Email to be sent after condition record update in VK12
Hello Everyone,
I would like to know if any of you have worked on the following scenario,
a) Whenever you make an update to a condition record in VK12, we need to send an email informing the relevant person about the change.
We have been suggested that we can use actions instead of workflow.
I would appreciate it if anyone of you could help with this issue.

In standard SAP functionality it is not there either you can restrict or set authorisation, If you are looking for this function look for exits.

I can't seem to find any info on this. I am assuming that it is impossible. Correct?When sending the emails with larger attachments that take a little time to actually upload and get out, you can open the activity viewer by pressing command-0 (or is it command-o?--)--it may also be under the window menu at the top--I'm not at my Mac right now to check. The activity viewer has a stop button on it. After you stop it, you should be able to either delete the email from the outgoing mail folder or drag that email to another folder, such as the drafts folder. I've done this a few times without a problem.

Condition Record Updation Problem

Kindly note that after i maintain a condition in VK11 ,in the sales order item level , when i click on the Update button it does not get effected ,ie the condition is not updated in the line item in the order

As I understood from your question, first time when you create the line item, price was picked correctly. And then when you click on the Update button, if went off. Am I right?
If that's the case, do like this. You'll be able to identify the issue.
First add another line item there with the same material. Then go to LI/ Condition tab. If the price is there, click on the Analysis button. Under that check your condition type. You'll be able to see how the condition record was determined.
Then do the Update button option.
Then again try with the Analysis button option.
You should be able to compare this with your previous findings and identify the cause.

Execution does not end even after all records updated..

Here I can monitor from other window howmany records are inserted into tablex and howmany updated in update statement by...

After 50 mins i can see that all records are updated but...
plsql code does not end its execution it continues even after all records are updated..untill i have to kill the session or let be run for long time.. :(
I can not understand why this it is not ending execution..

Hello all,
I have a requirement like this. Whenever a user create or change a PO, Then the info record should updated in me12 and also condition records needs to be updated in conditional records. I know how to update info records. But i dont know the FM or Bapi to update the conditional records from the PO. Please let me know the solution to update the info condition whenever Po Changed or manual Po created.

You cannot change the conditions in the info record from the PO as info record has time dependent conditions and PO had time independent conditions.
You can only update the last reference document in the info record and also the order price history in the info record but not conditions.

No email, contact, or Calendar after 2.1 update
Dammit! I can't get my Pop 3 OR ActiveSync Outlook, Calendars or Contacts. Has anyone else had this problem after update? I am on eternal hold now with support, so thought I would post this in the meantime. I did notice in iTunes my "Sync Mail Account" to Outlook was unchecked. I rechecked and resynced and still no mail, contacts or calendar from server.
I could not get my mail from exchange after the update as well. I am concerned we are getting windows type answers with the iphone -- restart and wait for 5 mins -- or turn a feature off and on. This was the reason I moved away from the windows mobile phones and PCs.
In any case, I am told that there still may be an index re-build issue with the outlook email index. So to get your mail back, go to your exchange settings on the iphone and set the "Mail days to sync" to no limit.
Then go back to your mail contacts and calendar settings section and scroll to the bottom and set your calendar sync to all events.
I think this rebuilds the index and you can then get your mail back. As it starts downloading, you can go and revert these settings to the ones you want (aka 1 month etc) and once the index is built the mail appears. At least it did for me.
Don't forget to hold you breath and twirl around 3 times after the index is built -- good luck -- just kiddin... -
Iphone email won't boot after the latest update
Ive tried removing the account then restarting the phone and re entering the account, I've also followed the same process and reset the iPhone and re-entered the email account. Both with the same result. it crashes when opened. However, it still recognizes how many emails are in my inbox

Email shold be sent after locking an entry
hi everyone,
I am new to HR HCM Developments. I have configured bank information service in portal.
When user creates new entry it should get locked and one mail should be sent to administrator.
So i implemented a badi to lock the entry. But i am nt able to send the mail.
Is there any standard method or process to shoot mail whenevr the user will create and save the new entry?If change is done through PA* tcode, this can be done through dynamic action when IT0009 is created / changed using 'M' (send mail) in indicator step calling feature similar to 'M0001'.
However, ESS updates infotypes through specific function, I'm not sure if dynamic actions will be triggered . If not, you could probably call this 'send mail' feature within your current BADI (to lock entry) or simply just call SAP function to send mail (e.g. 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1') .

After 9.3 update getting error printing to Adobe PDF while converting from Powerpoint to PDF
That happened after upgrading Acrobat Pro 9.1.2 to 9.2->9.3 on Windows XP sp2 platform. Converting from other Microsoft Office 2003 products is totally normal(Excel, Word) Did anyone came accross and know how to fix that?? We have many users with exactly same issue.

Delete pricing condition records : vk12
When i mark a record as deleted in vk12, there add a tick in DeletionID column. I was told the record would be deleted after database reorgnization.
I want to ask, when will DB reorgnize? Would the deleted records be active before DB reorginze?

In v/06 for your condition type check the field delete from DB
If you set this field as A or B,then only you will be able to delete the condition record permanently via VK12.Otherwise you can only set deletion indicator. after u set the indicator in v/06, then goto
vk12 and set the record as delete.so the first one controls the actions in vk12.
condition record can be deleted in two ways
1.physical deletion
2.marked for deletion.
The customizing can be done at the condition type maintainance in V/06,
u have three options
1.physical deletion with pop up
2.physical deletion without pop-up
3.mark for deletion.
select an option there and in condition record in VK12, select the record and
and delete with the deletion indicator.
SAP recommends physical deletion

Use VK12 and set the deletion flag.
The deletion flag means that the record is logically deleted and not phisically.
some of the conditions records cannot be delete, example 'MWST'.
In such cases, the best way is to change the end date to the current date.

Conditionally disabling record updation after query
Dear members
I've a single record block and I wanna conditionaly disable records updation after query has fetched data. Problem is that if I disable the record updation in Post-Query trigger then it checks the condition for the very first fetched record and it the condition is true, then Updation is disabled for all the fetched records, even if the next records dont meet the condition. I'm using forms-10g. Can u give a better solution??? thanx.you have to use SET_ITEM_INSTANCE_PROPERTY to modify only one record:
