Edit line color in chart

I just need to edit the line "stroke" color in a line chart... to a different color...
I can't seem to find the option.
Thanks,
Akkdio

Open up your Inspector window (View > Show Inspector) and select on the Table tab in the inspector.
Select the line in the table that you want to change, and in the Inspector there is a section called Cell Borders…and this is where you can change the stroke type and color.
Hope that helps.

    How do I change the line color in a chart in Numbers on my iPad?

    Whenever I try to shift+direct select it thinks I want to move the line, so as I shift + direct select and drag my mouse across the line (to highlight it all) it moves a chunk of the line and turns it into a near perpendicular line.
    I found the appearance window, it just says "Path" (the color I want it to be that it's not)
    "Stroke" 4pt
    "Fill" (the color I want it to be that it's not)
    "Opacity": Default
    And some other buttons. I think I'll try the help line tomorrow, I know I saw a customer service number somewhere and I'm only here because the chat was unavailable. This is only one of my 3 problems with my assignment so I'll search here for answers to the other two. Learning new things is rarely fun.

  • Change default colors of charts

    Hello everyone,
    is it possible to change the default background color and fonts color of charts? I know about changing the line colors (which I have already done according to our corporate design), but I did not find anything about setting background colors by default. We have two different themes (a dark and a bright one) and I don't want to copy the charts just to apply different colors to it.
    Thank you in advance
    Chris

    Hi Chris,
    I understand that BI 11g, gives some standard colors to the chart (The first preference might be blue ;) If I remember correctly). However, say you would like to change the color of the chart to green, I think we cannot directly override its color. Instead we can take a approach of chart options based on position at http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/bi.1111/e10544/creatingviews.htm#CHDDEFEF
    As per the above link, we can give custom color to the bars based on the order they come up. Like in a group, 1st one blue, 2nd one green, 3rd yellow etc.
    So if you have only one bar per graph, use this setting to specify the graph color using position =1
    Hope this helps.
    Thank you,
    Dhar

  • Legend and bars colors on charts not consistent.

    Using Crystal XI, I have a report that selects a top 10 categories in the report.  For each of the 10 categories, I have 4 stacked bar charts showing "dispatched" and "not dispatched".  I also have 1 subreport that charts two trend lines(one for "dispatched" and one for "not dispatched").
    The problem is the color of bars/lines are not holding the same colors for "dispatched" and "not dispatched" from chart to chart.  I verified each chart is sorted in the same manner, but that doesn't seem to matter.
    I need "dispatched" to be the same color bar/line on all charts for each category and the same for "not dispatched".
    Does anyone have any idea as to why this might be happening or how I may be able to prevent this?
    I have tried to changing each chart manually, but if the category changes at the next run, the colors are randomly selected again.

    I can try... First, be sure you are in design mode, not preview.  Right click the chart and select chart expert.
    The fifth tab over should be "Color Highlight" click on new,   in the item editor section ( to the right ) you should
    be able to select a item from your database, as well as a condition...   ie   customer region is equal to auckland
    You can select a color below this section.  Since you are changing this in the design mode, it should apply to
    the chart every time it appears in the report.
    Not the best solution, but it should work for your situation.

  • Any Way to Change Thickness of Connector Lines for all lines of a Chart?

    Post Author: ScottL
    CA Forum: Charts and Graphs
    Hi All,
    I am trying to change the thickness of a Chart's Connector Lines for all lines of a chart and cannot find a way to accomplish this. I can go into Report Preview and individually change the thickness one at a time, but what if I do not know how many lines I will have (as in a Line Chart) ? I can't find a way to do this through Crystal Reports XI.
    Many thanks in advance!
    Scott

    I think it's even easier to just match frame the "source file"... put your playhead on the clip you want to speed change in your sequence. Then type optioncmdf. Perform the speed change in the Viewer, then simply cut it in... Might help to put it up above the older, use the double arrow selection tool facing right to move the clips past this change later... pull the upper track speed changed clip down over the old, and viola.
    Gotta say though, it's a lot easier to perform the speed change in the Viewer, and edit it all in as you go rather than doing it after you've put the clip in a sequence. (not always possible to determine what the speed change should be maybe, but sure easier.... FCP 7 handles this problem a lot better for sure, and worth the upgrade price if your machine is compatible.

  • Dynamic trend line on flash chart

    Hi,
    How could we reference an apex item on the custom XLM chart? I intend to add a dynamic trend line using
    <objects>
    <line value="&PXX_." text="trend line" color="0xFF0000" thickness="1" alpha="100"/>
    </objects>
    but it doesn't work. Could somebody guide me to the right direction.
    And to add, anybody have integrated or call an statistical process control (SPC) chart in apex?
    Thanks in advance.

    You can create a process, create the entire XML string in the process, and set the resulting XML string in the Custom XML area. We did something similar and seems to be working fine.

  • Define own colors for charts in BW 3.0b, is it possible???

    <u><i><b>Referes to BW 3.0b</b></i></u>
    I have another short question concerning graphs.
    Bex gives a fixed set of optional colors for charts, however I need some other colors in order to fit with the given style guide.
    I know that it is possible to use a picture, however I am looking for a way in order to define my own colors for charts.
    Anybody got an idea?
    Greetings,

    The problem is that I do not have a color column....
    I can choose a color in the chart designer and I also get to the same option when using the wizard. <i>I am not sure if it is the right wizard as I have never used the wizard for chart editing before. How do you open the wizard to edit an already existing chart?</i>.

    Hi
    There is another way also of doing same thing -
    1. First select 'Grid Lines' as Horizontal in the chart.
    2. Then set value range manual & give min & max values.
    3. Adjust interval size so as your 'Benchmark value' will come as one of the intervals.
    Earlier what i explained is visible only if there are more than 1 values on category axis for a given field.

  • Using a color rendition chart

    Someone just emailed me a TIF scan of an printed image with a color rendtion chart next to it. The chart is "Farbkarte #13" from "B.I.G."
    Is there a way of utilising this within Lightroom to ensure I am seeing the scan correctly? (Monitor calibration notwithstanding...)
    (I'm entirely amateur and have never used a color rendition chart for anything before. Go easy.)

    You really aren't helping the OP with the question posted. Film photographers have been using an 80% reflectance gray card for years to help set white balance in the final print. The same procedure can be used very successfully for setting the white balance in a photo editing application such as Lightroom or Photoshop. We now have far more sophisticated tools for not only setting the white balance, but also creating complete camera profile for use in Lightroom. The most notable and affordable is the ColorChecker Passport manufactured by X-Rite.
    My recommendation to the OP is to go ahead and "try" the white balance procedure I posted using the LR eyedropper tool. It should work better than "nothing at all!"
    I also suggest putting a hardware monitor calibration device high on your list of important items to purchase for your digital imaging workstation. The ColorChecker Passport would be a nice but distant 2nd item on your list. For establishing white balance an inexpensive 90% reflectance card like the below is all that is necessary:
    DGK Color Tools Digital Grey Kard
    Shoot the 90% card with your digital camera for standard lighting conditions, such as Sunny Daylight, Cloudy, and Indoor Tungsten Lighting. Make sure the card is not over exposed (i.e. between 80% and 95% in LR) in the picture. Then use the eyedropper tool to determine the proper white balance settings in LR for your camera, and save them as Develop Presets. You only need do this once, and it is clearly way better than nothing at all and not expensive!

  • Difference between Background Color and Wall color in Charts

    Dear Experts,
    Can anyone please explain me the difference between Wall Color and Background Color in Charts and how they behave?
    Regards
    Sam

    Hi
    You can cleary notice the use of Wall Color and Background Color in case of 3D Bar /3D Area/3D Line/3D Surface charts
    Wall color -> color of the Wall in case of 3D Bar /3D Area/3D Line/3D Surface chart.
    Background Color --> Chart Background Color

  • Colors in charts

    Hello.
    I'm currently trying to dynamically assign colors to lines in a chart depending on the name of the line.

  • LineChart - Style line in the chart

    Hello,
    I am trying to style the line in a LineChart. I would like to turn off the shadow behind the line, change line color, and change thickness of the line. Is it possible to change it somehow?
    Thanks, Gabor

    Look in caspian.css (you can extract it from jfxrt.jar) and you will find this style. It would be easiest to copy this into your own .css file and then add that as a stylesheet to the Scene.
    .chart-series-line {
        -fx-stroke: #f9d900;
        -fx-stroke-width: 4px;
        -fx-effect: dropshadow( two-pass-box , rgba(0,0,0,0.3) , 8, 0.0 , 0 , 3 );

    Xubuli,
    I looked into your question and confirmed that Border.Color is not located under the Excel.Series library. Instead, you must locate it under _Worksheet.UsedRange as seen below in the figure. I am attaching the VI file where I located the the Border.Color property node, and I am also including a SubVI on the block diagram that goes into explicitly set the cell color and border. This SubVI can be found under Programming>>Report Generation>>Excel Specific>>Excel Format>>Excel Set Cell Color and Border.vi, if you have the Report Generation Toolkit installed. I hope this helps.
