Ebay listing error

When I try to select a category to sell an item on eBay I get the following error message. "Please provide the correct information in the highlighted fields. Please select at least one category to list your item in." I can search and select the category, but attempts to proceed beyond this point have be unsuccessful. I cannot browse the categories, as they are grayed out and cannot be selected. The "Start over" selection also is inoperative.
I have searched eBay's Answer Center without a successful resolution to my problem. There are numerous several posts, but none of the recommendations has worked. I have cleared the cache, cleared the cookies, restarted the browsers, and restarted the computer.
This a new issue. I have previously completed the task I am attempting to do multiple times without any issues. I cannot think of any changes that have be made prior to developing this problem.
This problem is not unique to Safari. I have the same results with FireFox. I hate to admit this but everything proceeds without problems using Parallels Desktop and Windows Internet Explorer. This is appears to be a Mac related issue, and I thought this might be the most likely site to post this question. I am hopeful that a Mac-savy person can clear my dilemma.
Thanks in advance.

HI,
From the Safari Menu Bar click Safari/Preferences then select the Autofill tab. Click the Edit button next to: Other forms. Click Remove All and relaunch Safari.
If that didn't help, from the Safari Menu Bar click Safari/Reset Safari. Select the top 5 buttons, then click Reset. Relaunch Safari.
If that didn't help, go to the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari/Preferences. Make note of all the preferences under each tab. Quit Safari. Now go to ~/Library/Preferences and move this file com.apple.safari.plist to the Desktop.
Relaunch Safari and see if that makes a difference. If not, move the .plist file back to the Preferences folder. If Safari functions as it should, move that .plist file to the Trash.

    Hi,
    I have a MBP 13' Late 2011 and Yosemite 10.10.2 (14C1514).
Until yesterday, I was using Garmin ConnectIQ SDK and all was working fine.
Yesterday, I've updated my system with latest security updates and Xcode updates too (Version 6.2 (6C131e)).
Since, I can't launch the ConnectIQ simulator app, I have this message in console :

I guess it is a normal format but my system seems to be unable to read binary plist ?
I tried some stuff with plutil
    plutil -lint Info.plist
    Info.plist: Unexpected character b at line 1
    Same for convert
    plutil -convert xml1 Info.plist
Info.plist: Property List error: Unexpected character b at line 1 / JSON error: JSON text did not start with array or object and option to allow fragments not set.
I also try to download a fresh version of the connectIQ SDK and no changes.
    Any idea ?
    Thanks

Step by step, how did you arrive at seeing this agreement?

=========================================================================Do we have to make any changes on other config files except the imta.cnf and mappings file for inbound and outbound..
    thanks for any help
    Edited by: prasad0_0 on Jul 8, 2008 4:58 AM

i have already setup the messaging server 6 months back.. followed the same procedure to route mails to a gateway..
made changes to the imta.cnf for outbound mail flow to the tcp_local and mappings file to accept inbound mail flow from the gateway. Its working perfectly on the older setup, but this now, have issues with new setup.
    here is the imta.cnf file..

  • How do I get pictures from my photos to a eBay listing

How do I get my pictures from my photos on my iPad 3 to an eBay listing ?

That depends on where your pictures are stored.  Assuming they are digitally stored on your computer, you would go onto eBay and when it  asked if you have a photo to upload ...You would select Browse and then find the picture in your picture files on your computer and then select Open.  If you are using a smartphone and it's browser to sell something on eBay you would have had to have the photo on that smartphone and do the same as my first comment.  If your photo is on your digital camera and it is a camera with Bluetooth, you may be able to "pair" your camera with your computer via Bluetooth and transfer the picture file to your computer that way.

  • Scrolling Ebay listing pages has become jerky instead of smooth. With safari it's smooth.

I see in the comments of others they are having the same problem: When you scroll an Ebay listing page there is a continuing jerky stop and start. It used to be smooth. I know it's Firefox because the problem doesn't exist when I use Safari as my browser.

If there is a problem with scrolling on web pages then try to disable smooth scrolling.
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > General: Browsing: "Use smooth scrolling"

  • Spotlight gives no results, privacy tab gives me a list error, What The F?

Just did the most recent Apple updates, (excluding 10.5.2 because I'm using Pro Tools HD which doesn't support it yet) and spotlight just plan stopped working. Finder Search produces no results. Privacy tab doesn't work or allow me to drag drives in without producing a unknown 'list error'.
I used Cocktail and Mainmenu to delete all my cache files and manually reindex spotlight, repaired permissions, relaunched finder, trashed the spotlight V100 hidden plist and still NO help, nada.
Then I noticed Time Machine was ON. I don't believe I turned it ON, is it set to ON by default? I turned it off and Spotlight now works fine after reindexing my 6 drives.
What the frick is up with spotlight on Leopard? I saw so many people having problems I thought I should add to the group and let it be known many many people are hurting with search functions on Leopard.
So do I need to choose between Time Machine and Spotlight? They dont like eachother!

Help. I have tried deleting the hidden Spotlight folder per above suggestions, and now it acts as though Spotlight won't even function.
I have tried to fix THAT problem with the following (http://osxdaily.com/2007/03/22/how-to-completely-disable-spotlight/) and cannot get any of these to work. To be fair, I can't try the Terminal suggestion, as Terminal refuses to allow me to enter my admin password. Weird.
Anyway, two brand new machines, one a fresh-out-of-the-box install and Spotlight broken on both. Besides a reinstall, any ideas how to reinstate my (hidden) Spotlight folders and fix the 'Privacy List Error' I get every time I try to drag a volume to the Spotlight>Privacy tab.
Frustrating having a new machine that won't allow a basic Finder search.

  • White list error message

    Hi Experts!
We have an issue when displaying originals(in DIRs) in PLM WUI, Portal.
The issue can be summarized like this:
JPG-Images or PDF files are stored on a shared folder. (Not in SAP System)
We then create an original in a DIR(document info record). We do NOT check in the original but only use file as a link.
(In our solution we will not check in the originals but the versioning will be controlled in the linked folder).
    Example:
We create an original with the following link
    sharedfolder\images\image01.jpg
Anyone can afterwards log on the system and click display original and the jpf or pdf is shown.
This procedure works perfectly fine when we are in SAPGUI.
But in the Portal the system acts different from case to case.
    Case 1
When a colleague of mine has added an original in SAPGUI and I
then press display in Portal I get a security list error message, Wrong downloading server
(We have defined the white list, TCode wdr_acf_wlist, and downloaded it.
In this case we have tried
sharedfolder\images\ as downloading server for example)
    Case 2
When I have added an original in SAPGUI and then press display in the Portal the image is shown
->Why do I NOT get the error message in this case?
Any ideas why the system works this way and how I can solve it?
    Thanks in advance!
    Mikael

    Hi Mikael,
I was led to this thread via search on SDN for "white list". We need to set up an external facing portal and need to set up reverse proxy plus white list. We have an OSS message running with prio very high but don't seem to get a helpful answer. Can you give info on how to configure the revese proxy (we aim at citrix gateway as reverse proxy) with white list? or can you describe your architecture with focus on white list? very kind regards, Matthias Kasig

  • Balance Sheet List Errors

    HI experts!
    I have an interesting problem.
I execute F.01 and in tab "Especial Evaluations" select  "Alternative Account Number" and before the balance is displayed I get a Error List always with the same error:
I now about this error and I wonder if there was any way of ignore it.
I have been looking for it in forums and most answers indicate that the message should be customized the message in OBA5 but i have tried changing it but it doesn´t work , always error message....
Can you plesase help me, I need not consider that error or the whole list.
    Best Regards

    Hi Nabehet and Sanjeev,
The situation is that we want to see the balance sheet for a Serbian company that use the same chart of accounts than the rest of the companys in the group. I mean?
For Serbian company, they see their balance sheet by alternative account number (that has the serbian account)
Ok, the problem is that for some requirements we have created accounts for Serbian company that   don´t have alternative account because these accounts are transparent for them.
These accounts are the accounts showing the error and I would like users don´t see it.
    The list error is it:
Then, when I go back the balance appears perfectly.
I don,t Know If I have explained clearly.
    Appreciete any help.
    Regards!

  • Spotlight: "Privacy List Error: ... couldn't be added ... unknown error"

G'day all. I'm having a spotlight problem and I'd be very grateful for any help.
    In short:
Spotlight refuses to index one of my partitions, and both the Privacy "trick" in System Preferences to force a re-index, plus using mdutil in the terminal, both produce unknown errors.
If anyone has any ideas, please help!
    More information if you're interested:
I have my hard drive partitioned into two, one for the OS the other for my home folder. I've used the advanced settings in the System Preferences > Accounts to tell my user account to find my home folder on the second partition.
Spotlight refuses to work with the home folder volume.
When I try to go into System Preferences > Spotlight > Privacy and add the offending volume to that, I get a message saying "Privacy List Error: The item couldn't be added or removed because of an unknown error."
If in Terminal I try the following:
    mdutil -sv /Volumes/David/
    I get back:
    /volumes/David:
    Indexing disabled.
    I try:
    mdutil -v -i on /Volumes/David/
    I get back:
    /volumes/David:
Error: unable to perform operation. (-1)
    Indexing disabled.
I've tried the above statements both logged in as root as well as logged in as me.
I've also tried Spotless and get an equally unhelpful "unknown error".
Usually when updating my system I just do an upgrade install, and admittedly this has left a lot of legacy stuff lying around over the years, and various problems have been building recently, including this one, so a few weeks ago I bit the bullet and gave my system a full clean out:
I swapped my existing hard drive for a new one, formatted the new one, set up the partitions afresh, did a clean install (from the 10.5.4 discs that came with my MacBook Pro), then software updated everything (up to 10.5.6), and then clean reinstalled most of my applications, and manually dragged all my personal stuff back in from the original hard drive (which now is sitting in an external case as a backup in case I realise I've forgotten to transfer something, down the track).
All my other problems have gone away and my system is snappier than it's been in a long time, which is great (and not unexpected!), but this spotlight problem persists. I'm usually pretty clued up with Mac stuff and am generally comfortable in the Terminal but this one's got me stumped. If anyone can help me figure out what is causing this error, I'd be most grateful.
    Thanks!

Thanks V.K. for the suggestions. I've just tried all that, but unfortunately it has not changed the situation.
System Preferences > Spotlight > Privacy, and mdutil both still give the same results as before.
A bunch more info in case it's relevant/helpful:
    1. The volume in question IS my home folder. ie. the path to my home folder as defined in the Advanced Settings part of System Preferences > Accounts is "/Volumes/David/" (and yes the volume name is "David" with a capital "D"). I mention all that so I can ask is there any problem with having my home folder = a volume? I can't see any reason why this shouldn't work, and for what it's worth this spotlight problem is only recent whereas I've been using this set up ever since I got Leopard on the day it originally came out (and spotlight had been working fine for months until recently).
    2. I wonder if there's something else on that volume that's causing problems, or some permissions issue? If it might be any use in diagnosing this issue, here's some ls's:

    3. here's an interesting entry from the console at the point where I tried to add the volume to System Preference > Spotlight > Privacy:
mds[32] nosymlink_mkdir() unable to realpath or parent paths do not match p:/Volumes/David/.Spotlight-V100: r:/volumes/David:
    4. I notice that when I do that (add the volume) it gives the error message I originally explained ("couldn't be added or removed because of an unknown error"), and adds the above line to the console, but otherwise it appears that nothing has changed (ie. it doesn't show in the list).
If I then quit system preferences, reopen it, and go back into that Privacy tab the volume IS there in the list. If I then try to remove it, I get the same error message and console message, and again nothing appears to happen, but then if I quit system preferences again and then go back into it, the volume is no longer in the list.
There is definitely something weird going on here.
    Any other thoughts?
    Thanks again!
    David.

  • Listing errors prior to running a sequence

Is there a way to display\list errors in TestStand prior to running a sequence.
For example, a section of code changes. It now has more parameters being sent to a function inside a dll.
Up until now the only way to find it to run the code, wait for it to error out, then trace where the offending parameter is.
    any suggestions?
    thanks
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

In TestStand 4.5 and later you can analyze your sequence file and catch this.  Unfortunately before that there is no way to do so.

  • Spotlight problem: privacy list error won't go away

My Spotlight suddenly stopped being able to find anything. So I tried dragging the main disk's icon onto (and then off of) the Privacy tab of Spotlight, to ask it to re-index. But it gave me the Privacy Index error. So I went to Terminal and did sudo rm -rf /.Spotlight-V100, which succeeded, but: the privacy list error is still there, and oddly - the one thing that used to be in my privacy tab is still there! I thought that info was somewhere in the /.Spotlight-V100/... folder - how is it still there?!? What's a better way to wipe that info and ask Spolight to re-do everything?

    I'm ruddy well frustrated
And we understand that. Most of us have been in similar situations. But troubleshooting a problem is hard enough in real life. When all we have to go on is words typed here, it's of the utmost importance to be painstakingly precise. In your case, it is very often the solution to reboot the iPod while it's plugged into the wall, and you had never stated clearly that you had done that. Go back and read your previous posts if you doubt it. If we are able to help each other, we have to know exactly what has happened, and even then it's not easy. And again, we are all just fellow users who come here voluntarily to help each other, so all getting mad at us does is make people not want to help you.
There are several things that might be going wrong, but one that I would test is your cable. Perhaps some of the wires inside have broken and that's why it's not realizing it is plugged into the wall outlet. Do you have a friend that you can borrow a cable from to test that out? (And to answer your question about the dock, it won't make any difference.)

  • Getting 'variable not in select list' error after extending VO

    Hi,
My page is based on two VO. one VO has all transient attribute(LearnerSearchCritVO) and used to capture Search Criteria, The other VO is used for query(LearnerSearchVO).
I have exteneded LearnerSearchCritVO to add 4 new additional Transient attributes
and LearnerSerachVO and its IMPL class to add additional where clause.
After substitution and personalization when I am querying through page I am getting the following error -
    ## Detail 0 ##
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01007: variable not in select list
The query is working fine at backend and the same thing was working fine before instance is refreshed.
I am not able to find why this error is coming.
please help me out to sort this issue.

    Hi All
Sorry to bring this one up again, but I've had a bit of a look around and done as much as I can based on the information given in this and other threads on the subject.
I'm getting the java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01007: variable not in select list error from my extended VO/substitution.
The query is based on a view for easy editing after deployment, so could that have anything to do with it?
Here's the query from the error message:

  • IBook G4 having "Corrupt Skip List" error

Hello everybody, i'm having some problems with my little 12" iBook G4 800Mhz (128+128mb Ram memory).
I've recently installed a 512mb Crucial PC2700 Ram module, in the original 128mb Apple memory slot.
Since then, i'm getting kernel panics, the "Corrupt Skip List" error:
    "cpu-0 code= 00000007 corrupt skip list
backtrace terminated - frame not mapped or invalid
    proceeding back via exception chain
    waiting for remote debugger connection."
I tried to replace the Crucial memory with the original one, and it works fine.
I've already repaired permissions, run Disk Utility and reset PRAM/NVRAM, as read in some old forum posts.
No problems revealed, and nothing worked so far.
    Have you got any advice?
    Thank you in advance

When did this happen? I guess I should hang around the Lounge more often. Just can't justify taking the time when I can't even make my rounds in the forums to which I subscribe on a regular basis. In any case, you have done well; I rejoice greatly.

  • Crashing whenever trying to list errors

After doing some tidying of a complex section of application code Labview now refuses to list errors and i cannot find any.  Labview then promptly exits.  Has anyone else come accross this with Labview 8.6.1 ?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Do you see the run arrow?  or is it a broken arrow?
If it is a run arrow, you will not see a list of errors.
However, if you click run and it exits, then there is something strange.
Do you use a Quit LabVIEW vi anywhere in your code?
