Email notification in the COPY BADI

Hi,
I am having an email notification problem. Pls let me know what is the mistake i am doing here.
In the COPY BADI, i have a check whether to create follow on based on the user auth. If the follow is not allowed for a particular user i am raising do_no_copy exception and then sending an email to the user. I dont see any errors while debugging for the send email FM. But i dont see in SOST any email.
SCOT settings are done perfectly (email notification is working for creation of the documents).

Very Disappointing. You fill out a Form and you can't get the Form via E-Mail :-(
Only the information you filled in in the empty fields.
I designed a contract formular for customers.
The customer fills out the PDF in the web form.
Via E-Mail notification i get the infos the client entered in the form.
But not the PDF itself.
So i have to enter the web frontend search the data and download the filled in form from there.
After downloading the form i have to e-mail the form to the customer and the mailing list by hand ...
I would think that it is an obvious feature that you can e-mail copy of what is entered (together with the text of the formular!) as an pdf attachement and not only the entered fields ...
Maybe someon can check this feature request. (Attach entered form as PDF to the notification E-Mail).
It would also be great if you would have the possibility to enter an E-Mail Adress for CC insinde the formular :-)

Email notifications and the notifications to the application

How to stop email notification so that when the notifications are released, the users doesn't get emails but they should be able to see when they log into the application.
The reason being to restrict the email notifications in the development instance.

There are several ways I can think of doing this -
1. Change the global email setting (for all users) to NOMAIL
Use Workflow Administrator Web Applications responsibility, navigate to Notifications, then click Administration tab, set Notification Style (in Global Preferences) to "Disabled" or "Do not send me mail"
2. Set a test email address so that all notifications are sent to this test address.
Use System Administration responsibility, navigate to Workflow, Service Components, click on Workflow Notification Mailer, "Set Override Address" button and follow the wizard instructions.
3. Turn off (disable) running of Notification Mailer.
Use System Administration responsibility, navigate to Workflow, Service Components, Workflow Notification Mailer radio button, select "suspend" on right, click Go
Option #2 is recommended

Email notifications are the only thing NOT working!!! Everything is set up correctly. The form works and the person submitting gets a message, but I don't. I tried 3 different email addresses and still not working. Any real fix for this?

The Book confuses me. I still think assignment delay and leveling resources are the same. Here is the explanation from the book for the three concepts.
" Project offers two types of delays:
Leveling delay. This type of delay applies to tasks; it pushes out the start date for the task and all its resource assignments. It’s meant specifically for remov-ing resource overallocations. With the Leveling Delay field, you can remove
all leveling delays by choosing Resource➝Level➝Clear Leveling.
Assignment delay. This type of delay applies to a single assignment within a task. Suppose you have a security consultant coming in to help lock down your site. However, your employees have prep work to do before the consultant can get started.
You can assign everyone to the same “Try hacking into office” task but delay the consultant’s assignment by 5 days. "

Email notification for the Activity Person Assigned

I have a query from my client. They want to know the possibility of sending an email notification to the Person Assigned to an activity. Once the activity is REL, system should be able to send email (Outlook email or SAP mail) having the task details to the Person Assigned to that activity.

Send email notification when the baseline and actual values are different in project

I am working with MS Project 2013 and Project Server 2013.
I need to the send email notification to the program manager (or to a user) whenever the project manager changes the task finish date for a task. Comparison should happen with the baseline finish and the difference needs to be updated to the Program Manager
over mail.
How to configure/customize email notification for changes in MPP.
Please suggest.

If you are not having developer skills it will be complicated for you.
You need to create event handler by code, as in the below link:

Java Email notification in the taskbar

Hi,
I am a newbie to Java web start.
In my task, I have to create a java application for email notification (similar to the yahoo messenger email alerts) on the task bar when the new mail arrives and on clicking the icon it should take to appropriate mailbox.
On googling over some of the topics, I came to know the java web start can provide the facility to meet my requirement but I have no clue on where to start with.
It would be of great help if any of you can provide me a heads up on where to start with or examples or documents or some good ideas.

How to change the reason in a ICWC-followup-process with the copying-BAdI?

Hi all,
I want to use the followup- and docflow-functionality in ICWC to copy most of the information from one process to another.
I made the definition of a copying control in the customizing -> working with a new BAdI and the copying routine. Everything works fine so far: I can get/change the description in the BAdIs ORDERADM_H method or the ibase information REFOBJ method for examples.
The question is now how to get/change the reason of the process?
Working with the genil_model_browser the reason is located in BTOrderHeader->BTHeaderBOSSet->BTSubjectSet_F->BTSubject_A1. Where can I find the reason in the BAdI methods?

Put a break point in crm_order_maintain to see what structures and fields you need to fill out. Then change the reason code in crm online, you will have all the data you need.

Auto provisioning users and send email notification to the users

I currently have CUCM 10.5 setup to auto register phones and I use Cisco prime provisioning 10.5 to auto provision the users.
Self provisioning is setup and users can call the IVR number enter the self service ID, which is their DN.
what I would like to do is send an email notifying the end user of their setup and how to use their telephony device Example (Self-service ID: 8888, auth code: 3333) is this possible from Prime Provisioning or CUCM.

Wishful thinking I guess. It would have been seamless if they added that form of email notification to end users when auto provisioning. Anyways to get around that I used MS word mail merge and used the same spread sheet I used to batch provision the users to send the Self-service ID to the email contacts.

Press and hold both the home and power buttons 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own.
