out the customizing steps in which this customizing is done.
    Kind regards,
    L.Tielen

    Hello Loek,
    this is possible using web dynpro configuration and the definition of road maps via the IMG (e-rec -> technical settings).
    Furthermore you have to implement BAdI: "Specify Application Configuration for Application Wizard". This BAdI implementation is used to switch the application wizard to the correct configuration according to your needs (e.g. by target group).
    Kind Regards
    Roman
