Email sending is not working with utl_smtp (migrated from 9i to 11g)

We have used UTL_SMTP package to send emails in Oracle 9i. But when we have migrated to Oracle 11g, the procedure used to send emails compiled successfully, but we were not able to receive the mails.
Not able to figure out the exact issue/error.
Please let me know if there is any solution other than using UTL_MAIL in 11g.

SAP PI FTP sender adapter not working with SAP ECC over Itanium

Hi,
We have been running normally SAP PI 7.0 SP14 with no issue for a while.
We are now in the process of migrate the SAP ECC system from PA risc to IA platform. We are performing some tests between SAP PI and SAP ECC to check that the platform migration is not affecting us in any way and we have found that FTP adapter sender is not working anymore (receiver is working as usual).
We place some files in the new ECC system and when PI goes to retreive the files it is like it can not read anything. It gives no error but it does not pick any file. This is not happening with the old platform.
Does anyone have any idea?

Email settings DO NOT WORK WITH iOS Devices

Vz keeps sending these "important" instructions for email port settings, BUT they do not work with iOS devices--iPhones and iPads. Last go around with this I spent over 16 hours trying to reconcile until an Apple Expert discovered "special" instructions for iOS device settings. Get with the program, Verizon.

Norton Login is not working with the upgrade from firefox. Not too happy about this

Send As not working with cached mode enabled

I am having some issues using Send As. We are running Exchange 2010 Version 14.2 (Build 247.5) and Outlook 2013.
I have done the following:
1. created a mailbox user
2. created a security group and added my own account
3. added the security group with Send As permission through ADUC on the mailbox user
4. Waited a day and tried to send as the mailbox user, but it fails
If I disable cached mode or use OWA it works perfectly. The mailbox is NOT hidden in the address list.
I have seen this behavior before, but can't remember the "fix"?

Hi,
From your description, the send as permission works well via OWA or Exchange online mode, the send as permission is configured successfully. The issue is related to Outlook side, in your case, I recommend you create a new profile and check the result.

Email personalization does not work with no first name

In Business Catalyst, if you insert the tag { tag_recipientfirstname}, the tooltip on this feature advises that "First name of the recipient (replaces with 'Friend' if first name is empty)".
This is false advertising.
It does not replace with 'Friend', it just leaves it blank.
Obviously, this is a major problem when trying to send out personalized emails, and doesn't help us make the case for a client to use Business Catalyst instead of MailChimp, iContact, or any of dozens of other email tools that reliably provide this simple, simple feature.
When can we expect this simple, basic feature to function as advertised?

Email alert/notification not working with Exchange/Activesync

Hello, I have an Exchange Active sync setup that is otherwise working just fine. Up until this morning, I had the standard audible and vibrate alert when an email was 'pushed' to the iPhone (when locked). This stopped working. I now have to go into the email app, it seems to then 'check' for emails, and only then I receive an alert. I should mention that I upgraded to 2.1 this morning so this could be related. Is it possible that 'push' is not working properly? All my other 'push' settings are the same, and I deleted my account and re-established it to verify I did not miss anything. Thanks in advance.

I am experiencing the same issue. I logged a support incident with Apple; the tech I spoke to added an Exchange acocunt to his iPhone and had the same problem - no "push". He promised to get back to me tomorrow with hopefully a solution. I will keep you posted.

Gcc not working with compiled glibc from PKGBUILD

You have stripped glibc too much. See the Arch PKGBUILD and make sure your makepkg.conf has STRIP_BINARY etc defined.

DNG Profile Editor not working with new Profiles from LR 3.6?

I'm noticing that DNG Profile Editor is not really able to work with profiles from newly supported cameras, like the X10. Apparently the profile spec has been updated. Has DNG Profile Editor been abandoned or will it be updated to work with the new spec? I really hope it is!

Thanks. I am looking forward to editing the v4 profiles for the D700 - I just want to change a few colors in the existing profiles. I think the existing v4 profiles do an excellent job of matching the Nikon colors, but I don't like a few of the Nikon colors. Some colors have too much Red, but Red is too Orange.
I have selected a number of images that have colors I want to change. I selected the Camera Neutral (v0) and Camera Portrait (v0) and using the latest DNG Profile Editor I select the 18 colors from the Color Checker Chart. I then use the images that have the colors I want to change and determine which of the 18 points I selected from the Color Checker are close. I then edit those points - only 6 points. I only need to change the Hue by 5 units or less. I don't change any of the other selected points of the Color Checker, but feel that by selecting them I locked in the exisiting colors. Hope this is a good aproach.
I wish Nikon would do something equivalent to the DNG Profile Editor for their Picture Control profiles so they could be edited and loaded into the camera.

If the check box is checked then I have to display panel group layout otherwise not. The problem what I am facing here is Partial Trigger is not working, If I Un check the boolean box and refresh the page then I see it is working. If I don't refresh the page I am not seeing this is working as expected.

New iMAC - Time Warner POP Email Send (SMTP) Not Working

Greetings,
Have used cinci.rr.com account for years across many different types of PCs. New to mac world. My new @mac.com account works fine for sending and receiving.
When I added in my cinci.rr.com pop account, I receive fine, but no joy on the SMTP sends. I'm using password auth with a good username and password. Port 25, no SSL just like the help screens from Apple and Time Warner say. (Matches my PC settings also)
Visual symptom is SMTP account offline even when i manually enable online. Removing the 'password' but keeping the username prompts me for a password on connection, but when password is given, Mail reports that ISP doesn't support authentication.
What's the magic setting?

VERY helpful in answering my Rochester.rr.com account. So I turned off my authentication, but had to leave my wife's on because "no two settings can be the same" or whatever it said. I assume that's okay because I just tested both emails and they both sent.
Any issues with one being set to "no authentication" and one using a password? Does everything just send off of one server? Or should I change her port setting to something else and then change it to "no authentication"?

Email sending/fowarding not working

My accounts are with AT&T, UVerse, via Yahoo and today I am unable to send or forward any emails. Contact list doesn't even come up when trying to forward or send any email. I get the ERROR MESSAGE 2. It has been about at least 3 hours now and no "fix". Can anyone help?

My email forms are not working with one website, but are for my others, all hosted by the same host....

I cannot get my email forms to work for one of my live sites... They work when I published to business catalyst, now they do not. I have contacted the host and they cannot seem to see the issue, as the other sites they host for me, the forms work just fine... Please help, I am about to punch a hole through my computer...

Whatever happened, it sounds like you need to reset your phone. As contacts and messages seem to have gone they would be lost anyway unless they were on the SD card and/or backed up using Nokia Suite.
I'd suggest you reset the phone by dialling *#7370# followed by the security code which is 12345 by default (is asked). The phone will reset and you should be able to use it again afterwards.

Email 'send' button not working

I have an odd problem.
The 'Send' button on my Mail application is greyed out so I can still receive mail but I can't send any.
Has anyone any experience of something odd like this, and if so, what advice would you offer?

First is for 10.6, second for 10.5, but both have essentially the same thing for a dimmed send button...make sure the SMTP server is not set to none.
