Email notification is not sent to the user and admin

Hi gurus ,
We have a incident  that user and admin is not received the email notification to lotus notes id.other users receiving the notifications from the same application.Same user and admin  receiving mails from other applications
SWI1 no error but in SOST there is no record of a mail sent.
Have checked SU01 the user has an email address maintained both in ESS and R/3.
As per config SO16 - home address is selected.
In the profile his external email id is selected as home address.
what should i check next to sort out the issue.

    We are currently implementing the ECS scenario for SRM 5.0. We have a requirement where email has to be sent to the requester to perform the confirmation 7 days after the delivery date in the PO. A second reminder has to be sent 14 days after the first email.
    To achieve this, we're using the BADI BBP_ALERTING. We've written the logic. But we're not very sure how will this get activated and how will the emails be sent. Do we have to run any job?

    RSALERTPROC program may help you to get an alert messages depends on the alert category.
    i am searching this badi BBP_ALERTING but it did not exist in my srm 5.0 system. Any thoushts?
    Using BAdI BBP_ALERTING you can define your own events for SRM Alert Management and you can override existing (delivered) events. You can also override the standard alert categories and change the links(URLs) that the recipient uses to get to the relevant business object (document). In addition, you can use the document data to determine your own recipients.
    This BadI serves to enhance and/or vary the settings of the IMG activities under
    Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Event and Event Schema for Alert Management.
    The following methods are available:
    BBP_EVENTS_ANALYZE
    Change the standard events and define your own events
    BBP_EVENTS_CATEGORIZE
    Change the standard alert categories
    BBP_EVENTS_DET_RECIPIENTS
    Change the standard recipient

  • Notifications are not sent to some users, even after the status is green.

    Hello
    There are some notifications sent to many(4 to 5 users and i am one of them) users from the SAP system. And i can see in the SCOT transaction that the notifications are sent successfully to all the users. Status is Green(transmitted). But,the issue is that, Some users are getting the notifications and some(Incliding myself) are not.
    The users who has mail id say for example  [email protected] are getting the notifications within no time but some usres who has maild id like [email protected] are not getting the notifications even after a day.
    There are two Nodes are active in the SCOT transaction, One is SMTP and other one is Dummy.
    In the address area of the Node SMTP, around 11 users mail ids are maintained, which includes both type mail ids xxxxxxx@xyz and
    [email protected]
    And the * (star) is maintained in the address area of the Node Dummy.
    Can you please give me some clue which can help me in resolving this issue.

    Thanks for your inputs.
    As i informed that, there are two nodes active in the SCOT transaction. Address area of the NODE A is already set as '*'. So, it was not possible for me to set the start * value in the address area of the NODE B. I dont think its possible to maintain * in Both the NODES.
    In the Node A, we have maintained * and in the Node B we have maintained some users mail ids. Because, as this is Quality system we dont want everyone to get the notifications.

  • Not able to get Email Notification even after did all the steps in MDS

    I have set simple Human Workflow : If new product come, then email will go to one of the user and get the approval from that user.
    For that I created 2 Entities Called Product, Product Status. I have set the Business rule like if the New product has come, then the Product status will be ' Pending for review'. And I selected one of the user in Notification Column in Business Rule Management
    Page.
    From back End, I have set the data base mail profile and updated the column MDMRootURL with 'My MDS URL' in tblsystemsetting table.
    But Still I didnt get Email Notification. What I have missed in this process. Please help me out in this regard. Thanks!

    Have you any log information regarding this issue? If so, please post the log to us for further investigation(Right click on Database Mail, and select View Database Mail Log).

  • SUS - MM Scenario: notification mail not sent to all Supplier Users

    Hi,
    we're in a SUS-MM scenario and we publish Purchasing documents (PO and/or SAR) to SUS portal.
    The notification mail for new published documents are sent only to the e-mail address of the Supplier (imported from SAP to SUS) which is in the SAP Supplier Master data. But if the Admin supplier creates other users for the supplier (F1 / F2 / F3), the notification mail for new published PO/SAR are not sent to the mail address of F1 / F2 / F3 users. Is it the standard behavior or is there some missing customizing setting missing?
    Our customer wants that notification mail are sent to all the mail addresses of the Supplier Users.
    Has someone had this kind of requirement? and, if it is not achievable via standard customizing, which could be the right solution to meet this requirement?

    This is a standard SAP process which SAP has provided,
    The other way is to develop a custom program,
    1) Select the Supplier.
    2) Check the available contact persons of the Supplier.
    3) When a document is created in ECC (Hope you are in MM-SUS), select the list of contact persons for Supplier. (I assume need a RFC FM to develop to SUS)
    4) Send a e-mail to all users linked with this Supplier.
    You can find the linked Contact persons in BP transaction and Table BUT000.
    Please change the Status of the Issue once your problem solved, other will get benefitted. If possible post the soulution.

    When doing an email merge on my Mac with Office 2011 and Lion (10.7.3), the email is not sent to the email address in excel file. EX. the excel file email address is "[email protected]", but the merge is sending it to "[email protected]"  - how do you specify with column in the excel file is the proper email?

    1. you need to check the mail server url is corrcet/not in smtp by using t.c scot
    2. need to check  r u provide correct user detils/not by using t.c su01.

    If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
    The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
    The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
    Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
    Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
    Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.

    There is no cache where the emails would be stored on the iPad, but you could try quitting the mail app and then launch it again and see if the emails return.
    Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Tap the home button. Then try mail again.

  • HT1430 I can not open my email.  A box comes up stating- CAN NOT GET MAIL, The user name or password for "Hotmail" is incorrect,   I never have to use a password on my IPAD.    What is going on?

    Check your email settings (on your iPad) for that account and make sure the username and/or password are correct.

            I am in SRM 7.0 and SP03. I am using program '/SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALSEND' to send notification to approver. 
                 Email notification is not sending to contact person in SRM 7.0 after all approvers approved the shopping cart. I even enabled checkbox 'Approval of application object' for Contact person (in most cases, the creator of the document) in the SPRO-SAP Supplier Relationship Management-SRM Server-Cross Application Basic Settings-Business workflow-Process-Controled Workflow-Business Process Configuration-Define Recipient of Notifications. Am i missing something or is it how SRM 7.0 Build. I knew that this functionality is there in SRM 5.0 by activate the security level in the user settings(SU01), I also know that this setting will not work if we use Process control workflow. Any input on this..

       Thanks for your input. I maintained the below entries but still it is not working. creator is not still receiving approved Email once the shopping cart is fully approved.

    2. I enabled all four check boxes in this path Define Recipient of Notifications - approve shopping cart - contact person ( in most

    But I don't know how to maintain or what to maintain for Define Event Schema. This will be highly appreciate if you share your great experience on this..

       I am facing another issue that the Email is having a PORTAL link (Login text above is basically a link), when i click and after login into portal a pop up is displayed 'The specified transaction mode is not allowed with respect to workflow status of current document'. any idea about this issue?

    If all you did was rename your ID, you can go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted, then sign back in with your renamed ID.  Deleting the account only deletes the account and any data you are syncing with iCloud from your phone, not from iCloud.  Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing accounts, your data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in.
    If, however, you are changing to a new account with a new ID, choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted.  Then choose Merge when you sign into the new account and turn your iCloud syncing back on to upload your data to the new account.
    Before deleting the account, save you photo stream photos to your camera roll (tap Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll).

    Why does message show as sent when the user is offline??
    After merging my Facebook and msn, I've been told by my Skype contacts, that whenever I'm offline, and they message me, it shows that I got the message. Just like I'm online.
    This is also happening to my other friends who have merged their accounts ;(....!!!!
    Please help, please! ;(...!!! I'm not hacked, I know, but it's happening even with other people who have merged the ACC....

    In theory you should still receive the message once the device is turned back on. The message is sent, then goes via the carriers servers and once a signal is available to your device the message will be delivered. This is the same with iMessages, the message will show as ‘delivered’ once the iPhone has been switched on and is connected to the network. However, from time to time messages may not be delivered. Do you know if this is a singular instance or if it has happened regularly?
