E Recruitment Query

Hi,
Wanted to know whether requisitions created in e-recruitment can be deleted from R/3 or the publication date can changed from R/3.
There were some requisition created in E- recruitment portal some time back and the posting date of it is ended. Still the requisition is appearing in portal. I guess the publication date needs to be changed so that it does not appear in portal.
How to check publication date of a particular requisition in R/3 , also wanted to know if it can be changed.
Regards,
Shiva

Hi,
actually go into requisition maintenance. Take the posting and assigned publication and withdraw it.
Best regards
Sebastian

  • Recruitment query....Urgent

    Hi Friends
I just want to do initial data entry (PB10) and tracking of appointment letters that I am sending.
Can anyone suggest me if I can implement just these two steps in recruitment module.
Also, if yes, from where i should start?

    Thanks Santhosh.
But the issue over here is that the client doesnt want the media, recruitment instrument, personnel officer, advertisements and other steps of recruitment.
The client just wants that when the person is given appointment letter, initial data entry should be done and the vacancy that has been already created in OM (expert mode) will show as filled and when the person accepts the appointment letter, then hiring action should be done in PA40 which should be already populated with few fields like name, date of birth as initial data entry has already been done.
So its like, i am not configuring full recruitment module but only a part of it.
    Is it possible ?

  • E Recruitment : Report/Query for Activity Status

    Hi,
Is there a standard report/query which shows all the activities with their corresponding status and due dates.
If not, can someone guide me how to capture this data, in terms of tables which store this details.
    Any inputs on this please....
    Thanks

    Hi,
could you give some additional information on your requirement?
If you need support for the every day work of the recruiter there are standard bsp applications (up to ehp 3) and work sets (for ehp 4 sp 4 and higher) which show the planned activities and planned correspondences for them.
If you need some statistic over all recruiters the are some infosets but I never used them as they never met the requirements in my projects. I'd probably write some report reading the activity infotypes (tables HRP5135 to HRP5142/43 or 45 depending on your e-rec release) directly. For statistics please keep in mind that recruiters tend to not complting all of their activities. So you might gather tons of data from candidacies / applications which belong to requisitions which are already closed.

  • E-recruiting - reporting from SAP Query

    Hi all,
We are using SAP Query to run reports for e-recruiting and have created our own infosets copied from the SAP standard delivered ones.
We are also using the EEO entries based on the configuration tables in the IMG and making these available when creating questions in questionnaires for EEO data. This is all successful and the questionnaires can be completed. However, when trying to report on this data by testing it in SQ01, none of the ethnicity data appears on the output.
Does anyone know if there are any jobs that need to be run to extract the information from questionnaire responses to be reportable through the SAP Query tool?
    Thanks in advance.
    Jim

    Hi Jim,
I need a favour from you, Pls give me some sample SAP query reports that are generated for E-recruiting so as to get familiar with using SP Query for E-recruiting as one of my clients need the same.
    Thanks in advance,
    Kuamr.

  • E-Recruiting EhP4 -- Dashboard / POWL Query

How you customize query in the recruiter dashboard. I register infoset as POWL query no, then I no see it in the dasboard?

    Hello,
I assume what you mean is that you have included the query through report WDK_GENERATE_POWL_CUST or through IMG 'Display Own Queries in POWL'. The next node 'Include Queries in LaunchPad' is what you need to do to include the report in the dashboard. When you click the node, you ha ve to click on change in the column RECRUITER - REPORTS - Recruiter LaunchPad.  You can then create your own folder or include the report in the standard folder. To include your report you click on 'New Application' while highlighting the required folder. In application category you have to select Webdynpro ABAP. You can then enter the other parameters as per your generated report name. You can click on standard 'Activities with Requisition and Candidate' to see how the parameters are supposed to be entered, especially in the Parameter field. Once you save here and then go to the portal, the report should be appearing.
    Hope this helps.

  • Query on Job agent functinality in e recruitment

    <b></b>
    Hi All,
Could any body provide me insight on the Job agent functionality in SAP E- recruitment.
I need to know what is it and how is it used for and it is available in which all versions.
If we are on lower versions are there any support packs available to install this
    Thanks and best regards
    Rajeev Chhabra

The Job Agents solution is available as of EHP3 and only for the candidate role in WebDynpro.
It is used to send alerts to candidates when new postings are created within the system without the need for the candidate to log into the system. Job Agents enable candidates to be notified via email of new job postings that match their search criterion on time and also ensures candidates do not get repetitive mails. This is achieved by creating and scheduling a batch job.

  • E-Recruiting Character to constrict Query on Company

    Hi @ll,
I am using SAP BW 3.5.....
Does everyone knows which character I can use to constrict my queries in HR E-Recruiting on a specific company?
I cant find something like "company code" or something like this....
We have three companies where using E-Recruiting but everyone are just allowed to see their own key figures....
    I would appreciate every answer!
    Thx in advance!

    Hallo Marian,

  • Recruitment - Applicant attachments to be transferred to PA

    Dear Experts,
Im able to transfer Applicant data from recruitment to PA and EMployee ID is generated along with Infotypes updation.
Now my query is Is there any option to transfer Applicants attachments also along with Applicants data transfer to PA in recruirment module??
If so where to do settings.
    Thanks
    Ravi

    Hi,
In SAP each module is a stand alone module.
PBA7  and PBA8 are used for transferring of data from RC to PA.
If you want to transfer any data from one module to other module is possible by using data carrier instruments with technical people help.
    Thanks,

  • Follow-up Activities in Recruitment...

    Hi Experts,
I have a query regarding 'Recruitment-PB60'. When I try to do 'Follow-up Activities', it is not working & giving me an error- 'Activity
type 007 not maintained (Choose another Entry) & likewise Activity Type 018 & 016 not ..............'
How would it be sorted out? Kindly explain.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Geeta Chaudhary.

    Hi,
If you are hiring the applicant after completing  the Bulk processing PBA3.
    1. In PB60 you first select the Hire date from the planned activities and click on  Follow-up activities then from the pop p screen tick the completed activity as interview inv.
In the next pop up complete activity select the activity type 016 interim reply.
    2. Next again select the hire date from the planned activity and go to edit and select created completed activity and select the activity type 014 Hiring date.
Try to execute this and see.

  • Setting query datasource at runtime for FORM Datablock

    Hello all,
    we have below requirement -
the Form datablock is build on a customized table. we need to populate some of the fields of the form by writing a view which joins tables across variousl modules. the form data will be queried by giving po number in query find window. then the rest of the fields are entered from the form front end and saved to the DB Table. we want to query the new po numbers from the view from the query find window. where as the existing po numbers will be queried from the form datablock table only... for this i wrote the below pre_query trigger at datablock level.
    declare
         po_num number;
    BEGIN
    :parameter.G_query_find := 'TRUE' ;
    select count(*) into po_num from ICS_PO_IBOT_ICOT_REP where vendor_po_num = nvl(:QUERY_FIND.PO_NUMBER, vendor_po_num);
         if po_num > 0 then
    COPY(:QUERY_FIND.PO_NUMBER, 'ICS_PO_IBOT_ICOT_REP.VENDOR_PO_NUM');
         else
    set_block_property ('ICS_PO_IBOT_ICOT_REP', QUERY_DATA_SOURCE_NAME, '(select * from ICS_PO_IBOT_ICOT_REP_VIEW where
    VENDOR_PO_NUM = :QUERY_FIND.PO_NUMBER)');
    end if;
    :parameter.G_query_find := 'FALSE';
    end;
    here ICS_PO_IBOT_ICOT_REP - DB TABLE
    ICS_PO_IBOT_ICOT_REP_VIEW - view
condition is checking for existing pos in table.....
The above form while running from oracle apps, entering a New po number in query find window gives following error -
ORA-01008: not all variables are bound.
whereas for old pos it works correctly......................Please help on this...
on more analysis from help-diagnostic-system - last query it gives the below code

please suggest what am i missing?????????????????????
    Thanks,
    Sam

here are the answers to your questions-
    How do you update record?
Do you have any ON-UPDATE, POST-UPDATE, PRE-UPDATE triggers on this block?
Do you have any database triggers on the table?
What is DML Data Target Type property of this block?
it was not required for me to write any ON-UPDATE, POST-UPDATE, PRE-UPDATE triggers on this block to update record. these are done or taken care off automatically. no database trigger is associated with the table. DML data target type is table.
also the block has Query data source type as Table only. and the query data source name is the db table ie ICS_PO_IBOT_ICOT_REP. so what u suggest now? if i simply click on new button and enter some data onto form and save it it is inserting record onto db table. so why cant it insert the record in current scenario when a new PO is queried from the view. Please help on this where i am missing.................

  • E-Recruiting : Role Authorization in e-recruiting standalone scenario

    Hello Friends,
We have EREC on a standalone system (ERD 100). HR ECC is another system (ECD 300), Enterprise portal in another system (EPD 100).
we are on EHP 5, EREC 605, Support Pack 7.
We have activated the single sign on mechanism.
I have following queries regarding role authorizations on EREC in  standalone model.
    1) We have standard reference users  such as recruiter, manager, decision-maker, data entry clerk, rec.admic etc;  the" RCF_RECRUIT, RCF_MANAGER, RCF_CAND_INT, RCF_DATA_TYP" etc, Should this reference users be created both in EREC & HR system or only in EREC system ?
    2) If the "RCF_XXXX" reference users roles are supposed to be created only in EREC system, how to assign reference user roles to employees whose master data is in HR System. ?
    3) Can support teams concept help for mass authorizations? Can someone elaborate on the support team, support group concepts ?
    Kindly provide inputs.
    Regards,
    ER.

    Thanks Nicole for the inputs.
Just  expanding my query on the 2nd point regarding assigning Reference users like manager, recruiter to certain employees :
Example: Say I have Emp. No 20003000. He is an hiring manager, In HR System,  IT105, subtype user id is "20003000".
To assign RCF_MANAGER reference user role to user id 20003000, should i have to recreate the userid in EREC system as well and assign it in SU01 for this user id.
Would like to take your comments.
    Thanks,
    Regards,
    ER.

  • E-Recruiting - Hiring Manager field data is changing to 00000000 in job requisition

    Hi Nicole,
I am facing an issue with hiring manager search.
Am on a EREC standalone system. EHP5, SP0007.
    HCM_ERC_CI_2 & 3 business functions are activated.
NB data is available in 5131 for US of hiring managers, 5152 support group also has hiring manager data is available.
    1. Firstly, as a recruiter when I click on "Create by Position",  after selecting the vacant position thro org.unit based search, the hiring manager field is not populated with any employee no. If am trying to search using Find Manager or Find employee option, no output is given.
So I manually give the Manager employee number, then hiring manager field is getting filled. After saving the requisition, when I come back and see the requisition in "All Requisition" query or "Open Requisition query" in the Manager column it is blank.
    2. When I try to open the same requisition to edit, the Hiring Manager field is having value "00000000". Even after again manually giving the manager employee number and saving it and releasing it, if again we try to display/edit the requisition, the number vanishes and only zeros appear.
Please share your inputs on the possible cause for this problem.
    Regards,
    ER.

    Hi ER,
    1. That's explained under: http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/x/XYHYDw
    2. could be a side-effect of 1.
    Regards,
    Nicole

  • E-Recruiting Master Data physically deleted in ECC but how to delete in BI

    Hello,
I'm sure this problem has been encountered by others and I'm wondering what to do about it. E-Recruiting is mostly made up of master data. The InfoSets are built on master data. The issue I'm having is that a requisition can be physically deleted in the ECC 6.0 system but it remains in BI 7.0 never knowing that is has been deleted. This poses a problem for reporting. We may be reporting on things that have been deleted in the source system. I am considering totally deleting all of the data prior to the load daily. The business content loads are all full loads. There is a step available for the process chain for deleting DSO and InfoCube data but not master data. What has anyone else done about this?
    Thanks for any insight,
    Diane Merrill

An alternaitve approach to deleting master data:
    - Add a navigational attribute to the requisition master data 'deleted' value Yes(x) / No (blank)
    - Before loading master data from e-recruitment set 'delete' to true (x) for all records
(to do this create an export datasource from requisitions and feed this back to update requistions)
    - Load data from e-recruitment and for every record loaded mark the deleted attribute to false (blank)
After this has been carried out all requisitions still in e-recruitment will have a value blank for the 'deleted' attribute and all requisitions no longer present in e-recruitment are marked with an 'X'.  You can then exclude with a query restriction deleted requisitions.
