Eclipse open project wizard - OUAF SDK 4.1 install

After installing it for the 4th time, I give up. Please help me. (I start over with a saved image in case you wonder.)
I follow the install guide word for word:

When I finally get Eclipse to come up to open the project Wizard, I get this error message:
"The chosen operation is not currently available."

Can someone please tell me what I am missing here?
I downloaded the correct version of Hibernate, renamed it, put in in the right folder, got all the other files from one location to the other. Does it have to be that complicated?
Sorry I am so frustrated but for the last week I did not get very far.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Today I tried 2 more times with the exact same result. I believe there is something missing on the install guide as some of the screen prints are clearly not matching.
If someone has been able to successfully install this, I like to know how please.

9.) Start Ecplipse and configure project.
     NEVER WORKS...

I did not remove the JDK, I just added another version.
I am using the Eclipse version that is mentioned in the install guide that I should use.

If you suggest to try your version I will. May I ask what other steps you might have taken that I not in the install guide?

I was finally able to install the SDK with all your help but now I am looking at another problem.
In the installation document, after adding Eclipse it says:
Start Eclipse by opening the Oracle Utilities Software Development Kit Client Scripts directory
(Start ? All Programs ? Oracle Utilities Software Development Kit 4.0.0.x ? Oracle Utilities
Software Development Kit Client Scripts) and then double-clicking startEclipse.bat; x is the
build number.
This launches Eclipse with the Welcome tab shown.
When I run the .bat file I get the following error:
ERROR: NetExpress 5.0 path Not found ... at C:\OUAFSDK\SDK\4.0.0.5\Scripts\bin\getBinDirectory.pl line 52.
Nowhere in the install doc does it mention anything about NetExpress.
Any ideas?

Actually I was happy to soon.
After installing Net Express, I don't get that message anymore but nothing at all is happening. Eclipse should be starting according the the install guide. I am starting to wonder how accurate that guide is since quiet a few things are missing already. This is really frustrating.

Hi,
there is no import wizard from Eclipse project (maybe we could think about it). I would recomment you:
1. create a new MIDP Application project (without Hello MIDlet)
2. copy your midlet (including package structure) into "src" folder of your new project
3. open project properties, go to Application Descriptor category and register your midlet on MIDlets tab

PDF Portfolio SDK setup - Navigator project wizard in Flex Builder 4.6 does not show

The plugins have been extracted to:

Crystal Reports for Eclipse throwing error - wizard could not be open

Today i downloaded Crystal Reports for Eclipse version 3.4.1. i copied the same to the program files folder & while i double click on eclipse.exe. I am able to get in to the eclipse, but while i am trying to create a blank report by right click project -> New -> Other ->Crystal Report -> Blank Report i am getting error " Problem Opening the wizard" & additional details on error as " the selectd wizard could not be started Plug-incom.businessobjects.designer.blankreportwizard was undable to load class com.businessobjects.crystalreports.designer.blankreportwizard.blankreportwizard.com/businessobjects/crystalreprots/designer/blankreportwizard/blankreportwizard(unsupported major.minor version 49.0)"

Hi,
Please make sure you have Tomcat 5.5 installed on your machine.
Also JAVA_HOME and Tomcat's CATALINA path are set accordingly in Environment Variables.
After setting these restart machine and Eclipse.

XCode freezes when opening project after installing iPhone SDK 3.2 beta

I have problem opening up existing XCode projects, and creating new XCode projects.
If I open an existing XCode project, no window appears and XCode becomes non-responsive.
If I create a new XCode project, it shows me the window to create new project, but after entering the project name, XCode becomes non-responsive.
I've played around with the settings and found out that if I go to
Preferences>Code Sense and untick the Indexing>'Enable for all projects'
The problem is solved. But with that turn, I no longer have auto-completion.
I have tried a few methods to solve this but none was working
1) I thought the problem was due to documentation. In Preferences>Documentation, I see "Mac OS X 10.6 Core Library" and "iPhone OS 3.2 Library" showing "Getting..." all the time. I compared the file sizes of the docsets to my laptop (no problem with XCode) and there's a big difference in file size. So I copied these files from my laptop to the Mac with problem. This does not solve the problem.
2) Clear cache .
3) Disable indexing. Quit XCode. Start XCode and enable indexing. Then quit XCode and start project.
4) Uninstall XCode completely with sudo /Developer/Library/uninstall-devtools --mode=all , and then reinstall iphonesdk_3.0__snow_leopard_final. I verifed that I was able to open projects normally. Then I installed iphonesdk_3.1_with_xcode_3.2_final__snow_leopard_10a432, followed by
iphonesdk_3.2_beta_with_xcode3.2.2. Problem comes back
5) I tried to clear the files below but it does not help

~/Library/Caches/xcodebuild

I'd recommend doing a custom install during the iPhone OS 3.2 beta installation instead, and putting it into a separate location from the release tools...

Crystal Report 4 Eclipse Web Project

CR4E is a Component SDK solution.
RAS is a server-client solution.
You cannot use the CR4E SDK in lieu of the RAS SDK to communicate with the RAS server.
You must use the RAS SDK jars that come with the RAS server.
The APIs are very similar - however, the backends are different.

How do I import Eclipse Help project/pages?

I have an Eclipse Help project with about 100 html topic pages that I created in Eclipse and organized in various folders. However, the editor in Eclipse that I am using is not very advanced and it's quite tedious to manage the help project and cannot easily create other help formats. I want to try RoboHelp 8 as the authoring environment and have it output Eclipse Help (which I hear it can do).
However, I can't find a way to easily import my existing Eclipse Help pages and folder structure. Is there a way to do this without breaking anything (like images or css) or having to go to each page and do some fixing up?
Ideally, I would like some kind of two-way transfer so I can share the project with others on my team using Eclipse to edit the topics; but I realize that may be too much to ask for.

I went ahead and re-created the folder structure and imported the topic pages into each folder. This part seems to work fine. However, I have a few issues:
1) When I double-click on the topic pages they open in Notepad rather than the built-in editor. If I right-click on a topic and choose Edit With Design View, that works, but is quite tedious to do for every page. I also notice that if I make a change to the page in design view and save it, from then on it opens in Design View.
I see that the files that open in Design View have the following markup added:
<meta name="generator" content="Adobe RoboHelp 8" />
Is there a way to have these .html pages always open in Design View by default, at least for this project?
2) I used the instructions here to create Eclipse Help: http://blogs.adobe.com/techcomm/2009/12/how_to_generate_eclipse_help_from_robohelp.html

Any idea why I am getting this error? I am using the EclipseHelp.jsx that came with RoboHelp 8.0.0.203 (incidentally, the "latest" script file pointed to in the link above actually has an older copyright date so it would not seem that it's the latest). Would solving #1 solve this issue?
3) I set a default topic for my books, which works fine in Web Help. But when I try to view the book in Eclipse, it displays a Contents list instead of the default topic.
Any idea how to fix this?

The message "Unsupported major.minor version 49.0" implies that you are running with JDK version < 1.5. Please check in your workspace\.metadata\.log file - there should be some entries like:

java.vendor=SAP AG
BTW, have you started the NWDS from the Start Menu -> Programs -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio? If you are using C:\SAP\DevStudio\eclipse\SapNetweaverDeveloperStudio.exe directly it could be that it finds some older JRE installed on your machine.

FPGA Project Wizard keeps crashing

Hey all,
I'm running LV 2011, FPGA 2011, RT 2011. I click on FPGA Project and create a new one; select R series on PXI; and then click on create new system. It crashes everytime at this point and an error dialog pops up (I've attached it below).
I also installed NI VeriStand FPGA Interface Tools 2010 1.1.2 because I am going to be using the FPGA with VeriStand and I thought I would see if trying to create an NI VeriStand FPGA Project would work instead. It crashes in the same spot as the regular FPGA Project wizard.
I have used the installer to repair the FPGA Module and LV 2011; it didn't change anything. Then I uninstalled LabVIEW and reinstalled it; still nothing.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I did see an earlier post dealing with this but the solution was not posted on the thread.

What version of NI-RIO are you using? You may benefit from repairing the driver installation, or downloading and installing a later version. The reason I say this is because when we're talking about adding devices to the project, on some level this will be performing some interaction with the NI-RIO driver since this is where all of the references to targets will live.
I'd recommend also trying to add the target to a LabVIEW Project manually rather than using the FPGA Project Wizard.
Open an Empty Project in LabVIEW.
Right click on My Computer and select New » Targets and Devices.
Select New Target or Device and select your PXI from there.
You can then right click on the PXI within the project and go through the same process to add an R Series Target.
I've attached the finished project to this post if that fails.

I have Robohelp 2002r2 and am creating Robohelp HTML help.
The project was ok yesterday but today when I try to open it I get
the error message "Open project was canceled or RoboHelp was unable
to load database". I tried the solutions in the knowledgebase
(rb_3245) but still no luck. I can't even create a new project
either or I get the same message. Anybody know what to
do????

Welcome to the forum.
The message is usually easily dealt with. I haven't checked
the article as you didn't include a link but I'm guessing it
involved deleting a couple of files and then using the HHP file to
open the project.
What is more worrying is that you cannot create a new
project.
Have you tried opening one of the supplied sample files?
Are your projects stored locally and not on a network?
Have IT given you a new profile to log on with?
Has anything else changed in your environment?

Unable to Open Project from a Networked computer

Hi All
We have just recently installed Robohelp V6 on a computer in
the office and after making sure that RoboSource is connected and
visible, I have come to my desktop machine and made sure that
1. I could connect to the Robohelp "Server"
2. that I could map to the drive that the project file
resided
3. that I could ping the "server" computer
All appears to be fine, except that when I try to open the
Project file from the "MAPPED" drive, I get the following error
msg:
"OPEN PROJECT WAS CANCELLED OR THE APPLICATION WAS UNABLE TO
LOAD THE DATABASE FOR: T:\Content\Grail2Aug07Help.cpd"
It is the Project file
grail2aug07help.xpj that I am trying to open.
The project WAS currently opened and in use my another person
on the "server" computer, so I wonder if this is the reason for the
message.??? If I cannot get the project opened. how do I then make
sure that files that I want to alter are "Checked In/Out" by me and
are also seen, by other users as being CHECKED OUT...??

Your project should live on a local drive (e.g., the My
Documents folder on your PC). Version control can live on a mapped
(i.e., network) drive.

Unable to open project

I am having two different problems to Adobe Robohelp HTML X5
(1) When opening a project (previously created in the
Robohelp HTML X5) from my networked drive i can see all the folders
and topics i have created in the Project tab. If i select to view
them they are displayed correctly. If however i want to edit them,
that is a different matter altogether. Double clicking a topic or
selecting 'Edit' does absolutely nothing - the text is not
displayed in the right hand side of the window like i am used to
and i am unable to find a way to edit the information at all.
(2) Thinking that this may be a network problem i have copied
the entire directory for my C drive - now when opening the same
file from the C drive i get the following error: 'Open project was
cancelled or application was unable to load database for
"C:\MyCvs\src\helptext\ISM.cpd' - the file ISM.cpd is in the
required directory.
Please help, i am unable to get started with anything !!

One problem I think. RH is not designed to be run across a
network so it has probably corrupted a file that is now giving you
the problem on the local drive.
See the topic on my site about Opening Projects. I think you
need to delete the CPD file at least and perhaps the XPJ file.

Can't open project

I downloaded RH6 on my machine and then tried to open my
WebHelp file by opening the .hhp file, since I'm unable to locate
the .xpj file. I get an error stating the open project was
cancelled or the app was unable to load database for [the path
name] with the file name Quik Fixes.cpd. I'm wondering why it's
pointing to the .cpd file. I've tried restarting, tried deleting
the cpd file, thinking that it would re-generate itself upon
startup, but I've received the same error. Also, I've always opened
the project with the .HHP file, and never had a problem before. Why
can't I ever see the .xpj file? Does anyone know a fix to this? I'm
under a tight deadline here, and this is the last thing I need
happening!

What/where/how to find depends of the version od Windows.
Look for "Security Center" if in WinXP. I don't remember where to
look in Vista as I hated it and blew it away, never to use a byte
of my hard drive again. I no longer have Windows 2000 installed so
I can't help with that.
