Embed information in an embedded chart

I have embedded a bar chart in a jpg image (Map). The image shows census tracts and the chart holds the information on consumer spending in dollars for different occupation sectors in each census tract. But along with the amount in dollars, I also want to include the index for each of these occupation sectors, again for each census tract.
Is it possible to embed this information in the chart without linking it to the image. If not, can anyone think of any other way to do this?

From my understanding, it seems that you have the icon component as a selector. When clicked on, it dynamically updates a chart wtih tract specific data depending on the icon selected. At the same time you need this chart to display data independent of the icon selection which would show customer spending data.
Based on this, would it be possible for you to use a combination chart and utilize the dual axis? Series1 can be linked to your icon forumulas which update dynamically, while Series2 can be linked to a range specifc for your customer spending data. One Y axis can measure your tract data while the second Y axis can measure your customer spending metrics.

How to embed information in an image

im trying to add text to an image without it displaying on the image. basically i need to know how to embed text in a jpeg. currently im trying to send information by adding data to the least significant bit but to no avail.

i loaded an image. the image data is a cluster. by using unbundle by name i can separate it to components. the rgb info on the data is located in "image" in the unbundle. send this to a decimate...extracting 3 values. these three values are the rg and b components of the image. the rest is as i mentioned above. take either r,g or b value (doesnt matter which color you encode the data to) do a string to byte array. send through an empty for loop with the string length wired to the count...making the loop run as many times as the number of characters ur embedding. the result is sent to replace array subset (with index 0) and then interleaved with the remaining 2 channels to form back the composite rgb...send back to a bundle by name with the characteristics coming from the original image data. draw flattened pixmap and output (this displayed pic with encoded data...no difference!!). extraction is a reverse process but inside the forloop place index array with index zero. loop count once again wired to original string length. output from the for loop goes to a byte to string and string indicator! let me know if it works for you

Embed clipping path without embedding image

I embed Photoshop images all the time in order to get a vectorized version of the clipping path. Afterwards, I relink the image I just embedded and the new vector becomes the mask. It would be nice if I didn't have to embed the image itself in order to embed the clipping path. Even better, it would be nice to see which images had clipping paths right inside of Illustrator without having to embed them or open Photoshop. Maybe this could be part of the "Link Info"?

Could you just export the path for the clipping path from Photoshop to Illustrator?
You know export paths to Illustrator under the file menu in Photoshop? Or just drag the path from Photoshop to the Illustrator document?
Oh I see what you want you want to link the file with the option to have the clipping mask be a live editable clipping mask in AI and in the same relative position.
Interesting option, like a check box link file embed clipping mask.

Embedded chart fails to display

When I use the commsec web site a chart should be shown for each stock code entered but the chart is only displayed intermittently.
When I right click on the chart to find it's source it comes from http://www.retailservices.wallst.com so the page appears to be trying to display the chart from another location. The problem is less apparent using Chrome and does not happen at all using IE9. The commsec web page requires a login so unfortunately you will not be able to test it.
Perhaps the page finishes rendering before a response is received from the chart server??
Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated

I believe that I've found the cause for this and now I would like to know if there is a cure.
If you right click the labels on the left of the chart you get the "Group (X) Axis options..." and on the layout tab there is an option that says "Skip Group Labels" this is set to true (ticked) and the number of labels to skip is set to 1. Unfortunately the option is not enabled. Can anyone tell me under what conditions that this option becomes enabled?

How do I make an embedded Javascript element(embedded MS Excel chart) automatically refresh so that viewers do not have to refresh the entire page to get updated information.

I am creating a web page that features an embedded chart made by MS Excel. I would like the chart to automatically update(refresh) to show viewers live information without having to refresh the entire page. I have found that there is a way to enable this through Excel but with my current subscription cannot access that feature. I am hoping that there is a way to achieve this using Adobe Muse CC. If it is not possible, I would like to know if there is a way to add a "refresh" button that refreshes only the embedded section(Excel Chart) of the page for viewers to use manually. Thank you for your help.

Update! The embedded spreadsheet is actually embedded using HTML rather than javascript.

Unable to embed data in any of the components

I have an xlf file that contains a series of charts, tables and other components with data embedded in them. As I get new data, I update the previous data. But, currently I am unable to embed data in the existing charts or any other new components that I create. I also have a backup of this file and the backup behaves in the same manner. I restored both these files to earlier versions created last week when I was able to update the embedded data. But I am still not able to make any changes.
I have another xlf file that was created 1-2 months ago and it works fine, so it seems that there is no problem with the software itself.
Any suggestions would be very helpful.

It had occurred to me that the old shutdown/restart routine can cure a multitude of problems. That's what I did and it took care of all of the problems in all my Numbers documents.

PDF Embed Not Showing

I am just trying to embed a PDF in my SharePoint 2013 page. I open the page, click on Edit, select the INSERT | Embed Code option, paste in the following:

The Preview shows just right, but when I click on Insert to return to the page, it displays Loading... for a second, then disappears. What am I doing wrong. I am using IE10 in compatibility mode, the SP install has Permissive set for the File handling and Acrobat
Reader is installed. In Chrome I get the same issue, so it has to be a SP2013 issue.
Please advise as in MOSS2007 it was easy, insert a content editor webpart and insert a similar bit of code. It worked fine.
I can embed YouTube videos with ease, its just frustrating when the preview shows the file, but then does not work.

Embedding DMS Documents within CG42 Report Template

Hi All,
We are using EH&S and DMS and would like to combine these two into a CG42 report template. Through CG02, we have created specifications where we would like to have some value assignments instances take advantage of the user-defined text tab to pull in documents from DMS. We have configured the system to successfully link in the DMS document info record into the user-defined tab within the value assignment area of CG02 and can view the DMS documents by double clicking on that reference.
In taking this to the next step, we would like to embed this document into our report template definition. Mind you that some of these documents are .pdf containing text and graphics. Within CG42, we go to the specification symbol that we want and open the area called ADDITIONAL INFO, which then opens to other symbols, one of which is "ESTDF Additional Information - User-Defined Text". When we open that node, it provides us with many attributes as options that we can embed within the report template. The only one that relates to content is "GESTDHEADE HEADER Start of UD Text ". It appears that all this does is just repeat the link that was specified in CG0 when we use the command to include that in the report template and then do a preview on the report.
In reading some SAP Help Documentation in the section for user-defined text, I'm led to believe that you can embed these into the report template but I have not been able to do so thus far. The only thing I can do is embed information about the user-defined text into the report template.
Can someone shed some light if this is feasible?
By the way, we are already embedding graphic logos by relating it to a phrase and keeping these images in a folder on a file server. If we must, we can use that approach but I'd really lile to keep these documents in DMS as a controlled document.

Embedding WebLogic Application Server 10.3

Are there any whitepapers or information related to embedding WLS Server into an application? Our software is used by varying sized companies and it would be beneficial for us to embed the appserver and database server within our installation routine and not expose the management to the smaller end user shops. I guess I am just looking for some information to get me started so I understand complexities involved. Right now we are just reselling under the ASFU agreement and install and configure the appserver separately (though through silent installs, JMX, JSR-88). Embedding would save time for our implementation teams as well as minimize overhead and decision making on the part of the end user :)

I believe there is an entire team at Oracle dedicated to assisting ISV's with bundling WebLogic Server. I strongly recommend that you contact your local account team.

Is there a way to load embedded html as you scroll down the page?

I'm embedding chart.js charts into a muse site and they animate in as soon as they are loaded. What I'd like to do if possible is have each graph animate on as you scroll down the page in a parallax scrolling manner. Is it possible to trigger the code to load not at the same time as the page but instead by using a scrolling effect trigger?

Compiler not embedding current assets / cache cleaning

dear all,
In FlashBuilder 4.7 (beta + release), it consistently happens that linked assets aren't (re)loaded when compiling. Cleaning the project doesn't seem to help. Restarting FB, then cleaning + building mostly reloads the assets.
Is there a way to (manually?) clean all caches, the way a restart of FB does?

This seems reproducible:
1. Make 'assets.fla' file in Flash Professional, create one symbol with some random graphics, ActionScript Linkage Class set to 'SomeGraphicAsset', publish to 'assets.swf'
2. In Flash Builder 4.7, create new ActionScript Mobile project
3. Make new Class "SomeGraphic", link with previously created graphics in Flash:

9. Close Flash Builder, reopen Flash Builder, clean project, debug -> mostly the updated graphics show.
Any feedback to make this more workable, or a way to fully flush all caches in FB are greatly appreciated.
It's crazy having to close / open FB every time a graphical asset changes in your project.

Just upgraded from FB4.6 on Win7 to FB4.7 (build 349722) on a new MacBookPro.
We have 20-30 .swc files that contain art which are merged into code. When I change the contents of a swc it is really difficult to get FB to refresh and pick up the changes. Building clean, hitting refresh on the project or lib directory. Restarting FB then building clean seems to help. On FB4.6 Windows, we always had to build clean, but not restart all of FB...
I followed a post about setting global swc cache off, but that did not seem to help either.

Missing Text in embedded PDF Window

Hi,
We have one application in which we embed Acrobat(8.1.2) and that whole application is embedded in IE(7.0) Browser. So when I open any pdf document in that application thru IE 7.0 browser, Text or content of pdf document are not coming, while navigation panel and other icons are coming in the PDF window.
I also obeserved that, when I embed acrobat as popup window (not as a child) then things works fine but that's not our requirement .
Any Idea why this problem is coming ?

We changed the embedding model with Acrobat 7 - from inProc to the other type (or maybe it's the other way around - I always get them backwards). Regardless, Acrobat 7 and later embed using proper COM embedding techniques, while 6 did not.

Cannot search file content on Word document with embedded Excel table

Cannot search file content on Word document with embedded Excel table. I have Windows 8.1 64-bit and Office 2010 Professional. Only phrases from within Excel tables are not searchable. I have many Word documents with embedded Excel table.
I use it for my invoices. Those invoices are converted to pdf to be sent via mail. Searching the same phrases in related pdf files Works fine. And yes, folders are indexed, searching service is active......... For example I can find all invoices that have
specific address or name, which is located in word document, but cannot find invoices with specific item name or price, being that information is in embedded Excel table. (not linked, embedded). I thought that is a question for Windows forum, but guys directed
me here on Office forum. To clarify, I do not use Ctrl+F inside some document, but Windows Search in my folders. Probably the same happens in Office 2013.

Hi, I have a lot of Word documents (invoices, offers). Main part of those documents is embedded Excel file because it is easier to do mathematics in Excel than in Word. There are columns with description, unit price, quantity, taxes... Now, I need
to find who bought HP switch 2530-24G last year. I open folder with last year invoices and search "2530". Cannot find any. But if that document was converted to pdf for mail, than I can find that phrase. Windows search does not work for content if the content
is in embedded file.

How to show negative value in Pie Chart from Webi?

I have below example data, I want to convert this to a pie chart in Web Intelligence, my problem is after I convert it to a pie chart, the revenue '-30' is shown as '30', looks like the pie chart is not suppor the negative value to show, I want to know if there is any workaround or solution to make the pie chart to show the negative value? Is this behavior is by design? do we have any official document to explain this?
The product I used is BOE XI 3.1 SP3.

Why are you showing this information as a pie chart? It doesn't make sense to try and display a negative slice in a pie chart. I can't really think of a logical way to try and draw a negative slice in a pie chart. With a pie chart you will need all your information to either all be positive or all negative, otherwise it doesn't work.
What you need is to have a bar chart, with positive and negative values on the y axis.
