E72 email setup doesn't work
hello,
i've been trying to set up an email account on my e72 but i can't seem to get it right
i get to the point where you have to select the email pproviders.i select gmail, enter my account name, then my password, press ok and it sends me back to the email provider selection list.
my only option there is press back or option.but back just takes me back to the begoning without any of the options being save.
any advice would be apreciated

the e71 had email and Nokia Messaging seperated, whereas, in the e72 it was all in the same!
so when you try to setup an email in the e72, it is automatically trying to set it up in "push" (not really) instead of the standard email client.
when you set up your email, and it gets to the TOS (terms of service), tap cancel/no so that you can bypass the NM set-up and go to set your email up like you did on your e71.
besides, there are many issues with NM right now and at one point...july 2010, it was down for the entire month, and now is intermiten at best.
also, with the latest firmware that was released for the e72, it should have been an upgrade, but the email was screwed up.
try what i typed and you should have email that is like it was on the e71.

Every time one of my email addresses doesn't work on my mail app, due to wrong password or whatever, it deletes all of the contacts form my phone. What can I do to stop this from happening?
I have tried deleting the account and it deletes all my contacts. I have verizon and even using back up assistant, it says the contacts are there but they aren't. The only way i can find a contact is if I start to type a name in and new text but once i sent the new text, the name disappears and it just shows the number. Siri nor the address book don't recognize any contacts at all.I cant find any reciept in my email or in my husbands email. It sounds like you are noticing someone else is accessing your Clash of Clans data by playing the game and you have tried to reset your Apple ID password. If you are following the steps outlined in this article:

Email account doesn't work with ios7
I'm an italian user.
I have upgraded to IOS7.
After upgrade some email accounts works fine and other email accounts doesn't work at all (Alice from telecom, Tiscali).
Any suggestion ?The problem is deeper than that. It's not reader. Now the same form I was creating in LifeCycle Designer ES2 yesterday, with the actions working perfectly, no longer work. None of the actions are working.
Could it be realted to me trying to set the default version compatibility to Adobe 7. It gave me warnings, so I set it back to 9.
Any help would be appreciated. -

It would go to a separate rescue email that is different than your Apple ID.
If you do not have a rescue email address (different from alternate email address) set up, you forgot it or no longer have it, then you will need to contact iTunes Support online: http://apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html (select Account Security as your help topic) or by phone: Apple Support Numbers -
After I have upgraded to the new iOS 6.1.2, the email software doesn't work and is not downloading. While before it was working fine.
How to fix this?There seems to be massive amounts of problems with every aspect of iOS 6. From what I understand all you can do is try and reset your device and pray that Apple bequeaths working software next time or allows users to revert to iOS 5 while they search for someone who knows what they are doing. Perhaps you will need to use an alternate email app until then? (Although, Gmail seems to be the only one that works properly)

Thank you.It's a really bad idea to post your email addresess - it's an invitation to spam - and I've asked the Hosts to remove them.
This is a user-to-user forum and no-one on here can take any direct action. If your Yahoo address is not working that's something you would need to take up with Yahoo - have you checked it by sending yourself an email to it?
Otherwise you will need to contact Support: go to https://expresslane.apple.com/ and click on 'iTunes' in the center column and then 'iTunes Store' in the right-hand column and proceed from there. -
ALIAS email account doesn't work quite right
Is there anyway to make this iPhone email app work just like it does on the computer with the Alaises?
I set up my Alias email name as a separate account within the Email settings, so that if I am on the road, I could still make it work like I do with my regular Mail account on the computer or webmail at .Mac -
but it doesn't work.
If click on the Alias account as it shows, it ends up sending the email from my main account name and does not distinguish it like it does on my computer.
This is a problem for me, as I use 4 aliases, just to differentiate my work focuses. The Mail app in the iPhone should do exactly what the computer does, but it sends everything out as my real account name.
Any fixes???
Thank you!I have three separate email accounts set up on my phone. They are all three POP3 accounts. My main account, my work account, and my student account. My work and student account outgoing servers do not allow for relaying, so I have to use something else to send them from. I use my main ISP outgoing server for that because it has authentication. In the setup for my work and student accounts on the phone, the information entered has my work email address on the one, and my student address on the other. When I send mail from either of those accounts, it shows as being from those accounts. Even replies to mail I receive there shows as being from those accounts. I can't speak about IMAP accounts, not the .Mac. I did set the accounts up directly on the phone, not by syncing them from my computer.

Office Jet Pro 8600 Plus Scan to Email Setup, website not working.
When setting up scan to email.
The first question is: Is the HP software provided with the printer installed on the network-connected computer?
The answer should be yes, but we can't follow the steps of opening up the software on the computer and acessing scanner options like the printer tells us to.
Anyway, in the past I have set up a two users by selecting "No" to this question then it provies me with a website to enter in:

This is the current address it is giving me. This has worked for me in the past and have had no issues setting it up this way. But now (after my employer changed my email address) my scan to email is no longer working and I am trying to set it up again with my new email.
Every time I type in the given address: http//192.168.5.158 I receive an error message.
[Fiddler] The socket connection to 192.168.5.158 failed.
ErrorCode: 10060.
A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 192.168.5.158:80
I had found a forum that had supposedly been a solution where they said to remove web services on the printer and re-set it up, this did not work at all. Still can't set up a scan to email. Regarding the issue connecting to the Officejet Pro 8600 Plus's Embedded Web Server to change the Email used for Scan to Email, I would like to see if I can help.
If you touch the Wireless icon on the printer, is the I.P address the same as you noted in your post? If not, use that I.P in an attempt to access the needed page.
If you are still unable to load the page, try using a different web browser on the computer. For example, if using IE, try Firefox.
If you are still unable, it would appear to me that the network is blocking this page from you. You can get around this by connecting temporarily to the printers Wireless Direct network. To connect to this;
Touch Setup
Network
Wireless Direct
On with no security (I suggest)
Connect the computer to the printer's network, ie HP-Print-**-Officejet 8600 series.
Open a web browser (don't worry if you get a message about no Internet), enter this I.P: 192.168.223.1 and hit Enter.
You should now be able to access the Embedded Web Server of the printer, make your changes and apply them.

Link in email received doesn't work
Fro 2 days now, and I don't know why. When I receive email with web link, th link doesn't work. I need copy the link to safari and push return key.
PatrickIs Safari your default browser? If not, open its preferences and make it the default.
Do you have any Safari Extensions installed? If so, disable them temporarily in the preferences.
Do you use anything like "Application Enhancer," SIMBL, or similar garbage that's supposed to modify the way applications work? If so, get rid of it permanently.
Then log out and log back in, and try again. -
Sending an email invitation doesn't work

He's not good on computers, so this would be an easier option to get him signed up.

When adding a new contact I click on 'contacts' then 'add contact' then 'search skype directory'. I fill in new contact email and if no results skype gives me he option to send an email invitation. However when I click on this link it opens Internet Explorer browser to page http://www.skype.com/en/?SkypeName=&FriendEmailAddr_1=&FriendEmailAddr_2=&FriendEmailAddr_3=&FriendE...
This is seems the same as the home page http://www.skype.com/en/
I can not see any link whereby one can send an email invitation.
I read somewhere that this was a bug in the new version of skype. -
'email video' doesn't work on iPad 2; please help
I am unable to email video recorded on my iPad 2. I used to be able to, but in the last couple of days it has not been working. The 'email video' selection does show up and after I tap it, nothing happens. That is, the popup window to allow me to type the email address doesn't show up. I have to email an important video tonight. Any help is extremely appreciated. Is there any other option such as transferring the video to my laptop and then send it from there? If so, how should I accomplish it? Please help. Thanks.
Hello - I have the same problem and have tried a variety of configurations.
When headphones are plugged in: All apps and sound effects work with head phones
but not when headphones are unplugged. When the headphones are plugged in I can
controll volume using the volume up down button on the side of the pad. I can also
double tap home screen and adjust volume with the slider. The system mute button
is turned off in the home screen so there should be sound. In general setting I've set
the switch button to control screen rotation. But there is no change in behavior if I change
that button to control sound. My rotate switch is set to screen.
When headphones are unplugged: If I unplug the headphone, there is no sound from anything.
If I double press the home to get to the task bar I can swipe to the far left and see the mute button
is turned off. I can control the screen brightness, but the slider for the sound is missing. The sound
slider slot is there but the button to slide volume left or right is missing. It's like someone pulled that
knob off the slider switch. If I press the volume up / down button on the side of the iPad the 'sound
effects' pop up box show up but there is no increasing / decreasing sound. The ringer and alerts button
in general settings / sound is on. And if I slide the ringer alerts volume slider left / right it does make
increase / decrease sound.
I've rebooted several times. I've open task manager and manually closed all apps. Don't know what to do...
Sound just doesn't work and sound effects don't work either.... I've tried all the different suggestions on
blogs and this forum but I can't seem to get it to work.. Please help, or maybe I should just bring it in...

Email Button Doesn't Work in SWF File
In InDesign CS5.5, I have created a hyperlink that goes to email, and then a button that references the email hyperlink to start the process. This button works fine in preview mode, but doesn't work in the exported swf file.

HeathIt may be a Flash Security issue... upload SWF to server, open it to browser from there and try your links again...

Es funktioniert nur bei denen, die Adobe Prof. installiert haben.
(It works only by thos users which have Adobe Prof. on their pc.)
Manche haben aber nur den Adobe Reader oder den Adobe Prof und den Adobe Reader. Hier funtioniert das Formular nicht. Sie können das Formular ausfüllen, zurücksetzen aber nicht versenden.
(Some users have only Adobe Reader and some users have Adobe Prof. and Adobe Reader. Here the formular doesn't work. They can only fill and reset the formular but they can't send this formular.)
Wenn ich bei diesen Benutzern das Formular mit dem Adobe Prof. erzwinge, funktioniert es auch hier, aber nicht mit dem Adobe Reader. Leider öffnet es sich standardmäßig mit dem Reader.

If you are trying to send you form as pdf, your form has to be Reader extend with save permission. Acrobat reader has this ability while Reader - not, that is why your form works fine under Acrobat and not working under Reader.
To reader extend form you can use Reader Extensions ES .
