'Embedded RP on IPv6' + System received a SegV exception

Hi.
I try to configure de folloing scenary - Embedded RP with IPv6
I used 3 cisco 2600 routers:'Cisco IOS Software, C2600 Software (C2600-ADVENTERPRISEK9-M), Version 12.4(5), RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3)'
For cliente and server streamnig, i used Videolan-Client
I have end-to-end conectivity - in R1 i can ping sucessefully 2001:ddd::1
In R2, i have configured de serial0/1 with: IPv6 address 2001:ccc:beef:feed::1/32
in the same router, R2, i configured: 'ipv6 pim rp-address 2001:CCC:BEEF:FEED::1'
all routers have enable embedded rp: 'IPv6 pim rp embedded'
but when i put VLC to stream at address [FF76:140:2001:CCC:beef:feed::1], the cisco IOS reboot...
What is a problem?? bug in IOS, bad configurations??

How to test if remote R/3 system (Receiver) is down in case of Async RFC call? There is no BPM as well. I have configured an alert category and created a rule in runtime workbench's Alert Configuration for the specific inbound interface.
I have tried by stopping the channel and also by changing the server name in the communication channel but all in vail. XI still shows message successfully processed.

Meanwhile, you would have an error in the receiver RFC adapter in Comm Channel Monitoring.
Maybe you change another RFC adapter rather than the one being used in the receiver agreement.

No interface Idoc in Business system Receiver

Hello,
I have one question concerning my interface for receiver.
My scenarion is File to Idoc and when I configure my receiver determination, and I choose my business system receiver 'BS_ER6CLNT001' I don't find my interface 'CREMAS.CREMAS05' insinde, I have to click first to 'All' and there I find it.
Is it normal? Because I receive in 'sxmb_moni' the error receiver could not be determined.

Hi
This is not like that. It depends on the software component in which you have imported the idoc.
If the software componet where the idoc was imported ,is included in the Business System then you can find all the interfaces,idocs,rfcs directly.
In your case you might have imported the CREMAS in a different software component ,which is not included in your Business System.
You can just check by adding that softwar component to Business System in SLD,then you can
try in Integration Directory .

RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: System received an expired SSO ticket

Hi All,
We installed NW 7.0 SP 14 with EP 7.0; All the post-installation steps were completed and JCo's configured with SSO to backend ECC 6.0 system.
Since morning we are getting he below mention error when trying to test the JCo's for all the users.
com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: System received an expired SSO ticket.
Tried many variations and also changed the Ticket expiration time(to 24 from 8) restarted the server but the problem still remains. Can any one suggest any more ideas on how to sole this?
Is this problem any where related to CR Content? If so can you suggest how to check the current veriosn and how to find out the exact level which would be supported for our NW system.

Hi,
Your portal certificate has expired.
To renew - you need to generate a new one in the ticket keystore using Visual Admin.
Next you export the new updated ticket to the trusting system (in yoru case ECC) using tcode STRUSTSSO2.
You then import the ticket and assign it to the ACL.
Issue should then be resolved.

Background:
I wrote a large piece of VBA code in an Excel workbook to help handle a lot of repeating jobs. I found it is painful to maintain and modify the code by using the "pool" VBA Editor. Then, I decided to move those VBA code to C# solutions, which I
suppose I can benefit from the modern editor - Visual Studio.
Problem:
Although I don't know too much about VBA, I know even less about C#. Hence I got some problem when I try to "translate" my VBA code to C#, and here is one of them:
I create a document-level solution for Excel. I need to embed some files (.cab, .exe) into the solution, so when I run a method (e.g. by clicking a button), those files will be copied to the file system, and do some job.
In VBA, I embedded those files in the Excel workbook, then I can copy the embedded objects to the clipboard by using the following VBA code:
Sheet1.OLEObjects("obj_cab").COpy
And then I can paste the object to the file system by using the following VBA code:
CreateObject("Shell.Application").Namespace("C:\Sample\").Self.InvokeVerb "Paste"
In the C# solution, I can use the following equivalent method to copy the embedded object to the clipboard:
Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.OLEObject OLEobj = (Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.OLEObject)sheet1.OLEObjects("obj_cab");
OLEobj.Copy();
Then I stuck here, I don't know how to get this object from clipboard and put it to the file system. The 'CreateObject' method does not exist in C#.
Anyone can help? Either a better way to embed those files or a working way to paste those objects (files) from clipboard to the file system?

It's possible to save the oleobject to the disk. But it's not very simple. Because when you call the Copy method of OLEObject to clipboard, it's actually not the exact the oleobject file itself, it's actually a wrapper of the file, it means that it has different
file headers and some other information from the original oleobject file.
To save oleobject on the disk, you need to analyze the byte array by yourself, this would be a little complicated. You could check the answer in this thread for the code sample:

You will need to open a TAC case for this. The image you are running supports a feature called ASLR which requires additional information be collected to try and decode things. Also it would be best to get the entire stack trace from the crashinfo file rather than just the RA and PC from the console dump. It is best to have this worked by TAC to understand the root cause.

We are trying to make an project where we can make a person register in our data base & after which he/she can search for other user.
The logged in user can modify his/her own data but can view other ppl's data.
We are in a phase of registering the user & that's where we are stuck. The problem is that after the login screen when we hit register (OK- button) the data are not getting entered in the data base.

-17500 System Our of Memory Exception

Hello,
I am seeing strange behavior when I first start TestStand. I am getting an error -17500 'System Out Of Memory Exception was thrown' when executing the 'Create plug-in cache' step in the sequence 'Initialize Model Plugins' in the ModelSupport.seq. Here's the kicker: I only see this error when I try to run TestStand through a LabWindows/CVI GUI. I do not see this error when running TestStand from the Sequence Editor or a LabVIEW GUI I am using TS 2012 and CVI 2012. I am rnning the Parallel model. When I look at the Windows Task Manager Performance I do not see any memory issues. I have uninstalled and reinstalled TS and CVI to no avail. I am hoping someone else may have experienced this problem o rhave an idea of what the possible culprit is. I am running out of options.
I have attached a screen shot of the Run-Time Error window.

System.out of memory exception

I am running a TestStand sequence, using the .NET adaptor I am creating a class, and calling methods of a Class Library I created in VB.NET. I tested my class library in VB.NET and everything works in that environment. The sequence I call is pretty simple,
create an instance of my class, then
call a method that setups and initializes a camera
call a method that runs through the tests of a test sequence
The first pass of the sequence, it runs, the second pass of the sequence, whether in a For loop or the entire TestStand Sequence started again, it initializes the camera, but the second sequence, TestStand reports a system.out of memory exception in an underlying assembly/dll of my dll. But, when I call my dll from a .exe I made to test my dll, it works fine.

I am calling the setup and initialization of the camera once; it is the calling the method that runs a sequence of tests that I am repeating calls to and subsequently failing on the second call. The interesting thing is if I close out of TestStand completely after the first run. Then run my TestStand sequence again, it reportsd the same error. It seems something is not being released, or cleared, or something. Keep in mind, I am only getting this with TestStand, I do not get it when I run a test .exe that calls my dll. I since have tested calling my .exe in TestStand that calls my DLL and that works. The problem is clearly in using TestStand to create the class and call the methods.

Convention for embedding IPv4 into IPv6?

I read in rfc 4038 that representing IPv4 address in an IPv6 address should be like 2001::FFFF:192.168.1.1, which would be 2001::FFFF:c0a8:101, or 2001.2.3.4::FFFF:192.168.1.1 (2001:2:3:4:0:ffff:c0a8:101). However, setting up NAT-PT any 96 bit prefix will work. So I'm wondering if the standard set forth in rfc4038 (its informational) really applies to NAT-PT, or just for IPv4 applications not being natted (which doesn't make sense unless some other 4to6 mechanism is involved).
Any thoughts?

it is not very clear what are you trying to achieve by "embedding" ipv4 (address|traffic) into ipv6.
By what you are discussing apperaars you are talking about the rappresentation of an IPv4 address into an IPv6 address field. Fact is that all bit being born equal they mean differently based on contest.
Each 4 hex digit are 16 bit and two groups of 4 hex digits (any) can contain and IPv4 address.
So an IPv4 compatible IPv6 address would be 0:0:0:0:0:0:192.168.1.1 which can also be rapresented as ::c0a8:101.
What that means and how edge routers/devices and gateway would handle such address depends on context/configuration. 6to4 6rd autotunnels ipv4 compatible ipv6 and ISATAP tunnels carry within their address field tunnel end point/ipv4 destination addresses that are extracted and used to route traffic.
I know I did not clear the issue up but it really depends on what you are doing/trying to achieve how you embed an ipv4 address (of what) in an IPv6 address field and what that meas.
