Embed vs NON-embed in Mail

I need to send some documents NOT embedded, but I can't seem to find a way to do it. Does Mail auto embed attachments? Is there a way not to have it do this?
BTW-I need this info like yesterday.

The only ways I know of for email to get sent to an account are:
1. It was addressed to that account. Someone used that email address to send you the email.
2. It was forwarded to that account by the account to which it had been addressed. I am not aware of Mail having this feature but it is often a feature provided by your ISP that you can turn on by logging into your account via the Internet and setting it up. I assume you have not done this, though.
With several email addresses in the same Mail client, you have to be careful which one you are sending from. If you send from the wrong address, any replies will come back to that same address. I make this mistake all too often.

Non-Verizon e-mail account

Does anyone know if I can keep my non-Verizon e-mail accounts when I get a FIOS connection? The reason I ask is I previously had a Verizon DSL account and I could not use my e-mail account with a seperate ISP. Is this scenario possible with a FIOS Internet account?

Created my own subscription box in animate, how to embed the mail code into the symbols?

So i think I am on the right track, I am trying to embed my mailchimp code into my animate site, and I decided to build my own text box and button in animate and convert them into symbols. Both text box and button or inside of a bigger symbol so that they stay in a responisive design. however when I tryin and plug in the mail code it just puts the subscription box behind my symbols. Is this because html code doesnt work in animate or am I just really stupid and am doing it all wrong? Ha probably the second part, . Any help would be great!.

What's happening is that you're inserting static HTML into the base HTML of your current project. We treat any third party static HTML as underneath all managed elements. You can find out whether or not it's being treated as static by hovering over the element in the elements panel:
One thing you can do is to dynamically insert your mailchimp code into a div by changing the html() property of that div using jQuery. So, something like this:

Troubleshooting HTML embed into Mail

I have an HTML newsletter that I made in Dreamweaver. I open it in Safari > File > share > email this page. I set the content to "webpage." The issue is, no matter how may times I try this, I get a blank email... Are there ways to troubleshoot this, or alternative ways to embed an HTML file into an email with Apple Mail?
I am running all of the latest operating systems and software.

I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature or use case of the issue you are describing. If you are attempting to send the HTML file as a file, you should be able to attach it as described in the following article:

If you are trying to get the HTML to display in-line with the mail message (Rich Text), then this article may be more useful:

Why won't pdf files embed into Mail

I cannot embed a pdf file into the body of an email - I've done this before using Mail but cannot seem to accomplish it now. Even though I sent a photo only hours before by attaching it to an email and it embeded automatically. I'm trying to send a fundraising letter accompanied with a newsletter and brochure, all 3 in pdf format. Only the letter needs to be embedded, I guess, although it would be nice if all of them could be read without downloading the attachment, unless the recipients want to do this. Karen

Same here. Before it worke fine but now it just displays the small attachment logo. The pdf file is 3,5 mb in size. Before even bigger ones have embeded so the cover photo of them has been shown where it is draged and dropped. Spent some valuable weekend time on this job issue so i am crying a river.
Any ideas?

Gmail App Issue with picture embed in mail body

Hi,
I am an iphone 5 user and have installed the Gmail app from google inc. . But there seems to be an issue with sending emails.
If a new email is composed with a picture copied from the camera roll or other app in phone and pasted onto the email body in the gmail app,
and sent out, the email body gets stripped off the embedded picture.
The sent email in the 'Sent' folder of Gmail app does not display the embedded picture. Is this a known issue with the Gmail app?
Is there any resolution?

First you have to store image in MIME Repository. , then use HTM type to send mail .,

Embed E-mail Link in ADF Bound Table?

I've got a table on a JSP that includes an e-mail address. I'd like to put an e-mail link right in the table for the address, so the user can just click on it and launch their email. Is this possible? If so, what's the syntax? Nothing I've tried comes out right.

Great idea, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work. It appears that the browser is not interpreting it correctly. Here's what I have in my SQL Statement:
'Send E-Mail'
When I run it, the application shows that text literally in the grid. If I view source from the browser, I see:
<td><a href="mailto:[email protected]">Send E-Mail</a> </td>
I've tried substituting in the SQL the ASCII characters (< for example) and it just renders that as literal text too.
Any other ideas?

Making title as non editable for Mail

I am sending mail by using FM 'SO_DYNP_OBJECT_SEND'. My need is to make title of the mail as non editable in dialog screen.

                                  EDIT_TITLE-FLAG = ' '.
          But i was not successful to display as non editable.

Encoding non-ASCII in mail subject

I'm getting =?ANSI_X3.4-1968?Q? in the subject line of my email with non-ASCII character.
I tried using encodeText from the MimeUtiliy like this but it won't work:

Non-responsive Yahoo mail page

My Yahoo mail page is non-responsive and is missing content (icons). Browser (Safari 5.0.6) or Yahoo problem?

I figured out what is going on. The newer version of Yahoo mail no longer supports Safari 5.0.6. You have two choices:
1)You can upgrade your MAC 10.5.8 to 10.6 and get the newer version of Safari. You can only upgrade if you have intel processor.
2) You can change your Yahoo mail from the newer version to Basic (there is no more Classic) by doing the following:
Click the settings gear icon near your Yahoo! Mail's top right corner (or hover the mouse cursor over it).
Select Settings from the menu that appears.
Go to the Viewing email category.
Make sure Basic is selected under Mail version.
Click Save.
I opted for option 2 and it worked! I now have full access to Yahoo mail, icons and all. I actually went to another newer computer to make the switch to Basic Yahoo. Let me know if this works for you.

Deleting non contacts from mail

Was hoping to get some help.
I am trying to delete non contacts from the memory in my iPad. What is happening is when I begin to type an email, the address of all previous sent emails come up in memory. I only want to save my contacts.
Any advice on how to delete non contacts ?

Hopefully you have a Mac:
Remove them from your computer Mail via Menubar > Window > Previous Recipients then re sync mail.

ICloud non invia le mail

Mi capita sempre più spesso (ormai la maggioranza delle volte) di scrivere email dal mio iPhone (alcune volte capita anche dal pc) ma, una volta premuto invio, non vedo apparire la scritta "invio in corso" e quando controllo sulla posta inviata la mail appena spedita non c'è. Nemmeno dopo ore dalla spedizione, nè aggiornando la pagina, nè chiudendo l'applicazione. E' come se non avessi mai inviato la mail.
Una volta ogni tanto ci può anche stare, ma adesso 7 volte su 10 la mail scompare!
Che fare?

Has anyone successfully been able to configure DPM 2012 to send email notifications to a standard SMTP mail server (NON-EXCHANGE)?

I try with IIS6 SMTP server with Anonymous Access.
From DPM side, settings for "Authentificated SMTP Server: Username/password" :
1- Leave blank =>ID 2013 : logon failure : unknow user name or bad password.
2- DPMServerName\UserAccount => Works :)
Network trace with Wireshark :
1- Nothing => Most likely blocked by DPM console : Authentificated SMTP Server must be fill.
2- See full SMTP connection, mail send.
Could you do network trace to see what's happen ?

None of my mail except my inbox migrated? How do I move stuff

I switched to these because of issues with Mavericks and Apple Mail.
I have this set up but the only mail that transferred was my inbox. There is nothing in All Mail and none of the drafts i was working on transferred.
How can I move them.
I looked through some info but it is too complicated for me to read due to some neuro issues.
I need dumbed down step by step helps.

re: all the mail that was in my inbox in Gmail is gone.
The emails were downloaded to the Pop gmail mail account Inbox.
move them into Local Folders Inbox.
create Imap gmail account.
Move emails from Local folders back onto the server.
(try a few at first and check they are correctly displaying in webmail)
